"How the hell did they get their hands on a king piece!?"

"I don't know!... I'm going to look up the Records!"

After Ajuka heard about the king piece being in possession of someone, he went complete ballistic. Looks like the king piece is really dangerous for Ajuka to react like that. So Roxas did as he said and asked the Records….

"They were given these king pieces by the Old Devils of the Great King faction in order to manipulate the Rating Games economics. They sought to manipulate the Rating Games from behind the scenes in order to increase their influence and make more money, by fixing matches by bestowing certain Pure-blooded Devils from the 72 Pillars with king Pieces and using bribery to obtain the commercial rights for the popularity obtained by competing in Rating Games. The reason why the top-ranked Rating Game contestants don't have much change in rank is due to Old Devils who are secretly controlling things in order to reap the benefits of the matches, managing the tug-of-war state so that there are perfect adjustments to balance it out in order to generate a lot of money."

A heavy silence filled the room once Roxas finished reading. Ajuka didn't like what he heard in the slightest…. And how can he do?... the Old devils are manipulating the Rating Games and giving king pieces to some Devils in order to make more money.

After Ajuka managed to calm down, the tension in the room died down a little bit before Roxas broke the silence.

"And nobody was able to notice…?"

Be froe Ajuka could answer him; the Records beat him to it.

"The Devil known as Cleria Belial took an interest in the rumors and managed to confirm the King Piece existence, but the Old Devils had her killed and covered it up, blaming her death on the fact that she had entered into a romantic relationship with the human exorcist known as Masaomi Yaegaki."

After Roxas finished reading again, Ajuka released a sigh in irritation.

"So Cleria was innocent after all. I should have investigated about this further." Ajuka said.

"But if they have king Pieces, shouldn't we arrest them?" asked Roxas.

Ajuka shook his head. "We can't have them arrested without proof. If they have a King Piece, then they're probably hiding it. So we're going to need to find out where first."

After a while of thinking, Roxas seemed to have a light bulb on his head.

"Then what if we didn't need to find them…?"

Ajuka looked at him in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"Remember, we have the records. So building a lying detector shouldn't be that hard. And when it's finished, we can interrogate the top-ranked Rating Game contestants and the Old Devils to find out who exactly has a connection to the king piece." Roxas finished explaining.

Ajuka eyes widened before a grin appeared on his face. Then that grind widened, and then it became a full laughter.

"ahahah….AHAHAHAHA." Roxas just kept looking at him with a raised eyebrow.

After his laughter died down, he looked towards Roxas with his eyes close and his head shaking back and forth.

"You know…. Sometimes I don't really believe that we have the ultimate library in our hands. Without it, I don't even know what we were going to do."

"Correction, the ultimate library is in my hands."

"Yeah, I know. And thank Satan it's you and nobody else. Now, shouldn't we commence with the plan?" Roxas nodded and together, they began working again.

These Records are truly a cheat.

Right now, Ajuka, Sirzechs and Roxas were looking at a rather... strange device.

"Why does it look like an electric chair for execution?"

The one who asked that was Roxas, as he kept eyeing the supposed-to-be a lying detector. Instead it looked like he said…. and electric chair, but looked more futuristic.

Sirzechs had his eyebrow raised before asking. "And that is…?"

"Well, it's supposed to be a lying detector. And honestly that was the first design that came up to my mind." Ajuka clarified.

"Riiight. And…. What's it for?" asked Sirzechs.

"Well, you'll have to see for yourself. Did you do what I asked?"

Sirzechs nodded. "Yes, I've already summoned them. They should be here soon."

"Great, now we can test it."

After Ajuka finished, Sirzechs looked towards his brother, leaned towards his ear and whispered. "You know what this all about?"

Roxas nodded.

"You're going to tell me?"

Roxas shook his head.

Sirzechs just breathed a sigh.

After a while, the Old Devils and the Rating Game contestants were standing outside the interrogation room, with only Roxas, Ajuka, Sirzechs and the new arrival Zekram Bael. He is a middle aged man with black hair and violet eyes and wears a noble attire.

"What's this about, Ajuka?" asked Zekram.

"You'll find out soon, Great King. Now let's start with the first suspect."

After he said that. The first suspect was a handsome man with blonde hair and noble clothes.

"Ruval Phoenix, please sit down here." Said Ajuka as he pointed to the chair. Ruval bowed before he sat down.

"Now listen closely, we are going to ask you a simple question. If you say the truth, nothing will happen. If you lied, you will be electrocuted. And we will know if you're lying or not. Understand?"

Ruval nodded. "Yes, Ajuka-sama."

"Good. Now answer me this. Are you in possession or have any connection with the King Piece?"

After Ajuka asked that question, Zekram and Sirzechs narrowed their eyes. They turned to Ajuka and zekram asked. "What do you mean by this, Ajuka?" he asked with a serious tone.

"Just like you heard, Great King. Someone has been using a King Piece in the Rating Games. Now, would you answer me Ruval?"

Ruval spoke without hesitation. "No, Ajuka-sama. I would never fall so low for me to do that."

The chair didn't react. Of course, Roxas and Ajuka knew why. But not Zekram and Sirzechs.

Ajuka nodded and spoke. "Thanks, Ruval. You may leave."

"Thank you, Ajuka-sama."

Well, tthat's one. Nine to go.

The interrogation went smoothly, that's until it was Roygun Belphegor's turn.

"Rougun Belphegor. Are you in possession or have any connection with a King Piece?"

Roygun looked nervous. And she was sweating like crazy. "O-of course not Aju-" but before she finished. The chair zapped her really, really hard.

"AAAAAHHHHHH" she screamed. After the chair stopped, Zekram and Sirzechs eyes were wide.

"R-Roygun! You have a King Piece?!" asked the shocked Great King.

"G-Great King, I…I…"

"You don't have anything to say. Guards, take her out of here." Ordered Zekram.

"To think that they'll be using the King Piece…." Wondered Sirzechs.

Not just that. The same also happened with Bedeze Abaddon and a few elders from the Great King Fiction. To say that Zekram was angry would be an understatement. He was angry as shit. After all that ended, the elders were punished and Bedeze and Roygun were stripped from their titles, demoted to high class devils and got forbidden from participating in Rating Games. Only one thing was remaining.

Roxas, Sirzechs, Ajuka and Zekram were standing in front of a gray haired man with a graceful face and gray eyes. That was the champion of Rating Games. Diehauser Belial.

Zekram was the one who started talking. "Diehauser, I personally apologies for what happened to your cousin. We've already cleared her name in the underworld. But…. I'm willing to give you anything you desire, as compensation of what happened.

Diehauser looked at him for a long time. He then smiled and shook his head. "You don't have to do this, Great King. Clearing my cousin's name and brining her justice all I could ask for."

"You should thank Young Roxas here. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to find out who was using the King Piece. He's the one who you should thank." Said Ajuka.

"Really? Then I thank you, Roxas Gremory, for what you did. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask me."

"N-No, please, there's no need for that. I-it was the right thing to do. So no need to thank me."

After Diehauser left, Ajuka turned to Zekram. "Great king, I have a request."

Zekram turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "What is it, Ajuka?"

"he smiled and made the shocking request. "I want Roxas to study under me to become the next Beelzebub."

"HUH"

"W-wha…"

"Really?!"

After he shocked everyone, he continued, "yes, he has shown great intelligence for his age, adding to that his high growth rate, he will become the perfect candidate."

"And what makes you so sure about that?" asked the Great King.

"He has shown intelligence beyond anyone I've seen before. He's the one who gave me the notes to create this lying detector. And with his help, I was able to make Evil Pieces that can reincarnate anyone, including gods. And they could be ejected on command."

""WHAT?!"" exclaimed Sirzechs and Zekram at the same time.

Roxas, after his silence, spoke up. "That's right. Odin was my servant for 25 seconds."

"And because he's the one who also gave me information on how to make them, they are his property." Continued Ajuka.

Zekram and Sirzechs looked at Roxas with wide eyes. Their faces were priceless. Who would've expected a 13 years old kid to do something like that? And all the credit goes to The Akashic Records.

"Ahem…. If that's true, then you're right." Zekram said, he then turned to Roxas with a smile. "Roxas Gremory, from now on, you're Ajuka's decibel. You will get stronger and keep studying under him. And when the time comes, you will become the next Beelzebub." He finished.

Roxas looked at him with a serious face, and then nodded. "Yes, Great King."

Zekram nodded at him. Sirzechs then pulled him into a warm hug.

"I'm so proud of you, little brother."

"Thanks. Say Onii-sama, would you like to join my Peerage?"

"Hehe…believe me, if I wasn't the Lucifer I would."

Zekram then clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "Well then, it's time for everyone to go back to their work. Roxas, I expect Great things from you, so don't disappoint me."

"Yes, Great King."

"Good. Now Sirzechs, come on."

Sirzechs nodded and left behind Zekram, but not before giving a goodbye to his brother. Leaving Ajuka and Roxas alone.

"Well, I've got work to do. I still need to complete the machine. You better get to your training."

"Okay,Ajuka-sama."

"And please, call me Ajuka when we're alone."

"Very well then, Ajuka."

"Good."

Three months later.

After Ajuka's statement, Roxas began training with his brother and his Peerage. If he wants to get stronger then he needs to keep training.

Right now he was getting his ass handed to him by his brother's night, Souji Okita.

"Argh…." He grunted as he was pushed back the knight's sword.

"That can't be all you've got, Young master." He said as he began approaching him.

Roxas got on his feet and stood up. He held his cutlass sword in his grip and began thinking.

"Damn it, I can't keep going like this. I have to do it now." He thought. He then took a stance and readied the sword in his hand.

Souji stopped walking and began observing what he was doing. Then he brought his sword in front of him and readied for another slash.

"That's it. It's now or never." The young Gremory took a deep breath.

"Secret Technique: Tsubame Gaeshi."

At that very moment, Souji saw three blades slashing towards him. His eyes widened. There were three blades, on heading for his neck and two for his abdomen in two different directions. He couldn't escape, so he decided to block the most lethal one.

He brought up his sword and blocked the one going for his neck. But the other two still got him.

"Gah…" he Grunted, falling to the ground. His stomach was cut by the two other blades. Roxas rushed to him and gave him a vile of Phoenix Tears and his wounds began healing.

This was a technique Roxas learned from the Akashic Records. In order to use it, he has to deliver more than one slash at the same breath on completely flat ground. It was hard as shit but managed to do it. If he activated the runes on the sword it would be an instant win move.

Souji stood up with the help of Roxas. "That was a fearsome technique there, young master. How did you do it?"

Roxas smirked. "Everybody has his secrets, Souji."

Souji looked at him for some time before sighing. "Very well, young master. I must congratulate you, you managed to defeat me."

"Don't worry Souji, I only won because of this technique. Without it I would be kissing the floor."

Souji Chuckled and made his way to report this to Sirzechs. He's going to like this.

The teleportation circle died down and Roxas was at Ajuka's lab.

"Roxas, in time again. Here, I finished it. Take a look." Ajuka signled him to follow.

After some time, Ajuka lead him the machine. He found a huge black circular portal with a lot of wires coming from it.

"This is it."

He looked at the machine in awe. He finally can begin assembling his Peerage. This was the first step to his goal.

Ajuka handed him what looked like a small trigger. "This trigger will open you a portal once you want to get back."

"Finally. It's time. Can you activate it please, Ajuka?" the Beelzebub nodded and began adjusting the machine. Once he fished, a blue portal appeared inside.

"Well, wish me luck. See you later, Ajuka."

He began walking towards the portal.

His journey has just begun.

And that's the third chapter guys. The next chapter we'll be introducing the Peerage members.

Leave a review. Stay safe and goodbye.

And remember, I own nothing except the OC.
