Emma awoke a little after a few seconds. She was trembling. She tried to talk to Regina, but the latter told her to not do it and to rest. She had already lived way too much things for today. But Emma seemed to be agitated. Her eyes widened. Regina wasn't sure what she wanted to tell her exactly. Suddently, she felt something powerful in the air. The next second, she was projected a few meters away. Fortunately, Elsa put snow on the ground for Regina not to get hurt when she fell. Regina was still chocked by the fall, but she could have been way more hurt than that. She thanked Elsa, but then, the ice witch showed her something. She realized that the aunt, had taken Emma with her, and that she held Emma in the air. Emma gasped for air. She was choking ! Regina got back to her feet in a second, getting angry. She hadn't really felt angry like that for years. The last time she had gotten angry, she had been the Evil Queen. She wasn't her anymore. But she still could get angry when the situation called for it.
She figured Emma being held captive by this ice idiot was a pretty good reason to get angry. Elsa was seemingly looking for a way to stop her aunt, but she couldn't find any. The aunt held Emma, and they couldn't risk anything happening to the blonde. Coming closer could cause her death. In the end, Regina and Elsa decided to make a distraction. Elsa went on one side, and the aunt looked at her. Regina thn began to run towards the ice idiot. She couldn't use magic because Emma was too close to her target. But she could still use her fists ! She hurled her fist in the aunt's face, hitting her stronger than she thought she would. The aunt fell. Her nose was bleeding. She held her nose. Emma was released, she fell in the snow. Regina ran to her side, checking if she was still alive. She was. She could feel her pulse under her fingers.
Regina cast a spell to bring her warmth again. Then she helped the ice witch to end the aunt, putting her into a magic jar of which the ice witch had escaped. Regina then took Emma in her arms, teleporting them to her mansion. She was exahsted when they arrived, having used way too much magic at once. Teleporting from far away was dangerous for a witch. But she didn't want Emma to keep being in the cold, so she had hoped she wouldn't be too exhausted to take care of Emma.
As soon as they arrived, Regina forced herself to take Emma to her couch, laying her down on it. Then she lit the fireplace. The couch was just near it. She brought all the blankets she had in the house. She then called Snow who was really happy to know that her daughter was fine. She said she would come in the afternoon. Regina decided to take a nap and to wait for Emma to wake up. She knew that what had happened couldn't have hurt Emma, except maybe if she caught a cold. She had analyzed Emma's magic with hers, and everything seemed to be fine. The young woman wasn't hurt either. She had been so scared ! They had never really been in a situation where she almost lost her blonde friend to a villain like that. The cold was such an incertain thing ! With spells, she could work. With the cold, it was more difficult. She couldn't be sure of anything. Regina went to sleep, exhausted.
Emma woke up several hours later, waking Regina up with a loud sneeze. The latter fell from the chair she fell asleep on, making Emma laugh. Regina then threatened Emma to change her into a mouse and to put her out in the snow. That calmed Emma pretty quickly. She thanked Regina for what she had done, and she even hugged her. Regina didn't feel like this was too much like it would have been if Snow had hugged her like that. No, it was perfect.
