UPDATE:

It has come to my attention that some things I mention may be triggering so please consider this a warning that there will be stuff mentioned like:

Note that I do not have everything planned out to the finest details so when I say 'possible' it means it could be mentioned or I could not add it. Depends on where I want this to go.

Info regarding this story:

· Teddy Lupin is still vital to the story even though he has finished school

· Victoire Weasley is 7th year

· Lysander and Lorcan Scamander are for the sake of the story in their 4th year

· Ron Weasley is not married but has 2 children with his on and off again girlfriend: Rose and Hugo.

· James Potter – 3rd year

· Albus Potter – 1st year

· Rose Weasley – 1st year

· Scorpius Malfoy - 1st year

· Draco Malfoy is potions master at Hogwarts as well as Slytherin head.

· Neville is Herbology professor but as soon as Minerva retires will take over as head of Gryffindor.

· Severus Snape is reinstated as Headmaster after undergoing trials to prove he is fit to take on the job.

· Hagrid still teaches care of magical creatures as well as his job as game keeper.

THE TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT:

Normally in canon it is held every 5 years but for sake of the story will change. After the disastrous tournament of 1994 it died out but during after Severus Snape made a petition to do it again it was brought back under new guidelines and stricter rules. No more death defying challenges. It will of course be regarded as a bit dangerous but more in line of trickier business as near-death experiences.

It will rotate every 3 years instead of every 5 years as to include the two American schools, Ilvermony and Salem. The first official tournament was in 2002 and was held at Hogwarts as a sign of good faith in regards of a reformed Ministry and that the war is over, and no tyrants are let loose.

Beauxbatons refused to partake in the first tournament of 2002 as 1994 was still rather fresh in Madame Maxine's head. She did however come to support Hagrid in this as they have officially made their relationship public after the war.

The new rules also included that the next time the tournament will be held at a different school and the hosting school will be able to choose the guest schools.

The rotation follows as such:

2002 – Hogwarts

2005 – Drumstrang (This year they held it nearby but still haven't made their location public)

2008 – Beauxbatons

2011 – Ilvermony

2014 – Salem (Because they are hidden in plain sight the tournament was held in secure location every time)

2017 - Hogwarts again (The year the story takes place)

· In 2008 Viktor Krum retired in Quidditch and started at Drumstrang as Flight instructor and an apprenticeship in Transfiguration. The next year he was appointed as the new transfiguration teacher. In 2011 he was declared the youngest headmaster at 34. At the end of 2011 he started a relationship with the Runes teacher Ivanka, and they tied the knot in 2014. Late 2014 their son Ivan was born making him 3 during 2017

26 February 1999

A quiet February evening filled with cold air and fresh snow before the spring rolls in could be found in Hogsmeade village 9 months after the great Battle at Hogwarts.

Life has slowly gone to normal after so many losses.

The Ministry of Magic has since been reformed, a slow process, and every known Death eater and supporter's trials has concluded.

Hogwarts has almost been completely rebuilt with a few touches to make it habitable again.

It was on this night in February that Andromenda Tonks neè Black was visiting friend Aberforth Dumbledore after reconnecting during war times. Teddy Lupin was spending time with his godfather Harry Potter at the Weasleys giving her a chance to get out for the first time in years without the fear of death from Black family members looming over her head.

They had hardly begun on their bottle of whiskey when a sharp cry of obvious pain could be heard near the Hogs Head inn's back door.

A cautious Aberforth inched forward with Andromeda nervously watching on, wand drawn in case of danger. He pulled the door open in one go, aimed his wand but did not fire a spell luckily, because in front of the door curled up was a girl or more young woman barely out of her teens.

"Andy quickly help me!" Aberforth demanded as he began lifting the young woman up from the snow.

Andromeda jumped forward immediately and together they carried her to Aberforth's room. Andromeda started a fire in the fireplace and turned as Aberforth laid the woman on his bed.

As soon as they saw the girl, they both inhaled sharply as before them laid none other than Hermione Granger, War Heroine. A very pregnant Hermione Granger.

"Please… Please I can't… They are coming."

Their eyes flew to Hermione's open ones filled with tears, confusion obviously running through their minds at her words. It took mearly a second for Andromeda to register exactly her meaning and her eyes flew to Hermione's stomache.

"Are you… Are you saying you are in the process of giving birth miss Granger?" asked Andy while a bewildered Aberforth was looking between them.

Hermione nodded slowly, but that was all Andy needed to spring into action. She was for a few minutes in and out of the room carrying towels and bowls. Aberforth still stood shocked and bewildered with no indication of moving or doing anything until Andy barked at him to get pillows.

"Now miss Granger- "Andy began but was interrupted.

"Hermione please."

"Very well, Hermione. I need you to please start breathing and lay back as this will be painful. No need to sacrifice comfort and cause further harm to yourself and your baby."

Hermione nodded and laid back onto the pillows Aberforth provided. She looked at them and said one last thing before she had to push.

"I should mention that there are two babies inside of me."

Andromeda Tonks and Aberforth Dumbledore spent that night delivering two babies into the early hours.

They were then sworn to secrecy to keep their existence a secret as well as their whereabouts as Hermione Granger feared for not only her life but as well as her children if they were found out.

Both agreed immediately and by default was appointed Grandparents of the twins which in the coming years was taken very seriously.

Hermione Granger effectively removed herself and her magical print from Wizarding Britain. Her absence was felt through out the population and especially in the lives and hearts of her closest friends.

No one could understand why she chose this and speculations were made as to why but it all stayed just that, speculations.

It wasn't until almost 19 years later that she resurfaced against her own will bringing not only a big change in the wizarding world but a few secrets along the way.
