Zorro has a dog :) I don't know if this little light thing is the result of processing other people's stories; right know, I do not recall to have read anything with a dog, but it could have been. Anyhow, here it is, the idea was sticking, and I had to release it...

Years after Monterey, Diego lives with the decision to remain Zorro

Estimates of over how many years the series takes place vary from about four to ten years. I find it hard to believe that in all this time, Victoria never doubted whether it was all worth the effort. And she just waited very patiently for the long-awaited day to arrive one day. She wasn't known for her patience, after all. These chapters are about such times.

Victoria, Diego, Don Aleandro, Mendoza and De Soto travel to the future just in time to audition for a new tv show. Just because every self-respecting author should have one absurd time-traveling story amongst the ones published, and this is mine.

WDZ - "Taken off guard by the bullet ripping through his side, Zorro stumbled backward. Which is a dangerous thing to happen when you're running on a roof. His foot met only the void and he fell off the wall behind the cuartel." - When Zorro is injured and finds himself lying unconscious on the side of the road, he is rescued by Alejandro de la Vega, of all people.

WDZ - This psychological thriller is drenched in paranoia which threatens the mental stability of Anna Maria Verdugo while she visits Los Angeles. Can Diego/Zorro save her from such psychological abuse before it's too late?

This story was first named decisions. I came up with a title better to my liking. Something big happening in the pueblo forces Victoria to rethink her life. And she needs to make some decisions.

Diego has been having doubts about continuing with his quest for justice. He is questioning whether he should forget about Zorro or continue to protect the Pueblo of Los Angeles. He suddenly finds himself in a never ending day and must discover who he truly is meant to be.

This is a Lucifer X Zorro crossover. You don't need to know Lucifer to read this story because it's situated before the canon. Diego takes a shot for Victoria and lands into a coma. He receives help from an unusual corner.

In Freedom of the Press there is some advice for One Who Is Pining from Doña Corazon. What if Victoria decides to follow it when a stranger comes to the tavern and tells Victoria he's Zorro. While Diego is alarmed, Victoria is happy to talk to him. Check the transcript of epilogue from the episode at the end of chapter 2. Enjoy and have a laugh. And review :)

We saw how Diego managed to swallow back in the words he wanted to say when Victoria asked what he wanted most. What if Victoria sensed that she wanted the same thing Diego was meaning to say. Especially after that intense stare later that night. What if she had her personal reasons not to give in to her needs? What if this time she does?
