After the students of 1-A graduated the LOV went underground, no one saw any of their members for 6 years. Villain attacks were on the low for those 6 years. Heroes were almost not needed and people were happy. Until the night of February 16th.
"Katsuki, you need to sleep." Eijiro whispered from his seat on the left side of the white hospital bed.
Katsuki was laying in the hospital bed with a baby girl, swaddled in a yellow blanket, laying in his arms. "So do you, Ei, but I don't see you sleeping."
Eijiro chuckled quietly, so he wouldn't wake up his 3 year old son that lay in his lap. "Maybe, but I'm only awake to make sure you two are safe."
Katsuki rolled his eyes. "Eijiro, villains are almost non-existent now. We're gonna be fine."
"You never know, it could happen."
"It won't." Katsuki insisted.
"Okay, but I'm staying awake until you're asleep."
Katsuki scoffed before giving Eijiro a small smile then shutting his eyes. "You better go to sleep."
"I will."
With that Katsuki drifted off to a peaceful sleep closely followed by Eijiro.
The two slept soundly, both children also snoozing away.
The room was silent, with the occasional snore coming from Eijiro, until the door opened.
The hinges creaked when the door slowly slid open. A woman, who looked like a nurse, walked in quietly as not to wake the sleeping patient and company.
Her flats quietly clacked on the white tiled floor, her blonde hair swayed from side to side with each step.
She stopped on the right side of the hospital bed, carefully looking down at the sleeping baby that lay next to her sleeping father. The woman softly caressed the side of the baby's face before lifting her out of the sleeping man's hold.
As soon as she held the sleeping baby in her arms, the 3 year old boy stirred awake.
Shi, the 3 year old child, was very aware and intelligent for his age. So, seeing his newborn sister being lifted out of his father's arms by a complete stranger, set off a few alarms in his brain.
His first instinct was to wake up his dads', which is exactly what he did.
"Daddy!!!" Shi yelled continuously, shaking Eijiro simultaneously.
The woman was slightly caught off guard by the action.
Eijiro groggily sat up, rubbing the sleep from his tired eyes. "What's up, bud?"
"The lady!" Shi frantically said, pointing to the woman in nurses clothing.
"Hm? That's just a nurse Shi, she's just taking care of your little sister. That's all." Eijiro had a smile on his face while lightly ruffling Shi's spiky black hair.
"Are you sure?" Shi asked with an uncertain tone. He trusted his dad, of course he did, but the blonde lady was a different matter. The blonde nurse simply gave off a weird aura, one that Shi did not like.
"Yes, I am. Why don't you just ask her yourself?" Eijiro yawned as he went to lay back down on the tiny sofa, that he most definitely did not fit on.
Before Shi could ask his question, the blonde woman tore off the blue mask she had adorned over her lips and nose. She breathed in through her nose quickly and then out through her mouth, a crazed smile falling over her pink lips.
"Guys!" The woman yelled.
3 men came into view, one slipping from the shadows and the others walking casually through the open door.
Eijiro sprung up from the couch, jumping into a protective stance, Shi was wide eyed behind his father's leg.
"D-daddy? Aren't they… I-isn't that…?" Shis trembling voice trailed off, his body shaking terribly.
"Eijiro?" Katsuki slowly sat up on the bed, his eyes bulging from his skull when he saw the 4 people that stood around them. "What the fuck!" He yelled.
"Shh, wouldn't want to wake the baby now, would you?" The blonde woman asked while holding a knife close to the baby's throat.
"The League…" Eijiro said quietly with wide eyes, his body hardening instantly.
"Yes, we left for a bit, but we're back. Happy?" A man with shaggy blue hair, red eyes, and terribly dry lips said. He wore a black hoodie, the hood over his head.
"Shut up, crusty! What the fuck do you want?!" Katsuki was still weak from giving birth the day before, he knew he couldn't be of much use, but he also wasn't going to sit on his ass while the villains in front of him killed a precious member of his family.
"What do we want?" Another man spoke, his spiky black hair hidden under the hood of his jacket. "First, for you to shut your angry pomeranian mouth. Second, to leave without killing a baby, if you wouldn't mind." Blue fire danced on the tips of his fingers while his eyes flashed in warning.
"There is no way in hell I am going to let you all take her." Katsuki growled.
"Welp! It's that or let your baby die in front of you!" A man in a suspicious mask said cheerfully.
"Yeah, you don't really have much choice." The black haired man spoke again.
"Like hell! I swear to god, Toga, if you hurt her, I won't hesitate to blow off your face!" Katsuki threatened. The blonde woman simply chuckled, knowing full well that he couldn't.
"Nice try, we know your quirk can't be used until a week after you give birth." The blue haired man, Shigaraki, stated.
Eijiro was going through scenarios in his head, he may not have been the brightest cookie in highschool, but his experiences have given him more knowledge about how fights usually play out.
They're going to have the upperhand as long as they have Kireina… If we move, she dies, but if we don't who knows what could happen.
The hero fought with himself in his head, he had Shi to protect, Katsuki, and somehow get his baby girl, Kireina, back to safety. There was no possible way to do that, he couldn't protect 3 people at the same time. And, of course, it didn't help that he was still weighed down by the sleep that clung to his body,
Shi stood clutching his father's pants, frozen in fear. He had watched videos on the LOV, how they attacked, how scary they could be. He couldn't do anything, his 3 year old body wouldn't be able to handle the injuries he would receive, and his quirk hadn't shown yet.
The situation was hopeless, all 3 of them knew that, but they couldn't just let the group take Kireina. Each possible outcome for their predicament was undesirable. They had lost hope, nothing could be done.
"Now, why don't you let up there. Red Riot." Dabi, the black haired man said.
Eijiro sheathed his quirk reluctantly.
"Good-" Dabi was cut off by the sound of electricity cracking, fire booming, and walls breaking.
"Ha! I may have been a fucking idiot in Highschool, but I'm not afraid to ask for their shitty help!!" Katsuki yelled from his position on the bed, holding up his phone to show them a group call that had just ended.
"Shit." Shigaraki said quietly.
"Damn, this baby can sleep through anything!" Toga yelled, astonished at how the sleeping child was still sleeping.
The four villains hadn't moved when five heroes bursted through the hospital wall.
The five heroes had angry expressions plastered on their faces.
"Put. Her. Down." A pink fluffy haired woman said, trying her best to be intimidating while wearing her teddy bear pajamas.
Another hero, a man with yellow hair, chimed in.
"You have nowhere to run!" He yelled, also trying to sound intimidating. He wore Disney pajamas, almost with pride.
"Actually…" A smokey man said, standing by the closed window. "That assessment would be incorrect."
"Kurogiri!!" Yoga yelled energetically.
"What took you so long?" Shigaraki said, annoyance evident in his voice.
"I apologize, I had the wrong coordinates…"
Before any of the heroes present could react, Kurogiri spread portals over his fellow villains. The black holes enveloped them, leaving nothing behind, taking all of them, baby included.
"Fuck!" Katsuki yelled, tears welling up in his eyes, his voice breaking.
Eijiro had Shi in his arms as he let silent tears fall from his eyes.
The other heroes had wide eyes that morphed into angry expressions.
"I will kill all of them and find her if it's the last thing I do!" Katsuki yelled as tears slid down his face.
