Prompt: Humans are the rarest and the deadliest species in the known universe. Often, search parties go missing due to a run in with a human ship. It has recently come to light that there is an entire planet full of them.
Prompt: It is illegal to contact the humans, as they wear an evolutionary scar from their time as prey. It is known as 'fear' and it makes them volatile and unpredictable.
A/N: I do not own South Park or any planets… I also do not own either of the writing prompts that I am using to write this story.
After the third pass of Neptune, every Sateil is sent off to learn about their histories and how to learn how to converge with nature. How to us their salivary glands and also how to move their bodies in the appropriate way when doing anything. As a future ruler of their race, Tweek had been given a more advanced and thorough training on fighting than most of their people. Besides the future rulers, only the most advanced were given more than the basic training all Sateil's are given. Tweek was taught from a very young age, how to fight and use the objects around him for leverage to jump. He couldn't really say the amount of time and passes that he had used to learn to jump so high, or punch so strongly and move so quietly. He was the top of his class, but that wouldn't mean anything against a more advanced opponent. He felt his knees hit the ground roughly again.
Tweek stared into the face of his birth giver, his glowing brown eyes seemed to brighten with the scent of victory in the air. Tweek was in pain; his birth giver was older, stronger and had been practicing his fighting skills since he was very young. He also, had more anger in him than anything at this point in time which, to Tweek, told him that he would have to match that anger to win. It wasn't hard to become angry again and again when he thought of his people and the future they would have if he failed, but his anger may not be strong enough he realized as he watched the slightly crazed look in his birth givers eyes while he swung again. Tweek pushed against the hard ground he felt beneath him, using the momentum to leap over the head of his opponent and kick out at his back which sent his birth giver face first into the pavement. Both of them were showing signs of this battle although neither slowed down.
Around them stood Sateils and humans alike, watching the two fight each other. The humans felt nothing but confusion and terror, some felt anger but the fear of being overpowered kept them from stepping forward to continue the fight they had just been in. The Sateils watched as their leader and future leader fought, knowing the outcome would be one dead and they knew that their futures hung in the balance. None stepped forward to help, knowing that they would not be permitted to interfere. They would not be distracted from watching the fight, knowing that if Tweek were to win, they would be leaving. Not one of them wanted to leave, still wanting revenge but they had already sustained a heavy number of losses to their people, it would not be wise to stay longer.
His birth giver got back to his feet and the fight continued, both throwing punches and jumping and kicking one another. Finally, Tweek kicked out with his foot and caught his birth giver in the stomach while also reaching and grabbing his neck with his hands, he tightened his grip on his birth givers neck, who was already winded from the kick, and squeezed until he moved no more. Tweek felt sick with himself for killing the only birth giver he had left, but knew it was for the good of his people. He lay the body of his birth giver softly on the ground, kneeling at his side long enough to ensure that no more damage would come to it before he stood to his full height and turned to address his people.
"The message that we came to deliver has been given. It is time to return to our ships and reconvene on Neso. There will be a meeting as soon as five passes of the glowing orbs." He watched as they all turned immediately and walked to their ships. All but one. He looked at the blonde who still held the arm of a struggling Craig. She met his eyes for only a moment before she let go of the human struggling to break free. Craig ran over to Tweek, leaning on him a little heavily as his legs were turning to jelly again. Tweek supported the taller boy with no problems as he looked at the blue irises in front of him.
"I thought you were going to die" Craig told him in a soft voice as he ran a bloodied hand down Tweek's cheek. He leaned in and kissed him before Tweek could respond. Tweek felt all of his fear, sadness and relief as his salivary glands encountered Craig's. When he pulled away Tweek noticed the trails of wet running down Craig's cheeks. "I am glad that you are ok."
Tweek looked up at Craig and smiled. "I am fine. How are you? Your seem to be turning a different color." He watched as Craig's pink skin seemed to be darkening before his eyes and turning a dark blue, when he ran his fingers lightly over the patch of skin Craig flinched which caused Tweek to drop his hand.
"It's nothing. Just a bruise. That happens when everyone wants to throw you around" Craig was going for a joke, but with his flat tone of voice and the way he still hurt it wasn't really a funny one. He shook his head and leaned down to kiss Tweek again. Tweek pulled away this time and gave him a bit of a sad smile. "You have to leave again." It wasn't a question, he could see it on Tweek' face.
"Yes" Tweek sighed as he looked at Craig. He didn't want to leave, he wanted to stay. However, he knew that his people needed him, as soon as he stepped up and challenged his birth giver to a combat of decisive law he knew that his choice was taken from him. A ruler can only enter that combat for the good of his people and if he turned his back on them now there would be only the decision of bloodshed because that is what they came to do. Tweek felt a painful ache in his stomach as he looked at Craig, knowing he would never see him again. "I love you, Craig. I'm sorry that it has to be this way."
"I love yo-" Craig's reply was cut short and his knees buckled unexpectedly. Tweek let out a small yelp as he caught Craig as he fell, his hands coming away covered in fresh red from a place in the center of Craig's back. He shook his head, not comprehending what was happening as Craig's eyes rolled into the back of his head and his breathing stopped.
"No! No, Craig! Wake up! Craig!" Tweek shook Craig's shoulder uselessly but Craig's head just rolled to the side. Tweek felt the wetness on his face as he final looked up. His male birth giver was still on the ground. Barely alive but his gun was raised, there was no confusion on who had shot Craig. He watched, not fully comprehending as his birth giver pointed his gun at him now, he felt every inch of Craig that was in his arms, already feeling the warmth leave his body and he felt glad. Leaving Craig behind was going to be hard, but he would be alive and well, the memory of what they had would be with both of them. But the realization that he would leave Craig behind and Craig would be dead was another agony altogether.
He looked back at the face of the human in his arms and waited for death, hoping that if there was a paradise, then Craig would be there with him. When the shot didn't come he looked back up to find Bebe standing over his birth giver with her gun in her own hand. His birth giver lay dead, the hole between his eyes giving away what she had done. She turned slowly, her beautiful face wet and as she took in the dead human that Tweek still clutched, sympathetic. Bebe had always been such a sweet person. She approached him slowly.
"Tweek, its time to leave. We don't belong here anymore." He looked again at Craig's face and clutched him a little tighter before laying him lightly on the ground and leaning down to kiss him lightly one more time and just continued to stare at his face until he felt Bebe's hand on his arm and he stood up, blindly following her back to their ships and flew off to Neso where he would be needed to be strong for his people.
