Starlight has been awake for a few days now, however she refuses to talk to anyone besides the doctors. They may try but they're usually ignored.

Then in comes Applejack. Starlight's attention is immediate as the mare enters the room and sits next to her. Over the next few minutes nothing is said only occasional glances and breathing. Then Applejack speaks.

"I'm sorry" her voice comes out a quivering thick tone. "I...I failed ya."

We all- her emotional spill is interrupted when Starlight pulls her forwards and enbraces her tightly.

Applejack immediately shuts up as she enbraces back. Nothing is said but nothing is needed. Starlight then starts speaking

"Don't think for a second this is your fault i should've stood up to her".

"No i...i should'a done mo...more. I...I failed you Star."

"I should have too". The two kept their embrace for the next few minutes. After that time their was a loud crash from outside the door with some shouting.

Things like "Where is she!" And "get out of my way!" Are heard from the room.

Bang! The door basically explodes inward as Sunburst bursts into the room. His mane is unkept and eyes are bloodshot. As he sees Starlight lsying on the bed staring at him he bursts into tears and launches himself at her.

"Oof Sunburst" she squeaked out as he squeezed her. "I ca- *cough* can't breathe."

"Oh right sorry" he said releasing her flashing a guilty smile as she breathes deeply trying to catch her breath.

Over the next 2 hours the 3 talk about events Starlight missed and what happens next. Then someone else showed up.

Knock Knock sounds from the door suddenly as everyone falls silent.

"Can i come in?" A voice sounds from the other side. Everyone recognises the voice on an instant.

Twilight... it just had to be Twilight and no one is happy about it. Applejack is about to say something when she sees Starlight shaking.

"Are ya okay sugercube?" She asks turning to the mare on the bed.

"Applejack. Get. Her. Out of here" she borderline orders. Starlight's pupils are shrunk and her face shows nothing but anger. Wordlessly Applejack gets up walks to the door and exits the room to talk to Twilight.

*In the hallway*

"Twilight" Applejack turns to her friend, "Why are you here?" She asks with a angry look in her eyes.

"Applejack please let me in"

"No! You don't get to see her. Didn't the princess' forbid you from seeing her unless she want to see you?"

"Please i know i hurt-"

"Do you!?" Applejack interrupted "Do you know how much you hurt her."

"Please just let me-"

"No! Now i think you should leave before i call security" Applejack says turning around and walking back into the room before shutting the door in Twilight's face.

What she didn't see was the look of despair on the mare's face.

Over the next few weeks Starlight learned how to walk again and talked with Applejack about what happens next.

So where will you go Star?

I'm not really sure. I have a bad relationship with my dad and i don't know of anyone else I'm related too.

Well if you like you can stay with ma family for awhile.

Are you sure? I mean i don't want to burden you or your family. I know how hard things are for you just providing for you four,but five i don't know.

"Star we'd be happy to help until you decide what to do." Applejack said comforting the mare.

'Thank you Applejack.'

After another week Starlight walks out of the hospital with help from Applejack. The two ponies head for Twilight's castle and of course Starlight's not happy about going there. But Applejack manages to convince her. When they get to the castle they split up with Applejack saying she'll see her at the farm later.

Arriving at the castle Starlight does her best to avoid twilight while she starts packing.

Unfortunately it was only a matter of time especially since she was in the friendship castle owned by the Princess of friendship.

Starlight?...

Ugh... 'why does the universe hate me'

"What do YOU want?" Starlight asked glaring at the alicorn behind her.

"I wanted to apologi-!" Starlight slaps the mare across her face as hard as she can.

No...

"No you don't get to apologize for everything you've done. Because of you my dreams were destroyed, Because of you i tried to kill myself in front of what spike amounts to as a child. Not to mention you treated me like a pile of shit for weeks trying to make sure i was 'house broken' for your ego and selfish attitude."

"So no Twilight Sparkle you don't get to apologize because i will never accept it." Starlight grabs her bags and walls out the door leaving the so called *Princess* to contemplate what just happened.

Unfortunately for Starlight she didn't see the darkness cast from Twilight' mane obscuring eyes. A tear glistening on the alicorn's cheek.

Dun Dun Dun... What is happening to twilight? Do i even know? We'll see...
