Author's notes :- This takes place during the final battle in EOH. What happens after it is my head cannon.
Sorry in advance if my English and grammar is bad. I am not from an English speaking country.
Disclaimer :- I don't own Jojo's bizarre adventure and Fate/Apocrypha.
Jotaro Kujo sighed as he watched the arch nemesis of his family, getting absolutely destroyed by his Stand.
DIO's body flew across the land, finally crashing into the surface of the road, uttering a terrifying screech.
Jotaro tipped down his hat, and said to the now dead DIO.
"Don't make me repeat myself. You pissed me off."
He watched as DIO's body burst apart, as various colored lights emerged from his body and flew into the sky. One, in particular huge golden light broke away from the rest and quickly flew into the Joestar descendant before he could do anything.
Jotaro's face turned into a frown, as his hand went up to his chest were the light sank in.
'What was that? The light that flew from DIO's corpse. Was it somebody's soul?'.
The lights in the sky combined together and created a huge ball of rainbow colored lights as it shone down on the self proclaimed God's killer softly, almost sadly.
Jotaro sighed again, as he mumbled silently to himself.
"Yare Yare Daze."
His entire family was dead – maybe not his mother – but his grandfather, his grandfather's illegitimate son, his ancestor, goddamn his own daughter from the future…….
Dead.
Him. Jotaro Kujo. The black sheep in the Joestar bloodline was the only one alive, were all the other noble hearts from the lineage had died.
A chime of a church bell rang in the distance in set intervals, as if signifying the passing of the souls of his friends and family.
He looked down at the asphalt, closing his eyes and stood silently, listening to the bell toll.
When Jotaro opened his eyes, he found out he was standing in complete darkness.
In the distance, he spied what he thought of was the entire universe, down from the tiniest galaxy to the greatest voids, from the smallest planets to the greatest stars and more and more…..…
"Beautiful isn't it?". A voice sounded from behind him.
At once, Jotaro summoned Star Platinum which stood behind its user protectively, its arms ready to pummel anyone to oblivion, as he spun around and came face to face with a strange being.
The being, at first glance was almost human, if you take away the fact that it had 4 eyes. With white hair and a skin tone similar to that of a body which has lost all of it's blood, it looked fairly inhumane. Dressed in a business suit that seemed impeccable, it had it's hand stretched towards the thing he assumed was the Universe.
"And you are?", Jotaro asked, almost threateningly.
The being laughed when it was asked the question as it simply answered.
"Your species are truly hilarious. Asking me something that you already know of. In a way, you could say. I. am. You."
Jotaro's eyes widened as his massive frame shook in disbelief. The being simply pointed to himself.
"I am Jonathan. I am Joseph. I am Dio. Josuke. Giorno. Kakyoin. Polnareff. Jolyne. Pucci. Anyone you know of ; I am them. From the mightiest galaxies to the smallest microorganisms, I created all of them. You could say that they are all different facets of myself. I am known as the Creator."
Jotaro stared at the being — Creator now – cautiously.
"And why are you showing yourself before me? Don't you have anything better to do? And where am I?". Jotaro shot off his questions.
Creator looked at him amused, of how Jotaro was trying to keep his cool.
"Well the thing is, I can't show you my true form otherwise you would simply cease to exist when you glimpse it, for the second question – I am here to inform you about something and the third question – you are in the gap between universes."
Jotaro gasped when he received that information.
"What? Gap between universes? I thought I was going back to my original dimension after defeating DIO." He said, terrified.
The Creator's amused face vanished, when he heard the reply from Jotaro.
"Really, Jotaro? You and DIO were fighting in an arena constructed by Over Heaven DIO, in void space and both of you were fighting with abilities that can rewrite realities. Did you really expect it to have no consequence on the universe whatsoever?". The Creator voiced dryly.
Jotaro clenched his fist and asked, "What happened?".
Creator looked at him directly in the eye and answered back.
"Your universe as well as the entire multiverse connected to your reality as been eradicated by the power of Over Heaven. You are the sole survivor so too speak because of your own ability to rewrite reality."
Sweat poured down Jotaro's forehead when heard that news. His fists clenched tightly, the nails breaking his skin and drawing blood as he received the truth.
'Its my fault. Instead of finishing DIO quickly I played aroun—'.
Creator stopped his line of thought.
"Stop blaming yourself. Most of this was caused by DIO and his Stand. He thought he had fully understood the power of his Stand but he was wrong. You did cause some damage, but it was negligible since you had just learned about it during the fight." The Creator explained.
But Jotaro wasn't listening.
He now really is the final Joestar alive.
"Well enough of this." The being sighs impatiently. "The reason I brought you here well – you of course want all of your family back, don't you?".
Jotaro eyes the alien with contempt, as if it is speaking something sacrilegious.
"All of my family back?" He parroted. "You mean as an undead!" His fist creaked under pressure.
"My man, you need to chill." The Creator placated the teenager. "Did you forgot what my name is? If I want to I can create a whole new universe from scratch with all the shenanigans your world offers."
The only human present there just narrows his eyes. He was totally not fooled by the fact that to undertake something of this scale, the alien would want to have something back in return.
"You need my help with something, right? That's the only reason you are proposing something like this. Am I wrong?" He bluntly asked the thing.
The grin, that the entity gave was all he needed to confirm his answer.
"Well, its not like I need your help, it's just that I need you to win something." The Creator slyly answered.
"Win something? What do I need to win?" Jotaro questioned.
The Creator crookedly smiles, before he snaps his fingers and the darkness in which they stood exchanged to that of a view of a familiar planet from space.
"Yes, this is Earth but a very different one than you know of", The being says swiftly, before Jotaro could ask anything. "This universe is special in a way. This world here once had its own Age of Gods that your world lacked after which it ended and the Age of Man started. I want you to go here and win a war."
"Win a w-war?!", Jotaro could not believe it's words. His eyes narrowed and he hit back, "If you are an omnipotent being then why don't you go yourself and win it?".
"An excellent question", It said, amused before sighing. "The thing is Jotaro, even though I am the creator of various universes, I can't interact with them directly. Sure indirectly is enough most of the time, like sending an asteroid or causing a solar flare to annihilate a species but direct interfering is not possible."
Jotaro's look of uncertainty does not disappear.
"Well enough of about that. The war I want you to win is called as a Holy Grail War. The Grail is a wish granting device that can grant any wish of the winner even if it is outlandish as hell. In this war, the Grail itself will choose a master who has to compete with other six masters to win the Holy Grail. Every master will be given a companion or servant in the form of a hero of the old who maybe summoned as one of the seven classes – Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Berserker and Assassin. All you have to do is win the Grail war and hand over the Holy Grail to me. Do this and I will recreate your universe."
Jotaro took all of the information in as he pondered in whether to trust this thing or not.
"And if you are thinking about if it is a good idea to trust me then maybe I should show you something." Spoke the Creator as he lifted up his hand and a multitude of different colored lights burst forth and revolved around him.
'That is!' Jotaro's body froze, at what he sensed.
"Yes, all of the souls connected to the Joestar bloodline." The creator smiled even though it was lopsided. "Complete the task and I will give this to you as well, as a bonus."
And just like that, Jotaro nodded his head in affirmation. For the family that he has lost. He will do anything to recover them from their fate.
"Fine. I will do it. Just don't go back on your promise." He said.
He knew that right now, the entity was the one to hold all the cards and he had none of his own. The entity smiles widely as it waves it's hand around and suddenly a small pocket book is in it's hand.
"This notebook will help you to get around the new world and will explain just what iteration of the war your fighting in. This will also include the people you need to be wary of and the words needed for the summoning ritual." The being utters, excitedly.
Jotaro simply sighs and takes the book from the being.
"So, good bye, Jotaro. I hope the next time we meet, you will be with the Holy Grail!" The being exclaims.
With that, Jotaro's world darkens as he muttered.
"Yare Yare Daze."
So here is another idea I had when writing the second chapter of "New World".
Me and my friends had a great discussion that took enormous amounts of time (It only took 2 hours) on whether I should write a JJBA crossover with Fate or Puella Magi Madoka Magica (I confess I haven't watched PMMA) and Fate won.
I am sorry if Jotaro seems OOC here but he kinda just lost his family here.
This is the only chapter that will be huge as I want to complete the interaction with Jotaro and Creator in one chapter.
