The Fairy Hunter and The Black Angel

Dante, Natsu, Wendy, Modeus, Happy, and Carla we're backed towards the entrance while being glared at by the bizarro-Fairy Tail. Dante had reached into his coat and held his Ebony pistol in cased things turned ugly.

"Hey, what the heck do you think you're doing?" Lucy questioned. "What's the big idea with you sneaking around our guild?"

Natsu stammered a bit. "I don't know, why are you all acting so freaky?"

"You think this place has warped their minds somehow?" Wendy asked Modeus.

"Possibly, but I wouldn't make any accusations until we know more information." Modeus replied.

Agni and Rudra would have probably said something but Natsu had told them to be quiet as long as they we're in this strange guildhall, and that is what they we're planning on doing.

Lucy took a good look at the dragon slayer. "Natsu?" Natsu gulped a bit where as Dante got ready to pull out his pistol, but no one was prepared for what came next. "Why didn't you just say it was you, you big bone-head?" She exclaimed as she hugged him.

Dante, Modeus, and Wendy we're surprised to say the least.

"Wait, that's Natsu?" Max asked.

"That's quite a fashion-statement bro." Warren joked.

"You have been gone for far too long, always the reckless one." The woman named Mary, who bore a resemblance to Lady observed.

"Natsu, where have you been?" Lucy asked as she continued to hug him. "I was thinking the worse happened. Don't ever make me worry like that again."

Dante just gave a blank stare. He knew Natsu and Lucy we're friends at least, but she never acted like this before.

"Um… I'm sorry?" Natsu said, as he was quite surprised himself.

"No! But you're gonna be!" Lucy exclaimed as she wrapped her legs around his neck and right arm, and he grimaced in pain.

"She's got em good!" Warren stated with a smile.

"No one can escape Lucy's Groin-Crush, it's one of her 48 Torture Techniques!" Max stated as well.

"'Torture Techniques'?!" Modeus questioned with wide eyes.

Happy's eyes we're white circles.

"What's going on?!" Wendy questioned with white circles for eyes as well.

"I have no idea." Dante said. "This is seriously messed up."

Cana strangely had a sweet smile on her face. "Lucy, don't be so hard on the poor thing, you know how he can be."

"Whoa!" Happy exclaimed. "Why isn't half-naked and fully-drunk?!"

Modeus turned to the crying Elfman. "I seem to recall him being more of the kind of man that doesn't cry, and always preaching about manhood."

"For crying out loud! Would you stop crying out loud!?" Jet and Droy both exclaimed at the same time.

"I'm sorry I can't help it!" Elfman cried.

"I swear this place is just too violet sometimes." Mary observed. "Why can't we all just get along, violence is never the answer."

"Why is the gun-wielding-Lady calling herself 'Mary' and acting like a pacifist?!"Happy exclaimed.

"Why is everyone acting so crazy!?" Happy questioned as he shivered. "My poor little brain feels like it's about to explode!"

"Are these guys high or something…?" Dante questioned in his mind. "No, it's something else."

"We're glad you made it back in one piece." Grey said before turning to Juvia. "Right? My sweet Juvia?"

"Sure whatever."

Happy and Carla stood close to Dante. "Wendy's right." Happy said. "This place has changed them somehow. It's the only explanation for why they're being so weird."

Dante glanced at Carla who was observing all of it. He had a feeling she was probably thinking the same thing he was thinking.

"Hey Natsu!" Mira called from behind the bar. "Glad you made it back safely." She said in her usual happy mood.

"At least Mira's the same." Natsu said in relief.

"Yeah that's kind of a disappointment." Happy said.

"Something is definitely not right here." Dante thought.

"By the way Natsu." Macao began. "What's with the little kid and the cats, you a babysitter now?" He asked referring to Wendy, Happy, and Carla.

"Yeah and what about those two guys, where'd you dig them up?" Wakaba asked referring to Dante and Modeus.

But everyone soon had looks mixed with shock and terror. "WHAT ARE THESE CATS DOING HERE?!" Most of the guild shrieked.

"How'd they get inside?!" Jet questioned.

"Those aren't regular house cats, those are Exceeds!" Droy exclaimed.

"No way…" Grey shivered.

"Shouldn't we do something?!" Juvia questioned.

"Are we going to die? Are they going to kill us?" Mary questioned with fear evident in her voice.

"Again with the Exceeds, what's up with that?" Dante asked.

"That title seems to carry some sort of fear and distain with it." Modeus observed.

"Um… it's the outfits isn't it?" Happy asked.

"Natsu what the hell is going on?!" Lucy questioned.

"Hey Dante?" The dragon slayer turned to him. "Have you noticed that everyone we meet freaks out when they hear the word Exceed?"

"That I have." Dante replied. "This world is all kinds of screwed up."

"Carla…?" Wendy asked her white cat who continued to look around and observe.

Happy had taken off his helmet and breathed a sigh of relief. "Its way to hot for this get-up."

Modeus decided to speak up to ease some of the tension. "I assure you whatever these Exceed-beings are, these two are not of that title." He said referring to Happy and Carla. "They mean you no harm."

Mira stepped up and kneeled close to Happy. "Well they do look a lot like them…" She smiled a bit. "Now I understand why everyone's so on edge."

"You know…" Elfman began. "I think that guy in the black is right. Don't worry, the little guys just look like Exceeds."

"Whatever you say." Juvia guessed.

Mary breathed a massive sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness."

"I got a bad feeling." Max said.

"That makes two of us I mean a spade's a spade." Warren added.

Happy sighed and looked a bit dejected. "Uh… spade?"

"It's a poker reference." Dante told him.

Meanwhile in the forest outside, not too far from the Guildhall, a certain individual was walking through the forest of Edolas. This was a being at least six feet tall, clad completely in black armor with a dark red cape. He had a massive demonic-looking-sword sheathed on his back. He also had a black helmet with curved horns pointing downward and an emotionless face on the helmet. His most unique feature we're yellow eyes that carried a strong sense of evil with them.

Natsu, Dante, Happy, and Carla we're sitting at a table, being glared at by Lucy. Mira and Mary also sat at the same table, while Wendy was standing close to Modeus.

"Lucy's really scary." Wendy said.

"This is not right." Modeus said as well.

"Spill it cat-wrangler, I want to know where you've been and what you've been doing." Lucy interrogated.

"I don't suppose I can get back to you on that." Natsu suggested.

"We don't have time for this so just tell her everything." Dante told him.

"Fine, but then again I was asleep during most of it." Natsu sighed.

Lucy then put him into another torture-hold. "Geeze! Can you be anymore annoying, just spit it out!"

"My goodness Lucy take it easy on him would you?" Mary questioned. "It's bad enough that it's too dangerous to go outside, but no one would want to come home to be tortured by you."

"You're not my mom!"

"No, but someone has to keep you in control while your aunt is away." Mary told her.

"Fine." Lucy said as she let him go, causing Natsu to fall on the ground.

"Since when is Lady the one to break up a fight?" Happy questioned.

Meanwhile; Bisca and Alzack we're cuddling next to each other with hearts floating around them.

"Mind if I bend your ear?" Alzack asked.

"Only if you promise to be rough with it." Bisca answered.

Wendy and Modeus we're both watching this scene take place.

"The thought of you and I going on a job gets you all excited Biscuit?"

"Oh you bet it does, what do you have in mind my Sugar Pistol?"

"Any job you want to go on is fine with me my Bikini Blossom."

"Oh Love-Riffle, you're so sweet. Let's get out on a romantic island get away."

Wendy was sweat dropping and shivering at the sight of all this. "You know I kinda feel like I shouldn't be watching any of this."

"I am glad they voiced their feelings to each other but I believe there should also be personal space and restraint involved in this." Modeus agreed with Wendy.

"So Juvia…" Grey began. "I heard you're going on a job soon, if you want some company I'd love to come with you."

"Why would I want help from a walking-coat-rack?" Juvia replied as she turned her back on him. "Don't make me laugh, I can handle any job on my own, I don't need a partner."

Dante looked at this with surprise. "Isn't it the other way around?" He asked referring to Grey and Juvia

Grey looked dejected at Juvia's statement. "You know sometimes the best course of reaction is to give it a rest." Macao told him.

"No kidding." Wakaba added. "When it comes to the ladies, you're more of a lost cause than Lyon."

"I can't believe you would compare me to that over-clothed pick-up artist." He went right back to Juvia. "Please my darling, I'll be a good boy."

Juvia had an anger mark on her head as she kicked Grey away like a soccer-ball. He even bounced all around the room like a soccer ball too, until Mary finally caught him.

"Grey, you know I do not like hurting people's feelings, but I don't think Juvia is too interested in you, I'm sorry." Mary said with sincerity in her voice.

Grey had comical tears coming from his eyes. "But she's my Juvia…" He cried as Mary consoled by patting his back. "How about I get you some hot chocolate, okay? Will that cheer you up?"

"Yes please, thank you Mary."

Happy looked confused. "Is Lady actually… being nice? And why is everyone calling her 'Mary'? Her name is 'Lady' isn't it?"

Dante looked even more curiously at this. She hadn't gone by Mary since…. Something was defiantly not right here.

Meanwhile; Levy appeared to be working on some kind of large machine in the back. "Of course the conducting wire is shorted out, just my luck." As she worked, Nab continued to run around saying that he's going on yet another job. Levy couldn't take any more. "Darn it now, would you put a sock in it?!"

"What'd you say to me? You need a major tune up on your attitude Levy." Nab told her.

"I don't have time for your lame jokes, did you forget how vital this machine is?" Levy got back to work. "I can't get it working with you screaming like a little kid every four seconds!"

"Come out and play Natsu!" Lucy called. "I got a new technique that I want to try on you!"

"That goes double for you Blondie, shut your trap!" Levy exclaimed.

"What was that?!" Lucy questioned.

Mary sweat dropped as she rubbed her hand down her face. "Oh geeze, not again."

Levy and Lucy we're bunting their heads together. "It's hard enough to finish this job without you acting like a crazed gorilla you branny beast!" Levy exclaimed.

"That's funny coming from a scrawny grease monkey who can't even fix one piece of junk!" Lucy stated back.

Mary tried to ease the situation. "Hey come on, we're all friends here. Besides Lucy, Levy's machine has saved our lives more times than I'd care to mention, you should show her more respect."

Levy shot a victorious smile towards Lucy.

"What?" Lucy questioned. "Quit wasting time and get that thing working."

"Well that is what I do best." Levy said with a tone of confidence in her voice.

Meanwhile; Wendy, Dante, Modeus and Carla sat a table with Natsu and Happy hiding under it.

"You know, we've seen most of our friends here, but we haven't seen Erza around." Dante observed.

"Yeah you're right." Wendy agreed. "I haven't heard anyone even mention her name."

"That may not be entirely bad, considering how everyone here is acting like the complete opposite of their normal behaviors." Modeus said.

"Well with our luck, she'd be even more psycho than Lucy." Natsu said.

"I hope not." Wendy hopped.

"It's hard to imagine what Erza's opposite would be like." Happy said.

"Maybe it's something like this…" Natsu began to imagine.

"ARE YOU A COMPLETE AND UTTER MORRON!?" Natsu yelled while pointing to a crying Erza on her knees. "HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU EXPECT ME TO CLEAN UP YOUR MESSES HUH?!"

Erza cried and bowed her head repeatedly. "I'm so sorry! Forgive me Natsu! I won't be a burden to you anymore just give me another chance!"

"Apology accepted." Natsu said. "Keep trying and you'll be as strong as me."

"My greatest wish, master." Erza said while crying tears of joy.

Reality

"Like that." Natsu said with a mischievous grin.

"Yeaaa…. No." Dante replied. "Sorry bro."

"Yeah there's no way bizarro-Erza would be that pathetic." Happy said.

"Do you have an idea of what she would be like?" Modeus asked Happy.

"Oh I just don't think, friend. I know."

Erza stood wielding her sword against a massive dragon-like creature.

"Lord Happy, allow me to take care of this nuisance." Erza told him.

"Aye." Happy replied with crossed arms and a cocky-smile. "I shall leave it to you."

Erza turned around to him. "Thank you lord. I will use every tool in my arsenal to serve your will."

Happy meanwhile sat on a beach-chair with sunglasses, an umbrella over him, a table with fish and juice on it. "Yes, yes, that's quite reassuring. Now hop to it my faithful servant, chop-chop."

"Aye sir!"

Reality

"Awesome." Happy dreamed.

"Wow." Dante breathed. "That's even more pathetic than Natsu's idea."

"No kidding." Natsu agreed. "And you had the nerve to make fun of my fantasy?"

Wendy began to think a bit. "I think I'd know what she'd be like."

Wendy and Erza we're surrounded by dozens of massive strawberry cakes. Erza was in a bathing suit with an apron and a sheaf's hat with a mixing bowl and beater.

"I baked them just for you, so don't let them go to waste. Eat as much as your little heart desires." Erza said in a sweet-tone of voice.

Wendy marveled at the sight. "Thank you so much! They look delicious!"

Erza laughed. "Just be sure to floss afterwards."

Reality

"Like that." Wendy said.

"You gotta be kidding!" Natsu and Happy said at the same time.

"That's sweet." Modeus told Wendy. "You make it as though she we're your mother."

Wendy blushed a bit with a smile. "I do kinda see her like that."

"Well, this is all good and everything, but I don't think she'd be like any of that." Dante stated.

"Oh, so how would you see her Dante?" Wendy asked.

"Something along the lines of…"

Erza bowed before a massive black cloud with three red eyes in the center.

"What is your command Lord Mundus?" Erza asked. "I am but an extension of your will. Just say the word and it shall be done master."

"You are my greatest servant." Modeus said. "My Demon-Queen. You shall clear the path and destroy the pests of humanity to make way for my darkness that will stand till the end of time."

"My desire is your desire." Erza said as she stood up. "I shall destroy all who dare oppose you and bring their heads to you on a pike."

"I could not have asked for a better warrior."

Reality

"Something, like that." Dante finished.

Wendy, Happy, even Natsu looked with wide eyes at that.

"I'm scared." Wendy shivered.

"You would truly see her as a servant of Mundus?" Modeus asked.

"Hey, you guys asked." Dante said.

"You've got a seriously messed up imagination Dante." Happy observed.

"Yeah, you really need to lighten up." Natsu agreed.

Carla heard all of this. "What did you expect? He is half-demon after all."

"Still, it makes me wonder what Erza would be like here in Edolas." Modeus wondered.

Meanwhile; a certain redhead was riding on a dragon-like creature that flew through the air. Her face containing no emotion what-so-ever as she flew to her destination.

"Hide and seek is over!" Lucy said as she pulled Natsu out from under the table.

"Man you're obsessive!" Natsu told her.

"This new move is gonna rock your socks off!"

"Quit it!" Natsu exclaimed. "I don't have time for this freaky pain thing when…"

"That so?" Lucy questioned. "So you wanna play rough? I like that game." Before she could punch though, someone grabbed her hand.

"Okay, that's enough." Dante said as he held Lucy's fist.

Lucy pulled it back. "Mind your own business pretty boy."

"'Pretty boy'?" Natsu, Wendy, Happy, even Modeus questioned.

"Look sweetheart." Dante told her. "I like a good beating every now and then, but you need to back off and take a chill pill, you got that?"

Lucy looked shocked at that, as did the rest of the guild.

Cana covered her mouth. "This is guy is talking back to Lucy?"

"That's a brave man." Warren observed.

"Brave, or stupid?" Max also guessed.

"Oh, so you wanna play rough to buddy?" Lucy asked. "Okay, I'll play rough!" Lucy tried to put Dante in a chock-hold, but he caught both of her hands. The next thing she knew, she was thrown into a table, which broke upon impact. The guild was rendered silent at what just happened.

Lucy tried to get up, but didn't make much distance as Rebellion was pointed towards her.

"I don't normally hit girls." Dante began. "But you needed to be taken down a peg. So, back off, or you'll answer to me, am I clear?"

Lucy was speechless at this but sighed. "Yeah, you're clear."

"Good." Dante said as he sheaved Rebellion back.

The guild honestly did not know what to say at this.

"Who is this guy?" Mary asked. "He took down Lucy without breaking a sweat."

"And just look at that sword of his." Macao observed.

"That thing is huge!" Wakaba also observed.

"I think I like this guy." Levy said with a bit of a cocked smile.

"Well Lucy did kinda deserve it a bit, always harassing Natsu like that." A certain voice spoke up, it came from a certain girl who looked towards Lucy as she got up "You should know better."

Natsu looked at this girl and could not believe what he was seeing. His pupils shrank.

"Fine, whatever." Lucy sighed as she dusted herself off.

"Am I dreaming?" Happy breathed as he saw the girl.

"Who is that?" Modeus asked Wendy. "I never saw her around the guild before back in Earthland."

"Neither have I." Wendy replied.

"Hey, welcome home." Elfman greeted the girl.

Mira also walked up to greet her. "Glad you made it back, Lisanna."

"Good to see you Sis, you to Bro."

"Lisanna?" Dante questioned in honest surprise. He remembered hearing about how she died and yet she stood here right before everyone.

"Did you say 'Lisanna'?" Modeus asked. "Mirajane and Elfman's younger sister?" Dante nodded. "I thought she had passed away."

"I heard that to." Dante replied. He then looked towards Natsu who still couldn't believe who stood in front of him.

"It's… really… you…" Natsu breathed.

"She's alive…" Happy also breathed with tears forming in his eyes.

Natsu immediately flashed back to many years ago, right when he first joined up with Fairy Tail.

Little Natsu sat near the water in the middle of a storm. He didn't mind the rain that was pouring down on him, or the thunder that echoed in the sky. Though he still looked down with a face that was evidentially filled with loneliness and sadness.

Little Lisanna walked up to him with a red umbrella and put it over him to shield him from the rain. "You're gonna catch a cold, you know." She told him.

"Oh hey." Little Natsu greeted. "Um… what was your name again?"

"I'm Lisanna, silly." She answered with a smile.

Little Natsu then remembered. "That's right, your Mira's little sister." He said as he stood up.

"Got it." She replied. "So why are you out here all alone? It's much more cozy inside." Little Natsu looked down, as he didn't have an answer. "It's okay, you don't have to answer that one. So Natsu, is it true you we're raised by a dragon? That's incredible!"

Natsu perked up a bit "Yeah, his name's Igneel."

"I'd love to see one for myself some day. It sounds fun!" Little Lisanna said.

Little Natsu had a smile on his face now. "Sure is, Igneel's awesome! I'd bet you'd really like him! He's super strong and as big as a house! He taught me all the Dragon Slayer magic I know, wanna see?" He excitedly asked.

"You bet, but let's get out of the rain first."

"Okay."

Dante looked towards Natsu who couldn't take his eyes of Lisanna, he could probably guess what he was thinking right now. All sorts of memories and emotions wheeled up in Natsu as his heart began to race.

"It's been fun playing house with you. Maybe someday I can be you're real wife?"

"It's so pretty!"

"It be nice if we could stay like this forever, don't you think?"

Tears formed in Natsu's eyes as all these words and memories played in his mind as if it we're yesterday.

Little Natsu carried the egg that held the yet-to-be-born Happy in the little house, where little Lisanna greeted him.

"Welcome back dear." Little Lisanna greeted, almost like a housewife.

"Oh… uh… what…?" Little Natsu questioned, as he didn't quite get it.

"I said 'welcome back dear'!" Little Lisanna repeated, a bit more irritated this time.

"Oh… uh… Hi honey, I'm home?" Little Natsu tried, resulting in little Lisanna blushing.

"Hey Lisanna, what are you doing?" Little Natsu asked as he carried little Happy and they saw little Lisanna set up some flowers near a grave.

"Just putting some flowers for big-brother-Elfman's pet bird."

"Your brother made that grave-stone all by himself?"

Little Lisanna put her hands together as though she we're praying. "He loved his little bird so much."

"He's better at crafting than magic." Little Natsu said.

Little Lisanna turned to little Natsu and Happy. "Hey Natsu, if anything happens to me, would you make my grave-stone."

"Huh?!" Little Natsu questioned. "What are you even talking about?!"

"Are you going to go where the birdy went?" Little Happy asked.

"Cut it out!" Little Natsu exclaimed. "It's bad luck to talk like that and creepy."

Little Lisanna still had a smile on her face. "Someday everybody needs a grave-stone of their own."

Two years before present day.

Natsu and Happy came into the guildhall to find everyone crying. People say that they can't believe she's gone and there isn't even a body for them to bring back. Natsu looked to see Mira and Elfman in tears. The teary-eyed Mira looked to Natsu and he immediately knew what it meant.

Natsu and Happy both stood before the grave that he had made for her, with a bouquet of flowers laid in front of it. The stone stood in front of the little house the two made in their childhood for Happy while he was still an egg.

"Natsu? Why'd you make a grave for her out here when there was already one at the church?" Happy asked.

"This was her favorite spot." Natsu replied. "She'd love… to sit and watch the sunset. As long as this is here, she'll never miss a single one."

"You're right." Happy said.

Tears fell down the Dragon Slayer's face. It felt as though something from his heart had been cut out. "I wish I… could have told her… I… couldn't keep my promise… I… I won't be able to find her this time." He said as tears continued to fall.

"Natsu!" She called out to him. "I'll be home real soon." She said with a wink.

"Hey, if I ever went missing like that you'd come looking for me, wouldn't you? You wouldn't just let me stay gone right?"

Present Time, Edolas.

"…I found you…"

Natsu would likely have done something stupid and embarrassing, if it weren't for Dante, who just put a hand on his shoulder.

"Natsu, you need to sit down."

"But she…"

"Come on." Dante put his arm around Natsu's shoulder and sat him down near a chair. "Hey! Can I get some water over here?!" He called out.

Mary came by with a glass of water, which Dante handed to Natsu.

"Is he okay?" Mary asked with concern.

"He just needs a minute." Dante said as he looked to Natsu who looked confused and happy at the same time.

Modeus also sat Happy down close to Natsu as well, and helped to console the confused cat. "How is she even here?"

Wendy came in as well. "Lisanna? But I thought she died." She said.

Carla decided to speak up. "We thought this world was the opposite of our own, but that's not the case."

"She's right." Dante also spoke up to his group. "Almost everyone is acting different, except for Mirajane who's acting just like how she does back home."

"But the biggest proof is right there." Carla pointed in one direction to a young woman who looked like a grown up version of Wendy.

"Are you saying that's me?!" Wendy exclaimed.

"A more, grown-up, version of you." Modeus added.

"This is bad, we should leave here. As quickly as possible." Carla advised.

"Why what's going on?" Happy asked.

"Carla's right. These people aren't our friends, there from Edolas; or if you want to get scientific, they're Edolas versions of our friends, counterparts from another world. Like twins almost."

"That is quite correct." Carla agreed. "Edolas is a separate world with it's own history and culture, so it stands to reason that the existence of a different Fairy Tail is also possible."

"That would make sense. It would also explain the differences between this Edolas Fairy Tail and the one we know." Modeus added.

Wendy gasped. "No way."

"My head hurts, I can't handle all this crazy-complicated-talk." Happy complained.

"Okay, if these people aren't our friends, where are we supposed to find them?" Natsu asked, getting back to the situation. Despite it feeling like something in his heart was torn out all over again.

"We can worry about that after we get out of here. Come on." Dante said.

"Yes, we must leave now!" Carla said as she took Happy's paw.

"But Carla, where will we go?" Wendy asked.

"The Royal City." Carla answered. "If there are clues to the whereabouts from our friends, we'll surely find them there."

Before they could get to the door, Nab came inside with a look of terror on his face.

"We got big trouble! THE FAIRY HUTNER'S HERE!"

Everyone in the Edolas Fairy Tail had a look of shock and terror on his or her face.

"And it's not just her!" Mary came in as well. "She's got a friend, The Black Angel is with her to!

"THE BLACK ANGEL!?" Almost everyone in the Edolas Fairy Tail screamed, as that name would seem to strike even more terror than 'Fairy Hunter'.

"Where do you think you're going?!" Lucy questioned to Happy and Carla who we're about to exit. "You wanna die!? Don't you dare walk out!"

"The Fairy Hunter and The Black Angel!?" Max questioned. "How'd they even find us!?"

"We can't stand against either one of them, how can we handle both!?" Warren questioned as well.

"Those monsters, from the Kingdom." Cana spoke with dread. "Will they never stop hunting us?!"

"I don't know if we'll get out of this one." Macao and Wakaba said at the same time.

"The Kingdom?!" Happy questioned to Carla.

"They're the ones who created Anima and sent the two of us on our mission to Earthland." Carla answered.

"But that means…. You and I are enemies of Fairy Tail!" Happy spoke with fear and confusion in his voice.

Levy was sitting in her machine, preparing the device. "Preparing reactor for ignition! Entering coordinates!" The machine began to hum to life. "Automated error-correction in five… four… three… two… one! We're connected! Routing magic power to shock-absorbers!"

"Shut up and cast the teleportation circle already!" Lucy told her.

"You wanna go out there and buy us some time?!" Levy questioned. Mira and Elfman held Lisanna close as the guildhall itself began to shake and pebbles slowly rose from the ground and into the air.

"You're so funny!" Lucy said sarcastically. "Just cast it before those two get here!"

"I'm trying, don't rush me!"

Natsu and Dante stood next to each other.

"Fairy Hunter? Black Angel? What the hell is going on?!" Natsu questioned.

"Don't know, but it can't be good." Dante replied.

The entire building was shaking even more and began to vibrate at an intense rate as all the Edolas wizards inside began to panic as fear clearly set in.

"What's going on here?!" Happy questioned as he and Carla looked around in surprise.

"Modeus…" Wendy shivered. "I don't like this."

"Just stay close to me and you'll be fine." He assured her.

"Levy, hurry. Both those monsters are on our doorstep!" Mary told her.

"You wanna walk instead?!" She angrily questioned as the building vibrated even more. "Two minutes to teleport!"

"You don't have two minutes!"

That voice made all of the Edolas Wizards, even Wendy, shudder in fear as they looked to the door that burst open.

"THEY'RE HERE!" Elfman screamed.

The Fairy Hunter's massive flying steed hung over the building; but what was even more terrifying to them was the black smoke from the ground outside. They all looked to see dark electricity emerge from the smoke and a humanoid being slowly rise from it; the very same that was trekking the woods some time ago. His yellow eyes bore a hole in the souls of all Edolas Fairy Tail members.

"It's him…" Mary whimpered. "The Black Angel… Nelo Angelo!"

He drew his sword, which surged with dark lightning. "Fairy Tail… we meet at last."

All the Edolas Fairy Tail wizards looked in fear except for Levy who tried to ready the spell. Dante, Natsu, Wendy, Modeus, Happy, and Carle looked to this being and knew that he was not a normal person.

"Finally, the last of the guilds will be destroyed. Now, prepare to die!" He surged forward while everyone screamed. However, all they heard was a clash of metal.

All the Edolas Fairy Tail wizards looked in surprise to see Dante using Rebellion to block Nelo Angelo's sword strike before he could get in the building. Nelo Angelo looked to Dante and his yellow eyes widened in shock.

"Impossible!"

"Get lost, ugly." Dante said before he kicked Nelo Angelo in the chest, forcing him out.

Using this opportunity, Dante swung Rebellion and gathered some of the active magic in the air from the spell. He then sent a red energy wave from Rebellion that hit Nelo Angelo dead on and sent him skidding across the ground.

Lucy was the first to collect herself from the surprise. "Be amazed later! Levy GET US OUT OF HERE NOW!"

"But why would the Kingdom send these two after Fairy Tail, I don't understand!" Wendy said.

"Are you that out of the loop?" The Edolas Wendy questioned her counterpart. "The King ordered all guilds destroyed to protect the limited magic supply. Out of all of them, only one is still standing, and it's this one. I don't know where you think you are, but this is Fairy Tail, and we're a Dark Guild."

Wendy and Modeus both became shocked at this.

"What did you say?" Modeus questioned.

"Alright! Teleportation circle deploying!" Levy stated as she activated the machine and it began to vibrate and look as though it we're turning intangible. Everyone soon rose in the air as the spell worked.

Nelo Angelo got himself back up outside and could see the guildhall about to disappear.

"WHY IS EVERYTHING FLOATING!?" Natsu questioned.

"Oddly enough, this is not the strangest thing that's happened to me." Dante said, surprisingly remaining calm.

"Commence Teleport!" Levy announced as Nelo Angelo rushed towards the guildhall and the Fairy Hunter did the same on her steed.

"Wait a second… this is a vehicle?!" Natsu said with dread.

"Aw crap." Dante uttered as he saw Natsu's cheeks puff up, his motion-sickness getting to him.

The entire building was engulfed in a white light. It soon vanished from sight and sunk underground just as the Fairy Hunter's flying steed and Nelo Angelo got it. All that was left was a smoking crater.

"Filthy cowards!" The Fairy Hunter cursed.

"I will say this, they have proven capable of eluding even the most deadly of warriors." Nelo Angelo acknowledged.

"Insects should be squashed, not praised." The Fairy Hunter replied. "And you we're here before I, how could you have failed to slay one, Black Angel."

"One caught me off guard, I was carless." Nelo Angelo replied. "But they we're not my intended target, I was told to find you. Apparently, all Captains of the Magic Warfare unit are to return to the city at once, your king's orders."

"So Earthland's Fairy Tail has been destroyed?"

"More accurately, it has been absorbed. It and the town surrounding it, as well as all those wizards have been absorbed by your anima and transformed into a giant lacrima."

"Splendid. Than Edolas' magic supply should be filled to capacity for quite sometime."

"Indeed, now return to your castle, I will catch up shortly."

The Fairy Hunter's flying steed took to the sky while Nelo Angelo looked deep in thought as he looked to the smoking crater.

"Sparda's youngest son is here." Nelo Angelo thought to himself. "This could pose a problem. It's one I cannot overcome however; soon, Edolas will belong to my one true master."

Nelo Angelo then sprouted black eagle-like wings from his back and took off after the Fairy Hunter.

In the middle of a dessert in Edolas, all seemed calm. That is, until the Edolas Fairy Tail sprouted out from the ground like a tree rapidly growing.

"That was close but we made it." Edolas Lucy said.

"Thank goodness." Mary sighed in relief.

All the occupants of the guildhall we're sprawled across the floor and soon picked themselves back up.

"You guys okay?" Natsu asked to Dante, Happy, Wendy, and Modeus.

"My pride is hurt, but I'll manage." Dante replied.

"I am unharmed." Modeus added.

"I think the entire building changed location." Happy grunted.

"So did my stomach." Wendy grunted.

Elfman was helping Lisanna off the ground. "Lisanna, you're not hurt are you?"

"No big brother, I'm still in one piece." She assured.

Lucy and Levy bunted heads again with flames behind them in the background. "You sure took your sweat time firing that thing up, they we're right on top of us!"

"Shut up!" Levy replied. "What exactly did you do to help us!?"

Dante picked himself up and dusted himself off. "That was something."

Natsu got up next to Dante. "Yeah, you're right. Who we're those two?"

"You seriously forgotten?" Mary asked Natsu. "You must have hit your head when we landed. The one in black is Nelo Angelo, also known as the Black Angel. Wherever he goes, death is sure to follow. Some say he's not even human."

"And that woman at the reigns of the monster?" Dante asked.

"She's one of the captains of the Kingdom's Magic Warfare Units. The Fairy Hunter, also known as Erza Knightwalker." Mary replied.

That statement hit Natsu, Dante, Wendy, Happy, Carla, and Modeus hard; almost like a bombshell.

"Did you just say… Erza?" Dante questioned.

Done.

That's it for this chapter. I'm sure you all have a ton of questions so I want to clarify a few things with you real quick…

1) Dante, Vergil, Trish, and Modeus will NOT have Edolas counterparts in this story (I'm not using the DMC reboot versions either, sorry). The reason will be explained in the next chapter. (Oh, and just to remind you, Trish will be with Gajeel for the first part of the arc).

2) Yes, Mary is the Edolas counterpart to Lady.

3) Nelo Angelo is not the Edolas counterpart to Dante or Vergil; nor is he a brainwashed Vergil like in the games. This is a new take on Nelo Angelo, and he is a demon. I know Carla said that demons aren't from Edolas, but Nelo Angelo isn't from Edolas, this will be explained later on. But lets just say the Edolas Kingdom may not be the only threat right now.
