Also notice Annabeth hasn't called Percy seaweed brain yet? That's how you know she's really mad. Yes, I am proud I just realised that on my own story. Shut up. Also, I ship Jason and the bricks. It's a love that will never end.
Annabeth's pov:
"He's awake!" Percy called from where Leo had sat on the ship. While the boys were unconscious me Percy, Frank, Hazel and Piper turned over the ship. (Yes, the girls helped in case you were wondering). Percy and I were on better terms now because we supposedly worked better in life or death situation than situations with emotions. Well that was that. We had mutually upgraded our status to friends (A/N: ill shut up soon I swear it's just their friendship is like their friendship in the Sea of Monsters so yeah. Also, without the seaweed brain. If that makes sense) which was getting somewhere. I walked over to where Leo was sitting looking horrible. Percy knelt by the right side of Leo with an ambrosia square in his hand.
"Here." he said giving it to Leo. He took it gratefully.
"Leo..." I said slowly, kneeling to his left, my blonde curls bouncing on my shoulders. A look of fear flashed across his eyes before concealing it with a goofy grin.
"Why did you almost try to kill us."
"uh. I-I don't know."
"You mean you don't remember?" I said unusually calm. I figured it was the easiest tactic to scare the living crap out of Leo. Wow I could be mean sometimes then again, he did just try to kill us.
"No, I do remember. Its fuzzy. Like like someone else was doing it and I was watching."
"Leo you do realise we could've died right?"
"Annabeth! We need you!" Piper shouted interrupting my conversation with Leo. I ran down stairs to the med bay to where piper was siting clasping Jason's hand. "He's waking up."
I took a square of ambrosia out of the cupboard by the stairs.
"Wha-what. OH CRAP." I turned to see Jason bending over clutching his head. I winced. After effects. I gave him a sqaure of Ambrosia and he ate it gratefully.
-line break-
"So, what do you want us to do again?" I said leaning back in my chair at the head of the table.
"Well you landed the ship in a perfect area with quite a lot of luck, so there are only a few minor repairs excluding the fact that the aerial oars have to be fixed. But we need some tar, lime and we don't have that. We also need a big sheet of celestial bronze. Good news is that we have both of those things near us!"
"And you want us..." Percy said waving a piece of pizza in the air.
"Um well we need some of you guys to protect the ship and another group to go get the lime and tar. I'll go-"
"Limes? Like the citrus fruit?" Asked Frank looking extremely puzzled.
"Bro, lime. Calcium carbonate, used in cement and a bunch of other things. Don't worry Annabeth should know what I'm talking about."
I nodded. I had read about it in some text book when I was younger.
"So, me and Piper will go get the Lime and Tar. Percy Frank, Jason and Coach will stay on board-"
"Wait I want to come do something." Jason protested.
"No. You're staying on the ship to get better." Piper put her hand on her boyfriend's arm. I felt happy for them. They deserved to be together.
"But I wanna-" Jason started before Percy interrupted him.
"Dude, Annabeth won't let me leave the ship and I'm not even injured! You stand no chance arguing against her she's as stubborn as Heck." He looked straight into my eyes his expression suddenly serious. He took a deep breath and started "And if you do something that was wrong, and you both know it, you'll make her mad, if you make her mad, she'll be hurt and it'll hurt you to see her distraught, so if you ever hurt her apologise and let her know you really mean it and hope she'll be able to forgive you someday. Because you would still like to be friends with her maybe best friends again someday. And let Annabeth Chase know she can take as long as she needs and you'll wait for her. Even if you're not dating her anymore." He looked back at Jason putting a goofy grin on his face and running a hand through his hair. "Plus, she's scary."
I would've laughed like my friends did but I was too struck by what he said to do anything more than stare at him, my mouth open. He had caught me off guard and I'm guessing he knew it by that smug expression he had portrayed on his face. Did he just say sorry? I mean he obviously did but I never expected true feelings from Percy Jackson. He said he'd wait for me. I hoped he meant it.
"Annabeth!" Leo waved a hand in front of my face. "What were you saying before we were interrupted by *cough cough* Tantrums *Cough cough* and *cough cough* confessions of what was that a confession of friendship? *cough cough*"
I punched his arm playfully. "I was saying Percy, Frank, Jason and Coach stay and tidy the ship and protect it. Leo and Hazel go get the celestial bronze."
"Fair enough." Leo said. "Though it's been a long day. Someone take night shift because we can't fly or move, at that, right now. Well we can fly just a bit but we don't need to right now. Tomorrow we'll get the stuff."
"One more thing." Piper stated. All eyes in the room shifted to her. "What possessed Leo?"
"It was a ghost of some kind. An Eildon I'm sure of it. I met a few when... You know." Hazel said.
When I'd been dead. Was probably what she wanted to say.
"Alright then." I got up "I'm going to bed. Today's been... Eventful."
"Eventful is an understatement." Percy muttered.
A/N: Yes, all these chapters has been one day. Shocking. I hope I've made you go through an emotional roller-coaster. I sure put myself through one writing this. The next chapters are definitely going to be fun I've written down ideas for them. Sorry for repeated speech I've been tracking Moa to keep with the events may be changing them to keep in check with the story. Please review!
