Summary: The Second Bloody Valentine War has long been ended and peace treaty between Coordinators and Natural has been signed. Life After the war is not easy for Cagalli when she leant about a betrayal within her mansion.
The Second Bloody Valentine War has long been ended and peace treaty between Coordinators and Natural has been signed. Everyone is adjusting with their new life but are working hard to maintain peace on earth and on Plants. Some people are still not used living in a neutral nation like Orb. Plants is also now accepting tourist from Earth and some employees but with extra care for security purposes.
Cagalli Yula Athha, the Chief Representative of Orb is well admired not only in Earth but also in Plants. People look up to her on how she could manage not just the whole nation of Orb but also as the Representative of Earth for the Peace Treaty. Still, she is only human and a woman to be exact. She always has to wake up early despite the fact that she is not a morning person.
"Good Morning My Princess Please wake up now you still have to work" Myrna said while shaking the body of the fierce blond girl.
"Urgh! Who the hell are you to wake me up?! I'm still sleep-y" Cagalli shouted.
But upon glancing at the person who dares to wake her up she immediately fixed herself and stands up. The woman who stand as her mother figure since she was a child is now in front of, crossed armed and tapping her foot while staring at her.
"Language Princess, fix yourself now breakfast is ready" Myra said. She is one of people she trusts the most.
Cagalli kissed Myrna's cheeks and greeted her. She checked the time and its just six in the morning. Cagalli wondered why Myrna was in her room. She was about to ask but Myrna answered all the question she has in her mind.
"Master Athrun was called by Kisaka. According to him, they have an early meeting to plan the security for the upcoming visit of Miss Lacus and Master Kira for the celebration of your birthday and Master Kira's. He went here to wake you up and tell it by himself but you look so tired so he just bid you a goodbye kiss. He said he will make it up for dinner." Myrna said while combing Cagalli's hair.
"Well, you did answer all of my question. Haist, I understand…but is that all? I mean Kisaka seems suspicious since Athrun came back" Cagalli said while pouting.
"Well, He is your guardian and you know how he is overly-protective he is especially to you my Princess" Her Nanny said as they walk down the aisle to eat breakfast.
Cagalli did not see Athrun all day. She even went to Morgenroete had a surprise visit but unfortunately Athrun and Kisaka already left. She has been busy arguing with the other council for the upcoming celebration but it all went much as expected. They really piss her off all the time.
Cagalli stormed in her office and did not notice a figure sitting on the couch. She was mumbling words and stomping hard while walking to her desk. Cagalli is so frustrated since she wakes up and was about to punch the desk when someone twisted her the other way around and hug her.
"Wah! Athrun? How?" Cagalli said as she is now on her Red Knight's tight embrace.
"I'm so tired and I have to energize so I sneak out on my duties and on Kisaka's watch to recharge" Said by Athrun who really sounded very tired.
"Kisaka haven't forgiven you yet so he is punishing you with a lot of duties in the military" Cagalli giggled at the thought and returned his embrace.
She already forgot why she was frustrated. She can hear Athrun heavy sigh that makes her worry. He is a coordinator and a Gundam Pilot, he was a veteran soldier. So, him saying he was tired really means he has been working a lot. Athrun kissed Cagalli which made her blush while he strokes her hair gently. They hug each other for they feel like forever but everything has come to an end.
Her intercom rang with her secretaries' voice in a panic.
"Miss Cagalli, I receive a notification from the guards that Col. Kisaka is on his way and he dos not look pleased at all. I think he is to get… Um Admiral Zala" Lia her secretary said.
"Thank you, Lia, for your support! We'll take care on it. Have a quick break first" Cagalli said and sat down.
"I'll be having my break then Cagalli-Sama" with that Lia went on a break as she knows what might happen. It's always like that and at the end Kisaka the very calm Colonel ends up shouting with Cagalli.
"We have to do something; he really is overdoing it now." Cagalli said while pouting and tapping her finger on her desk.
"I understand why he is doing it. He wants me to prove myself" Athrun answered his love as he kneels down and hold her hand. "I will prove it to him, to Kira, I will prove to Orb to the whole world that I am worthy to be on your side forever"
Cagalli's face is now red as Athrun kiss her hand. He genuinely smiled at her and she smiled back.
"Well, make sure to be at home by 9 I will discuss the result of the investigation and I now know how a certain someone betrayed me" Cagalli said smirking. Thinking it will now all end.
"I understand well don't work to hard and always remember. Iodine Lutetium Vanadium Yttrium Oxygen Uranium" With that he kissed her one last time and jumped out of veranda to escape from the angry tanned man.
Just the moment he jumped, the door on Cagalli's office slammed. The tanned man really looks tired probably run to her office and looks frustrated. Cagalli smiled at the view seeing how Kisaka looks uncomposed and how Athrun is learning some of her tactic on escaping Kisaka's watch.
"His not here anymore. He just said hi and went back. Kisaka, please give him some break" the blond said while signing the documents Lia gave her before the meeting.
"Tell him to be more responsible. We do not need two ruler of Orb who loves to escape their escorts all the time" Kisaka who is now calming himself and fixing his uniform.
"We will have a talk tonight. Be at the Mansion by 9 I will need to discuss a betrayal I was able to investigate. We need to discuss this immediately" Cagalli look serious while staring at Kisaka.
"What?!Why not now? What if something happens to you?" The Colonel raised his voice at the thought.
"It's personal, I cannot… I cannot believe about that I was hurt and I want to tackle this personally"
"I understand. We will be there"
Kisaka left the office and it really shows how worried he is. But the representative smiled at the thought now she can be sure Athrun will have some rest. Lia came back from her break and entered the office to ask what Cagalli needed but all she got was the smirking princess.

The Athha Mansion is now at rest but the chamber of Cagalli is still busy as four figures present and has a serious conversation. Cagalli sitting beside Athrun while holding his hand and a folder on her other hand. In front of them, Kisaka and Myrna who looks confused on why they are summoned at that time.
"I'm very happy and grateful that the two of you looked after me ever since I was a child you two became my second or third parents somehow. But…I'm disappointed that you two betrayed me" Cagalli who is holding Athruns hand so tight. A tear was forming at the crest of her eyes.
"Cagalli…what are you talking about… when did I betray you and how?" Kisaka who looks so frustrated at the words he heard.
"My Princess, I will never betray you not before and now." Myrna who also now teary eyed as she thinks what Cagalli was saying.
"You two have been separating me and Athrun for my sake. I understand that…but you could atleast told me…that…" Cagalli now covering her face.
"hey, calm down" Athrun said as he holds her in his arm.
"We will schedule a wedding as soon as possible either public or private it should happen as soon as possible. A baby bump is hard to hide. Since, it's just 3 months we need take action immediately" Cagalli who is now again facing her two guardians.
"What! Athrun we have an agreement this is a disgrace for Cagalli! What do you mean Cagalli we did not tell you! You are a smart young lady how could you not now that if you to did it you will be have a baby!" Kisaka is now shouting on top of his lungs
"My Princess… if you feel we are betraying you by separating you two please forgive us. This is what we are avoiding, Lord Uzumi and people of Orb want to see you have your wedding first before having a baby" Myrna explained as calm as possible.
"You two what are you talking about! I'm talking about you two! You betrayed me!"Cagalli who is now shouting and throw the documents she is holding.
"Up until when you two will hide it from me that… Kisaka and Myrna are having a child!You two are my guardians but I never thought you two hooking Up and having a baby!"
Athrun was now smiling at the two guardians of Cagalli who is now blushing so hard looking awkwardly at them.
"All this time I will be only your princess! But now you will have your own little princess! How could you betray me and hide this news to me! You should not be ashamed by this Myrna it's a blessing" Cagalli hugged Myrna while crying.
It's obvious Kisaka was shock with the news. The two explained how it happened when Cagalli calmed down. It seems that the maids and escorts at the Mansion had a party when Athrun and Cagalli reconcile after the Second Valentine War and the two drink to much alcohol and it happened. After an agreement the two left Cagalli's chamber and privately talk about a possible wedding.
"Well…at least he will have a lesser time on me" Athrun said as he holds Cagallis's hand going outside.
Athrun and Cagalli are on her veranda watching the stars. Athrun wrapped his hands around Cagalli's waist and rest his head on her shoulder. The two remained silent for a while and enjoying how peaceful the place is.
"Well since they will have their own wedding. We need to wait for a while before we could have ours. Since Kira and Lacus will have the ceremony next that Okay?" Cagalli who is now facing Athrun while still in his embrace.
"I'm in no rush. I respect your decision; besides I still have to prove myself to the world I'm worthy to be your husband. While doing so I'm happy and satisfied being by your side as your admiral, your body guard and your especially as your fiancé."
Athrun kissed Cagalli's forehead then the tip of her nose and then landing on her lips. It's been so long since they have this moment together. They are happy to be together there's no need to rush they know what to prioritize and they respect each other's priority. Their love will not be base on politics. Plants and Orb Council are pressuring them to marry as it also symbolizes peace between the two nation.
Their love was formed by understanding and accepting each other at worst and supporting on their success. A love not base on looks, money or social status. He loved her not because she was the Princess of Orb. She loves him not because he is the war hero of Plants. They love each other because they're Cagalli and Athrun. A love formed and matured between two wars is a proof that they can do everything as long as they have each other.
"Cagalli…Iodine Lutetium Vanadium Yttrium Oxygen Uranium"
"Ugh… stop that! say it, normally will you?" Cagalli who now sounds irritated
"I Love you my Queen" Athrun said while staring at Cagalli's eye.
"I love you more and more and more you dummy hamster head" Cagalli kissed Athrun and went straight to her room to call it the night.
