Chapter 5

Mandy woke up to a knock at the door. She got up, walked downstairs, and opened the door to see Freddie standing there holding a box.

"Hey," Freddie said smiling.

"Hey," Mandy said. "What's in the box?"

"Open it and see," Freddie replied, sitting the box on the floor.

Mandy opened the box and took out the wedding dress she ordered.

"My dress!" Mandy cheered. "But how?"

"Neddie informed me about your wedding dress mix-up," Freddie replied. "So I called that company and demanded they tell me who received your dress. I was able to contact them and they shipped the dress over-night."

"You are amazing," Mandy said. "I don't deserve you."

Mandy kissed Freddie.

"Thank you so much," Mandy said.

"Can I see it on you?" Freddie asked.

"No," Mandy said. "It's bad luck for the groom to see the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding."

"Bomber saw Camilla in her dress before the wedding," Freddie said.

"And…" Mandy said.

"And they're divorced," Freddie said. "Yeah, best not to see you in the dress yet. But come next month, I can't wait to see you walking down the aisle."

Mandy smiled and kissed Freddie once again.

"Me neither," Mandy said.
