One day, the frog family known as the Planters, along with their human friend whom they consider family Anne Boonchuy, were traveling along the dirt path road on their snail Bessie, heading their way to Newtopia.

They had hoped Newtopia would have some answers as to how Anne would be able to come home. Anne hoped she might run into Marcy as well, who was one of her very best friends from home.

And so, there they traveled on the road. Hop Pop was riding Bessie while the kids sat beside him looking pretty bored.

"We've been traveling for hours!" Polly whined. "Can't we take a rest stop for a bit?"

"Yeah hop pop, can't we have just a bit more fun?" Sprig asked.

Hop Pop sighed. "Now kids, I already let you have swamp slushies and this trip is just too important to make anymore stops. You understand right?"

The kids groaned. "Yes hop pop."

The family continued traveling a few more miles, when Sprig suddenly noticed a sign pointing to the coolest thing ever, which appeared to be a portal.

It was at the moment when Bessie paused.

"Hey hop pop, what's going on with Bessie?" Anne questioned.

Bessie panted heavily and started whimpering.

"Looks like Bessie needs some berries to give her more power," hop pop stated.

He climbed out of the wagon and turned to the kids. "Now I'm gonna get Bessie some berries. You kids stay put and don't do anything," hop pop lectured sternly. "I'll be back and we'll be moving in no time!"

Hop pop then started looking through Bessie's shell compartment looking for the berries.

Sprig turned his attention back to the portal. Anne noticed the mischievous look on his face and raised an eyebrow. "Sprig, what are you up to?"

"Oh, just looking at that cool circle over there. I think I wanna check it out!" He stood up and prepared to leave.

"But Sprig, hop pop told us we have to stay inside the wagon this time!" Polly reminded him.

"Don't worry guys, I'll be back in a flash!" Spriv hopped off and jumped towards the portal.

Anne and Polly stared at Sprig with worry and concern.

"Sprig get back here!" Anne whisper shouted.

"Nothing will happen, guys! And look how cool this circle is!"

However the portal started taking him and soon Sprig felt himself being lifted into the air towards it! Fear came into his eyes and he panicked, waving his arms up and down. "Ahhhhh, what's happening?!"

Anne and Polly became scared and they grabbed their heads. "SPRIG!" They cried.

Hop pop poked his head up. "What's all this commotion about- Ah Sprig!" hop pop became as equally worried as everyone once he saw his own son being taken away by the portal.

"Aaaaah! Help me, guys! Heeeeeelp meeeeee…" That was all Sprig could say before he vanished and disappeared into the portal and the portal soon closed up into thin air.

"Sprig! Where is he?!" Anne wailed.

"What the heck just happened?!" Polly asked.

"And this is why i tell you kids to stay in the wagon," hop pop sighed. "Now it looks like we need to rescue Sprig somehow."

"But how?" Anne asked. "Where did he even go?"

"Uh, Where am I?" Sprig slowly opened his eyes and rubbed his head from the pain.

He looked around and suddenly noticed this place was majorly different from where he was last time! There were better built buildings, and some weird wagons without snails or bugs were moving down a well stony path.

"Wow!" The young amphibian stared at it all in awe. "Either I ended up in the future or I'm not in amphibia anymore!"

Suddenly he frowned. "Hey, wait a minute! Where's Anne, Polly and hop pop?!"

He looked around and saw them nowhere in sight. "Anne?! Polly?! Hop pop?!"

No response. "Ack, where are they?! What's going on here?!"

Suddenly he noticed another kind of frog at a nearby window with red orange hair, wearing a pink shirt alongside some blue pants and snowy white heels with matching pearls. She appeared to be pouring herself a glass of juice.

Sprig brightened. "Hey another amphibian! Maybe she can tell me what is happening and where my friends are?"

He hopped over to the door and knocked.

The green skinned toad lady soon answered with a warm smile. "Oh, hello there frog child, what can I do for you?"

"Ma'm, my name is Sprig Plantar. Who are you and could you tell me what happened to Amphibia? Why are there different animals and better stuff?"

The toad lady chuckled. "Well, my name is Beverly Bighead, but you can call me Bev. And my dear sweet, child, you must be mistaken or have the wrong address. This isn't amphibia. You're in O-Town now."
