Chapter 1
Mandy led Freddie out of the house to his car.
"Mandy," Freddie said. "Why are you in such a hurry to get rid of me?"
"My wedding dress is coming in today and you can't see the bride in her dress before the wedding," Mandy replied. "It's bad luck."
"Well," Freddie said. "I can't risk bad luck at our wedding."
Freddie got into his car and drove away. As he drove off, Neddie, Kyle, and Andrea arrived carrying a package.
"Hey, Mandy," Kyle said. "This got delivered to my house by mistake."
"My dress!" Mandy cheered, taking the package.
Kyle, Neddie, and Andrea followed Mandy into the house. As they entered the living room, Mandy sat the box down and unwrapped it.
"I can't wait to show this to you," Mandy said. "It's a wedding gown from Paris."
Mandy opened the box and screamed.
"Someone's excited," Andrea said.
"No!" Mandy screamed in horror.
Mandy reached into the box and pulled out an orange wedding dress.
"Wow," Neddie said. "Your wedding dress is…"
"It's orange!" Mandy shouted. "They sent me an orange wedding dress!"
"Okay," Kyle said, taking out a piece of paper from the box. "Let's not panic. This has a phone number to call and an English option."
After calling the number, Kyle walked back into the living room.
"Okay," Kyle said. "They said they were sorry for the mix-up and are giving you a full refund and a new dress free of charge."
"Thank goodness," Mandy said. "When will it get here?"
"In two months," Kyle said.
"Two months?" Mandy asked. "But the wedding is in one month."
"Yeah," Kyle said. "I'm sorry."
"Well, now that Mandy has her money back, she can get a new dress," Andrea said.
"That's right," Mandy said. "We can find a new wedding dress. You guys are my entourage."
"Yeah," Kyle said. "I'm not a big fan of dress shopping."
"I said you're my entourage," Mandy said in a mad tone.
"Okay," Kyle said nervously.
"Good," Mandy said cheerfully. "I'll go get my purse."
Mandy walked upstairs and Kyle looked at Neddie.
"I can see why your dad's marrying her," Kyle said.
