Hello everyone, sorry for the long wait. Here's the update. Expect some alterations from the main Fairy Tail storyline to show up rather soon. On and for those of you wondering where Trish is, she is going to be with a certain Iron Dragon Slayer for the first part of this story.

Edolas

"Edolas?" Natsu asked.

"That's correct." Carla began to explain to Natsu, Dante, Happy, Wendy, and Modeus. "The world that exists independently from the one we know. And unfortunately, a world that has begun loosing it's Magic."

"They're running out of Magic there?" Wendy questioned.

"How exactly is that possible?" Dante asked.

"Unlike here, Magic is a finite resource; without limits on it's use, it will one day disappear forever." Carla replied.

"Are you sure you're not talking about the Demon World?" Dante asked.

"No, Edolas and the Demon World are two completely separate worlds entirely." Carla said.

"I can confirm that." Modeus said.

"What do you mean?" Natsu asked.

"Over 2,000 years ago; when this world and the Demon Realm we're connected, there we're many rumors of a world that was parallel to this one; Sparda had heard of this 'Edolas', and even said that it too would be a target of conquest for the Demon King Mundus." Modeus explained. "Unfortunately" though, due to Sparda's rebellion and his pact with the Dragons, Mundus' plan never reached fruition."

"Oh I see know." Wendy understood.

"So know we got three worlds." Dante said. "Maybe even more."

"Returning to the matter at hand." Carla began. "In an attempt to restore their rapidly diminishing Magic power reserves; the Kingdom of Edolas developed a spell that would absorb the magic from another world, our world. It is a very powerful spell indeed, called Anima. That was what opened the hole in the sky."

"So… that's it." Wendy now understood. This was the reason Mystogen left her behind all those years ago.

"Six years ago, they began setting up Anima-Portals all across the border between the two worlds; but the experiment did not go as they planed. It seems someone made it their goal to close them, one-by-one." Carla continued.

Wendy knew who this someone was.

"My suspicions we're raised when Wendy told me what happened with Jellal." Carla thought to herself. "But the story makes even more sense if he's actually Mystogen. I'm sure he must have been the one closing the Anima."

"But this Anima was simply too large." Carla continued to explain to the others. "No one was strong enough to close it, thus the guild and everything surrounding it was absorbed."

"Why would they choose to attack Fairy Tail?" Modeus asked.

"I told you, to provide more magic power to those in Edolas." Carla answered.

"You mean they stole from us." Dante corrected.

"For a lack of better term, yes." Carla replied.

"So they chose Fairy Tail because there's a lot of top class wizards? Because there's more power to take?" Wendy questioned.

"That's correct." Carla confirmed.

"I already don't like these guys." Dante said. "They think they have the right to kidnap all our friends like that? I'm gonna enjoy beating the crap out of those assholes."

"That makes two of us." Natsu agreed. He looked up to the hole in the sky with an anger mark above his head. "You better give us back our friends right now!"

Almost in direct response to Natsu's statement, the thunder boomed even louder.

"You mean it Carla? This happened because of you and me? This is our fault." Happy asked.

"Indirectly, us."

"You're gonna have to explain what you mean by 'indirectly'." Dante stated.

"The King entrusted us to complete another mission entirely, something that was totally independent from the Anima and magic absorption."

Happy was shocked by Carla's statement.

"But that doesn't make any sense!" Wendy exclaimed. "How can that be true when you we're born in this world, hatched out of an egg!"

"And Happy was to, it was me that found him!" Natsu pointed out.

"Indeed we we're." Carla confirmed. "To be completely honest, I personally have never once set foot in Edolas." That surprised Natsu, Dante, Wendy, Modeus, and Happy. "I was born in this world and I spent my entire life here, it's exactly as Wendy says."

"Then how do you know so much about this Edolas?" Modeus asked.

"We we're imprinted with this knowledge." Carla answered. "The details of our mission and of Edolas are part of what makes up our very being. He and I we're born to carry out this mission for our kingdom. So why…" She pointed to Happy "Why don't you know the first thing about it?!"

Dante, Natsu, Wendy, and Modeus all looked to Happy who could only hang his head down.

"I don't know."

Carla turned back around. "Anyway, that's what I meant by 'indirectly'. The Anima that did this originated from our homeland. So that's why we're partially to blame."

"So what is the mission you're on Carla?" Wendy asked.

"I can't tell you."

"'Can't', or 'won't'?" Dante questioned. Carla turned towards Dante. "If I had to take a while guess, I'd say it has something to do with Dragon Slayers." Carla looked to Dante with surprise, as did Natsu and Wendy. "Natsu and Wendy weren't absorbed like everyone else, and you said it was because they we're Dragon Slayers. It was like you knew they wouldn't be absorbed. So, what is you're little mission?"

"I said I can't tell and that's final!" Carla exclaimed.

"You've got no room to loose your temper, cat." Dante told her. "You said you we're indirectly responsible for this; not to mention you hid all this information from everyone your whole life, so pardon me if I'm a little untrusting."

"Dante, she said she couldn't tell." Wendy tried.

"I don't buy it."

"You hid away the information about your old man, so you don't really have too much room to talk." Natsu pointed out.

Dante sighed. "Fine." He looked to Carla. "But I've got my eye on you cat."

"I do have one question." Modeus began. "Dante and I we're also not absorbed by the Anima, and it is because of our demon blood, correct?"

"Yes, that is correct." Carla answered. "Modeus is from the Demon World; and while Dante was born here in this world, his father was born in the Demon World as well. Those born in the Demon World are not of Earthland origin, and the Anima was designed to only absorb matter from Earthland, not the Demon World. In fact, the people of Edolas have no idea that Demon World even exists." That caught the whole group by surprise. "So far as they know, demons are nothing more than fiction, so there are no Demons in Edolas."

"I guess that makes sense." Dante replied.

Natsu then put his right fist in his left palm. "Okay guys listen, now that the cat's been let out of the bag, we should head out. We gotta get to Edolas."

"Have you lost your mind?! Do you have any idea what's going on here?!" Carla questioned.

"I'm with you Natsu." Dante said. "Those good for nothing pricks stole all our friends; I want them back. It's payback time."

"You too?!" Carla questioned to Dante. "You two are something else entirely, you know that?!"

"You two really mean it?" Wendy asked.

Modeus shook his head with an amusing smile. "You are your father's son Dante. And you have the heart of a true dragon, Natsu Dragneel. I will accompany you as well."

Happy's stomach gurgled, resulted in Natsu, Wendy, Modeus, and even Dante chuckling. "I'm scared, and being scared makes me hungry." Modeus put a hand on Happy's head.

"You have nothing to fear Happy. Not while we're here."

"Besides, it's good to have a healthy appetite." Natsu said.

"I second that." Dante agreed.

Wendy looked to Carla, who looked down in deep contemplation. Natsu and Dante both looked up towards the hole in the sky.

"If all our friends are up in Edolas, then we got no choice but to go and help them out." Natsu said.

"You're right. I lost one family already, I'm not loosing another one." Dante said.

"Are they really there?" Wendy asked.

"I would assume so." Carla answered. "Even if we do find them, I'm not entirely sure we can save them."

"I've crossed into the Demon World at least three times before by myself and made it out in one piece each time; I'm sure that between all of us, we can save them all." Dante said.

"I would have reason to believe though that this Kingdom of Edolas will attempt to stop us." Modeus assumed.

"I got no problem going to war with them." Dante replied. "They need to be taught a lesson anyway."

"Even if we do reach Edolas, I cannot guarantee we'll be able to return here." Carla pointed out.

"We'll find a way, there's always a way." Dante stated.

"And besides, if none of our buddies are here in this world, then there'd be no point in coming back here anyway. Except looking for Igneel maybe." Natsu said.

"I feel the same." Wendy agreed.

"That makes three of us." Dante said.

"Four." Modeus joined in. "I too am a member of Fairy Tail, so I will do what I can to save them as well."

Happy's stomach growled again. "We should at least try to save all of them, they'd do it for us."

Carla sighed. "I may have only recently stumbled into being a member of Fairy Tail, but I am indeed a part of the guild. Also, like I said, I'm indirectly responsible for what happened here today, so I'm not completely against taking you there."

"Oh, so you're only partially against us saving our friends?" Dante questioned. "That's reassuring." He said sarcastically.

Carla ignored his statement. "If I am to do this, I will need to lay down a few very firm ground rules. By returning to Edolas I will be abandoning my mission, one handed down by the Kingdom itself, a traitor. I cannot risk being spotted by anyone who would know my identity, we'll all need to be in disguise."

"I don't see why we need to be in disguise if you're the only one on the mission." Dante pointed out.

Carla ignored him again. "Listen Tomcat." She said to Happy. "Another rule, is that you are absolutely not to pry into the details about our mission."

"Aye." Happy agreed as his stomach growled again.

"That goes for you as well Dante." Carla told him.

"Fine, but I've got my eye on you."

"Thirdly, aside from the information that was given to me at birth, I know nothing about the layout of Edolas. I cannot be the navigator."

Wendy nodded.

"Got it" Natsu said.

"Understood." Modeus added.

"And most importantly." Carla began. "Should I, or the Tomcat, do anything that would constitute of a betrayal towards you, kill us without hesitation."

Natsu, Wendy, Modeus, and even Happy all looked shock at that statement.

"Okay." Dante said, getting everyone's attention. "You try and anything, and you're being put down like a mad dog."

"That goes for the Tomcat as well." Carla said to Dante.

"Naw, I trust Happy. It's you I don't trust." Dante told her. There was a bit of a heated stare down between the two, before Carla conceded.

"Fine." She sprouted wings from her back and took to the air. "Lets go. Tomcat, hold onto Natsu."

"We're gonna fly there?" Wendy asked.

"We have wings for that reason." The white cat answered. "So we can one day return to our homeland in Edolas." Happy looked quite shocked.

"Alright then little buddy, you're gonna show me we're you came from." Natsu said to the blue cat with a smile.

Said cat gained a look of determination. "Aye sir."

"Wait a second." Wendy spoke out. She turned to the two demons in their group. "How are Dante and Modeus going to get there?"

"Don't worry, that's covered." Dante replied before he closed his eyes and began to concentrate. A red wind began to swirl around him and engulf his body, a bright red glow began to surge in the wind until he was engulfed in a red flash of light; forcing the two Dragon Slayers and flying Cats to shield there eyes, when the glow subsided, they looked to see that Dante was now in his Devil Trigger.

"I'm all set." Dante said as he showed off his demonic wings.

"You're Devil Trigger huh?" Natsu said. "Have I mentioned how awesome you look with that?"

"You can stand to mention it more."

There was a brief grey flash coming from where Modeus was standing, they all looked to see what was standing in Modeus' place as the flash subsided. His body was completely covered in black scales. He had black claws on his hands, clawed feet, insect-like wings on his back, black horns on his head, and glowing orange eyes.

"I am ready." Modeus said.

"Whoa Modeus, you have a Devil Trigger to?!" Happy questioned.

"Not exactly." Modeus replied. "My human form is only a disguise, so that I can walk this world without drawing too much attention to myself; this is my true demonic form."

"So that's what you really look like?" Wendy asked.

"That is correct."

"You know, for a pacifist, you sure look like a badass!" Natsu said with a grin and a thumbs-up.

"Thank you for the complement." Modeus replied.

"You may be a demon, Modeus." Wendy said. "But you don't look all that scary."

Modeus responded with a smile and places a claw on Wendy's head. "You're sweet."

"Alright, if we're ready, it's time." Carla spoke up.

"Got that right." Dante declared. "I'm all fired-up now!"

All took to the air, straight for the hole in the sky. Happy carried Natsu, Carla carried Wendy, while Dante and Modeus used their demon-wings to fly alongside them, all going straight up.

"Tomcat, don't hold back you're magic power!" Carla called to Happy.

"Aye!"

The cat's shot up into the sky, carrying their respective Dragon Slayers; while the two Demon Warriors flew alongside them at incredible speeds.

"So we just fly straight up?!" The Devil Trigger Dante called out to Carla.

"We'll enter Edolas through what remains of the Anima! When I give the signal, give it everything you got!" Carla replied.

"Understood!" The demonic Modeus replied.

They flew up at an even faster rate, pushing against the very air. As they flew straight up, lightning began to surge all throughout the clouds.

"NOW!" Carla called; and they all shot straight up. Happy and Carla, along with Natsu and Wendy we're engulfed in white light as they shot up; while Dante was in a red light and Modeus was in a grey light.

They shot up moving at speeds that we're thought to be impossible, but Modeus noticed something. "There's a barrier blocking our path! The hole between Earthland and Edolas is closing and we may not make it!"

"Then I'll cut our way through!" Dante exclaimed as he drew the black Rebellion and pointed straight upward. "Everyone! Get behind me!" They all flew behind Dante as he took the lead, flying straight up, pointing Rebellion.

The edge of the black sword began to glow red as he pushed through the invisible barrier. It looked almost like his sword was in re-entry, only he was going up instead of down. As he pushed through, white light surged through the hole, sending white energy shockwaves all throughout the clouds and the sky. The waves then we're withdrawn back to their center and it all exploded in a flash of light as Dante had succeeded in cutting through the barrier. As they all flew into the light; each and every one of them, bore their own expression of shock one their faces.

There was a faint, multi-colored light in the very center, which exploded outwards, engulfing them all.

The Devil Trigger Dante had his eyes closed. "Are we there?" He opened his eyes and looked in surprise at what he saw, as did Natsu, Happy, Wendy, Carla, and Modeus in his Demon form.

They flew through a greenish sky that was decorated with hundreds of floating islands. One could even see dozens of planetoids in the far distance. Each of the islands we're decorated with purple trees, and some had a few water falls pouring off the islands down below.

"Whoa." Dante breathed.

"You said it bro." Natsu agreed.

Happy continued to fly Natsu, as Carla did the same for Wendy, while Dante and Modeus still flew in their respective demonic forms. Each of them bore their own respective look of surprise and/or amazement.

"This is… truly incredible… and quite beautiful." The Demonic Modeus breathed.

They flew past a waterfall that fell off a floating island. The Devil Trigger Dante ran his right claw through it and it felt like normal water. "You know, for a parallel world, this place ain't to shabby."

"We're actually here. We made it." Carla said in wonder.

"My roots… my homeland…" Happy said in a similar tone.

"Look at all these floating islands!" Wendy marveled.

"Yes, this is a sight to behold." Modeus agreed.

"You know what Happy?" Dante spoke up. "You're home is awesome!"

"Yeah, you come from a pretty cool place little buddy, don't you think?" Natsu agreed.

"I really don't know what to think." Happy replied.

"Are those… flying fish…?" Modeus questioned as he saw a pair of strange creatures fly near them.

"How strange, and wondrous." Carla said as she looked around the new world.

They looked down at the purple trees below them. "I've never seen trees like these before."

"Hey Happy! Dante! Check it out! There's a river in the sky! Can you believe it!?" Natsu pointed out in amazement.

The group flew towards said river, which was somehow able to run and curve in the sky, they even saw fish flopping in and out of the river.

"I'm guessing the laws of physics don't apply here, do they?" Dante guessed.

"Okay." Carla spoke up. "Everyone, get a grip on yourself. Remember, we're not here on a sight-seeing trip, so be sure to keep your wits about you."

Wendy gave an awkward laugh. "Yeah, you're right."

"Sorry, sorry." Natsu apologized.

"Uh… guys…" Dante said as they stopped to see him holding his stomach. "I… don't feel… so good…"

"You okay, dude?" Natsu asked.

"I… feel the same way…" Modeus replied as he held his head.

Natsu was engulfed in a red flash of light, as Modeus was in a grey flash. Happy's wings we're engulfed in a blue flash, while Carla's we're in a pink flash. When the flashes subsided; Happy and Carla no longer had their wings, while Dante and Modeus we're now in their human forms. They only floated in the air for a few seconds.

"Aw shit." Dante cussed before they all fell.

They all fell through ball-shaped trees before landing hard on the ground.

"That was… unpleasant." Modeus grimaced as they all struggled to get up.

"My wings don't work." Happy said

"How come you can't fly any more?" Wendy asked.

"I told you, magic is a limited resource in this world." Carla reminded.

"So I can't use my Devil Trigger, great." Dante guessed before there was a slight flash on his back and they a few clanging sounds we're heard. They all looked to see Dante's Devil Arms; Cerberus, Nevan, Agni, and Rudra scattered on the ground. "Aw geeze."

"You're weapons?" Happy asked.

"That's just great." Dante grimaced.

"How come they all fell out like that?" Natsu asked.

"It would make sense." A voice from the red, curved sword said; getting all their attention.

"Yes, you did say Magic was a limited resource in this world, correct?" the blue curved sword spoke.

Natsu, Happy, Wendy, and Carla could only stare at the talking swords, while Modeus raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?" The red sword asked.

"Do we have something on our persons?" The blue sword asked as well.

Dante face-palmed. "Three, two, one."

Happy, Wendy, Natsu, and even Carla screamed.

"TALKING SWORDS!" Happy screamed at the top of his lungs.

"As a talking cat, I do not believe you have room to talk." Modeus pointed out.

"I guess." Happy said in a surprisingly calm tone.

"Why are those swords talking?!" Wendy exclaimed.

"There not supposed to talk." Dante said as he rubbed his hand down his face. "That was our agreement."

"In fairness, we are transported to another world, and our power is diminished." The blue sword pointed out.

"Yes, I believe this would count as an exception." The red sword agreed.

"Oh wow!" Natsu said with a wide smile, looking at the swords. "Talking swords, that is so cool!"

"Dante, would you care to explain this?" Carla questioned in a less-than-pleased fashion.

Dante sighed. "Okay, let me explain. Those two swords, and my other weapons are called Devil Arms."

"Devil Arms?" Wendy questioned.

"What are those?" Happy asked.

"When a certain demon is killed by another demon, their bodies are destroyed but their souls are bound to the demon who defeated them. Their souls take the form of weapons called Devil Arms, where the demon can use their power to increase their own." Dante explained

"So each of those weapons are the souls of demon's you've taken down?" Natsu asked.

"Yep." Dante confirmed.

"Can all your Devil Arms talk?" Wendy asked.

"No just those two." Dante replied.

"And since they are, or we're, living beings, and can use magic, I am correct to assume that while here in Edolas, they cannot use their power either?" Carla guessed.

"I would say so." Dante confirmed.

"It is true." The red sword said. "Our power has vanished."

"Yet our blades are quite sharp." The blue sword added.

"Yes, very sharp." The red sword confirmed.

"Sharp enough to cut through any kind of wood, stone, or metal." The blue sword said.

"My name is Agni." The red sword introduced.

"And my name is Rudra." The blue sword introduced as well.

"You shall take us with you, we can be of great help to you." Both swords said at the same time.

"Okay, fine." Dante turned to the rest of his group. "I obviously can't carry all my weapons by myself now, so we're gonna have to divvy up." Dante picked up Nevan. "Modeus, I know how you abandoned your way of the sword but…"

"We will likely go into battle, and I have sworn to aid you in rescuing the guild. I understand." Modeus took Nevan. He twirled the weapon in his left hand before sheaving it in his back.

Dante then picked up Cerberus and handed it Wendy. "Without your magic, you're gonna need someway to defend yourself so…"

"No! Absolutely not!" Carla spoke up. "I will not permit Wendy to use weapons!"

"This isn't sharp and she has to protect herself." Dante argued.

"He's right Carla." Wendy said. "Without my magic, I still need some way to help."

Carla sighed as she conceded. Wendy took the three-pronged nunchuck from Dante. Before he could turn to Natsu, he saw that he already had Agni and Rudra in his hands.

"I call dibs on the talking swords!" Natsu eagerly said.

"Did you hear that brother?" Rudra asked.

"Yes brother!" Agni replied. "We are wielded by the famous Natsu Dragneel, the son of Igneel!"

"Let's go!" Natsu exclaimed. "Let's find our friends!"

With that, the group began their trek through the world of Edolas. They started walking through the forest they recently crashed into.

"How will we find everyone if no one knows there way around?" Happy wondered.

"Piece of cake, just follow my nose." Natsu pointed out.

"You intend to sniff them out?" Agni asked.

"Dragon Slayers do have heightened senses." Rudra reminded.

"Ah yes, I forgot." Agni replied.

Natsu began to sniff the air but his look turned sour. "Aw crap."

"What's up?" Dante asked.

"There are so many crazy new smells, my nose is confused." Natsu replied.

Wendy took her finger to the air and put in her mouth. "Yeah its weird, the air in this place is like nothing I've ever tasted before."

"Ooooh, does that mean the fire will taste different?" Natsu eagerly asked.

"I wouldn't bet against it." Modeus said.

"Natsu." Agni spoke up. "Once Dante's power returns, I shall regain my power as well. You shall feed of the fire that I make."

Natsu had a smile on his face. "I'll hold you to that buddy."

"And Wendy." Rudra also spoke up. "I shall allow you to taste my wind as well."

"Thanks so much, Rudra. That's very nice of you." Wendy said with a smile, resulting in Rudra actually blushing.

"All this talk about tasting makes me even hungrier!" Happy pouted.

"Well I don't know what to do about food here." Dante said.

"We're in a strange world and all you can think about is food?!" Carla questioned.

"Food is essential to survival." Modeus said.

"So, where are we going anyway?" Wendy asked.

"Beats me, we gotta walk somewhere right? So why not this way?" Natsu replied.

"Somehow I suspected you would say something like that." Modeus said.

"We're bound to run into something sooner or later. With our luck, trouble will likely find us." Dante pointed out

"Surprisingly, the Fire-Breather and the Half-Demon are correct." Carla stated.

They continued walking while Happy's stomach growled again.

"Stop that!" Carla pointed out.

"You can't suppress bodily functions, that's bad parenting." Dante joked.

"What kind of world is this?" Rudra questioned.

"Yes, we have not run into any form of life." Agni agreed.

"There right, we haven't seen a single person." Wendy said.

"Is it some kind of forest-world?" Happy questioned.

"Somehow I doubt it." Modeus said.

"Agreed." Carla added. "We'll still need disguises."

"But from where? There's nothing." Wendy observed.

Natsu saw something and put on a smile. "I got an idea."

"I'm in." Dante said. "As long as I don't look ridiculous."

Five minutes later.

"I look ridiculous." Dante said as his body was covered in purple leaves; as we're the bodies of Natsu, Wendy, Happy, Modeus, and even Carla.

"Uh Natsu… I'm not so sure about this." Happy said.

"Is he always like this?" Modeus asked Dante.

"Unfortunately." Dante replied with a sweatdrop.

They then continued walking.

"These disguises do serve as good camouflage." Agni said.

"Yes, especially for a forested area such as this." Rudra agreed.

"I don't know what exactly we're being disguised as." Happy said.

"What's the big deal? You look like a thing that doesn't look like Happy." Natsu pointed out.

"That's true enough." Modeus said.

"Still doesn't change the fact that we look like idiots." Dante grumbled.

"It's so… embarrassing." Wendy said.

Carla actually gave a slight amused smile. "Fashion sense aside, I do feel quite more at ease now."

"Glad someone's enjoying this." Dante said.

"I'm not. It's hot and itchy in this get-up, I think I'm allergic to it." Happy complained.

"Please, try to toughen up Tomcat." Carla told him.

"Yes, you are an ally to a Dragon Slayer." Rudra pointed out.

"Indeed, you must have the strength to work with such a powerful warrior." Agni added.

"Aye." Happy grumbled.

After a few more minutes of walking, the group came by the same air-born river they saw when they first arrived in Edolas.

"Hey, it's the flying river." Natsu observed.

"Well we got a general idea where we are now, that's sorta progress." Dante said.

"I've never seen anything like it before." Wendy observed.

"The rivers in the Demon World are much more terrifying than this." Agni said.

"We are not in the Demon World." Modeus reminded.

"Of course." Rudra replied.

"This just reminds me how hungry I am." Happy whined.

"I said, toughen up." Carla told him.

Happy's stomach growled again. "I bet there's tons of yummy fish swimming in that flying river."

Modeus spotted something. "Look over there."

They all turned towards a small cliff where they saw a fisherman with his line in the flying river.

"There's a man over there." Wendy said.

"He must be an Edolas native." Carla guessed.

"We finally found someone, maybe this guy can help us." Dante assumed.

"He's got the right idea, we should be fishing right now." Happy stated.

Dante looked around and noticed someone was missing from their group. "Uh… where did Natsu go?"

"Yo!"

Dante, Happy, Wendy, Modeus, and Carla looked shocked as soon as they heard that.

The man turned around. "Let me ask you something!" Natsu said with glowing yellow eyes, looking rather intimidating, resulting in the man screaming.

Dante face palmed while Modeus just looked surprised.

"Of course." Wendy grimaced.

"What is he doing?!" Carla questioned.

"Scarring the locals." Happy replied while sweat dropping

"I'm looking for a bunch of wizards from Fairy Tail, you seen them around?" Natsu asked the fisherman.

"This man asked you a question!" Agni exclaimed.

"And so you must answer it!" Rudra exclaimed as well.

The fisherman looked even more scared now. "Please, don't hurt me!" He ran away screaming.

"Wait! Hold on!" Natsu called, but he was long gone. "What was his problem?"

"How dare he run away from a true warrior!" Rudra exclaimed.

"What a coward." Agni spat.

Natsu was slapped in the back of the head by Dante. "Way to mess up, idiot. Oh and you two." He directed his attention to Agni and Rudra. "Talking swords aren't a common sight here either."

"How should we know that?!" Agni and Rudra both said at the same time.

"Think before you idiots act!" Carla stated with an anger vein over her head. "You walked up to someone minding there own business and started talking about Fairy Tails with a pair of talking swords, of course you scared him."

"Okay, then how do you guys suggest we find everyone?!" Natsu argued.

"Yes Cat, how would you suggest we approach this?" Rudra questioned.

"If you're so smart, what should be our plan then?" Agni added.

"Hey come on guys, you didn't mean to." Wendy tried to calm down.

"You we're trying to help, despite the mistake." Modeus tried as well.

"Listen!" Carla spoke up. "If that man reports us to the authorities, then we're through!"

"Let's ditch the costumes then please." Happy said.

"Right behind you, cat." Dante agreed.

Five minutes later, the group removed their leave-costumes and continued to walk deeper into the forest. Right now, they we're walking on top of a large log that was over a river.

"Now we're in even more of a hurry to find them." Carla said.

Happy gave a sigh of relief. "This feels a million times better!"

"At least we don't look like idiots anymore." Dante said.

"I just wish that guy left behind his fishing rod." Happy stated.

"Oh, did I mess that up to?" Natsu grumbled.

"It was not your fault." Agni consoled.

"Yes that man could have left it, instead of running off. Talk about an idiot." Rudra grumbled.

"Is food the only thing on your minds right now?" Modeus questioned.

Wendy stopped for a moment. "Hey, I think I just heard something."

"Yeah, I heard it to." Dante looked down to the river below. "Down there!"

A red, sea-like creature with blue eyes stuck its head out of the water and looked to the group.

"Whoa, big-fishy-alert!" Happy happily said.

"Awesome! Now stand back while I grab us dinner!" Natsu eagerly exclaimed.

Right after he said that, the fish emerged from the water, revealing that it was at least fifty-feet big and looked extremely fat, with a large fanged mouth.

"IT'S HUGE!" Natsu, Dante, Wendy, Happy, Modeus, and Carla, even Agni and Rudra, all exclaimed at the same time.

Wendy looked quite frightened, as did Carla while Modeus just looked surprised. Happy looked excited while Dante and Natsu looked more eager.

"We won't go hungry at least, I'm all fired up!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Natsu, remember you cannot use magic in this world!" Modeus reminded the Fire Dragon Slayer.

"Then how do I catch that thing?"

"Are you forgetting us?" Agni reminded Natsu.

"Yes, are blades are as sharp as ever. Use us!" Rudra said.

"Yes, let us help you." Agni agreed.

"Alright then." Natsu then took Agni in his left hand, and Rudra in his left hand. "Let's go!"

Natsu jumped off the log and straight for the giant fish. He made an x-slice with both swords and cut it just below its large mouth, resulting in the creature screaming. Natsu landed on the ground just by the river, wielding the two demon swords almost like a master. The fish turned around towards Natsu and lunged for him, actually going on land. Natsu rushed forward under it and used Agni to perform a long cut on the side, resulting in it screaming in even more pain. The fish tried to slap him with its large right fin, but Natsu used Rudra to cut the fin off. Natsu jumped back.

"Impressive." Rudra admitted.

"You think that's impressive, just wait." Natsu eagerly said as the giant land-bound fish was moving towards him, but a certain red-clad Devil Hunter stood in front of Natsu.

"Dante?"

"Nice way to soften him up kid." He flashed a grin. "Now watch a real swordsman at work."

Dante took Rebellion in his right hand, and his Ebony pistol in his left hand and charged forward. He fired Ebony, shooting many bullets at the large fish, resulting in it yelling in pain. Dante jumped forward and cut the left fin, and a large portion of its side, off before swerving under the fish and firing Ebony straight up, tearing many bullets through it. He twirled and threw Rebellion straight upwards, completely cutting through the large fish. The large sword flew straight through and up into the air. The large fish then rolled over on it's side and died. Dante outstretched his right hand and Rebellion returned to him, the blade gleaming in the sunlight and his red coat blowing in the wind almost like a cape.

"Whoa." Happy breathed as the other saw the whole thing.

"Sometimes I almost forget just how strong he is." Wendy said.

"He is the son of Sparda after all." Modeus reminded.

"Those two have no self-control at all, do they?"

Dante looked up to the group. "Dinner is served."

About an hour later; the group resumed their journey. They made a small campfire before hand and had barbecued pieces of the large fish that Natsu and Dante had slain. Now most we're eating some of the pieces they had just took as they we're walking.

"Life can get pretty weird sometimes, don't you think?" Happy said, just for the sake of conversation.

"That supposed to be a bad thing?" Dante said.

"I think we got passed 'weird' a long time ago." Natsu replied.

"I'll have to agree with you on that one." Modeus agreed.

"Uh oh." Wendy and Carla said at the same time.

"What's wrong?" Modeus asked.

They saw two people, and elderly woman and a young man, walking on top of a tree branch connecting two ridges just above the group. The two spotted the group.

"We've been spotted again." Carla observed.

Natsu looked to the two demon swords he held. "Okay guys." He whispered. "Try not to talk right now, we don't wanna scare them."

"Fair enough." Agni whispered.

"As you wish." Rudra whispered as well.

"So… someone speak up." Dante said.

Happy decided to speak and flashed a friendly smile. "Hello, we're not from around these parts and we seemed to have gotten a little lost in this forest."

The young man and old woman quickly bowed in fear. "We're sorry! It's not our fault, we swear!" The old woman said in fear, much to the group's surprise.

"Mighty Exceed, please forgive us and let us leave with our lives!" The young man begged.

"'Exceed'?" Natsu and Dante questioned at the same time.

"I wonder who they're talking about?" Wendy wondered.

Carla had a certain expression on her face, something Modeus noticed.

"Okay then, why don't I try?" Dante said as he walked up. "Hey listen, we're lost and looking for some friends of ours." As Dante talked, the two people looked towards Happy and all they could do was scream and run away shortly afterwards.

"PLEASE DON'T HURT US!" They screamed as they ran away, leaving a trail of dust, resulting in Dante sweat dropping.

The group now found themselves walking through a field of giant mushrooms.

"Wonder what got into them?" Natsu asked, referring to the people they just ran into.

"You cannot blame us this time." Agni pointed out.

"We kept quiet, as you told us to." Rudra said.

"It wasn't you two they we're afraid of." Modeus told the two swords.

"It's strange, but those two people seemed to be afraid of Happy and Carla." Wendy said.

"See it wasn't all my fault this time." Natsu said.

"Tell me the truth, am I really that scary looking?" Happy asked.

"You looked like you we're about to eat them up." Natsu joked.

"No I didn't."

As they talked, Carla had a face that looked as if this was to be expected. Dante noticed this face. He could tell there was more going on here in Edolas that what the white cat had previously explained earlier. He decided to keep a very special eye on Carla, and to have his sword and pistols on him at all times, just in case.

Natsu stepped an un unusual rock and it seemed to squeeze a bit, as though it we're made of rubber. All the other rocks around them mimicked this action.

"Well that is unusual." Modeus observed.

"Now what's happening?" Carla questioned.

"Something is going to happen in three… two… one…" Dante said. As soon as he finished, the rocks exploded like balloons, sending the group flying straight upwards.

They landed on one of the mushroom tops and began to comically bounce across the giant mushrooms like they we're trampolines. They bounced off one more before crashing into a small building that bore the appearance of a pumpkin.

"Everyone okay?" Dante asked.

"I don't wanna fall anymore." Wendy cried a bit.

"That's quite enough for me." Carla agreed.

They all got up.

"Where are we now?" Rudra asked.

"What is this place?" Agni asked as well.

"Looks like some kind of warehouse." Happy observed. This room was filled with all sorts of boxes and other useless items.

"Although I believe we are well beyond the point of taking protective measures, lets see if there are any clothes in here that we could use to disguise ourselves."

After about five minutes, most of the group had new appearances.

Natsu wore a thick grey coat with a red hood and cape with his trademark scarf, he had Agni and Rudra on his back crossed in an x-formation. Dante still wore his red jacket, no way was he taking it off, but he had a black shirt underneath it and a black hood as well, he still carried Rebellion on his back. Modeus found himself wearing a grey cape over his black jacket and clothes with a grey hood as well, he carried Nevan on his back. Wendy was wearing a red shirt with a yellow bow-tie, a black skirt and dark blue leggings, her hair was in two large pig-tails; she had Cerberus hooked to a belt around her waist. Happy wore a green cape with a metal helmet. Carla had pink pants, a magenta shirt, and purple cloth over hear forehead.

Natsu looked out the window and saw something.

"What is it Natsu?" Agni asked.

"What do you see?" Rudra also asked.

Dante walked up to Natsu and saw what he was seeing. "No way."

"What is it guys?" Wendy asked.

"It's Fairy tail!" Natsu exclaimed as he saw a wooden sign with the guild's symbol on it.

"What?!" Happy, Modeus, Wendy, and Carla all said at the same time.

Natsu, Wendy, and Dante all immediately ran to it with Happy, Carla, and Modeus close behind.

"You sure? It looks different." Dante observed.

"It's in disguise too, but I recognize it anywhere!" Natsu said. "That's where they are!"

They all came to the building that looked like it was carved into a large green tree. It had a small door with the words, 'Fairy Tail' over it. There was an orange flag tied to the top with the white guild emblem on it.

The group walked into the guildhall. So far, no one seemed to notice them. Everyone seemed to be minding his or her own business.

"They're okay!" Natsu said with comical tears of joy in his eyes.

"And it wasn't even that much trouble to find them." Wendy added with her own smile.

"Guys, hold on." Dante stopped them. "Something isn't right here."

"What do you mean?" Natsu asked.

"No, Dante is correct." Modeus said. "This place… it seems quite… different."

"Yeah, I think you guys are right." Happy agreed.

"There is something wrong here." Carla added.

The group was no hiding underneath an empty table and began to look around.

"Why are we hiding?" Agni asked.

"What is wrong here?" Rudra asked as well.

"You got me, I don't see why we have to hide and pretend we're not here." Natsu grumbled.

"Take a closer look." Dante told him.

They looked towards the request board. Juvia was there, she wore a white shirt that exposed her belly with a small pink tie, and she had a blue mini-skirt with tan leggings and a tiny blue hat and white gloves.

"Well I'm off, I just took on a pretty major job." She said to Max who wore a casual pink shirt.

"Take care." He told her.

"Juvia, my beloved, please wait!" A familiar voice called out; one that made Natsu bore a look of shock and confusion.

"If you're gonna go out, please take me with you. Pretty please." Grey said as he wore so many clothes it looked like he was overweight.

Juvia looked unimpressed. "You're such a wet-blanket, and take some of those clothes off for a change."

"…what?!..." Natsu could not believe what he was seeing.

"Grey is wearing too many clothes?!" Dante whispered. "We're lucky if he even decides to wear a pair of pants!

"Give me a shout when you deiced to wear your summer wardrobe." Juvia told him.

"I just get really cold." Grey whined.

Natsu's and Happy's jaws dropped while Wendy looked shocked, as did Natsu and Modeus.

"He needs to learn a thing or two about being clingy." Warren, wearing a purple shirt and red tie said with an amused smile.

"Poor guy is head-over-heals in love with her and just doesn't know what to do with himself." Max replied.

Natsu's entire body turned white. "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?" His mind shrieked.

Meanwhile; Jet, who was wearing a black jacket and green pants with a scar over his right eye; and Droy, who had a white jacket and magenta pants with sunglasses and a crossed-shape scar on his right cheek, looked like they we're berating Elfman, who wore a pink shirt and his hair was looking straight.

"I'm tired of your excuses Elfman!" Jet scolded.

"You actually screwed up another job!?" Droy scolded as well.

Elfman had tears in his eyes as they yelled at him. "It's so embarrassing."

"The last I recall, Elfman was the one scolding Jet and Droy, not the other way around." Modeus recalled.

Macao, who had a black jacket and glasses, was sitting with Wakaba who had a red t-shirt with a crossed out symbol over a cigarette on it.

"Miss Cana, would you like to share an adult beverage with us?" Macao offered.

"Yeah, tip one back and relax." Wakaba offered as well.

Cana meanwhile wore a fancy white dress with a southern hat, she bore a very friendly smile. "Oh don't be silly you two, I never had a drop of alcohol in my entire life, so why start now?"

Natsu's jaw fell to the ground.

Nab, who was wearing mostly green was looking at the request board. "Hey Mary!" He called out, that name caught Dante's attention. "I'm going out on a job, you wanna come?"

A woman, who looked exactly like Lady, was wearing a pink long dress with fancy white gloves over it; she had all green eyes. "Does it involve fighting?"

"Yep."

"Then no thanks." The woman called Mary replied. "I absolutely despise violence, you will never catch me wielding a weapon."

Dante was absolutely speechless.

Meanwhile Alzack and Bisca we're sitting together at a chair, with Bisca in his lap and hearts floating around the couple.

"Hey my hot biscuit." Alzack complemented.

"Alley-Cat, my little gun-slinger?" Bisca cooed.

Wendy looked like she was about to scream.

"You gotta man up!" Jet scolded Elfman.

"I know, I'm sorry." Elfman cried.

"And quit saying you're sorry all the time!" Droy exclaimed.

"I wanted to clear my love here and now, for Juvia!" The overly dressed Grey declared.

"I swear Grey, you're gonna smother that poor girl!" Reidus told him.

Natsu, Dante, Modeus, Wendy, and Happy honestly could not believe what they we're seeing; while Agni and Rudra both looked confused.

"Yeah… something is definitely wrong here." Natsu said.

"What the hell is going on?" Dante questioned.

"I may have only just started out as a member of this guild, but even I can tell this is strange." Modeus stated.

"Everyone is acting crazier than normal." Happy agreed.

But it looked like a certain someone had caught the group.

"Hey, what the heck do you think you're doing?"

Natsu, Dante, Wendy, and Happy bore looks of shock as they recognized this particular person. The entire guild looked in the direction of the group now.

"And… we're busted." Dante said.

"What?!" Natsu questioned.

"I don't believe it!" Wendy stated.

"What's the big idea with you sneaking around our guild like this."

"LUCY!?" Natsu, Happy, and Dante questioned at the same time.

This Lucy was clad in black with a skull-pin teeing her hair back.

"Modeus… Carla… I'm scared." Wendy shivered.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine." Modeus consoled.

"But what the devil is going on here?" Carla questioned.
