In the training grounds in the Gremory mension, Roxas Gremory was seen standing There with his eyes closed. He had a long, beautiful cutlass sword with an S shaped handle.
It has been three weeks since his talk with Ajuka Beelzebub, but he still got no response from him yet….huuuh, of course he would be late. After all…he wasn't asking something easy from him.
After he asked Sirzechs to train him, he kept spending all his time in the training grounds. Whenever his brother would come, he would drag him to the training grounds. He was helping him with his Power of Destruction. And Roxas was trying to get a better mastery of it….but it wasn't easy.
Mastering the Power of Destruction can take a very long time….but he didn't have a long time. So he did something else….
He tried using the Records!
And oohh boy what he found in there….
There was information in these records on how to get a better mastery over it….and he found how broken the Power of Destruction really is….
Anyway….
He kept training with it quite frequently, and managed to get a better mastery of it. His family were amazed from his growth. The Power of Destruction takes quite some time to charge it. But he managed to reduce it, making it take less time to charge.
His brother was able to fire it instantly, so he's also working on that…
He asked if he can get a sword to train with….his brother agreed and brought him this high quality sword.
But why would he need a sword…?
Well….he wanted to test something he found in the Records. And if he managed to do it right, it would be a huge Step in his training.
There were a lot of ancient runes in the Records. Each of them can grant something special abilities.
But he only wanted to test two special runes.
The first runes would allow the sword to cut through anything, even dimensions. This would help him greatly against his enemies if they were using powerful defenses.
The second runes however….they were the most terrifying.
Once these runes activate, any wound caused by the sword will never heal. No matter what kind of healing methods the victim may use….they will never heal and will die. Even the smallest wound would cause death from blood-loss after sometime.
The only way to heal from it was if the user deactivated them after cutting.
Using both of these abilities at the same time would guarantee a victory….But still it's not perfect.
He would still need to catch his enemies. And if they were fast enough, then he is the one who's going to die.
He already did the rune work on the sword and was getting ready to give it a try. He stood a few meters away from the training dummy.
He inhaled, then exhaled….
He unsheathed the sword, and got ready for the test.
He slashed horizontally at the direction of the dummy. Air around him seemed to be cut. And after a second, over a hundred slashes appeared on the dummy, and it was cut to pieces.
This was a success.
He would name this move….Judgment cut.
For some reason it sounds stolen though…
He wished for his sister to train with him….but nooo, she is very spoiled to the point of thinking that she can easily become powerful without even training.
As for the Power of Destruction, apparently they can be used in very different ways. One of them is to unleash an invisible wave in the direction of the enemy. This wave will reduce him to nothing. And it can't be dodged because it moves instantly. The enemy won't know what hit him.
But still….it required a high level of mastery, and he was still working on it.
He brought the sword back in its sheath and made his way out.
"Now that I think about it, I never got to read more about Sacred Gears. I already know a lot about them, but maybe there's something I don't know?" He thought.
He took out the Records. "Sacred gears."
"Sacred gears, also known as Gods artifacts, are items with powerful abilities bestowed upon humans by God of the Bible. He created them as part of his system to enact miracles on Earth." Okay, this part he already knew. But the next part, well…not so much.
"Each Sacred Gear has a special code to deactivate it if necessary. God of the Bible anticipated that some Sacred Gear users would use them for personal gain and destruction, so he created deactivating codes to temporarily stop them from working. There are also other codes to activate it again, a special code to extract them without killing the holder, and a special code to terminate them permanently without killing the current holder. But he died before he can tell them to his four great seraphs.

That can make Sacred Gears completely useless against him!

For now he's going to visit Ajuka. He's going to check on his progress with the research. And also tell him about what he read here.
While he's walking inside the mansion, he spotted his sister standing with her queen. She had long black hair tied in a ponytail with an orange ribbon.
"Hey Rias, hey Akeno-san."
"Hey Roxas."
"Roxas-sama." Akeno said while bowing.
"Please, Akeno-san, I told you before I don't like formalities. Just call me Roxas."
"I'm sorry then, Roxas-kun."
He smiled and waved his hand. "Please, No need to apologies."
She nodded at him with a smile. But it was a fake one….He already read about her, and the rest of the Peerage's past. And boy they were all tragic!
Like seriously, all of them had the shittiest past anybody could not hope for. For example….
Akeno Himejima, her mother was killed by the rest of her clan of being a half fallen-angel. Then kept wondering japan for two years, using her powers to eliminate evil spirits before being found by Rias.
Yuuto kiba, formally known as Isaiah, was taken for the holy sword project by a twisted angel name Valper Galilei. After he and his friends were deemed useless, he eliminated them all as failures but he managed to survive. Then was found by Rias.
Koneko Toujou, also formally known as Shirone, is a nekoushou who's sister killed their master. Her sister escaped and she was captured and sentenced to death. But Sirzechs interfered and stopped the execution, and was reincarnated by Rias.
All this peerage is a complete tragic house indeed…..
"Anyway, what are sanding like that Rias?"
"I'm doing nothing in particular. I finished my lessons and had some free time."
"Really?"
She nodded. "Yes, by the way Roxas, where are you going?"
"I'm going to Ajuka-sama. Apparently he has something he wanted to talk to me about."
She tilted her head. "Ajuka-sama? What does he want?"
He shrugged. She just nodded at him. "Well then, it's time to go. See you later Rias, Akeno-san"
"Bye Roxas."
"Bye, Roxas-kun"

"Your brother is really nice, you know that Rias?"
"Of course I know Akeno. He's my brother after all."

He finally arrived at Ajuka's lab. He made his way to the door and knocked on the door. Once he heard a "come in" he made his way inside.
"Hey Roxas, you came just in time." the current Beelzebub said. He brought a small box and handed it to Roxas. When he opened the box, he found fifteen chess pieces.
"I was able to finish making them with the notes you gave me, they also can be extracted once you give them the order without any negative drawbacks." He said.
"Amazing, now all what's left is test them?"
Ajuka nodded. "That's right, if they can reincarnate anyone, then they should reincarnate even gods. But we need a god we can trust enough to do this."
Roxas kept thinking for a while before a light bulb appeared on his head. "How about odin?"
Ajuka raised his eyebrow in confusion. "Why Odin exacly?"
Roxas shrugged. "Well, from the future I've read, Odin is going to be very helpful for the three fictions, and he doesn't have anything against them."
Ajuka kept thinking about this for a while. Odin indeed doesn't have anything against them. He's also reliable-to a certain degree-in some situations.
Finally, he nodded in agreement. "Very well, Odin seems to be the best option right now. And by the way, the machine you asked me to build…."
"What about it?"
"Well….there are some materials that we don't have here. So it will take a few months to finish it." Ajuka said.
Roxas just looked to the ground, and then released a sigh. "It shouldn't be a problem for now. What matters is that we finish it. Doesn't matter how long it takes."
But before they can make their way to Odin, there was something Roxas had to tell Ajuka about. "I've read something about Sacred Gears today."
Ajuka gave him a raised eyebrow. "And it is…?"
"Apparently, when God created Sacred Gears, he created for each one of them special codes. Some codes are to deactivate them, others to reactivate them, others to extract them without killing the holder and others to terminate them completely."
At that, Ajuka widened his eyes again. The shock on his face every time he tells him something like that every time was priceless.
"A-Amazing. That can make any Sacred Gear useless." He said with awe.
"Indeed, but that won't work on artificial Sacred Gears, because they don't have these codes. I'm going to try and memorize all of them soon. They will certainly help us in the future." Said the Gremory.
Ajuka nodded. "Hn, that's right. Now…it's time to get going. We still need to test these pieces."
Roxas nodded and began following him.
Well….If Ajuka did Everything right, then this should work.

"Wait wait wait hold on, you want me to what?"
"We just want to test these Evil pieces on you."
"And why's that?"
"Well, these Evil pieces should be able to reincarnate anyone into a devil. So that means they should work on gods. And we thought you'd be the perfect test subject."
After Roxas finished his presentation, Odin kept staring at him like he grew a second head. After a while of thinking he asked. "And if they worked, what would others think if the all father became the servant of a small brat."
"Don't worry; these pieces can be ejected just as easy. So you don't need to worry about that." Ajuka said.

Odin just sighed and scratched his head. "Sigh….Fine. You can do it."
"Fantastic." Roxas said as he took a pawn piece and walked towards him.
"Well, moment of the truth." He thought. He took the pawn piece and put it near his chest, and then it sank into his chest.
"BAM, it worked" Roxas cheered. Odin looked shocked and Ajuka breathed a sigh of Relief. Then Odin sprouted 6 pairs of bat-like wing on his back.
"Holy shit, it really worked." He said.
"Now, time to take them back." He held his hand close to Odin's chest. "Eject" he said. The piece came out of Odin's chest and back in his hand again.
"Well, holy shit this is weird. What do plan on doing with these pieces Ajuka?" Asked Odin.
"Don't worry, we're not using them to build ourselves a powerful army. These pieces are the only ones of its type we will ever produce. We just wanted to test how'd they work. And they are also the property of Roxas here, because he's the one who helped me create them." Ajuka clarified. Odin then looked at the kid. Roxas nodded at him with a smile.
He released a heavy sigh with his head down. "Well congrats kid, just make sure you use them well alright?"
"Of course Odin-sama."
"Well, I think it's time for us to go now. Come on Roxas."
"Yes, Ajuka-sama. Bye Odin-sama."
After they left, Odin just shook his head. "Huh…devils these days."

After Roxas and Ajuka were back, Roxas Remembered something very important he forgot to tell him about.
"Ajuka-sama, do you remember the nekoshou who killed her master?"
Ajuka raised his eyebrow. "Yes, is there's something strange about it?"
"Well, apparently she killed her master for a very good reason. Her master was actually conducting experiments on his servants. He was working for the old Satan fiction in order to create super devils. The nekoshou found his documents about it and, out of fear for her sister, she killed him. So you should try and look for them. Maybe we can clear her name."
Ajuka narrowed his eyes. That was indeed very concerning. If the old Satan fiction got their hands on these documents, they may be able to finish the project.
And it will be a disaster on the underworld….
"You're right. We should find them soon. We can't risk anyone getting their hands on them." He stated.
Roxas nodded. He took the box of Evil pieces. But then there was something he wanted to know about. He summoned the Records and asked it about the "King Piece".
"King pieces are rare Evil Pieces, created in the early days of the rating games' existence by Ajuka Beelzebub. They were judged to be dangerous due to the potential of rouge devils to abuse them. So their production stopped early on. Two of them right now are in the possession of Roygun Belphegor and Bedeze Abaddon."
After he read that out loud, he looked at Ajuka, who heard what he said, with wide eyes and Ajuka was giving him the same look. The tension in the room remained for some time before Ajuka broke the silence.
"Well….Damn."
