RWBY & KILL LA KILL Fanfiction Crossover: Ruptured Dust Chapter 1 - Welcome To The Jungle
(DISCLAIMER: I own absolutely nothing, RWBY is the property of the Late Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth and KILL LA KILL is owned by Studio TRIGGER)
First things first, this is set just after Volume 5 of RWBY and at the start of Episode 1 of KILL LA KILL (I've always loved that your meant to use full capital letters for either series), at the time I first started writing this up Volume 5 had just finished and I haven't come back to write much else since...I really hope I do continue this story but I deeply apologize otherwise.
Also, this is the first fanfiction I've written so...yeah...can't believe after all this time I've finally written something...well let's see how this goes (also I may have done a lot of description at times...you'll see what I mean)
This would be the second time Weiss has woken up in a place she didn't recognise. The first being waking up in a cage back at Raven Branwen's bandit camp where she spent a brief period of time before unexpectedly running into Yang, whose…unusual mother-daughter relationship with said bandit leader got them out in one piece.
She was hoping that after fighting off Salem's cronies, getting impaled by a SPEAR and then having to be then saved by Jaune who miraculously gained his semblance during the time she was BLEEDING to death, Yang retrieving the relic and finally reuniting with Blake who happened to be there leading an army of Faunus against the White Fang (it was quite the surprise learning there had been an army outside the entire time) she had hoped to have ONE nights rest before heading off to Atlas (the SAME place she left in the first place to get away from her father) to continue looking for the remaining Maidens and Relics.
However, it looked like Weiss wouldn't be allowed any such request and she just HAD to find herself falling asleep in her temporary bed in Mistral to waking up in a dirty abandoned alleyway along with her recently reunited teammate Blake who was just as clueless on how they ended up there as she was.
As well as finding their weapons, change of clothes, a reasonable dust supply for two people and their scrolls (which after some short frustrating and alarming attempts the pair found out didn't work besides showing their aura) they had found a bright emerald coloured envelope with an anonymous note addressed to both of them inside that read;
Dear Mrs Belladonna and Mrs Schnee, it might be an obvious assessment of current events but both of you have no idea where you are and why you have found yourselves in an alleyway of all places. I will admit I had a hand in this and my reasons for the time being must be left currently unanswered which I know the two of you would not appreciate in the slightest.
However, your feelings towards me aside I must address where you are and also why you find yourselves in this alleyway, to answer the first question to put it lightly you are very far away from Mistral and also Remmant for that matter. You're in a place where no one has heard of Remnant or Aura, the Creatures of Grimm are non-existent and people only know of the type of Dust which floats around and causes hay fever.
To put it even more...bluntly the planet you're on is called Earth which has many different continents, countries, cultures and customs, this country being called Japan. Now the reason why you are here is to attend a school by the name of Honnōji Academy (which I have put the correct forms and etc in this envelope), this Academy is not like most schools and is especially no Beacon Academy to say the least.
If you wish to find the answers to why you find yourselves in a world not your own and find a way back to your own world (which I know you will), go to Honnōji Academy and you will be able to achieve just that. The reason why you must go to this Academy is because of a very simple reason...because this task is something that will require your skills as Huntresses, why you two in particular were chosen is due to reasons you will soon find out over time.
Kind regards and best wishes,
Your...friendly, anonymous and totally not suspicious benefactor
P.S While Humans do populate this world Faunus on the other hand are a very different matter, since they don't exist here at all. So to avoid...unwanted attention I have included a bow in this envelope along with the earlier mentioned Honnōji Academy forms to make sure this is not an issue for Mrs Belladonna.
Finding out that she had woken up in another world altogether without knowing how she got there in the first place and not knowing of a way back to Remnant was not what Weiss wanted to deal with first thing in the morning after last night's events.
There were so many unanswered questions; How were they here?! Was there a way back!? Who is this person?! What is so special about this Honnōji Academy!? And how did they even know about Blake being a Faunus?! (Well actually Blake wasn't wearing her bow at the time, so it wasn't really hidden at the time) After much discussion (and arguing (a lot of arguing)) with Blake it was decided that the only place they knew of now to answer all their questions, even though Weiss didn't like the idea of going along with this 'benefactor' was Honnōji Academy.
Which brings Weiss to Blake and Her current situation, finding themselves taking a monorail all the way up to said Academy's front doorstep… a very large threatening doorstep. Honnōji City itself was a large pyramid-like structure built upwards like a pointed hill with a road leading into the city and also looped around to allow people to get to the more higher locations.
The other way was having to start at the bottom and drive up a very steep hill though it looked to have been made more accessible either way and there was the monorail system (which was taking them to up to Honnōji Academy) built at the bottom as well, with multiple stops on the way to the top where the Academy resided.
Also at the bottom of the mountain-like city where many dingey looking houses, shacks, stores and small apartments put together by random woods and metals nailed into place that made the area of the city look similar to slums she noted...actually they were technically slums.
Higher up the mountain-like structure, a wall stood dividing the slums from a bunch of tall white apartment blocks that looked much cleaner and well maintained. A second wall was found beyond that section of the city to another that looked as if there were multiple private mansions each looking much different from the other.
A very noticeable design that kept the rich living in their mansions and kept the poor living in their slums well away. "Some things never change..." Weiss thought to herself ticked off but also slightly guilty knowing what her living conditions had been for most of her life.
On the way up to the academy she had a very large suspicion that the school would be much worse than any place in this city and she confirmed her suspicion as soon as she and Blake reached the the entrance to the school was barbed wire with bits and bobs in random spots though there was a clear entrance way leading to the entrance.
The entrance was a large grey wall, completely surrounded by the school that was located in the middle of the giant circular wall. There was an entrance in the wall where they stood that led into a giant dirt courtyard surrounding the school itself that was completely white with random red lines going down certain walls of the school.
Parts of the Academy on the right and left side were taller than in the middle, with windows dotting the walls which were most likely (and hopefully) classrooms Weiss assumed and a staircase that led up into the building at the front entrance.
While the middle walls were lower and had a weird eye and eyebrow looking shape plastered on it, with the entrance into the building below the center of the eyes. And finally shooting out of the middle of the building was a tall lean tower with a glass lookout room at the top that Weiss couldn't see what was inside of it but it reminded her of how Professor Ozpin had his office at the tallest part of Beacon in the clock tower which had clockwork parts all over the place moving around as he would sit at his desk looking over Beacon drinking out of his usual coffee mug.
As Weiss thought about what exactly they would look for here she felt a sudden hand placed on her shoulder. Weiss tensed before a voice commented "Weiss you might want to take a look up."
Weiss relaxed looking behind her to see it was Blake but confused as to what she was referring to and why there was such an angry look on her face, so Weiss decided to oblige her and immediately regretted it.
Hanging there by ropes tied to his wrists was a heavily beaten up naked boy around their age, who had brown large curly head and was slightly big in the stomach and had a wooden sign covering his… private region with weirdly shaped black lettering on it that the duo had discovered earlier was the writing in this country.
As Weiss looked at the bruised victim in anger and fear wondering what did this person do exactly to deserve such punishment she overhead a zipper and turned to see Blake looking through a large black duffle bag they decided to carry with them.
The reason behind why they were carrying the bag was to carry around the supplies given to them by their "benefactor" along with their respective weapons since both of them agreed that while carrying around their weapons in Remnant was allowed due to their occupation as Huntresses, carrying such weapons around here on Earth was another story altogether.
So the two decided they would carry them around in the duffle bag and take turns carrying it around until they found a place they knew was safe enough to leave their stuff and find another method to carrying around their weapons as well.
Weiss groaned as she put a hand to her head, they'll have to worry about that later because right now they had other things to worry about.
"What are you looking for?" Weiss asked curiously.
"I was looking for this" Blake replied with a small smile on her face as she picked up and held up a green and black handbook. "I found this at a store in the slums we passed that sold them and recognised one language was similar to the one we use on Remnant as well as the language used here"
"So it's a translation book..." Weiss responded, nodding approvingly about Blake's prepapranace as she looked back but suddenly stopped as she thought of something and whipped her head back to Blake.
"Blake how did you get that book?" she inquired with her arms crossed. "Better yet, how did you get that book when we have no form of local currency on us?"
"You could just say money or lien, local currency is kind of a mouthful" Blake pointed out before thinking out loud. ."..though I doubt the currency here is called lien…"
"Blake did you steal the translation book." Weiss bluntly asked.
"No, I am an experienced veteran when travelling to different worlds and brought the form of local currency as you so put it with us beforehand..." Blake replied bluntly and sarcastically. "...of course I stole it"
"Blake!" Weiss yelled.
"How was I supposed to get the book and I already feel bad about it besides we really needed these books-book." Blake caught herself not so smoothly as intended , as Weiss then gave her a look before Blake sighed. "Fine I took two since I knew you would need one as well" sliding out the other translation book Blake had conveniently hidden behind the other.
Weiss's unscared eye twitched a bit before sighing and putting her hand out as Blake put one of the books in her hand as Weiss took a look over her recently acquired book seeing it was an exact replica of Blake's copy, as Blake started looking through and glancing back at the sign so she could translate what exactly the writing apparently called "kanji" said.
"Ok I've translated what it says…"Blake says with wide eyes before frowning after looking over what the kanji translates to. "It reads "This is a naked pig who dared to defy Honnōji Academy, justice has been served"..."
Weiss's eyes went wide shocked as she took a glance back at the strung up boy, thinking up the many possible conclusions to what this boy did to receive such punishment, did he steal something of importance, kill a student, was he a spy or did he just upset the wrong people but Weiss stopped herself and decided to focus back at the situation at hand.
"What exactly did he do to deserve this…" Weiss wondered out loud shocked, before she urgently looked back at Blake. "Should we let him..."
"No." Blake interrupted, instantly shaking her head with a sad look on her face as she closed up the duffle bag and slung it over her shoulder.
"What do you mean…" Weiss shouted back instantly, shocked.
"While the punishment is incredibly cruel we don't know what he did to deserve this and could be much worse of crime than what you're thinking" Blake replied interrupted Weiss with a frustrated but somber look. "Also we might have to deal with repercussions from the people who put him up there and we only just arrived. We still need to figure out what's going on here first." Blake sighed before glancing one last time before walking towards the entrance.
"We can only hope that someone takes him down, since he's still alive at the moment… I can hear him breathing" Blake looked back at Weiss while pointing to the top of her head where her Fanus heritage was hidden beneath Blake's signature black bow.
Weiss looked at Blake before catching up to walk right beside her. "Blake…" Weiss asked but hesitated before continuing. "You've seen stuff like this before… haven't you?"
Blake keeps walking alongside Weiss but gives her glance. "Yes… I've seen the White Fang do this to countless humans and also fanus who betrayed the White Fang" Blake informed Weiss with a rather downcast look. "And it's a terrible awful thing to do to anyone...but there is still much more we still need to know about what's up with this school and if we want to find out what's going on and see if we need to stop anything in this place.." Blake looks at Weiss with a determined look before saying. "..our first order of business is getting to class on time."
Weiss looks at Blake for a few moments, sweat dropping before questioning Blake asking. "You know after saying all that serious stuff about your previous occupation I was expecting something a bit more…" and made a gesture with her arms invasizing a large object.
"Weiss if we want to look for a way home and find out why we've been sent here in the first place and why this place in particular.." Blake explains while interrupting Weiss. "Our only option at the moment is to attend the school...as much as I hate having no choice in the matter...also I think Ruby has positively rubbed off on you Ice Queen." Blake finished with a small grin.
"Hey!" Weiss shouted miffed at the statement, before smiling sadly thinking about her partner and their… energetic team leader. "Besides...that dolt would be way more enthusiastic… Anyway, I hope that whatever we have to do here will be over quickly" Weiss commented seriously and also annoyed how they are being forced into doing this.
Weiss then smirked realising something. "And it also seems that Yang has rubbed off on you too, don't you agree?" Remembering the Ice Queen comment.
Blake then looked confused before giving a horrified look at Weiss and then a very serious deadly expression. "If you ever tell Yang I said tha…"
"Of course I won't " Weiss rolled her eyes, interrupting Blake, as Weiss thought back on the many things she had been through with Blake, Ruby and Yang. Initiation, the encounter at the docks, the Breach, the Vytal Festival and the eventual fall of Beacon which led to team RWBY's separation and then even after her escape from Atlas and being kidnapped, they all fought and met up again at Haven.
And there is still so much she and Blake have left to do along with their team, friends and allies to stop Salem with there still being the Relics and Maidens out there somewhere in Remnant. "But we aren't on Remmant anymore," Weiss thought, sighing. "And by oum I hope that we finish up on Earth soon...or Salem might already have won" Then she realised something as they arrived at the front entrance steps.
"Blake do you know where we're going?" Weiss questioned suddenly just coming to a realisation on how they would find their classroom and the location of said classroom as well. Blake stopped, looked at Weiss and bluntly replied.
"...I plan to look for the directory or front desk or something" Blake then gave Weiss a look raising an eyebrow and asked "...let me guess you were expecting me to as you put it something a bit more" Blake made the same gesture Weiss made with her arms earlier, while smirking.
"Whatever happened to you being the silent, anti-social, moody, bookworm!" Weiss asked, smirking but annoyed.
"Whatever happened to you being the over-confident, stuck up, know-it-all, bitch?" Blake asked, still smirking.
"HEY! I WASN'T THAT BAD!"
"No, just a little bit difficult to deal with"
"Well you just quoted Yang again! She told me the exact same thing word to word!"
"...let's just get to class..."
"Will this guy hurry up and go through the introductions already since this has already starting to bore me" Ryuko thought to herself, as she stood at the front of her new "classroom", Class K. While the room was set up like a usual classroom with desks with Students sitting at each one besides three empty ones in the middle and a podium like desk at the front for the teacher to stand at with a chalkboard behind it, the rooms had some qualities that made it look… different to say the least.
The steel walls and door surrounding the room looked as if they were in a submarine, the roof had steel pipes of different sizes most running horizontally from where she was standing though a few were vertical. The only evidence showing that they weren't at the bottom of the sea was a window on the wall to Ryuko's right which looked over the giant courtyard at the entrance to Honnōji Academy.
It was quite obvious that this academy was much different then other schools Ryuko had seen but so far the only thing out of the ordinary she had noticed was the school's threatening appearance and the naked kid hung at the front entrance.
Hopefully she'll see what makes this school so different pretty soon because she had no time to sit around and keep her head down like the other students… she had to find the user of the other half of her father's scissor blade. And his Killer as well.
"Which is why this sunglasses wearing moron should hurry up already!" Ryuko thought as she gritted her teeth in frustration and annoyance.
"Sorry for the hold up everyone." the home class teacher mellowly said all of sudden, addressing the class. He had dark blue messy unkempt hair and stubble while wearing aviators that covered his eyes, he was skinny and looked to be middle aged. He wore a white button up shirt with a black tie and black pants to complete his average looking appearance, though it still brought up the question why he would wear sunglasses while indoors. "We're just waiting on two more transfer students who will be joining our class today!"
The class then muttered and whispered to each other after hearing this information, while Ryuko was surprised to find out she wasn't going to be the only student starting today she quickly brushed it off.
While unusual it doesn't mean that their amiditance to the school on the same day as her was on purpose, after all these two could be just be another addition to the schools numbers and hold no significance whatsoever.
As Ryuko was contemplating what she should do next there was a sudden knocking coming from the steel door.
"Come in." The teacher responded immediately, as the door opened in response.
"Sorry about not arriving earlier". Ryuko recognised that the voice was definitely female but couldn't see the voice's owner as well as the rest of the class. "But we had to get through some forms at the front desk and then find where the class was."
"It's an understandable reason so no need to apologize but try not to make a habit of it." The Home class teacher replied before muttering. "You don't want a visit from the disciplinary committee."
Ryuko raised an eyebrow in suspicion at her teacher's comment. Did the disciplinary committee do that to the student hung up at the front entrance? Another out of the ordinary occurrence at this academy.
"We'll have that in mind" The voice responded politely to the teacher. as the owner stepped through the door with another right behind them allowing Ryuko to get a good look at them.
So you know how Ryuko said that these transfer students were likely to be of no significance? Well she Immediately took that back after seeing exactly who these transfer students were in the first place.
The First girl who had talked earlier looked like a very well off princess-like albino. She had long white hair which was pulled into an off center bun tail on the right side that was pinned in place by an icicle shaped tiara, pale white skin and bright blue eyes with a crooked scar that ran vertically down her left eye and sapphire earrings.
She wore a short sparkling dress that changed gradually from a greyish blue to a pale blue at the hem with a white petticoat underneath and a heart-like neckline. The same colour as her dress was, a sheer long-sleeved shrug placed that was secured at her collar and had a snowflake symbol on her back, along with a large sapphire brooch with three pendants dangling from the collar.
To finish off her outfit she wore dark blue wedge heels, which made her a little bit taller than Ryuko but judging by the size of those heels Ryuko reckoned when she took those off it would be a different story.
The other girl who hadn't talked yet, looked like the albino's bodyguard or had some similar position. She had long black hair that went halfway down her back with a black ribbon tied into a large bow on the top of her head, she had fair skin and amber eyes with purple eyeshadow.
Her outfit consisted of a long white tailcoat that had a dark grey lining over a sleeveless black crop top that had diamond and rectangular shaped cutouts around her neckline.
She had a white belt that had pouch at the back, along with black fitted pants with thigh-high black heeled boots that had gold-coloured edging around the top, a belt was wrapped twice around the thigh of her left boot and lastly there was white flame-like symbol on the outer side of each boot.
She was much taller than her white haired companion and Ryuko herself and while her white haired companion had a polite simile and apologised to the teacher in a polite manner, the black haired girl wore a neutral look on her face as she observed the classroom around them and the students who whispered and muttered to each other about the unusually dressed transfer students in mixture of awe and fear.
What they were afraid of Ryuko could only guess but she heard some words thrown around like something about the uniform code, disciplinary committee and someone by name of Ira Gamagori who she could only assume was a big shot at this school.
Ryuko then noticed those amber eyes meet her own.
As Blake's eyes wandered the classroom as she waited for Weiss to finish up talking to their new "Home Teacher", her eyes landed on someone wearing something very different from the usual school uniform like Weiss and herself. Their reasons being while they were supplied with the needed documents and forms to be admitted students into Honnōji Academy, the school uniform that the other students wore weren't a part of the package.
They were told for the moment it was ok but that they should get their No-star uniforms in the future, when Blake asked the receptionist what exactly that meant they just waved her off and said they'll find out soon enough with a heavy look of sympathy on her face.
So it apparently seemed they weren't the only new students entering into this and apparently none of them knew at the time about the dress code...despite Blake and Weiss only learning about their admittance to the school a few hours ago while this other girl must have had her circumstances as well.
As Blake looked at the appearance of their fellow transfer student she definitely noticed that she looked much different then the other students, though Blake did consider Weiss and herself couldn't really talk since they both stood out as well when compared to the other students.
The girl had mid-length black hair that went just above her shoulders and had a single red highlight that swept to the left at the front and had blue eyes with gear shaped pupils which had eight grooves around the edges.
She wore an untucked white shirt and red ribbon tie with a black jacket that had white sleeves and a black line going down the middle with said sleeves rolled up. Her outfit was finished off with a black miniskirt and white sneakers.
The black and red haired girl definitely had quite a few traits that made her stand out such as her hair and eyes and overall she had the appearance of a delinquent but another thing that caught Blake's eye was what she carried.
On the girls back was a grey steel rectangular guitar case with one or two stickers placed on it that the gear shaped eyed girl had slung the strap over her shoulder.
While their was the possibility that this girl could be just carrying around her guitar, Blake got a very odd feeling while looking at the case and got a even higher level of suspicion when the multi-coloured haired girl took a step backwards and angled herself so her case couldn't be looked at more closely after noticing Blake was looking at it.
As the girl sent a hardened glare at Blake, Blake narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "This girl is definitely hiding something…" Blake thought to herself while sending a small half-hearted glare back at the girl."...whether or not this girl is apart of the reason why we were sent to Honnōji Academy is the main question…" Blake finished as she made a mental note to inform Weiss about this girl once class is over.
"Well anyway as you can probably see class we have three new students joining Class K today." The Home Teacher informed the class, after talking with Weiss and started writing down all their names on the board. "So Please Welcome Ryuko Matoi who has transferred into our class and also Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna who have also joined our class."
"Ryuko Matoi…" Blake thought in her head as she matched the name to the face of the now named Ryuko.
"Blake huh…" Ryuko smirked thinking to herself as she stared right back into Blake's eyes. "...you and your albino friend Weiss better watch out because if I find out you know anything...I will take both of you down!"
"Ok and now she's smiling..." Blake noted staring right back at Ryuko. "...well she ain't trying to be friendly that's for sure…"
"Ryuko! Ryuko!" A voice suddenly says excitedly, shocking Blake from her thoughts. "Here, sit here! This desk is free!"
Blake and Ryuko both turned to look towards the direction the voice originated from (which wasn't hard) and found the owner being a short girl with brown eyes and brown hair with a bowl/coconut like shape.
She also wore the standard uniform the other girls in class wore, consisting of a white short sleeved shirt along with a blue neckerchief and a blue miniskirt. While the girl was normal in appearance, she wore one of the largest smiles on her face Blake had ever seen that could only be matched by the likes of Nora and Ruby and seemed to be the only person in the classroom genuinely happy...Blake had a feeling describing this girl as normal would be far from the truth indeed.
"Man." Ryuko said out of nowhere in sight of surprise, gaining Blake's full attention as she saw Ryuko look at the enthusiastic girl.
"What?" Their Home room teacher asked, Blake noted mentally that she really should learn his name.
"That chick is spazzing out something fierce!" Ryuko commented.
"Not how I would say it but sure." Blake noted sarcastically, as Ryuko then looked at her.
"Why do I have the sudden feeling this girl would give Nora a run for her money…" Weiss mumbled under her breath.
"Oh that's how Makanshoku usually is, I guess that'll be your seat enjoy." The Home Room Teacher unenthusiastically replied to Ryuko and he then turned to Weiss and I. "You too can take those two empty seats behind them I guess as well."
"Thank you Mr Mikisugi." Weiss politely thanked giving a small bow. "Blake and I will also make sure next time that we arrive at class in time"
The now named Home room teacher Mikisugi nodded as he headed back to his chalkboard to rub our names off as we made our way to our seats. Just as they were seated the cheerful girl introduced herself.
"My name's Mako Makanshoku!" She said happily. "It's nice to meet you again and everything!" She then turned her head around to look at Weiss and I. "It's also nice to meet two as well!"
"You as well." Blake replied with a small smile as she sat down in a free seat, she couldn't help but be reminded of her more energetic friends by Mako's mannerisms..
"Pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Weiss also replied digilgantly and bowed slightly.
"Ooh fancy, you're just as fancy as your dress which makes you double fancy!" Mako exclaimed in awe.
"Sure..I guess." Weiss responded blinking, not expecting that kind of response as Blake leaned over slightly towards Weiss as she sat down next to Blake and whispered.
"I think you were right about her giving Nora a run for her money." Blake whispered, smirking.
"Time will tell." Weiss quitely commented to Blake, as Blake relaxed into her seat and noted the glance from Ryuko who had already sat in front of them next to Mako.
Ryuko then turned her attention to Mako, leaning back uncaringly into her chair.
"That kid the student council purged" Ryuko asked, gaining Blakes attention instantly she had a feeling she knew who Ryuko was talking about As Ryuko then lazily pointed to the side. "He the one out front?"
"Uh huh that kinda thing happens a lot around here.." Mako informed her with her finger to her mouth, proving Blakes suspicions true and exchanged a quick glance at Weiss to check if she heard the same and got a nod in response. Mako became cheerful again as she then waved her hand and face side to side cartoonishly. "Oh but don't worry you'll get used to it!"
"You make it sound so easy..." Blake commented sarcastically giving her another look from Ryuko but they were interrupted by a sudden small disgusted gasp from Weiss as they all looked to see Mako eating her lunch out of a bento box hidden behind a book put up to block the sight and ate everything inside faster than Ruby eats cookies and than fell asleep with a giant snot bubble coming out of her nose while snoring...
"She's asleep already!?" Ryuko exclaimed, shocked.
"..why can't people eat normally...why can't the people we meet be normal in first place…" Weiss mumbled grossest out.
Once the bell had rung not wanting to leave Weiss out in the dark much longer, Blake took her to a private location out in the courtyard, where nobody could overhear them so she could tell Weiss her suspicions about a singular red hair streak girl.
"So your sure whatever she's carrying around isn't a guitar?" Weiss questioned to confirm what Blake had just said.
"The way she glared at me and how defensively she carried herself said everything." Blake responded crossing her arms in thought. "Whether or not Ryuko is involved, I can't tell by one look at her but I just know she is definitely hiding something..."
"And she seems like such a lovely person." Weiss mumbled sarcastically before sighing and pinching the bridge of her nose. "I know I shouldn't judge from first appearance but she does look and seems to act like quite the delinquent."
"True...but whatever it is she knows we'll be sure to figure it out." Blake states determinedly getting a nod in response from Weiss.
"So what do we do now?" Weiss questions and then sarcastically says with her arms up slightly exaggerated. "Go up to her and ask what's in her case? And whether or not she has a guitar, submachine gun or chainsaw in it for that matter?"
Blake then looked at Weiss and nodded while walking away.
"Wait..I wasn't being serious!" Weiss shouted surprised as Blake heard the heiress hurriedly run to catch up and walk alongside her. "I'm sorry if it's not as obvious when you do it but I was being sarcastic!"
"Well I was." Blake informs knowingly just looking straight ahead. "We're not going to right out ask her, we just need to strike up a conversation and then come around to the topic of her guitar case. It'll seem like we're just trying to be friendly."
"Yeah, friendly, after the looks she gave us in class I'm sure she wants to be friendly!" Weiss whispered annoyed.
"Well she's not hostile" Blake responded.
Weiss just looked at Blake.
"Well only partially hostile..."
Blake looked up and saw Ryuko talking to Mako, who was standing on her backpack and singing into a banana while Ryuko tried to talk to her...Blake had just met Mako today but figured out this was 'normal' for her.
Weiss looked up raising an eyebrow. "Well hopefully Ryuko won't start anything with Mako and anyone else being there.."As she looked around and Blake saw what she was talking about with other students all over the place in the courtyard of the academy.
"True when someone starts something, they usually would want to be in a more private location …" Blake acknowledged, as they both neared the odd pair.
And just as they neared and saw Mako hop off her bag which then somehow landed in her hand. Mako gained a sudden look of panic. "Woah look out Ryuko! Bow Bow!" Mako had grabbed Ryuko by the back of neck and made Ryuko copy her action of bowing up and down repetitively.
She then looked over and saw Weiss and Blake, still in her panicked state and grabbed them around the necks with her other arm and made them bowing up and down too. "Weiss! Blake! You too!"
"When the hell did you guys get here!" Ryuko exclaimed looking at the pair.
"Nevermind that why are we bowing!?" Blake loudly asked curious.
"How am I supposed to know that!"
"Can we PLEASE STOP THIS ALREADY!" Weiss screamed indignantly at Mako, Mako stopped after making sure they were all in a bowing down position, she then put a finger to her mouth to single to the other three to be quiet. Weiss raised an eyebrow and looked around and her eyes widened, Blake looked up to see what had happened since her ears had picked up quite the amount of movement and decided to confirm it.
They were part of a line of bowed down students with another such line of students on the opposite side giving a pathway for whoever would walk down. Blake noted that near the entrance to the academy where the stairs where there seemed to be quite a lot of fog obscuring who was walking down the staircase, until Blake finally spotted a giant figure walking down the foggy staircase.
A giant would be the best word to describe the man Blake saw towering over everyone he walked past. He had brown-ish tanned skin with blonde slicked back short hair and gray eyes, he had small gold earrings in his large earlobes and had thick eyebrows.
He was dressed in a white uniform that had three black stars on the torso with the middle one being larger and reaching the bottom of the shirt, he had steel metal spikes on his shoulders with larger ones being on the top of his arms and shorter ones being on his shoulders leading up to his neck and had three small gray stars on left side of his shirt's collar.
He had steel like gauntlets with spikes shooting out of the gauntlet where the back of his hand was and he also wore spikes on his boots. To say the man was intimidating would be an understatement, the guy should be at least taller than 7 feet tall and would tower over quite a few species of Grimm.
However, if it came down to it Blake would take him down.
"That man looks as if he could twist an Ursas neck..heck he looks like he could rip it off!" Weiss whispered cautiously, surprised and shocked at the man's undorthraodx size.
"I'm pretty sure he could rip off a Nevermore's Head.." Blake quietly replied with caution, giving her own take on the behemoth.
"What's a Nev..nevermind all I know is that he looks like a bigshot" Ryuko commented, now in a crouching position looking bored but also interested.
"Yeah he's a Three Star" Mako answered, causing Blake to look at Mako curiously she had heard such things thrown around a bit when they arrived at Honnōji Academy, such as at reception or during class but had no idea what they were talking about and it looks like they were about to find out.
Ryuko and Weiss then looked as the giant of a man passed them. "Three star?" Ryuko and Weiss both asked at the same time, causing Ryuko to look at Weiss and Weiss looking right back.
The two started a bit, frowning at each other and looked back to Mako for an answer, Blake just rolled her eyes at the interaction between the two.
"Yep, that's Ira Gamagōri the disciplinary committee chairman" Mako answered, Blake wondered if that meant he was the one responsible for the 'purged' as Ryuko put it student outside making Blake clench her fist but listened as Mako continued. "He's one of Elite Four of the Student Council, he's SUPER elite three ranks above us no star students"
"No Star?" Ryuko asked with an eyebrow raised.
"It's a ranking system…" Weiss whispered coming to a realization.
"But what are the perks of having a higher rank?" Blake muttered to herself.
"Uh Huh the uniforms here have amazing powers and if you get one I hear it's awesome! You get all like superhuman and stuff!" Mako continues with her explanation.
"But their uniforms…" Weiss asked, shocked. "How-"
"Who cares how Mrs albino!" Ryuko interrupting Weiss. "Mako as I was asking earlier whose the-"
"Excuse me Mrs delinquent!" Weiss hissed ticked off interrupting Ryuko.
"You wanna go princess!"
"Both of you shut up!" Blake whispered annoyed, before looking back to Mako. "What else can you tell us about these...uniforms?"
"Ok, well the uniforms are called Goku Uniforms and they from one star all the way up to three star! Our Student Council President Satsuki Kiryuin hands out Goku Uniforms based on a students abilities, long story short their awesome! You got all that?"
"Yeah thanks Mako" Blake responded gratefully, gaining a giant gleeful grin from the girl.
Superpowered uniforms weren't at all what Blake had been expecting but she and Weiss had gone through many things in their lives that would not be considered in the slightest 'normal'. School uniforms that gave special abilities are just another thing to add to the list and besides back in Remnant there were people who made Dust infused clothing so Goku Uniforms might not be that different...hopefully.
"Well at least we know more about what we could be potentially dealing with..." Weiss muttered, still annoyed at Ryuko for the albino and princess comment.
"So what you're saying is the Student Council President the top dog right?" Ryuko questioned Mako.
"Yeah..." Mako answered while looking up as a bright golden light started shining from the stairs. "...and speak of the devil that's Lady Satsuki!"
Blake looked up to see where the bright light had come from and found its source coming from a tall slim woman with an angular face and long dark blue tinted hair that went all the way down to her thighs.
She had rather thick eyebrows and wore a white uniform with a white long sleeved collared shirt and pants that both had blue highlights and golden shoulder pads. She walked with a purpose and with confidence...and a lot of it.
"That's Satsuki huh…"Blake thought out loud before her eyes widened seeing Ryuko smile cocking-ly and then step out into the middle of the path. "Wait Ryuko!"
Ryuko chose to ignore Blake, as she strode right into the middle of the path followed by the shocked gasps along the lines of the student as she then carelessly asked with hands in her pockets as she stood there in the pathway. "Sorry to interrupt but I hear your the Queen Bee at this school, if you are I got a question for ya!"
"What is she doing?!" Weiss questionly hissed, surprised at Ryuko's sudden action. "It's like she's purposely looking for trouble!"
Ryuko was then immediately surrounded by a number of male students with the exact same brown haircut and dark blue uniform with a singular star engraved on. "Must be the One Star students, judging by their obvious outfits" Blake thought to herself.
"How dare you!" One of the One Stars yelled angrily. "GET HER!"
The One star students then all lept at Ryuko but were swatted away not a second later with two swings of her guitar case.
"Well she knows how to fight at least," Blake thought, watching the one stars landing a few feet away from Ryuko.
Than Ryuko proceeded to open her guitar case and grabbed the handle of a red bladed like object Blake couldn't quite make out that Ryuko spun around her hand, while than changed it to her other hand behind her back and then did the same thing changing it back to her original hand and as she then pointed the blade right in Satsuki's direction stopping the spinning weapon giving Blake a clear view of quite the ...unorthodox weapon...even by Remmant's standards.
"A Pair of Scissors?" One random no start student questioning in awe.
"No half!" Another random student noted.
"Well that wasn't what I was expecting to find in her guitar case…" Weiss commented nodded agreeing as she took in the giant scissor blade like object.
It was a dark red with a small hole in the middle meant for a bolt that would attach two pieces together (one piece obviously missing) and another hole was near the top and Ryuko held it in the grip like one would a sword. Blake saw the look of determination and anger in Ryuko's face and wondered what exactly she was trying to achieve.
Blake looked over to see how the Student Council President was reacting to this but she just saw the President open her dark blue eyes and looked on in interest but somehow remained with a calm expression on her face.
"That's the hugest scissor blade ever!" Mako exclaimed with hands on the side of her face.
"Yep It's one half of a giant pair of scissors and I've been looking all over the place for the person whose got the other half" Ryuko answered, confirming Blakes theory there was another half. "Hey Prez you ok? You look surprised to see this thing, like maybe you've seen it before!"
"She's picking a fight isn't she?" Weiss whispered exparated to Blake.
"Well if she wasn't obvious earlier, she is now!" Blake whispered sarcastically back.
"You have seen it before, haven't you!" Ryuko accused.
"And what if I have?" Satsuki asked stoically.
Blake noticed Ryuko looked to be taken aback for a bit. "You have seen it…" Ryuko responded in surprise but her surprise quickly turned into wrath as she shouted. "YOU'VE GOT THE OTHER HALF OF MY SCISSORS!"
"Ryuko, whatever you're thinking right now would be a bad tim…" Blake wasn't able to finish as she watched Ryuko sprint and jump towards the top of the staircase and Satsuki.
As Ryuko aimed her unusual blade right for the president's chest, Blake spotted in the corner of eye another launching themselves right into Ryuko's path and watched as they brought up a giant red fist as… "RYUKO LOOK OUT!"
Getting Ryuko's sudden attention as...
"TEN! KEN! FUN! SAI!"
She was stopped mid-air as a fist met the side of her face. And sent her crashing down into the horde of one stars sending all in her way flying.
"What the...I know Ryuko was actually attacking someone but what about the collateral damage of all the students…" Weiss shockingly hissed before Blake placed a hand in front of Weiss and pointed at all the other one stars who were next to blast.
"The bigger question is why they didn't even react or get out of the way, they just stood there like statues…" Blake pointed out, subtly mystified, before looking towards what exactly had caused Ryuko's sudden descent.
The person responsible was male and who wore more fancier and out there boxing uniform that consists of green shorts, a white unbuttoned trencoat (with a two star symbol on the collar), a grey helmet with spikes on it and belt with a large belt buckle with a bright red two star symbol.
The same symbol was on the forehead of his spiked helmet and the large boxing gloves he wore with spikes on his sleeve and boots were the same bright red colour. He also was missing one of his teeth.
"Fukuroda" Satsuki spoke identifying the teen, appearing to not be affected in the slightest by the sudden attack.
"Yes, Captain of the Boxing Club Takaharu Fukuroda" Fukuroda answered. "I'll finish this insolent wench off, with your permission"
As Blake suddenly hoped that the student council president wasn't really going to allow him to harm someone that badly her thoughts were interrupted as she heard.
"She's yours" is all the head of school said in response, Blake then realised as she recalled the student she and Weiss found strung up at the front entrance, Blake cursed herself as she just got one of the theories she had come up with to get proof.
The ones responsible for that student came from the school of course that much was obvious but there could have been many reasons why he was put up there and beaten that badly and she had a suspicion it had something to with going against the one who held all the power here in the first place...Satsuki Kiryuin.
"Move it!"
Blake was brought out of thoughts as she saw a furious and battered Ryuko charged and shoved out of the crowd of one stars.
"OUT OF MY WAY!" Ryuko shouted maddeningly, while swinging her blade at her new opponent.
Which was brought down with ease by a giant glove, making Ryuko stumble backwards as a vibrating metal clang rang in the air.
"I'm assuming that's..." Weiss started.
"A Goku uniform we've heard so much about? Most likely.." Blake replied instantly, while also ready to pull Gambol Shroud out at a moment's notice.
"Is that glove made out of iron or something?" Ryuko questioned, as she stood defensively ready to fight.
"Hah! Don't you know a Goku uniform when you see one?" Fukuroda responded mockingly.
"What? Your not even wearing a uniform!"
"What are you talking about, a boxer's uniform means gloves! And trunks! And..other stuff!" Fukuroda shouted as if knowing what he was saying, Blake questioned whether or not he knew the sport he was rambling about.
"Plus, Lady Satsuki gave me this Athleticism Augmenting Two Star Goku Uniform! It infuses my boxing gloves with their power, making them harder than hard..STRONGER THAN STEEL!"
"I don't get what your saying but if their that hard ! can stop pulling my punches!" Ryuko responded, flipping her grip on her scissor blade onto a much sharper side while smirking assured of herself.
Blake sighed at Ryuko's cockiness. "Looks like we will have to make our move sooner than expected." Blake mumbled as she unslung her duffle back off her back and placed it on the ground and was about to unzip it but found Weiss stopping her instantly grabbing Blake's offending hand.
"Blake no!" Weiss hissed. "We shouldn't…"
"I know this way too earlier than expected but we can't let something like this continue."
"Well for all we know Ryuko could already have this..."
"YOU THINK I CAN'T HANDLE IT!" Fukuroda angrily shouted as he punched the air with his left fist "GET READY! "HERE'S A LEFT UP TO RUIN YOUR ASS!" And sent hundreds of copies of the glove suddenly speeding towards Ryuko smashing her right across the face.
"..I retract that statement"
As Blake felt Weiss's grip loosen as the pair watched Fukuroda charge toward the badly beaten Ryuko, ready to finish the fight.
Blake unzipped the bag and retrieved Weiss and her most loyal companions.
"What you got there Bla-OOOOhhh!" Mako looked over excited as she got a glimpse at the bag's content.
"Gonna give Mrs Matoi over there some assistance"
