Regina was cold. Regina was hungry. Regina regretted to have left her coffee all alone on the counter of Granny's. And she had been walking for only five minutes. What an adventurer she was ! She should have taken with her the guide to walk in the high mountains ! Groaning every few steps because her shoes were hurting her feet, she continued down the snowy path which was running between the trees. Everything was silent. The birds were not singing. Strange, but weirdly calming for Regina. Okay, so where were they ? She took out her phone, trying to call Emma. Obviously, Snow had already tried that, but she wanted to try it. She didn't get an answer. She sighed and continued to walk. She had changed her shoes ever since she snow had begun to fall, but these shoes were not mountain shoes. She did not have shoes that were not elegant, and elegant shoes did not fare well in the snow and in the bad paths of the woods.
She soon arrived in a clearing. She didn't see anything. But she heard a small noise. Looking more carefully, she finally saw a blue thing in the distance. She went there and she found the ice witch. She was stuck in a powerfull spell. When she saw Regina, she explained to her that she had crossed paths with her aunt who had powerfull ice powers like hers. The aunt had apparently taken Emma with her. She asked Regina to free her. Regina said that she didn't know how to do it at first, then she freed her, remembering that this ice witch could help her free Emma from the older ice witch. She would be a bait as Regina freed Emma. Or maybe they could defeat the aunt together with Emma. They had always worked together in the past, at least until the ice witch came here with all this snow. Regina sneezed. She hated the cold ! Why did it have to be snow ! She watched as the ice witch stood up, and she followed her on the path. More than half an hour later, which was way too long for Regina who was now litteraly freezing, they found Emma and the aunt. Emma was laying in the snow. She could be unconcious or worse. Regina couldn't see, she was too far.
The aunt saw them in a second. But Regina sent her a spell that immobilized her. She was quicker than her. Plus the ice witch had sent a spell of hers which had helped Regina to attack while the aunt was distracted. She let the ice witch attack her aunt again while she ran to an unmoving Emma. She shook her. Emma was seemingly frozen.
