Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't updated in a while, I have been busy. But enough with all that, let's get down to business.

The Devil and the Fairies
The Sun was just now setting over the town, and the last of the cars had just left town. After being informed of the situation, the townspeople all made a beeline out of the small town, so not to get caught up in the upcoming battle. The sun had made it's final descent and the sky now had turned black, stars lit up the sky with the full moon.
The scene was being observed by none other than Dante, as he stood on top of his shop Devil May Cry. He looked up at the moon and saw a little bit of red forming in the corner, he smiled.
In the middle of the town's park, another party was also observing the change in the moon's color. Natsu, Erza, and Grey all stood determined and ready. Behind then, Wendy and Lucy we're both shaking a bit, neither of them looking forward to this.
"Aw come on Moon, turn red already!" Natsu complained
"Yelling at the moon isn't gonna make it go any faster." Grey reminded.
"I don't like waiting for a fight; I wanna smack some demons!" Natsu exclaimed
"Be patient, they'll be here soon." Erza said "Morrison told us when the moon turns blood red the demons will come." She smirked "Personally, I myself am looking forward to it."
Grey smirked as well "Same here, this should be a lot more fun than taking out some measly dark guild, maybe we can get a bit of a work out."
"You guys are happy about all this?! Am I the only sane one here!?" Lucy exclaimed
"Such is Fairy Tail's strongest team!" Happy announced
"Um… I'm starting to have second thoughts about this." Wendy said nervously, while shaking
"I did advise against you coming here child." Carla reminded.
"Don't worry Wendy." Natsu said as he turned to her "Just stay by me and you'll be alright. Plus you're an important member of this team too, you're a dragon slayer, you got this."
Wendy smiled at this, Natsu was always like the big brother she never had. She was glad one of the people she looked up to spoke highly of her. Carla smiled a bit at this as well, glad that someone in the guild could help protect Wendy. But the cat's smile faded when Happy approached her.
"You should stay with me Carla, I'll keep you safe." Happy said as he took a stance like a knight.
"Not a chance" she said simply, as Happy was then dejected and fell to the ground face first.
"Um guys…" Lucy said, getting everyone's attention. She pointed up, and as they looked in the direction of the sky, the moon had just turned completely red. Almost immediately, arcs of red lightning appeared in front of the moon and begun to surge uncontrollably as a red light formed in the center.
"Looks like this is it." Grey assumed as he threw away his shirt (again)
"You're Stripping Now!" Lucy exclaimed
"Be ready everyone!" Erza announced as she requipped into her Heaven's Wheel Armor, holding a sword in each hand.
"About time! I'm all fired up now!" Natsu exclaimed as his hands we're engulfed in fire. "You ready Happy?"
"Aye sir!"
The red light began to expand until it completely eclipsed the red moon and a dark red swirling vortex formed. This was the portal. After two seconds, many figures then began to fly out, they we're demons.
Each demon was alike in appearance. They appeared almost like humanoid canines, with dark blue fur and claws, with bright red eyes. They all appeared to have large bat-like wings, enabling them to fly. Each one was at least six feet tall. They all snarled and roared as the demons began to descent on the city.
"HOLY CRAP! That's a lot of demons!" Lucy yelled in pure fear.
"Now attack!" Erza exclaimed as she took to the air charging in blades blazing; while Happy took Natsu and flew after Erza, Carla and Wendy followed suit as well.
Meanwhile back at the Devil May Cry building. Dante saw many demons flow out of the portal and some flew straight towards him; no doubt catching the whiff of the son of Sparda.
Dante's smirk never ceased "Come on freaks, show me what you got." He urged as he pulled out his black and white pistols, Ebony and Ivory. He immediately began to fire. The magic bullets blasted out of his guns rapidly at the oncoming demons. The two most front demons we're torn to shreds and disintegrated into dust as soon as they died. Dante continued to fire as he ran to the edge of his roof and jumped off, he landed on top of a flying demon and shot it in the back of it's head. However, he failed to notice a demon flying straight towards him and slam him through the main window and into his shop.
Dante was able to angle himself so that the demon who tackled him hit the floor first. The impact forced it to let go of Dante, who kicked the demon away through his desk and into the wall.
He heard more snarls as more demons crashed in through the windows and walls all gunning for him as he stood in the center of the room. His smile was still on his face. Dante jumped high and began to spin his body while in the air and continue to fire more magic bullets and tore through all the demons that we're running, flying, or jumping towards him. As he landed he noticed that more and more demons kept pouring into the building, it was getting to cramped in here. His acute senses picked up the sound of gas wheezing and he turned to where he sent the first demon flying with a kick and saw that when it impacted the wall it broke open a gas pipe in the wall, which was leaking gas into the room.
Dante's smirk grew wider. He then made a run straight through the front door as he continued to shoot, maneuver around, and kick away any demon that made a grab for him. He made it to the front door and kicked it down, he turned around and saw that his shop was almost completely filled with demons. He saw a small opening, pointed his Ivory pistol and fired. The bullet flied past every demon without so much as scratching any of them, it then impacted the pipe then…
*BOOM!*
The explosion engulfed the entire building and sent Dante flying back several feet. He flipped and landed on both his feet and saw his building begin to crumble and be engulfed in flame, he couldn't help but sigh.
"Not again." He complained. But he couldn't whine too much about it, it was his idea, and it worked out. No time to whine or pat himself on the back, he turned around and saw the demons attack the abandoned city, this party is just getting started.
"Heaven's Wheel; Circle Swords!" Erza sent multiple blue waves with her swords that cut through every demon that made contact with them. She continued to fly through the air and cut down every demon that came her way.
"You would dare attack a defenseless city? Do you creatures have no shame!?" She shouted to the demons who merely responded with snarls and roars "If that is the case, then come forth and face your punishment! Requip, Black Wing Armor!" She switched into her black wing armor and continued her areal battle against the demons.
"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu unleashed a torrent of Flame from his mouth that turned three demons in front of him to charcoal.
"Nice shoot Natsu!" Happy congratulated as the flying cat continued to carry Natsu.
"Thanks Ha…" Natsu couldn't finish that sentence as two demons tackled the Salamander and he fell out of Happy's grip.
"Natsu!" He exclaimed, worried for his friend.
The demons tackled Natsu to the roof of a building. The two demons we're then immediately sent flying away by a large blast of fire. Natsu quickly got back up. "Come on! Don't tell me that's all you guys got!"
As soon as he said that 20 demons landed on the roof and circled him. Happy flew next to Natsu.
"Uh Natsu? I think you only made them mad." Happy commented nervously.
"Yeah, I was trying to." He turned to the demons "Hey you guys miss home? Well don't worry, cause I'm gonna send you all flying back to Hell! Then I'm gonna drag ya back here and send you flying again!"
The demons and Happy all sweat dropped at that, the statement not making any sense. One demon jumped straight for Natsu, a bad mistake on its part.
"Fire Dragon Iron Fist" The fire-engulfed fist impacted the demon's jaw and sent it flying into the sky, it twinkled in the sky as it flew out of sight. Many demons eyes bulged at seeing such strength in a human.
"Who's next?" Natsu asked as his body was lit on fire with a grin. The demons wasted no time in jumping in, Happy screamed as he hid behind Natsu as the son of Igneel smiled.
The park
Gray saw an explosion erupt from a nearby rooftop. "Probably Natsu" he guessed as he rolled his eyes. He turned back to an oncoming horde of demons. "Lets see what you freaks can do, huh?"
They charged and lept toward Grey, who jumped high in the air and pressed his fist to his palm "Ice Make: Hammer!" A giant hammer made of Ice formed and Grey used it to crush seven of the demons below him.
Grey landed on his feet and turned around to see six more demons charging toward him "Ice Make: Lance!" a volley of ice lances blasted from his hands and tore through the demons like tissue paper.
However, before he could pat himself on the back, a flying demon tackled Grey and they both landed into a large pond. There we're some ripples in the water, then silence. Five seconds later, the demon was shot out, with several ice-spikes impaling it in five different places. Grey shot out of the water, and saw more than ten demons land in the pond, the water up to all their waists.
"Putting me in water was a bad idea." Grey warned. The demons then moved to attack, but Grey quickly put his hands to the water's surface "Freeze!" The water instantly froze and the demons in the water we're completely frozen from the inside out. Grey got out of the water and stood on the ice. "I tried to warn ya."
Meanwhile, in the streets, a girly scream could be heard as Lucy was being chased by running and flying demons right behind her. "Why are you coming after me!? Shouldn't you be going after Natsu or Erza!?"
The demons responded with roars as the continued to chase the blonde celestial wizard through the streets. "Okay, I'm not gonna take this anymore." Lucy said as she took out one of her golden keys "Open, Gate of the Maiden: Virgo!"
With that, the front-most demons in the pack we're blown away as the celestial spirt, Virgo burst out of the ground. Many demons halted in they're path at the sight of the celestial spirit.
"You wish to punish me Princess?" Virgo asked
"No, I need you to punish them!" Lucy shouted as she pointed rapidly to the demons.
"As you wish." Virgo said as she drilled underground. Two demons heard the sounds of drilling underneath them and looked to the ground with question marks over their heads. Virgo blasted out of the ground and grabbed the demons by the legs and begun to spin so rapidly it almost looked like a fan. Virgo, still spinning, sped to the rest of the demons and bashed them all away. When she was finished, Virgo dropped the two dead demons she used for weapons.
"Thanks a million Virgo." Lucy thanked with a huge sigh of relief.
"You are quite welcome Princess." Virgo bowed. She turned her attention to the red moon "A portal to the demon world?"
"Yeah. How'd you know?" Lucy asked
"Many celestial spirits are quite familiar with that particular realm that Sparda worked to seal away."
"You know about Sparda?!" Lucy questioned
"Of course, he was a good friend of the Celestial Spirit King before the noble warrior's death." Virgo explained
"I really gotta stop being surprised at this kind of thing." Lucy replied.
"Perhaps it would be best if I remained here by your side until the crisis has settled." Virgo suggested.
"Please do."
Meanwhile in the air above the town, Carla held Wendy as they both witnessed the battle. "Where did Natsu go?" Wendy asked
"I believe I saw him fall to a roof nearby." Carla answered
"Well we gotta help him." Wendy said
"He is more than capable of taking care of himself, I'd be more concerned for your safety child."
"Shouldn't we do something?" Wendy suggested
"Absolutely not! You are not fighting demons!"
"But I can't just stand by and do nothing, while my friends fight!"
"Wendy…" Carla began, but before she could finish her sentence they both heard a roar and saw two demons flying toward them. Wendy screamed as Carla flew as fast she could, the demons flew after them.
Carla flew down closer to the buildings, hopping to shake them off. The flying cat and dragon slayer we're continuously pursued as they flew through alleyways and over many buildings, unable to shake they're pursuers.
"Fly faster Carla! They're gaining on us!" Wendy exclaimed
"I'm flying as fast as I can!"
They both turned into another alleyway. "Maybe Natsu was right, and I should have stayed close to him." Wendy wondered
"You know as well as I do that you would be in even more danger if you're with him! I know you look up to Natsu but…." Carla couldn't finish as another demon appeared out of nowhere and attempted to slash them with its claw.
The surprise forced Carla to accidently drop Wendy and she screamed as she fell through an open window into a building.
"Wendy!" Carla yelled. She was about to fly after her, but the three demons tried to make a grab for the flying cat, and she was regrettably forced to fly away to try and shake them. Wendy, please be safe
Wendy picked herself up from off the ground. She looked around to see where she landed. "Where am I?" It was dark, but she could still make it out, it looked like the lobby of a theater.
Her next thoughts we're to leave, but she heard something. It sounded like a woman singing. "Hello? Is someone here?" She heard the faint singing and ran deeper into the lobby. Wendy came across a double door and heard the woman's opera singing growing louder. She opened the door and entered the dark room.
She walked into a dark opera theater; the only light came from a spotlight pointing to the stage, revealing what appeared to be a woman. "What are you doing here!? You shouldn't be here!" Wendy yelled from the top of the stairs, which the woman didn't seem to hear. Wendy ran down the stairs. She got to the bottom and climbed up onto the stage.
"It's not safe here you need to leave." Wendy said as she walked to the woman. However to her surprise, when the woman stopped singing, she grabbed the girl by the shoulders. Wendy looked up in surprise, which soon turned to horror as the woman's face morphed into that of a demon. It snarled its jaws at her. All Wendy could do was close her eyes and scream as the demon was about to devour its prey, but before it could…
*Bang. Bang*
Wendy looked up and saw the demon fall to the ground. What was that? We're those gunshots? A spotlight shined onto the stairs and Wendy turned around and saw a white-haired man in a bright red jacket, holding a black pistol in his right hand, and a white pistol in his left walking down the stairs.
"Hey there." The man casually greeted "Don't tell me kids like you are in to lame operas like this are ya?"
"Well…. I…. Thank you…." Wendy stuttered, not knowing what to say.
"But… looks like we may have to wait for a touching finale." The man interrupted. Wendy was confused by the statement, but heard snarls behind her. She turned around and saw two demons emerge from the shadows and leap toward her.
The man jumped from the stairs and implanted his feet to the demons while airborne, kicking them back. The man raised his right arm and shot directly upward, causing a large backdrop to fall. "Sorry honey, but this show isn't for kids." The man said as the white backdrop fell in front of her and she could see black silloutes of the man fighting the two demons inside. Wendy could only wonder who this man might be. But then she remembered the conversation she and her friends had with Morrison yesterday.
Is that…?
All sounds have stopped, and the backdrop was torn a bit as the man walked out. "So, care to tell me what you're doing here kid?"
"Well you see I…." Before Wendy could finish, she could see a bleeding, but still alive, demon rise to its feet behind the man.
The man looked behind to see the demon getting up, but before he could do anything, Wendy ran in front of him "Kid, what are you doing!?"
The demon leapt toward Wendy but… "Sky Dragon Roar!" Wendy then blasted a roar of Sky Dragon magic from her mouth that sent the demon flying through the wall, blasting a rather large hole leading outside.
To say the man was surprised was an understatement. He looked to the kid, and saw a certain blue symbol on her shoulder. "You're a wizard?"
Wendy turned to the man. "Uh yes. My name's Wendy, I'm from Fairy Tail. It's nice to meet you."
"'Fairy Tail' huh?" The man began "Yeah, I heard about that place, supposed to be real crazy. They certainly have to be if there sending a little girl here in the middle of this crap."
"Oh, I'm not alone. My friends are all here." Wendy replied. Before she could say anything else…
"Wendy!" They both heard and saw a white flying cat come through the hole Wendy just made.
"Carla!" Wendy exclaimed. Wendy ran to Carla and they both hugged. Carla looked behind and saw the man in the red jacket.
"Wendy, who is this man?" Carla asked
They broke off. "Well he's…" Wendy thought for a moment "I actually didn't get his name." The man walked past them and in front of the hole leading outside.
Carla could only wonder who would be crazy enough to stay in this town with all the chaos ensuing, but remembered the meeting with their client yesterday "Wait, your that devil hunter Morrison talked about aren't you?" Carla asked
"'Morrison'?" The man questioned, before sighing "Figures, he's always the cautious one."
"You're a devil hunter?" Wendy asked, "That's amazing." She said with sparkles in her eyes.
"You bet it is kid." The man said. "So, how many more from Fairy Tail are here?"
"Including the two of us, there is a total of seven." Carla answered
"With crazy shit like this, seven guild wizards doesn't sound so bad." Dante commented
"Watch your language! You are in the presence of a child!" Carla scolded as she gestured to Wendy.
Dante ignored that comment before speaking "You coming, maybe your friends could use some help."
"Very well then." Carla said. The three we're just about to leave when Wendy spoke up.
"Oh I'm sorry, but I didn't get your name."
The man turned to Wendy and Carla and gave a slight grin "Call me Dante."
The fight had continued on back to the park. Where Natsu, Grey, Erza (still in her black wing armor), and Lucy all stood panting, surrounded by the bodies of over a hundred demons; Virgo and Happy we're present as well, but the two we're not panting.
"Oh man, that was a workout." Natsu commented
"Yeah they definitely put up one hell of a fight" Gray added, "No pun intended"
"Crazy huh?" Lucy asked
"Why are you out of breath?" Happy questioned, "Virgo did most of the work, all you did was run, scream, and hide."
"SHUT UP CAT!" Lucy yelled with her head being twice as tall as before.
"I hate to interrupt, but I don't think we're done yet." Erza said.
"Not done? What do you mean?" Gray questioned.
"She is right." Virgo added, "The portal still remains open."
They all looked up at the red portal eclipsing the moon, it was indeed open. Why was it still open? Natsu took a few whiffs of the air.
"What is it?" Erza asked, wondering if Natsu's keen senses picked up something.
Natsu's face became serious "Something's coming through. Something big."
They all looked up at the portal to see it expand to almost twice its size. They looked in surprise as a large white hand emerged and grabbed the edge of the portal, another hand followed suit on the opposite side. Slowly, another demon emerged from the portal, it looked identical to all the others, only this one was white and was over 60ft tall.
The massive demon leapt from the portal and onto the ground in front of the wizards. The portal closed behind it, but that was unnoticed as the creature let loose an ear-splitting roar.
"IT'S SO BIG!" Lucy shouted, her eyes bulging out
"Way to state the obvious!" Happy commented his own eyes bulged out as well.
Natsu, Erza, and Grey could only look wide-eyed at the size of this demon; Virgo's expression remained unchanged. "It's their leader" Virgo spoke.
"'Their leader'?" Erza questioned
"Yes." Virgo began to explain "Many different breeds of demons work in large packs such as the one we just faced, and every pack of demons has a leader, the leader is usually the strongest one."
"No kidding!" Grey exclaimed "This thing's gonna be a major step up from those last guys."
"I got this." Natsu said as he leapt towards the demon.
"Natsu wait!" Erza, Happy, Gray, and Lucy all yelled.
"Fire Dragon…" Before Natsu could finish, the demon quickly swatted him away and sent Natsu into a large tree that actually uprooted when Natsu impacted it.
"Natsu!" They all yelled.
They didn't react fast enough for the massive demon to quickly deliver a kick that sent Grey flying into the ice-pond he recently used. Before Erza could respond, the demon slammed it's palm ontop of her, smashing her into the ground.
Virgo was able to carry Lucy to safer distance from the demon. "No way." She began in disbelief "That thing took down Natsu, Grey and Erza?"
"It seems this demon is too strong for them." Virgo stated
"Well is there anything you can do?" Happy asked Virgo as he flew to them.
"No, I am afraid this demon is too strong for me."
"Are you Kidding!?" Happy and Lucy both exclaimed at the same time.
The demon shifted its gaze to its next three victims. "Um, it's looking at us." Lucy frightenedly observed. However before the demon could make it's move on the three, they all heard the sound of a whistle.
Natsu, Grey, and Erza; whom had just barley recovered, caught sight of the source of the whistle, along with Lucy, Virgo, Happy, and even the demon. Standing at the top of a tree, the moonlight shining on him like a spotlight was a red-coat-wearing, white haired man we all know and love.
"Man, you guys come in all kids of sizes." Dante observed.
The demon glared at him. "What are you doing!? You need to leave now!?" Lucy yelled, worried for the man's safety.
"Well come on big guy." Dante taunted the demon "Pick on someone your own size." He gestured with his hand to bring it on. The demon replied by moving quickly and delivering a punch to Dante, sending him flying in the air. The demon then gave a large kick, sending Dante into the ground, making a large path in the ground as he impacted it.
The Fairy Tail wizards could only look in shock, surprised at still in one piece. Natsu struggled to get up, wanting to get some payback on the demon, but something stopped him, a sound. It caught all they're attention, it was an unusual sound coming from the man the demon just beat up. The wizards recognized it, but couldn't tell why. Is he, laughing?
Dante was indeed laughing, causing the demon to look confused. Dante's smirk still remained on his face "Child's play like this is all you got? Talk about a disappointment." To everyone surprise, Dante quickly shot out with a jump and delivered a punch to the large demon's face, actually knocking it down. The wizard's eyes bulged out at that. "My turn." Dante smirked, he outstretched his right hand, five seconds later, something came flying through the air and into Dante's hands; his trademark sword, Rebellion.
Before the demon knew it, Dante flew straight passed him and delivered a massive slash to the monster's side. It howled in pain. Dante then twirled his blade as he charged to the demon.
The wizards all gathered together and looked in amazement at the man making this massive demon look weak.
"Who is this guy?" Grey asked
"That's Dante." They heard from behind. They all turned and saw Wendy with Carla running toward.
"Wendy, are you alright?" Erza asked, Wendy nodded
"Carla, you're okay!" Happy exclaimed in happiness, but Carla crossed her arms and looked away.
"Wendy, you know this guy?" Natsu asked
"Yeah, that's Dante. He's the devil hunter Morrison told us about." Wendy answered
All looked to him in surprise "That guy?" Lucy asked as Dante delivered a downward slice and cut off the demon's arm. The monster shrieked in pain.
"Princess, I can tell this man has the situation at hand, so I shall take my leave now." Virgo said as she disappeared in gold light.
"Just look at this guy." Grey observed
They all looked to Dante who continued to make the demon look like nothing, and from the looks of things, it appeared Dante was actually enjoying the moment. Dante threw his sword out, which actually went through the demon's chest. He outstretched his arm again, summoning Rebellion to him, and it returned after coming back through the demon; causing it even more pain. Dante ran at incredible speeds under the demon, bring his sword through the demon's legs, knocking it down on it's back.
The demon's point of view turned upside down as he saw Dante approach him. When Dante was right in front of the head, it snarled at him defiantly, Dante responded by pointing his Ebony pistol to its head. "And Jackpot."
*Bang*
It was over, the moon turned white again, and all the demons we're slain. The Fairy Tail wizards looked in wonder as the man known as Dante walked toward them. "Fairy Tail huh?" He asked while looking around at all the demons slain by their hands. "Not bad, not bad at all."
"So your name's Dante, nice to meet ya." Grey greeted
"Thank you for your help." Erza thanked as she requipped to her regular heart Kurtz armor.
Dante looked at her "You're the famous Erza Scarlet. Gotta say, you're even hotter than I thought you be." He then turned to the fire dragon slayer "And the Salamander, I'd thought you be taller."
A vein threaten to pop on Natsu's head "Hey are you to call me short! You're only one foot taller than me!"
"Which also means you're one foot shorter than me." Dante cracked
Natsu would have given another reply if he didn't fell to the ground out of exhaustion.
"Natsu!" Happy exclaimed
"Don't worry he's just tired." Grey said as Natsu imediatley began snoring loudly.
"Your seriously sleeping!?" Lucy exclaimed
"Well, kid's got the right idea. I'm exhausted too." Dante said as he began to walk away, putting his sword over his shoulder.
"Wait where are you going?" Lucy asked
"Home." Dante said simply. "Been fighting all night and it's late, nice meeting you guys."
Wendy ran up a bit and spoke out to him "Thank you so much Mr. Dante."
"It's just 'Dante'." He said as he gave a slight wave.
Erza couldn't help but smile. This man was truly incredible. He tore apart the demon like it was nothing. And on top of that, a lot more demons came through the portal then just the ones she and her guild-mates fought, she could only assume Dante took care of them, and fighting off that many demons takes a great deal of skill. That being said, Erza could only wonder, how could he have gotten such skill?
The next morning, all appeared peaceful. People began to come back to the city and start rebuilding it. Surprisingly, there wasn't nearly as much collateral damage as expected, which is a lot considering Fairy Tail fought off an army of demons.
Back at the shop, Devil May Cry, or what was left of it; Dante continued to lift the rubble and rocks of his collapsed shop. He was looking for something. After spending two hours of moving large pieces of debris, he found what he was looking for. A small broken portrait, he discarded the broken glass and frame and removed the picture; the picture of his mother. After looking at it for a few seconds, he put it in his jacket pocket.
"Happened again huh?" A voice asked. Dante looked from the top of the rubble piles where he was searching and saw Morrison at the bottom, lighting a cigar.
"You called those Fairy Tail wizards." Dante said as he got down from the pile.
"I did." Morrison replied
"What? You didn't think I could handle it on my own?" Dante joked
"Just wanted to be sure; better safe than sorry." Morrison explained
"Could have at least told me other people would be fighting, especially a little girl." Dante saw that Wendy-girl was strong, but still a battlefield is no place for a 12-year-old girl.
"I only put the request in, I didn't ask for any specific wizards, those we're the ones who answered it." Morrison explained
"Well any case, I guess it all worked out." Dante replied
"Did it?" Morrison asked, "Look at your shop. But then again, this happens quite often for you. Well, guess you better start cleaning."
Dante looked at his destroyed shop and sighed. This happens all the time, and it is a huge pain rebuilding it, not to mention it is majorly expensive. He was already in a large enough debt with Lady, the last thing we wanted was to owe that chick some more money. Bet those Fairy Tail wizards don't have to worry about this kind of thing. Then something clicked in Dante's mind, he smiled.
The team was now on the train heading back to Magnolia, and of course, Natsu looked like he was about to puke his guts out.
"Aw god, not again." Grey lamented, still annoyed on how easily Natsu gets sick.
"Hey it's not his fault he gets motion sickness." Happy reminded
"I'm just glad that whole thing's over." Lucy sighed in relief.
"Yeah, that was really scary." Wendy added, "Good thing Dante was there."
"Yeah I'll say." Grey replied, "That guy can take some serious damage." He still remembered the demon pounding Dante into the ground.
"Not to mention he took down that huge demon that took down you, Natsu, and Erza." Happy reminded
"I'm sure glad we didn't have to fight him." Lucy said
"While I agree that he was most beneficial in helping us, I can't help but get this feeling about him." Carla figured
"What do you mean by that?" Grey asked
"I think Carla might be right, something about Dante just smelled different." Wendy said, her dragon-slayer senses picked up Dante's scent, which was very unique.
Erza looked out the window with similar thoughts in her head. While she was grateful for Dante's help, she couldn't help but wonder what it was about him. Something about him gave her this feeling, but she couldn't describe it. Maybe she'd see him again, and she'd ask him.
"Aw there you are" They all heard a familiar voice speak. They all turned in surprise (minus Natsu who was still sick) to see Dante walking up and sitting in the seat across from them.
"Dante?" Wendy asked
"What are you doing here?" Lucy asked as well.
"Looking for you guys, what else?" Dante answered. He looked down at Natsu's unfortunate state "What's up with him?"
"Natsu gets serious motion sickness." Happy replied
"Man, that sucks."
"Why are you here?" Erza asked
Dante smiled "I got a question for ya. What's it gotta take to join your guild?"
