After leaving the portal Luz and the others found themselves in a cluttered bedroom.
"Take it that this is your room," said Eda as she poked a zombie head.
"Would have cleaned up if I knew I was bringing friends over," said Luz as she moved some stuff out of the way.
"Whoa, that's not good," said Willow as she looked out the window and noticed dozens of demons walking around like mindless drones.
"Why aren't they coming in here?" asked Gus as he joined her.
"I put a barrier up around the house when I got back from the Boiling Isles, just in case something happened," said Luz as they left her room and went downstairs.
"Hm, you keep your nick nacks in weird places," said Eda as she looked around.
"Eda, nothing you have ever called something you tried selling was right," said Luz.
"You mean that this is not a lava shield?" asked Eda as she pointed to an umbrella by the front door.
"It's for going outside when it rains, and Earth does not have boiling rain like the Isles do," said Luz.
"Wait, you never told me about boiling rain," said Camilia as she looked at her daughter with that 'what else have you not told me about,' expression only a mother could give.
"I didn't tell you about it and a lot of other things because I didn't want to worry you," said Luz with a nervous expression.
"Oh, you are in so much trouble," said Camilia.
