Izuku was waiting downstairs dressed in comfortable black slacks with a buttoned white pinstripe blouse with the sleeves folded up to the elbows and a green shirt vest. He still wore his trademark red high tops. But when the elevator opened, Izuku felt his breath was stolen. Ochako had her hair pulled into a short ponytail at the back but she left her bangs alone. With some proper appliance of makeup her already natural beauty was more pronounced. He could catch a whiff of what smells like green tea and sakura. A heavenly scent. Ochako wore an unbuttoned leopard print cardigan over a pink floral print ruffle dress that reached to her knees, knee-high socks and brown shoes. She carried with her one of her hand purses that was themed after the Space Hero Thirteen.

The stares from their fellow classmates was promptly ignored.

"Y-you l-look... amazingly beautiful," Izuku stuttered, blushing.

Ochako blushed at his compliment, as she moved closer to him. She then caught his scent. It smells like sweet oatmeal and cinnamon. Was that his brand of deodorant or body spray? Whatever it was, she loved those scents mixed with his natural scent.

"And you are very handsome looking, Deku-kun," she tells the boy.

Izuku smiled, cheeks still bright red.

Both were blushing.

"S-so, s-shall we?"

"Yeah. Let's go."

The couple left the dorm building.

Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka were going to happily spent the afternoon together on a Sunday.

"So, who's up for a bet they're lovers by the end of the night?" questions Ashido.

=0=0=0=0=0=0=

So the date would consist of these things:

1) Figure out something to do.

2) Go to the restaurant that Izuku made reservations at to enjoy a quiet meal together.

3) Go to the movies.

4) Get back home to 1-A Heights Alliance Dormitory.

Simple enough. Just your typical standard date. So that 'figure out something to do' led the couple to the arcades. At first they just browsed through the rows of gaming cabinets until one caught Izuku's eye. Normally he enjoyed Pro Hero Smash (and its sequels) but his second favorite genre was spotted: bullet hell shooters.

"Want to try this one, Uraraka?" asked Izuku.

She glanced at the title on the cabinet. Touhou Tenkuushou ~ Hidden Star in Four Seasons (東方天空璋 〜 Hidden Star in Four Seasons., lit. "Eastern Heavenly Jade Dipper").

"This looks a bit old, Deku-kun."

"It is supposedly a pre-quirk gaming series that saw a resurgence about ten years ago. I discovered it by accident when I was ten and it kinda got me hooked. I managed to find copies of all the official titles from Highly Responsive to Prayers to Wily Beast and Weakest Creature. Although the first five were good to play, I really got into it when I played Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. Hidden Star in Four Seasons is the sixteenth title in the series."

Ochako smiled though. Seeing Deku smiling made her happy.

"Well, I guess I'll give it a try," she says. "But could you teach me, please?"

He blushed again "S-sure thing!"

She giggled, blushing herself.

After fifteen minutes, Ochako stops playing. She only managed to get to Stage Two of the game.

"That was hard."

"There's a reason games like this are called bullet hell. Danmaku is a bitch."

She gasped. Deku said a swear? Impossible!

"Deku!"

"Sorry! It just slipped. Sometimes mom yells at me when I kinda get in the zone... similar to my quirk analysis mumbles..."

He was embarrassed.

"... Wow... you're not as much an innocent cinnamon bun, Deku-kun," she said, a smirk forming.

Izuku just moaned.

Ochako giggled.

"Don't worry too much, Deku-kun. Sometimes... it just feels good to curse. If you ever feel like you are having a bad day, telling the universe to go fuck itself makes things better."

Izuku's head snapped up, eyes wide in shock. Then he started to grin, quickly followed by a soft laugh.

"And I thought you were bubbly and innocent, Uraraka."

She gave him a light playful punch to the arm.

"Deku! We're teenagers! We can swear... just not around our parents or Aizawa-sensei."

Izuku agreed with that statement.

"Say, why don't you show me how good you really are with this game?"

Izuku smiles more. "Sure."

And Ochako stood next to him as Izuku began a new game on the cabinet. For a good fifteen minutes she was amazed at how Izuku maneuvered his chosen character through the seemingly impossible-to-dodge colorful bullets, firing back with his own danmaku and wisely using his bombs in critical moments. But his game ended when he reached the Stage Four boss Narumi Yatadera.

"Wow... you are good, Deku-kun."

He smiles. "Thanks. Want to try another game? You can choose this time."

She nodded.

They played a couple more games, spending another thirty minutes at the arcades. Izuku even managed to win a rare gold-plated Thirteen figurine from a crane game. It was something Ochako loved and gushed over when he handed it to her. They soon left the arcades and the couple headed towards a restaurant that Izuku had made reservations at. Following directions on his phone, they got to the location in time.

"This looks a bit fancy, Deku," said Ochako, as they entered the building. It was apparently a buffet restaurant with cuisine from all over Japan as well as Chinese and American cuisine.

"My mom suggested this place. Apparently it's where she and my dad went to on their first date..."

Ochako glanced at Izuku. She knew that the subject regarding his dad was a bit of a sensitive subject; aside Bakugo she's the only other person who really knew what happened to the missing Mr. Midoriya (he left when Izuku was diagnosed quirkless at four years of age and never returned). Before she could speak up, Izuku started smiling again.

"But I'm getting to share this night with you so it makes me happy."

Ochako smiles sincerely.

"I am, too, Deku-kun."

They got a window seat. After ordering their drinks, iced barley tea, they then get up and went over to the buffet. After filling their plates with what they found yummy, they returned to their table.

"I'm certain you'd have gotten katsudon."

Izuku chuckles. "Yeah... but if I'm going to be honest, I'd rather have mom's katsudon. She just makes it so good..."

Ochako giggled.

"Well... maybe I can make you some katsudon next time?"

Izuku once again gets a blush attack.

"Ahh... uhh... t-that would be nice, Uraraka. I'm looking forward to it."

Ochako's blush marks on her cheeks became more prominent as redness fills around them. They start enjoying their meal. But in just two minutes they started some casual conversation with topics lingering around school work, quirk training, their friends back at the dorms, and even discussed about their parents. The forty-five minutes was spent with light-hearted laughter and smiles. A couple patrons in the restaurant would stare at them for a few seconds before looking away. Many though could tell the two teens were likely on a date, and it looked like it was a lot of fun for them. Ah, to be young and in love, some adults would say. After enjoying some dessert, which was some strawberry and green tea mochi, they left the restaurant once Izuku paid.

"Do you want to go see a movie, Uraraka?"

She nods. "Yeah. A movie sounds nice."

"Okay. When we get to the theater, you can choose what to watch."

"You sure, Deku-kun?" she questioned the greenette.

He nods, giving her a warm smile.

As they walked to the theater, Izuku pulls Ochako closer to him. She did not mind him doing so and enjoyed walking close to him.

The time was seven pm and at 1-A Heights Alliance Dormitory, the rest of Class A were just digging into tonight's prepared dinner.

"They're still out. And it's already past curfew," said Iida.

"They're on a date, Iida! Let them have fun!"

"But I doubt even Aizawa would care if they're on a date past curfew," Kaminari pointed out.

"Who cares if Deku and Round Face are out late," grumbled Bakugo, enjoying his dinner which was loaded with extra spicy goodness.

"I am curious how their date is going," Jiro says aloud.

Ashido smirked. "We should ask for details tomorrow."

"Maybe they're going to spend the night at a love hotel and fu-"

CLANG!

Mineta got hit in the head by a frying pan. He is out cold.

"Asui!?" Iida shouted in shock.

Asui just shrugged, as her tongue sets the frying pan she snagged back down on the kitchen counter.

"I highly doubt that Ochako and Midoriya would do something like have sex right after a first date, kero." And she calmly returns to enjoying her dinner.

Some of the other students had light blushes forming when the word sex was brought up.

Bakugo scoffed angrily.

"As if Deku will score," the blond teen growled and eats more angrily (if it was possible).

"Say, does anyone even know what Midoriya had planned for his date with Uraraka?" Sero spoke up.

They blinked.

None of them knew what the date was going to unfold... or how long it was going to be.

"Hopefully, they are enjoying each other's company," said Yaoyorozu with a smile.

"Of course they're enjoying each other's company," Kirishima spoke up. "Those two are as close as thieves. No offense, Iida, but those two are just hanging off each other without realizing it even with you as a third wheel."

Iida sputtered a bit. "I don't know how to take that, but I do agree they are really close."

Byousoku 5 Centimeter was the movie that Ochako selected for them to watch. It was an old anime film from the pre-quirk era, but it was a really good one (according to Ochako when she saw reviews about it a couple weeks ago). They found good seats, seeing that about a good twenty-seven seats were filled. They chose to sit in the back but close to the aisle. Sixty five minutes was lost for the two as the film played through three episodes. Episode 1: Cherry Blossom (桜花抄, Ōkashō). It was very sweet how the main characters formed a very close bond in elementary, even speaking each other's given names with no honorifics (a sign of deep friendship and familiarity). Izuku couldn't help but get the feels when near the end of the episode the two main characters shared their kiss before each moved far away. Episode 2: Cosmonaut (コスモナウト, Kosumonauto) started laying down the emotions when the male main character, now a high schooler, still has feelings of longing for the main female character unaware of another side character being in love with him, yet he remains oblivious and only treats her as a friend. Episode 3: 5 Centimeters per Second (秒速5センチメートル, Byōsoku Go Senchimētoru) is where all the feels hit you. Near the end of the film, Izuku and Ochako were crying. Thankfully they weren't the only ones in the theater who got really sappy and teary-eyed at how the film ended.

But it was a good movie.

And here we find the couple now exiting, having composed themselves.

"Wow... Ochako, that was... freaking emotional."

"I know, Izuku. God, the third episode got to me."

As they walk down the sidewalk, they stopped. They realized they had addressed each other by their first names. Their faces turned pink.

"Sorry!"

They blink.

"You know... it's okay if... you call me Izuku," the greenette whispers shyly.

Ochako could only nod, her voice temporarily lost.

"Y-you can... call me Ochako..."

The smiles slowly grew. Izuku held an arm out. She hooks with him and they resume walking. It was quiet between them as they find themselves entering Musutafu Municipal Park. It was late now. Izuku took out his phone to check the time.

"Wow... it's almost eight pm!"

"Eight pm? Oh... shit! We've already missed curfew!" Ochako cursed.

Izuku chuckled nervously.

"I'm sorry our date was long, Ochako."

"No!" she shouted, before composing herself. "I mean... don't worry, Izuku. I really loved tonight."

They find an empty park bench and sit down. Silence. Nothing but the ambient sounds of a mostly empty park, the chirp of insects, and the near quiet hum of the nearby lamp post giving its luminescence for them.

"Ochako?"

"Yes?"

Izuku looks to the brunette. He stared for a bit, taking in the beautiful brown eyes she has, the cute pink spots that adorn her cheeks. She... really looked beautiful.

"Izu?"

Izuku breaks his thoughts.

"Ochako... do you remember how we first met?" he asked.

"Yeah. You tripped and almost hit the ground but I caught you with my quirk and saved you from suffering under a bad omen. At first I thought you looked plain-looking..."

Izuku chuckled. He recalls that, too, from the clip in the recording in his acceptance letter.

"But... then I remember a brave hero who put it all on the line to save me from being crushed by a giant robot, by punching its face in."

"But you saved me a second time before I would become street pizza."

"Yeah." She was a bit embarrassed recalling how exactly she saved him; a slap to the face just to get her five pink pads to make touch thus render him weightless and save him from dying.

"I thought I had failed the exams. But when I got my acceptance letter, I was shown a clip of the cute girl I met trying to convince the school to give me some of her points so I could pass," Izuku tells Ochako.

Ochako blushed brightly.

"Because of my saving you, I got those rescue points, which gave me the points necessary to be accepted and have my dream finally come true. And when the first day of school came, my first year as a high schooler, there you are."

She smiles happily. She remembers. She was very happy to have Izuku as a classmate.

"Well, in these passing months, we've both grown as individuals."

"Yeah. I was learning how to control my quirk better thanks to everyone I have met who supported me and helped me. And I got to inspire a lot of people."

"Like me," she whispers.

"Ochako... out of everyone in my life, I am very happy that I got to meet you. You... you give me the strength to keep moving forward."

Ochako gasped softly.

"Izuku... you're the one who gives me the strength to keep walking, to keep at my training, to be my very best as a future pro hero."

He stares at her. She stares back. She gets lost in the green orbs that were his eyes. She always liked the color of his eyes. They matched those fluffy locks of hair on top his head. And the freckles on his cheeks. He looked so innocent. But she knew that under the clothes was a muscular frame from all the training he's done to control his quick's power. Then she glances to his arm with the scars. Scars that were badges, a story to tell.

"I love you, Ochako."

"... Huh?"

"We became best friends at the start of school. But as these months went by, I couldn't deny my feelings no more. I have fallen in love with you."

"Izu..." She sniffled.

"Ocha?"

"I'm in love with you, too."

He gasped softly.

"R-really?"

"Yes," she whispers, lovingly.

Their faces were pink around their cheeks as they closed the gap between them, on instinct. Their lips met. A tingle of electricity run through them. It was good. A first kiss. When they part, they stared in each other's eyes. Izuku slips his hands around her back. Ochako moved her hands onto his shoulders, index fingers kept up. They leaned in and shared another kiss. This second kiss was longer and with more emotion.

=0=0=0=0=0=0=

It was nine o'clock at night when the couple had finally arrived back to 1-A Heights Alliance Dormitory.

"I really had a wonderful time, Izuku," said Ochako, softly giggling.

Izuku was very happy.

"I loved it, too, honey."

In the park, they had confessed. Tonight, their relationship had shifted. They were friends who grew close to one another, and now they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. They have found happiness in the other. Izuku would do anything for Ochako, and Ochako would do whatever she could to help Izuku.

"Say... before we go inside... how about a kiss?"

Izuku smirked.

"If that's what my darling Chako desires..."

He pulls her up to him and locks lips with the girl. She moans happily returning the kiss with passion. When air became an issue they break it off.

"One more kiss," said Ochako.

Izuku nods. "Okay."

And they kiss once again. Soft moans escape them, clinging to each other.

"One more kiss," she says after a minute of lip-locking.

Izuku chuckles.

"Really?"

"Izu baby," she cutely whimpers.

"I can't deny my hime."

They kiss once again. It was deep, passionate. But Ochako moaned when she felt the tip of his tongue trying to probe past her lips. She opens the gap a bit and his tongue laps up along the tip of her tongue. She pushed back against his tongue. The moans got more adult as they frenched each other. Izuku's hands were starting to slide down to her butt while she was grabbing a fistful of his vest and shirt. When they part from the kiss, a thin bridge of saliva connect their lower lips. They panted softly, looking flushed.

The door opens and standing there with his trademarked glare was their teacher Shouta Aizawa. And he's wearing cat-themed pajama pants with matching buttoned top.

"Do you two kids have any idea what time it is?" he barked gruffly. Boy, he sounds like a dad right now.

The two teens blushed in embarrassment.

"It's already long past curfew and it's a school night," he continues.

They knew they were going to get in trouble for being out long past curfew. However, they were going to enjoy their date for as long as possible and risk detention up to when they finally returned to the school.

"Get upstairs and to your rooms," he finally said.

"Sorry, dad," they say solemnly and walk past the man and took the staircase.

A minute passed.

"Wait, did they call me dad?"

On Ochako's floor, Izuku was with his girlfriend at her bedroom door.

"I really loved our date, Izuku," she said quietly, to not disturb the others on the floor.

"So did I, Ochako," Izuku says in agreement.

They shared a final long kiss, before she opens her door and slips inside.

"Night, Izu baby."

"Goodnight, my darling Chako."

The door closed with a soft click. He heard her giggle in excitement in her room. He left for the second floor, entering his room and closing the door. The second the door was shut, Izuku let out a squee of excitement and ran to his bed, flopping down happily.

He has a girlfriend now.

He was dating Ochako Uraraka.

Inside her room, Ochako was very giddy as she lay in bed.

She has a boyfriend now.

She was dating Izuku Midoriya.

I'm so happy, is the shared thought in the heads of Izuku and Ochako.

They knew that their fellow classmates and friends would want details. But until the next day, both would just bask on the emotions of happiness, allowing those feelings to lull them to a restful sleep with good dreams of one day having a family together.

All this in a day, off the top of my head while I was at work today (9/1/2020).

It was a bit distracting during my work hours, but I got it out. Hopefully it's a good read. It's obvious I ship IzuOcha. Hope it truly becomes canon in the manga. NaruHina did for Kishimoto's manga.
