A few weeks ago Twilight's pov
"Ahh!" I yell as i bolt up from a nightmare, My body and sheets covered in sweat. I get up from the bed. After checking the time i head to the bathroom and splash myself with cold water. I change my sheets and unable to go back to bed i make myself a cup of coffee. It's only 5:30 in the morning, i keep waking earlier therefore getting less and less sleep.
Over the last few days since spike left the nightmares have been getting worse and worse. At first it was just Starlight in that bed, now it's so much worse. Now...now it's her corpse tormenting me along with the others.
"You did this to me!" She would yell her blood mixing with the mud.
The others are sometimes there yelling things like,
Disgrace to royalty, failure, scum and so on. It's... It's.
I don't know if i can keep going i have to try and fix this. I just hope they are willing to listen. I went to the train station and took one to the Crystal empire. I arrived at the hospital amd after entering security immediately stopped me?
"Oh right" i say to myself facepalming I'm banned from the hospital by Princess Celestia unless i have a medical or family emergency. I leave and after making sure I'm alone i teleport up near Starlight's room.
Approaching the door i knock.
After Applejack angrily slammed the door in my face. The despair i felt is immeasurably.
I just... i.
"Ugh! Dammit!" I stomp on the floor and teleport out of the hospital. I walk back to the train and head home. This... this, i don't know what to do!. I think as i lay on the couch. "What do i do?!" Twilight yelled as she sadly slumped.
Thinking Twilight had one more attempt to make. Getting up she trotted to the train station once more buying a ticket to Cantelot.
Once they she walked to the outskirts of the castle, looking up she thinks 'I really hope she doesn't just toss me out.' Twilight thinks desperately
Walking to the castle she is stopped by the guard who ask why she is there. After answering they escort her to the throne room. She knocks.
"Enter Twilight Sparkle" Celestia says from the other side. Twilight enters the room keeping her head low and her eyes down, believing herself to be unworthy of being aloud here.
She walked until she was coming close then stopped dead. Her head still hung low avoiding eye contact with the one she disappointed the most. The silence in the large room was deafening. Nothing was being said between the two. So quiet it was one could hear the birds outside.
"So. The princess started, you finally came to me looking for guidance on this, hmmm".
Twilight was shivering with a nervous quizy knot in the pit of her stomach.
Inhale...
Exhale...
Twilight looks up.
"Y- yes Princess Celestia" She says the fear evident in her voice as she struggled to get her mind in order.
"Well, i have to say I'm surprised. I would have thought your more rational thinking would have come faster." Pausing she took a drink from the tea floating to her left.
She sets it down and desents the steps Twilight watches her every move not sure what is going to happen. Celestia stops infront of Twilight her expression unreadable.
"So Twilight Sparkle, why are you here?"
Twilight takes a deep breath and says the one thing Celestia wasn't expecting.
"I want you to take my wings."
Heating this Celestia freezes her eyes widening.
"Say again?"
"I want you to take my wings i don't deserve them. Everypony was right so do what you have too and take them."
"Twilight I'm not going to take your wings as punishment for your actions."
But...
"No buts Twilight! Yes you messed up, Yes you were horrible but you're not irredeemably. You are my faithful student Twilight Sparkle and I know you can fix this."
"I want you to try one more time, ok? Celestia continues If that fails you try again. I will not take your wings unless i have too. I believe that even with your disrespectful and irresponsible actions you are still in control of how this ends. Now go back and fix this."
Twilight smiles "Thank you Celestia" she walks out the door going to try one more time.
