I'm back again with another chapter. The second of the childhood arc, I have been spending the last week rereading the arc to theorize what I'm going to do with this story. I've got a plan…for once. The true question is whether I will stick to it or allow my curiosity of potential story ideas derail my carefully thought out next 50 odd chapters. The childhood arc does not last that long, thank God, but it will affect the next two arcs.

Shiori Mimko: Well I think that she already has had a culture shock, but Imagine what she'll feel when she eventually gets to Wano. I kinda imagine Goa as a mix between European and Japanese culture with the bandits and normal citizens with more Japanese culture and the royalty as more European. To be honest most of the show is a mixture of both, look at the two main types of sword, Katana and cutlass, or the ships which are a weird imitation of European capital ships of the 18th century. Lucy nearly did kill Garp, but as I said she is more of a pacifist than anything.

Ace POV

''Fight me''

Lucy, or whatever her name was, stood staring at him in silence. All her attempts at conversation, which made her obviously uncomfortable, stopped then. He could see the doubt, fear and confusion in her eyes like she didn't know what to make of his statement. Ace didn't know why she was confused; he made his intention clear from the start.

Eventually he got a response in the form of her dropping the part of His pole that she picked up and stated clearly ''no'' to his face.

Normally he would just leave it be, let someone so obviously bellow him go. They were not worth the effort to even acknowledge. The only thing that mattered was strength, Sabo and his dream. For most of his life he wanted to prove that he deserved to be alive, to do that he needed to make the world acknowledge his existence. He needed to prove that he wasn't Portgas D Ace, the son of the devil, but Portgas D Ace and that alone. The fact that the only reason people would take interest in him was because of a father who abandoned him, made his blood boil. The only thing he ever wanted was to be recognized as his own person, and by doing so prove his existence to the world. And for that he needed power…power like the world has never seen so when he eventually died the only thing they'll say is 'Oh yeah Gold Roger, Portgas D Ace's Dad'.

That meant he needed to gain power, and that meant he needed to fight powerful opponents in an endless climb to the top of this world. Powerful opponents where in short supply in Goa kingdom. At age eleven he could match most of the beasts that walked the jungle; he could win against all but perhaps the best of the Bluejam pirates and Goa kingdoms guards. But based on the story's that his 'Grandfather' told him of the Grand line they were but specks of dust in a sea of sand. In six years he needed to be capable of being on another level and he needed to do it fast.

Before him obviously uncomfortable with his stare was an opponent who had proven her worth. For the first time in a long time he felt something in the back of his mind screaming at him to be careful around her as the tree fell. He didn't know how but for a brief moment she managed to put him on the back foot, his weapon destroyed, as he struggled to weave around her attacks. For a brief moment she had managed what hundreds of opponents hadn't. As he stared at the aftermath of her attacks he had thought to himself 'what if she was conscious? Would she be on my level?' And again he got excited at the prospect of a fight; it was all he could think about as soon as he saw her awake talking to Garp.

It was not that he didn't hear he dismissal, more that he didn't care. Something deep inside his heart came to life as he stared at her yearning to prove himself capable of achieving his dream.

That was all the permission he needed.

Something must have crossed his face because in an instant Lucy was on edge slowly, almost to the point of it being unconscious, backing away. Between them were the two halves of his pole, the shorter one was closer to her and the larger one was near him. It seemed that in his rage he had set the stage for their encounter. As he slowly walked forward, getting closer and closer to the place where the larger piece was laying on the floor, he stared at her eyes all the while.

Lucy seemed unsure of what to do as she merely stared at him as he made his way forward. She wasn't shifting back like before but with each step he took she seemed to be more and more on edge, fear telegraphed slightly more on her face. He was confused, why was she afraid? She had that power at her finger tips, the devil fruit? The question was left unanswered as he finished walking to the larger part of the pole. Experience had shown him that taking your eyes off a dangerous opponent was stupid, bending over left you exposed to any number of attacks, so he stamped on one end of the pole. It spun with a sudden jerk upwards in a slow spin, up and up it went as the force he pushed into made it rise. Lucy seemed to jump slightly at the motion and looked at the spinning pole instead of him, a rookie mistake much to his annoyance. The pole as all things under the effect of gravity started to descend and in that moment he caught it with his right hand out off the air.

It felt right to have a weapon in his hand again, natural. Like He could beat anyone.

His opponent wasn't feeling his confidence as she stared at him, not getting the message that he was going to fight her regardless of what she said as she did nothing. Even as he pointed his pole at her in an obvious challenge she did nothing. As the seconds passed by his annoyance grew larger and larger, feeding his anger to greater and greater heights. Luckily it hadn't overwhelmed him to the point he couldn't think coherently as through gritted teeth he ground out ''Pick up your weapon and fight me''

He received a shocked look in response, as the girl did everything but what he said. When it dawned on her that he was serious a couple seconds later she stuttered out a meek ''W-what? No''

She seemed to be content with leaving everything at that, even as he continued to stare at her. And something started to boil in his blood at this. He didn't know why but her dismissal infuriated him, without thinking he started walking towards the stunned girl with the intention of forcing it regardless.

Around three meters from her, Lucy must have realized that he wasn't going to stop because the slight panic in her body exploded out into full on fear spread across her face like jam spread across bread. With each step he took she took one back, eyes always watching him like he was some type of monster. She had corrected her rookie mistake of taking her eyes off her opponent, and a part of him sang at being acknowledged as someone worthy of her attention. The distance between them didn't close as they both moved at roughly the same pace, but that wasn't what he wanted in the first place.

While the distance had stayed the same he had reached the smaller part of his pole, which had been dropped when she introduced herself at the start of their encounter. Like his showing off from earlier he kicked the pole up into a spin in the air, and just as with his other pole he caught it as it descended. Unlike his other pole instead off keeping it he threw it at her in an underhand throw.

While he wasn't the best at throwing objects, let alone his pipe for obvious reasons, the metal tube managed to get close enough that it fell well within reaching distance as it crashed down to earth before her. Lucy looked at him for a couple of seconds confused then looked down to the pole resting before her feet. Then she bent down to pick it back up, and in that moment she as she bent over she left herself completely open to all attacks. She had also stopped looking at him. In an instant as she went to pick up the pole he was already on her.

It took less than two second to cover the distance, pole raised above his head to bring it back down on her head and give her matching bruises. Lucy somehow managed to hear the sound of his feet and her head shot up to stare at him in horror. Despite noticing too late she somehow managed to fling herself backwards just slightly more than he expected. Regardless, she had no form and in a split second he had changed targets from her head to her still exposed torso. With a swing of his pole all her momentum stopped as it crashed into her stomach and sent her back into the dirt with a ''Ahhhhhh!''

Ace didn't notice, already moving onto the next attack in his combo and intending to finish her off with a kick to her ribs, when he stopped. It took a couple of seconds before he managed to control his instincts and observe his opponent. Lucy was clutching her stomach in pain, curling into a ball as she seemed to struggle holding down the bison from earlier. Her gasps coming out in large, drawn out breathes as she seemed to gasp like a fish out of water. He had winded her like he intended.

In a moment he turned from rage to confusion, where was his fight? Where was the power he had seen? What had happened to the girl who put him on the back foot? What?...What!?

He didn't understand what was going on, and the confusion turned to anger not at Lucy, that still remained, but at himself. For getting so invested, for caring. He felt like an idiot for even working himself up into believing this… girl… could be worth anything. For believing that he had finally found something that might put himself one step closer. Like before when he found her in the jungle, but this time he had evidence that she was worth his time. And yet…and yet she didn't even start to come close to his expectations. All that wasted effort…for what? For what?!

''Ace what the hell!'' Dadan called from the shadows of his consciousness. It seemed that he had been so focused in his owned head that he had phased out from reality. The bandits must have heard her small scream from being hit and rushed out expecting an attack. At the door of the hideout were thirty bandits, swords all drawn staring at him in confusion. Dadan, Dogra and Magra at the front. In an almost comical way they stared both sides stared at each other, until a grown from his 'opponent' caused many to look at the girl at his feet.

Magra took initiative by quickly walking over to the still wheezing girl and gently rubbing her shoulder while comforting her. Ace paid him no heed as Dadan, red in the face from drinking, carried on ''what in your right mind possessed you to attack her, while she's injured by your hand no less! What if Garp hears about this!? Don't you care about what happens to us Ace?! Well?!''

He had no response. The idea of having a challenge for once had worked him up to the point where the letdown resonated at his core. Not only that but know he had to deal with everyone else jumping on his back. Like they understood what it felt like not having a purpose! To be him! And then he remembered there was one person who understood him. Sabo was still in the Grey terminal, but the dangers jungle never mattered at all. It was going to be dark soon, but he knew the shortcuts that would eliminate that problem.

With no words spoken he hefted his pipe onto his shoulder and walked out the clearing paying no mind of the situation he had caused. In the end he couldn't help but feel that Monkey D Lucy was a disappointment.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII($◦$)IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

3 Months later- Dadans hut- POV Lucy:

The last three months were hard on Lucy; she had never been worked so much to the bone. Once it became know that she wouldn't throw a large explosive fit over extra work, like someone such as Luffy would do it all started to pile on. Not only did she have to do her own large list of daily tasks but also all of Aces as well. It seemed that despite being the main food collector he still had chores, which he promptly ignored. Since she never really complained they were all handed off to her with a simple 'well if you're doing these, then you might as well do the others brat!' from Dadan. All the surfaces had to be wiped down, she had to broom all the floors with an old tattered wooden broom which hardly worked. All the weapons in the barracks had to be cleaned and sharpened with an Whetstone that was almost the size of her hand and many times more heavy, then all the bandits caught on and 'gifted her' theirs to be cleaned. All the clothes had to be washed by hand with a washboard like the Victorians then placed on the drying lines outside, considering they were bandits she had ample opportunity trying to get blood off clothes without modern detergents. All the shoes had to be polished and cleaned every day to an almost sparkling brown because 'bandits need to look professional!' only for said bandits to come home from whatever they did with filthy boots only for her too clean them again for the next day. She had to get up at four in the morning to start, got three snacks during the day, had two small fifteen minute breaks, then at supper had a small bowl of rice, a glass of water and two pieces of whatever Ace brought back before collapsing in her small dingy room with an uncomfortable bed, only to get up tomorrow to repeat it all over again.

It seemed that the bandits operated under a policy of out of sound out of mind and simply forgot her as she went about her 'chores' relaxing when not out by playing cards and drinking. As long as she made no effort to stop they didn't care about her. In a way it hurt to be ignored, but she was used to being a black sheep that everyone disregarded. Truth be told she wasn't going to complain, firstly they were murders, secondly she didn't know how to get to Foosha village without going back through that hell scape called the jungle, thirdly and most importantly she was exhausted. Somewhere in the back of her mind she acknowledge that this level of work was probably detrimental for a child, her body couldn't keep up with the lack of sleep and low food levels. She never starved, not like in the jungle, but despite having a good meal everyday it was never enough. Compound that with manual labor and you get a dangerous mix on this young fragile body.

Even still Lucy did it because she had nothing else to do; she didn't want to go back through the jungle she still had dreams about it in there. In three days she almost died, one would think in their own heads they would naturally be able to live in a jungle like all the scenarios you would magically come out on. If Ace hadn't helped her and dragged her here the most likely outcome was that she would have been dead by nightfall. Speaking off Ace, she had hardly seen him throughout the two odd months she had been here. She was too busy doing his chores and he was off in the jungle every day, the only time she even saw the boy was during supper. Despite sharing a room she was always asleep before he even came back from whatever he did after supper. There were a couple of times that she heard him come into their shared room, opening her eyes to see his eyes staring down at her in interference. The darkness playing in such a way that his eyes seemed to play over his face, but never his eyes as they stared at her.

One of the only good things that happened was that her bruise eventually subsided after fourteen days, and with it was the pain rumbling like thunder through her head. Luckily it seemed she was wrong about the extent of the damage. Even still after it subsided the bandits stopped caring about her, it seemed that as long as she wasn't in danger they wouldn't care about her. It didn't help that once Garp left around four days in they started to act questionable, not mistreating her but pushing into some very grey areas surrounding forced child labor. Despite this they did hold her to some regard; many of them nodded their head in greeting, and as the months dragged by they even started to offer her a place at their games. Never to play as she had nothing, but still to watch as they drank and gambled. They opened up slightly to her, included her slightly in their conversations. Weirdly she got more respect from the bandits as time went on than the citizens of Foosha. A type of comradeship, she worked behind the scenes and they did what they did.

There were also some up sides to this she supposed, as the months went on she learned some skills that might be needed later that she never would have gotten. Like learning how to properly maintain swords and knives, how to talk down drunk murders from a fight and how to do laundry with only the basics. While she hated most of her tasks there was one that stood head and shoulder above the rest…

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (0*) IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Never had Lucy thanked her ability's more than for Wood chopping for the wood stores. All it took was a flick of her finger and no matter the size the logs would split seamlessly into nice storable chunks.

THUNK

Just like the one she had just partitioned which had easily split into two with a simple wave of her hand, both sides smashing into the floor. The wood storage area for the hideout was around the back of the building, it was at just the right angle slightly off behind a small hill with the jungle surrounding the rest that passerby's could not see in. Not that many of the bandits used the back exit to go on the adventures. Still as long as no one walked over the hill they couldn't see her powers and even then she kept the rusty axe in her off hand to give the illusion she was using it. Hopefully they would be convinced by the illusion she was using her axe and not question what they saw.

This was fortunate because for the last three months Lucy had been hiding her powers from the others. Of the others only Ace knew about her devil fruit and even then even he had said nothing because no word was mentioned over the group's supper meal. For some strange reason her seat was always by the fire next to Dadan, they had formed a weird bond over the last three months. It felt like a boss employee relationship but something was off about it, there were times when the woman reminded her of Makino but those were few and far between. Even then Dadan had given no hint that she felt like she knew.

Just thinking about Makino hurt Lucy, the idea of her alone in the bar made her want to find the path for Foosha village, walk into the bar and give the woman a hug that would last forever. Every time her fear talked her out of it, calmly reminding her of the time she last spent trying to get to Foosha three months ago. The last thing she ever got from her was her hat back which she had worn every day of her time here, just to make sure none of the bandits stole it from her room. Even know it sat on her head as a warm comfort of Shanks.

Before her was a couple more pieces of wood that she needed to cut up but apart from that everything else was done. This job was pretty rare all things considered, they were in the middle of a jungle so the only reason they needed wood was for cooking and light. Still Dadan was a control freak at heart and surprisingly a very good administrator with an eye for managing the day to day running's of the hideout. She seemed to enjoy managing the finances the most, Lucy would know considering the woman had boasted to her that the bandits hadn't run into financial debt for the last twenty years when horrendously drunk one night. It also meant that Dadan would get on her back about any missed tasks by shouting at her till her ear fell off then refuse feeding her till she did, the alternative was 'getting your own food' which Lucy didn't want to do after the last time she set foot in the jungle. As mentioned earlier, borderline forced child labor.

With quick flicks the remaining logs halved then quartered and with practice from doing the task multiple times now she stacked the partitioned logs in the log shed in the remaining places at the top, so that the small shed was almost bursting out the door. She had made the mistake once of stacking them unbalanced earlier on, it took hours to put all the logs back and Dadan refused to let her eat for missing jobs.

SWISH

Her neck might have broken with how fast she turned to face the sound. Still as she looked back over the little hill, over the entrance to the jungle she found nothing. For a few minutes she stood trying to focus her hearing on anything but it seemed that nothing turned up except the usual noise of the jungle that she had slowly been learning to ignore.

It was properly her exhaustion playing tricks on her, she concluded, staying up to eleven only to get up at four probably wasn't the best idea.

There were still the weapons to maintain, and with Dadan getting more annoyed for some reason it probably wasn't the best idea to annoy the matriarch of the household. Without thinking much more of it she walked off to her next daily task.

If she had looked better however she would have noticed a pair of eyes staring back at her from the darkness, Dogra gazing with a severity that bellied his size.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (^!^) IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

Supper- 21:30 :

The first thing the alerted her that something was wrong was the fact that Dadan, Dogra and Magra seemed to have an unspoken agreement between them, the second was that Dadan was more subdued and unlike most nights didn't drown herself in a bottle of sake. As the night went on and the meal finished Lucy was prepared to leave to go to bed, she wasn't prepared to do a repeat of last night. A ''Hold it brat'' from Dadan stopped her from fully leaving.

At her raised eye brow the woman patted Lucy's cushion next to the fire and muttered ''sit back down, we got to talk about something'' Dadan for once wasn't boasting or loud instead it sounded much like a teacher at parents evening about to tell the child they were in trouble. In her curiosity at what was going to be talked about she walked over. Had she done something wrong? Had something happened? Or perhaps she was getting a break? A change to her routine? The tired part of her cried out in relief at the thought.

Instead of saying anything Dadan merely picked up a piece of wood from the small pile by the fire, that was to be used for firewood tonight and showed it to Lucy. Her confusion must have shown on her face because Dadan elaborated her unspoken point by asking ''what do you see brat?'' Still confused by the whole thing she stared at the piece of wood. It was one of hers that she had partitioned, normal with a small bit protruding from the bark in a former small branch. Still Dadan stared at her in an offsetting manor with Dogra and Magra all of a sudden focusing in on the conversation and staring at her face. It took a moment to realize they were waiting for her response so she responded with ''A piece of wood'' hoping that stating the obvious would please them.

Dadan ever sarcastic responded ''Very astute brat, you know what I see brat?'' At her response of a negative head shake the bandit leader continued ''this cut is very good, expertly done that even master lumberjacks would be envious, you must be very proud to get such an cut with that rusty axe…if you were using it that was'' At this the woman stared down at her and silence reigned in their little group. Most of the other bandits had left after the meal had finished and the rest were clustered in one corner watching a game of cards with attention, only her, Dadan, Dogra and Magra were in earshot. Still that didn't matter as she was starting to comprehend what had been said, trying to realize where she had been found using her power but she kept coming up blank. When Dadan cleared her throat louder than normal Lucy realized that silence was as bad as admitting the truth and so shakily defended by stating ''Dadan-sama you must be mistaken, I was taught how to cut wood from an earlier age. I have mastered a teckniqu-'' Dogra cut her off from finishing the lie by interrupting with ''I caught you earlier today flicking your finger at the logs, they magically split apart into pieces''

The sudden shift left her pausing to find a place to re-enter the conversation to defend herself when Dadan muttered ''I've been wondering why all the new logs where so smooth, It was bothering me for a while but your work ethic made me give you the benefit of the doubt. I gave you the wood cutting task today to allow Dogra to spy and you and look what we found…You're a devil fruit user aren't you brat?''

Any hope of convincing Dadan that she wasn't lying died then. All three of them seemed to be resolve that they had found out the truth. A hundred thoughts passed through her head about what would become of this. Most of them featured her being forced to be a human weapon. Higuma had brought to life the fact that many people would want her for her power; she was on paper the perfect target. A small young girl with no combat experience, wielding a fruit that held vast potential for destructive power and no family to back her up. Well Garp might if he was here, but he would most likely 'gift' her over to the marines to fill his stupid fantasies. Right now there was a good chance Dadan would try to utilize the hold she had over her own sake. It made Lucy sick to think that she would be utilized like a human weapon, but most importantly to her that she would be forced to give up her morality. She didn't want to kill anyone!

As a sliver of anger overtook her at the thought she clenched her fists together enough that her now long nails sat uncomfortably on her palms. Dadan must have noticed because she snorted out loud and said ''Do you have such little faith in me brat?'' The question made Lucy look at the ginger woman who looked down at her with unimpressed eyes like an adult scolding a child for talking back. With a puff of her cigarette the woman stated as if it were fact ''I made you a promise that if you worked hard with your chores then you would be excused from 'theft, looting, swindling and murder' I believe. Considering you actually have kept your side of the bargain why would I give my end up? Do you really think so low of me?'' At this all three of the bandits stared back at her with an intensity she had never really seen over the last three months. It seemed they were annoyed at their word being questioned and with a slight panic responded with a ''No! No! Not at all! Dadan-sama!''

Their stares continued for what seemed an eternity before Dadan smiled again with a short response of ''don't you forget it brat'' at which point she focused more on her drink, leaving the conversation to the other two. Dogra was perhaps the closest to her after Dadan; he was willing to show her how everything was done at the start off her stay. He seemed to dislike kids and would complain loudly in her direction during the first part of her stay but had warmed up after she had seemingly proved her worth to him through her labor. Magra still put her off slightly but he talked more than the others and seemed to be the calmer off the three, not like Ben Beckman who was an intellectual but still more than the rest. She had a weird relationship with him, like most of the bandits, in that he was technically an acquaintance but she knew some really weird things about him during their conversations.

Dogra was the first to break the silence Dadan had left asking ''so what is the devil fruit? I've only heard of them in legends, but I saw what you did today. Don't they give magical ability's, or so the rumor goes'' The question seemed to be one all of them wanted answered because they all focused more on her. Even Dadan who had been drinking her sake from a large porcelain bottle put it down to hear the answer. The first thing that crossed Lucy's mind was to lie and pretend that her power was some other ability, one less powerful or potentially powerful. But Dadan had already basically promised not to utilize her power in less moral ways so she decided to explain it fully as a show of respect ''I have eaten the Partition-Partition fruit it allows me to partition anything in th-''

She would have if Dadan interrupted asking ''what the hell does 'Partition' mean?'' in a confused manor. It took a couple of seconds for Lucy to realize that public education probably didn't exist in this world and most likely bandits didn't have access to it. With that in mind she decided to explain her power in a words that would probably be understood ''Partition basically means to split. My fruit allows me to split any object I desire into two parts as long as they are within a five meter range of my location''

Her companions seemed skeptical at her claims, Magra even throwing out a ''any?'' into the silence. Dadan who at this point had focused her attention once again fully on the conversation took the piece of wood that had started the whole thing and placed it firmly down in front of her with a muffled bang. The other bandits looked over for a second before once again turning to their game. Dadan ignored the small mutters from them and ordered in a tone that commanded no resistance ''Show us…'Partition' this log in half again''

With a flick of her finger the wood split evenly in two and all three of the bandits looked on in surprised curiosity. In a way it amused Lucy that despite being born in a world of crazy power, the average citizens of this world were just like the last one. If someone managed to do that on earth they would become a global phenomenon with everyone asking them to show the crazy ability. Despite being a different world, human curiosity with things that didn't make sense all ways prevailed. The three of them passed around the two parts of wood, rubbing their fingers over the new cut in seeming awe at the smoothness of it. Dadan held one part in her hand in contemplation then she turned to her and with a strange glint in her eyes asked ''so you mentioned you could cut anything in half with this power?'' at Lucy's nod she continued ''so what have you cut in half?''

''Mostly wood actually, yeah wood and ….'' She was going to say Higuma's arm but then her brain caught up with her mouth and the memory she had repressed came back. The three bandits noticed her sudden pause because they stopped staring at the wood halves and focused on her sudden pause. They seemed to ask 'and what' in all but words and so she quickly finished with ''A glass bottle'' to finish her sentence without a horrible cut off.

None of the bandits seemed to believe it but they quickly moved on with Magra asking ''so why is it so smooth?''

''Because I am not using a tool, I am outright moving the atoms of the object in such a way that it perfectly splits in half. If I was using an Axe it would get caught on the small cracks and that would cause the blade to force the wood to split unequally. I am basically using the sharpest axe imaginable which can cut straight through anything no matter what''

Despite explaining it in a way that made sense to her she managed to confuse all the bandits who got caught up on the word atom. Once again she was forced to remember that this society was stuck in the past and that the things she knew for granted probably weren't even know about. Well not by the average citizens who had little to no education like in her previous world. In the end both sides dropped the whole thing after she tried to explain to the three of them what atoms where leading to only increasing confusion.

After she spent a couple more minutes trying to explain what she could and can't do the limitations and rules of her power. In the last three months she had been hiding her devil fruit she had hardly any time to experiment on its capability's, unfortunately there was no ruler to truly test her limits. Out of all the bandits Dadan took it in the greatest stride probably due to already knowing what devil fruits are, but after explaining how it worked for the third time the other two finally started to understand it enough to grasp what she was capable of to some degree.

It must have been past eleven when she finally made to go to bed; needless to say Lucy was not looking forward to tomorrow's early start at four. She was however stopped by Dadan calling out from her spot by the fire, empty bottle by her side. The bandit leader looked over to her and simply said ''don't worry about getting up at four tomorrow brat. Sleep in'' Her confusion must have shown because Dadan carried on ''I have a special job for you tomorrow''

Lucy's excitement over finally getting a sleep in was quickly stopped by the final part. What special job?

Well this is the end. Sorry this is late by two days, I am a bad procrastinator. Well Lucy is rubbish at combat because I am horrible at combat, needless to say she needs teaching if she wants to truly learn. I'm pretty sure Dadan threatened Luffy with no food if he didn't work; it seems Lucy is more susceptible to that threat. I really hope no one is mad about Ace because that's how he's going to stay for the foreseeable future of the story. Any way till next time Bye Bye.
