Regina didn't really know what had happened to her. Ever since the eternal winter ( and the ice witch ) came to Storybrooke, she felt weird, as if she had lost her will to live. Well, maybe it wasn't to that extent, but it was some sort of a sadness, a groggy feeling. This new character arrived once again thanks to Emma who had brought her back from another world, the town was disturbed again. Maybe that was what annoyed Regina each time she saw this ice witch. She knew she was a queen, but she chose to ignore it most of the time. Why ? She had no idea. Maybe because she still had a little bit of the Evil Queen's sassiness in her ?

Or because she was a new person. Regina hated new people. When Emma came to town, she didn't like her. Now she tolerated her most of the time. That was a big progress. But this ice witch, she knew she wouldn't stay for long. After the sister was found, they would have to return to their realm and they would disappear from their lives forever ! This thought strangely filled Regina with joy. No, she was not being evil. She was normal, and normal people who had their life disturbed more than one wanted to have a calm life afterwards, without any other visitor to destroy the town. What already came was quite enough. Regina began pacing in her mansion. Where was Emma ?

She was probably out searching the missing sister of the ice witch with the latter. Henry came into the room, wanting Regina to help him with his homework. She accepted to help, but her mind wasn't quite concentrated on what she was supposed to be doing. And it showed. Henry noticed it. He put a hand on her forehead, asking if maybe she was sick. After all, it was cold outside because of the ice witch. She said that she was fine. But she couldn't do this anymore. She told him to maybe ask Emma for help for the homework, it would be quicker. She hadn't even understood what subject it was.

She then went into her kitchen, deciding to make a cake for dinner. She thought of inviting Emma, but she suddently remembered having tried to do so the night before. Emma had refused , for the first time ever, even though Regina had told her she had made lasagna, which she knew was the blonde woman's favorite. Regina felt Emma distancing herself from her, and because of that, a weird feeling had awoken inside her. Was it sadness ? Because her friend had found a new friend ? It was ridiculous. She, a former evil queen, didn't have these kind of feelings which for her were related to a fight between two friends in a middle school. Not to two adults, well, maybe just one because sometimes Emma was more like a big child. Regina failed to do the recipe correctly because of her thoughts being all over the place.
