A Grimm intro. Toying around with an intro.
Suspense
Characters: Rosalee, her Grandkids
...
We hear the familiar voice of a older woman telling her grandchildren a bedtime story. It's their one of their favorites. It's "The Little Bludbad and The Grimm."
She finishes with "And then, the Grimm chopped off their heads!"
Of course children are curious "Grandma - isn't uncle Nick a Grimm".
"Well yes Rosalind."
"He wouldn't chop off Michael's head would he?"
Grandma smiles "No, not Uncle Nick - but not all Grimms are good. Many Grimms don't know which Wesen are good and which are bad. So they hunt them all."
Frank feels a little too old this and interjects with". "Why would they hunt us?"
And Grandma Rosalee answers "Well, not all Grimms know you. Some Wesen are very bad as well. Remember last night I told you the story of the angry Bludbad who eats Fuschbau children".
Frank pops in with "Yes Grandma! The Grimm chopped off his head!"
But Grandmother Rosalee knows the truth. These are the stories we tell the children. These stories were all centered around teaching important truth. But reality includes things Grandmothers do not tell their children. Those are the stories that tell of terror hunting you in the black night and how one wishes that your own nightmares would catch you and grant you sweet release from the truth - which was far worse.
The truth, though, has things worse than death. It's better to leave your dear grandchildren with "And the Grimm chopped off his head!"
