Kagami was in her room, the news cast had just finished. Staring at her phone, she was pleading for a reply.

'You've lost him Kagami. You lost to Marinette, what shame you have upon you. Adrien never loved you or he would be here now, begging for forgiveness. How pathetic.' The vile voice in the back of her head berated her.

"Stop it!" She grasped her head with her hands fighting the voice inside. It was the disappointed voice of her mother which followed her everywhere she went.

'Look at that...the night Chat Noir and Ladybug have a falling out...is the night before Adrien went missing...I bet he's in her arms Kagami. Where did they say Chat Noir had gone to? I bet all the times you could not get hold of him, Adrien was with her-'

Kagami looked down at her phone and started writing another message to Adrien. Hate and despair in her eyes, tears forming, her hands shaking as she typed.

'Does he think you are stupid...'

"Did you think I would never work it out?..." She typed the message out and pressed send. Her phone still in her hand, was checked multiple times, every second it seemed, to see if he had read her multiple messages. This conflict was driving her insane.

"No I can't do this anymore," she sounded exhausted, as if this had been going on for a while in her head. "He doesn't love me...he never did."

Kagami checked her phone. He had now read the messages. A few minutes went by, yet again there was no answer, no reply from him

'Teach them a lesson...you can see he's read your messages...he's ignoring you. Feel this pain, feel your despair at being second best to her...show them how formidable you really are.'

"Keep hiding Cat..." Kagami read out the text as she was typing, anger in her face, pure hatred for Adrien and Marinette. The feeling of loss turned to wrath. The fateful butterfly finding it's way to her red plaid tie...

"Narushisuto," the formidable red mist descended over her eyes. "You have been made a fool of by the man you love and your former friend."

"No Hawk Moth you can not take me!" Kagami protested with determination.

'Let him take you Kagami, let him transform you to have your revenge and make them never forget your ultimate power.'

"It seems you are conflicted Narushisuto," the smirk could be heard as he spoke. "No problem, this can be overcome."

Kagami internally cheered and her inner voice made its way to the forefront pushing Kagami back into herself, forcing her to become an observer in her own body.

"We need to do this Kagami, for our honour."

"Now this is more like it!" Hawk Moth had enthusiasm in his voice. "Omniscienta, you are all knowing, all powerful, you will be able to regain your honour and defeat Ladybug and Chat Noir. All I ask is for their Miraculous to be obtained and handed to me."

"Yes Hawk Moth." The internal voice answered, Kagami was now stuck in her own head, unable to stop the chaos the about to ensue.

'No!' Kagami despaired.

"Chat, you give them to their wearers while I try to find Alix,"

They were running and swinging over the roof tops of Paris.

"Stop, stop, stop!" Cat Noir stopped with the Miraculous' in his hands, "what is the plan exactly?"

Ladybug stoped and walked back to him, "find Alix, go back, ask Alya not to record that footage, come back and see what's different."

"It's not going to be that simple," he looked puzzled, "I have a feeling like something big will happen." He looked back in the direction they had just came, "Nino and Alya both live in this direction," he gestured, "I think it would be better if I went to give them these and you meet me with Alix." He looked worried. "I keep getting the feeling that Kagami will become Akumatised."

They had fought an Akumatised Kagami before and it had been a difficult battle against such a strong opponent. While Adrien had been in his relationship with Kagami, he felt there had been two sides to her. On one side, Kagami had been loving and gentle, very rational and focused on the positives. On the other side, which he had seen more of towards the end of their relationship, Kagami was cold and calculated. Nasty with her words and did not consider the feelings of others. The troubled thoughts were apparent on his face.

"You're right," she agreed. "We both need to go back though, I don't know how it will impact our memory of what's happened so far and I-" she look intently at him now, "I don't want either of us to forget these past however many hours." Ladybug was really close to him now, no embrace though, as they were in hero attire and they couldn't risk it being seen. "These memories mean too much."

"Agreed M'Lady," he nodded and whispered in her ear, "it's always been you Marinette, my Bugaboo." With a wink and a cheeky grin he was gone, leaving Ladybug blushing and almost breathless from his words.

'Let's get to Alix before anything else can happen.'
