It has been done, my lord." Dooku bowed before his master.
"Yes...what of the boy and the Wookiee?" The dark shadowy figure said in a grumbled voice.
"My troops were able to get them into the temple successfully as I distracted the Jedi." He answered with a hint of pride in his voice.
"Good!" The figure boomed and it echoed through the hollow walls.
"Master if you don't mind me asking...but why is the boy so important?" Dooku said in a nervous tone.
"It's not the boy I want….it's the Skywalkers kids!" He stood up and approached his young and naive apretence. Dooku gave him a confused look.
"I am sorry Master...but I do not follow?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Skywalkers kids. They are much more powerful in the force. I have sensed it. Much like their father they are." He explained further.
"But I thought Skywalker wanted the boy to train...not the girl?" Palpatine let out a stream of laughter as him and Dooku walked down the cold shafty hallways.
"He too has sensed their force ability. But to keep his precious daughter safe. She will learn politics as her mother did."
"I see….and how do the Boy and Wookiee come into this?" As they approached the larger room with a projector in the middle he further explained.
"You see we have tracked the young boy, knowing that the Jedi would allow Skywalker to take him as he is the only one with kids, to get the exact layout of his house to be able to retrieve the kids."
Again, silence. The figure that was once shadowed face was now lit up with a blue tint caused by the projector.
"You always come up with the best plans, my lord," Dooku said as he turned to Sidious.
"I wish everybody else had the same enthusiasm as you do,'' Sidious said in a low voice. The 2 walked into the meeting room which had a small flash drive on the table that held a plan for later.
"Now...the only thing we need from the Wookiee is trust." The shadowed figure was smirking like a madman…..and truthfully he was.
"Trust?" Asked the apprentice.
"Yes….once the Wookiee has gained the family's trust. He will be a great asset." Both chuckled...knowing exactly what he meant.
"So let it be…..Master." With that, the screen flickered off and both headed in opposite directions.
Luke and Leia's room was pretty big. But despite the largeness, there were no spare beds. So Han had to improvise….. He ended up sleeping on the floor….in a sleeping bag. Luke was silently sleeping on his bed, with his Jedi stuffed doll cradled in his hands. Han was sprawled across the floor snoring very loudly. And Leia was just trying to read. Even though she was only 7, her mind was big and so was her imagination. And unlucky for her parents, so was her sass.
All of a sudden Han started to stir and she froze. Holding her breath and being careful not to wake Luke, she crept down the side of the bunk beds and made her way over to Han. Taking small steps she walked to where Han was sleeping. Or at least trying to. His snoring got quieter as he was waking up. Leia checked the Chrono clock and it read '0500'. She sighed and went to wake him up. She couldn't stand the ruckus he was making.
First, she tried just shaking him awake. That didn't work. Then she kicked him. Didn't work either. Then she tried shouting in his ear. STILL, DIDN'T WORK. Finally, she pulled out her blaster and blasted his foot. He bolted up and winced in pain.
"What the Fuck!" He shouted.
"Well you were being noisy and it was getting annoying!" She shouted back.
"Why didn't you just wake me as any normal person would!" He tried to stand but couldn't.
He flopped back down on his pillow and rubbed his temples.
"I tried. I even yelled in your ear. You wouldn't get up. So I shot you." She smiled innocently and he just scoffed.
"Well next time just don't wake me!" He was obviously still not fully awake, but she could understand what he said through his slurs.
"Why are you awake?" He said after a long pause.
"What do you mean?" Leia asked, generally confused.
"It's 5 in the morning and you're awake. Why?" Han lifted his head off the pillow and saw her shrug.
"I don't know...I'm not tired I guess." Han was about to say something back but closed his mouth once he heard footsteps. Leia froze as well and mouthed, I got this to him. The door opened and Padme found Han and Leia sitting next to each other on the floor. Han looked like he just woke up, but Leia looked as if she had been up for a while. Both looked guilty.
"What are you two doing up at 5 in the morning. And Han what happened to your leg!" Padme exclaimed.
"Oh uhh-" Han turned his head to Leia. She nodded her head telling him he could tell Padme. But what he really said shocked all 3 of them.
"I uh- I was testing out some new moves and kinda shot myself, by accident."
Padme's eyes widened.
"Oh my! Do we need to go to the hospital!?" She asked in a frightened motherly voice. "uhh-" Han hesitated and looked at Leia. Han had a smirk on his face as if he was trying to irritate Leia.
"I'm alright," Han smirked which irritated Leia.
Padme went to check on Luke when Han and Leia started fighting. Again.
"You owe me." He whispered.
"I owe you nothing!" She fired back.
"I just saved your petty little ass!" He gave her a look that implied that he was over fighting.
"Will you watch your language!" Padme scolded him.
"Sorry." He mumbled.
Padme sighed, "It's fine...just try not to do it again." Han nodded in appreciation.
Padme had pity on the poor boy. Chewbacca had told Ani about what happened to them and it broke her heart. Chewbacca was taken into slavery and his tribe was killed. He was taken to Corellia, where Han had freed him. Han was only 6 when it happened. He was also a slave or 'worker' as the empire called them. They took small kids to work in imperial academies. Han was sold to them when he was 3 by his parents, who couldn't afford him. There he met Chewie and saved him. They traveled through the galaxy on an old ship that Chewbacca owned: The Millennium falcon. Even though Han was still learning, Chewie had taught him how to pilot pretty well. Despite this information, Chewie doesn't know the full story because Han refuses to talk about it. Padme assumed Han never had a parental figure in his life other than a 200-year-old Wookiee.
[Sorry this chapter was really bad. Sorry]
