Alya watched the television in disbelief.

*bing*

She looked at her phone, there was a message from Nino.

Nino: Have you seen the news?

Alya: Yes.

Alya: At least the video didn't catch the actual house.

A small consolation prize considering the repercussions Marinette was going to have because of this.

*bing*

Nino: Have you texted Marinette to warn her?

Alya: I will now.

As Alya started writing out a text to Marinette. The news cast continued.

"In other news, the son of the famous fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste, has been reported missing this morning-" a picture of Adrien flashed up on the screen from the photo shoot the day before. "-Authorities are urging anyone who may have information about the sixteen-year-old's whereabouts, to contact themselves or Mr Agreste's secretary."

Alya: Marinette I've done something terrible please turn on the news. I am so sorry, I never meant for it to happen. I'll explain better when I see you. Please forgive me. Adrien's missing have you heard from him?

Alya: Nino, have you heard from Adrien?

Alya awaited a reply from Nino, she could see him typing.

Nino: No I haven't heard from him, his phone is going straight to voicemail.

Alya paused the screen with Adrien's picture on it, she was going back to her theory she had had some years ago and wondered. Previously she had thought that Adrien had bared some resemblance to Chat Noir. After what she had witnessed last night, could it be that her theory had been right? He had been in such a state it wouldn't surprise her if he had not gone home after that.

She pulled up a picture on her phone of Adrien in one of his ad campaigns, and a close up of Chat Noir from the Lady Blog.

'Hair is the same colour, eyes are the same colour, body type is the same, they both have similar rings on the same hand...'

Adrien awoke cuddling Marinette.

'What a night, I can't believe how's it's turned out.'

He smiled at the back of Marinette's head and smelled her hair. He moved to lie on his back, staring at the ceiling. He had not thought much about everything that was going to happen when they enter the world as a couple, he was too busy enjoying the present in their own little bubble.

*ding*

He heard Marinette's phone sound.

'And so it begins, just 10 more minutes without the outside world would be lovely.' Adrien contemplated as his super heroine partner groaned at the intrusion.

Marinette stirred from her slumber and turned to face Adrien, their noses almost touching. Hand over her mouth stifling a yawn.

"Morning," she said from behind her hand. "Morning breath," she gestured to her hand over her mouth and got up and made her way to her bathroom.

*ding*

As she came back in the room she checked her phone. "It's Alya," she told Adrien. "Oh no." She looked horrified and passed the phone to Adrien before switching on her computer. "No no no no!" panic and disbelief in her voice as she started the video from the morning's news cast.

Adrien, dumbfounded by the text and the video Marinette had just brought up on her screen, had realised how much of a risk they had taken.

"What are we going to do." He asked, all the possible consequences of last night swirling in his head like a tornado.

"I have no idea," she clicked on the next news article. "You've been reported missing too." She stood up straight after sitting to use the keyboard.

They knew this was bad, however wonderful they had made each other feel, this was bad. Who had seen the broadcast? What would people think? Would people put two and two together if Marinette showed up in school suddenly in a relationship with Adrien? After Chat Noir had headed in her direction? What were her parents thinking right now?

Adrien looked at Marinette, he was sitting up, hands on his head in exasperation. Tears were forming in her eyes as she wrung her hands in front of her.

"I'm sick of this-" her phone rang. "It's Alya, I can't answer her."

"Marinette," Adrien started, "there is a solution to our problems, we might make them worse before they get better, but you're going to have to trust me."

She smiled at him with her big blue eyes as he stood up and took her hands in his. The certainty of his plan could be seen in his face, panic in his green eyes had been replaced by content and assurance. He leaned in to kiss her and she met him half way, putting her arms around his neck pulling him as close as possible, as if this may be the last time.

She trusted him unconditionally, even before they had ended up each other's arms, Chat Noir had always had Ladybug's back. Countless times he had caught her just in the nick of time, saving her life when they were faced with an Akumatised victim. They had faced many opponents hell bent on destroying them and stealing their miraculous', they knew they could trust each other, so this time was no different. It did not matter if they were wearing masks or not, they were a team, and they knew they could count on each other.

"We need to visit Alix," he told her while embracing her tight, apprehension in his voice.

Marinette knew he was right and knew what Adrien was thinking. The Miracle Box under her bed.

"Maybe it's time for Bunnix to join the team." He concluded.
