"Hey guys," Chat Noir surprised Alya and Nino by appearing at Nino's window. They had been playing on his games console when Chat Noir had shown up.
"Cat Noir," Alya looked worried. "If you're here about the video-"
"Don't worry about it Alya," Chat Noir put up his hand to stop her from continuing. "It's nothing to worry about."
'Actually it's one of the reasons we're in this mess but it's ok.' He schooled his face to hide his annoyance at the situation.
"Myself and Ladybug have reason to believe that we may have a rather powerful Akumatised victim showing themselves soon, so I have brought these over for you." He handed over the Miraculous' to the pair who were completely dumbfounded at Chat Noir being the one doing it. It was usually Ladybug who was handing them out.
"Where's Ladybug," Nino asked, glancing at Alya worriedly.
"She's on her way," Chat Noir replied knowingly.
"Erm... Chat Noir," Alya started, "is everything ok... With you know..."
Chat Noir smiled warmly at Alya, "everything is as it should be."
With that reply, Alya knew. She had had her suspicions and that had confirmed her theory. "You were there when I sent that message weren't you!?"
Chat Noir chuckled, "I guess the cat's out of the ba-"
An almighty crash could be heard in the distance, cutting off his words. All three of them looked out over the city of Paris in the direction of the chaos that ensued.
"I knew it, come on M'Lady," he turned to the others, "transform guys, I don't know how long M-Ladybug-" he almost let it slip "-will be."
"You ok Bunnix?" Ladybug called to her new team mate.
"This is sooo awesome!" Bunnix hollered while sprinting over the roof tops of Paris towards the chaos of the latest Akumatised Parisian. "I can't believe it's finally happened!" She screamed in ecstasy. Keeping up was no problem, her stamina was increased tenfold, she was able to leap far and fast with precision and her senses were heightened beyond what Alix could have ever imagined. "This is the best day ever!"
Suited and booted they were just getting to the park when Ladybug spotted Chat Noir speeding away from the fight. "Ladybug we need to get out of here now, this battle is nothing like we have ever seen before." He was panicked, people were screaming behind him.
'Why has he left the scene?' Ladybug pondered suspiciously.
"Chat," she looked at him seriously, "who is this next to me?"
He looked at Ladybug in surprise, why was she asking.
"Chat, answer me!" Ladybug demanded. Something was off.
'He doesn't recognised Bunnix and he's met her before, we talked about it earlier.'
Chat Noir's demeanour changed, he stood differently, straight and strangely stiff.
"I am Omniscienta, I am all Knowing and know all about you BUG!"
"Bunnix get us out of here!"
"Burrow!" Bunnix grabbed her umbrella and opened a portal that her and Ladybug jumped through, it closed as an infected Chat Noir lunged towards them both.
Now in the white time portal for the first time Bunnix took a look around in amazement. "This is amazing," she looked around in awe. "What do we need to do Ladybug?" She turned to Ladybug, a look of determination mixed with excitement on her face.
"I think...the best thing to do right now is have a look to see what happened," she replied thoughtfully. "Maybe if you look for the specific moment before Chat Noir was changed by Omniscienta, we can watch what happens next."
"How the hell do I do that?" Bunnix looked completely puzzled and looked at the multiple portals around them. "Do I just touch it?"
Ladybug shrugged, "I think you should try anything, maybe think of the moment in your mind too." Ladybug gestured to the whole of the portal, "this is all connected to you and your Miraculous, you'll sort it." Ladybug winked at Bunnix, hoping that she had given her the confidence to use her abilities.
Bunnix was playing around with the portal and visions were flying on and off the screen in front of them. "How'd you know about Chat Noir anyway?" She asked casually.
"He was off, something wasn't right, so I thought I'd ask him something that only he would know," She looked thoughtfully into one of the portals. "I know him and I just knew."
A vision came up on the screen in front of them, "stop, I think that's the moment we need." Ladybug noted.
Bunnix took her hand away and the vision started playing, they could see an Akumatised Kagami hovering over the Seine.
Chat Noir, Rena Rouge and Carapace had been on the scene quickly as the public fled from the plaid patterned whip being wielded by Omniscienta. From what they could see, the whip quickly wrapped around the victims and they acted like they received an electric shock. The victims then started attacking our heroes with anything they could get their hands on. The voices were muffled but you could see the panic in the faces of the trio.
Carapace used his shield but the whip seemed to know this would happen and snaked under at the last second and targeted Cat Noir.
"Oh no!" Ladybug had despair in her voice. "My Kitty..."
"Why aren't we just going back to Alya already?" Bunnix asked. "This could all be stopped by that."
Marinette had worked it out already, from the last time she had received a visit from Bunnix of the future.
"I need a lucky charm." Fist to her mouth in thought. "If I go back just me, without the lucky charm, I'd be going back to that point in time and changing the course without knowing what or if I could come back." She was waiting for something to occur to her but she could not think straight. "This involves A-Chat too," shooting a worried glance to see if Bunnix had heard the slip up. "So he needs to come back with me."
"What happens to me then?" The concern was apparent in Bunnix' voice.
"When I released my charm in the past it will put everything back to normal," Ladybug looked up determined. "Just like it did last time."
"Will I remember?" Bunnix enquired.
"I think so," Ladybug turned to her, "if you don't you wouldn't know anyway."
The look of realisation appeared on Bunnix' face. "You're right, and I guess I'd just go back to how I was, or just step back into the correct time."
"Exactly." Ladybug turned back to the screen, "We need to jump back out there, you ready?"
"Wait how will we do it?" She looked apprehensive now, "do you have a plan for dealing with that?"
"Omniscienta didn't know about you... and that's what I'm counting on."
