Hello everyone. Thank you for your patience. So to recap, the war in Edolas has begun. Nelo Angelo has revealed his true colors and now our heroes have to not only stop him, but to stop the mad king Faust from accomplishing his plans as well. Our heroes now have their powers back and the fight is just about to begin. Thanks for waiting. Lets get started.
Clash in E-Land Part 1
Dante, Natsu, Grey, Modeus, Lucy, and Lisanna all stood in the active amusement park that is E-Land, facing the dreaded Black Angel, Neo Angelo who has revealed his intentions. While each of the Fairy Tail heroes appeared to be glaring, Nelo Angelo looked amused underneath his helmet. He wielded his sword, which lit with dark lightning.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Nelo Angelo questioned. "You're magic has returned and you're enemy stands before you. Will you run and hide again? Or will you face me in combat?"
With nothing else needing to be said, the first one to leap forward was Natsu with his flaming fists.
"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" Natsu's attack made contact with Nelo Angelo's sword. The result was a small shockwave that seemed to knock back the Black Angel. As he slid slightly black, Grey ran and slid facing Nelo Angelo's right side.
"Freeze!" Grey thrusted his hands to the ground, creating a trail of ice spikes to zoom towards the enemy. Nelo Angelo quickly raised his blade and brought it down, creating an arc of dark lightning to intercept Grey's attack, creating a brief explosion.
Nelo Angelo jumped up to gain some distance, but while in the air there was a flash behind him. "Take Over: Animal Soul: Harpy!"
Lisanna had transformed; her arms turning into bird-like wings and her legs into hawk-like talons. As she soured down to the Black Angel, he caught her legs and threw her down towards the ground; but Natsu was able to catch her after propelling himself into the air with fire.
As Nelo Angelo landed, he looked to his right and saw Modeus running towards him. Modeus threw both his arms out and extended his hands, causing two black swords to rise from the ground. Modeus then slashed at Nelo Angelo in an x-formation but the Nelo Angelo was able to block the attack with his own sword.
"Hold him right there, Modeus!" Lucy stated as she took out one of her keys "Open! Gate of the Archer! Sagittarius!"
With a doorbell sound, the Celestial Spirit Sagittarius appeared, in a saluting position. "You summoned me, my lady?"
"See that creep in the black armor, take him down!" Lucy ordered.
"Righty-o my lady!" Sagittarius aimed his bow and launched a volley of arrows at Nelo Angelo.
Grey followed a similar attack as he was on the other side of the struggle. "Ice Make: Lance!" Grey launched a volley of ice lances at Nelo Angelo right as Natsu was in the air above him.
"Fire Dragon Roar!" Natsu unleashed a stream of fire from his mouth.
All three attacks soared at the Black Angel just as Modeus jumped back so he wouldn't get caught in it. This resulted in a large explosion where Nelo Angelo once stood. Only for the armored demon to jump clear out of the flames, with steaming armor, much to the surprise of most of the group.
However, as Nelo Angelo was airborne, he saw Dante jumping right at him. With his own demonic strength returned, Dante soared at incredible speed and crashed with Nelo Angelo, crashing the later into a castle attraction of the amusement park. Dante and Nelo Angelo jumped from the debris and landed on the roof of the attraction facing each other.
"Thanks for softening him up guys, I'll take it from here." Dante said in a cocky grin as he pulled out Ebony and Ivory, opening fire on Nelo Angelo. He ran around on the rooftop it looked as though he was circling before he came running straight for Dante with his demonic sword.
Dante quickly pulled out Rebellion and was able to block it. From there the two clashed their blades in a fast-paced sword duel. Sparks flew from their blade clashes, due to Nelo Angelo's dark lightning. As they clashed again and locked blades.
"Did you forget Dante?" Nelo Angelo questioned. "I was made from your essence, as well as that of your brother and father. I am just as fast and quick as you!"
"Is that so?" Dante asked with a cocky grin. "Quicksilver!" A cyan circle appeared under Dante as his speed increased dramatically. With much force, Nelo Angelo was forced off the roof.
As he fell, Dante, surrounded by a cyan aura, laid a series of rapid punches and slashes faster than the human eye can see as a cyan blur sped around the falling Nelo Angelo.
As he crashed onto the ground; Dante's Quicksilver wore off as he unleashed his million-stab technique, thrusting Rebellion forward multiple times, creating red energy blasts that hit Nelo Angelo at the same pace as machine gun fire.
Grey and Natsu both joined in on it as well as they leapt to Dante's left and right sides respectively.
"Fire Dragon Roar!"
"Ice Make: Cannon!"
Natsu unleashed his fire breath again as Grey shot out a massive ice blast from his own ice-cannon-construct.
"Go for it Sagittarius!" Lucy ordered as well.
"With pleasure my lady!" The archer celestial spirit once more unleashed a volley of arrows.
All four attacks hit Nelo Angelo dead on and sent him crashing into a nearby merry-go-round; resulting in a large explosion. Modeus and Lisanna both joined up with the others as they looked towards the dust cloud. However, as the dust faded, they heard a faint dark chuckle. This chuckle sent a child down the girls' spines, while the two demons, Dragon Slayer, Celestial Spirit, and Ice-Make Wizard glared at the dust.
Nelo Angelo struggled a bit out of the cloud with his armor covered in scratches as the attack did indeed hurt him, but not enough as he was laughing.
"Yes. Excellent! This is what I've been missing!" Nelo Angelo chuckled.
"What the hell? This guy is laughing!?" Grey questioned.
"He's enjoying this." Modeus commented with a glare.
"Indeed I am." Nelo Angelo replied. "I've spent these last few years hunting powerless prey in the form of the guilds here in Edolas. But killing the helpless quickly grows old." This earned a glare from pretty much everyone present. "But now that I have the chance to face superior opponents, I can finally have a real challenge!"
"You want a challenge, bub?! You got it!" Natsu exclaimed.
Before anyone else could do anything; a massive shadow loomed over the entire group. They all looked a bit behind them to see the massive Viking boat ride hurtling towards them. The Fairy Tail members looked in shock before the entire ride crashed onto the ground. As it scrapped along the side, Nelo Angelo had jumped out of the way.
He managed to land safely a distance away from the crash and looked to see Hughes holding a glowing wand in his hand, which allowed him to control that ride.
"I do appreciate the assistance Hughes, but it was rather unnecessary."
"I was aiming at you asshole!" Hughes exclaimed in anger at the Black Angel.
Nelo Angelo looked unphased, but soon realized that the entire floor underneath his feet looked as though it had become liquid. He glanced behind to see Sugarboy holding an odd sword with a rose at the handle, touching the ground.
"This is the price for your betrayal, Nelo Angelo!" Sugarboy stated with a glare.
As the liquid floor almost formed an encompassing wave from all sides around Nelo Angelo; the armored demon thrusted his sword down into the liquid floor. This shot his dark lighting through the entire floor; stopping Sugarboy's attack, and forcing them both to leap to safety.
Nelo Angelo also leaped into the air as he landed on the side of the volcano attraction that had the word 'E-Land' on it.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am sensing some hostility here."
"How could you have betrayed us?! Betrayed our king?!" Sugarboy questioned to him.
"Faust is your king, not mine." Nelo Angelo replied. "The day I take orders from a madman with a god complex, is the day a demon suddenly becomes an angel."
"Well you're about see what happens with those who cross our King, traitor!" Hughes angrily stated as he readied his wand.
"That's always been the problem with Edolas wizards, especially with those in the Royal Army. You constantly overestimate your own powers, while also gravely underestimating those of Earthland." Nelo Angelo pointed to the rubble of the Viking ship.
Hughes and Sugarboy looked in surprise to see a massive vertical red line slice out throughout the debris; causing it to explode. As the two Edolas Captains covered their eyes they looked past the dust to see Dante holding his sword, and behind him, Grey had shielded Natsu, Modeus, Lucy, and Lisanna with his own ice-shield. Sagittarius had previously been hit and sent back to the Spirit World.
"What the hell…?" Hughes breathed. "That guy sliced through the entire ship?! And where did all that ice come from?!"
Dante had a cocky smirk still present on his face. "You guys are gonna have to do better than that."
Hughes was still surprised. "So these Earthland freaks use magic like Exceeds do?"
"I thought their itemless magic was nothing but rumors." Sugarboy added. "It's truly breathtaking to behold."
"I am certain you both are aware of where Nelo Angelo truly stands, correct?" Modeus questioned to the two Edolas Captains.
"So what do you say guys? Common enemy, wanna help out?" Lisanna offered.
Hughes laughed. "Team up with you? Fat chance!"
Sugarboy had his casual smile back up. "Sorry, but we still have our orders from our king. We'll just take care of you with Nelo Angelo."
"Somehow I figured it would be something like that." Grey said.
Dante looked behind to his group. "You guys handle these two chumps; I'll take care of Nelo Angelo."
"Got it." Lucy nodded with everyone as Dante jumped up to a wall of a building and leaped from there towards Nelo Angelo.
The Black Angel jumped downward from his spot and the two clashed swords yet again.
As Dante and Nelo Angelo clashed, a fire erupted under Natsu. "This chump's combusting!" Hughes stated in surprise.
"And you will to!" Natsu exclaimed as he jumped up and landed a firey punch across Hughes' face. As Hughes fell back, Modeus suddenly appeared from behind and landed a roundhouse kick to Hughes; causing him to crash to the ground.
Modeus stood with a sword in each hand alongside Natsu on a blue tube suspended in the air. "Are you ready to give our friends back yet?!" Natsu angrily questioned.
Hughes got back up. "Sorry, but it's not my call. Even if it we're it would take more than that for me to give up on unlimited power."
"He who depends solely on power will soon find that power turning against him." Modeus said.
Hughes glared. "Keep your fortune cookie crap to yourself! You're friends are history!" He raised his glowing wand again.
Modeus raised an eyebrow at Hughes' actions, wondering what this wand does, but Natsu didn't seem to notice. "If you haven't learned how relentless we can be I'll just have to keep beating the lesson in!"
It appeared that they didn't seem to notice what appeared to be two roller coaster cars heading towards them on the line they we're standing in.
"Natsu! Modeus! Look out!" Lucy tried to warn but gave a slight yelp.
She, Lisanna, and Grey we're starting to sink into the ground that became almost like liquid quicksand. "Wha… what is this stuff?!" A frightened Lisanna questioned.
"I'm not sure we wanna know the answer." Grey replied as he began to sink with the girls. They didn't seem to notice Sugarboy behind them with an evil-casual smile.
Natsu and Modeus both saw the cars heading towards them. Modeus ran ahead with both swords and was able to easily cut through both cars with minimal effort.
"You'll have to do better than that." Modeus stated to Hughes.
"I can say the same to you." Hughes replied as he raised his glowing wand again. "Hell Tornado!"
"Hell what?" Natsu questioned.
Modeus looked up and saw another roller-coaster car. "Natsu look!" He and Natsu looked up to see the car actually creating and riding on its own track.
"Oh that's awesome!" Natsu exclaimed in excitement. "That coaster is making its own track as it goes, how cool is that?!"
Modeus looked questionably at Natsu's excitement, while Hughes had the same expression. "You're not supposed to be happy about it!"
The black swordsman looked down to Hughes. "I am assuming that wand of yours is controlling that particular ride?"
"Got that right pal." Hughes said with pride. "Feast your eyes on my Command Baton, which allows me to control everything in the amusement park from the roller coasters to the creepy clowns."
Natsu's fist lit on fire again. "I don't care if your wand can make a castle do the cha-cha!" Natsu punched the ride to pieces. "I smash that coaster and you're out of puppets!"
"You may wanna rethink that strategy lava-brains." Hughes advised.
"The roller coaster isn't his only puppet, Natsu." Modeus said. "If what he said is true, he controls everything in the amusement park with that wand."
"You must be the smart one." Hughes said as he continued waving his wand. "I've got a whole symphony of Hell-coasters just waiting for me to guide them to their next victim."
Both Natsu and Modeus looked in surprise to see several Hell-coasters coming at them from multiple directions.
At the same time; Dante and Nelo Angelo continued to clash. The red-coated swordsman leaped from building to building, as Nelo Angelo mirrored his actions. The two leaped towards each other multiple times, clashing their blades every time they passed each other.
They clashed in mid-air with their swords. Right as they clashed, Dante pulled out Ebony and shot it right at Nelo Angelo's face. While the armor did protect him, it still caused him pain as the demon grunted; giving Dante an opening to kick Nelo Angelo with both his feet. Dante propelled himself up onto the roof of another attraction as Nelo Angelo crashed into the one across from him.
"What's wrong? Done already?" Dante called out. "I thought you we're supposed to be some high and mighty Black Angel!"
"Do not get overconfident!" Nelo Angelo soared out at amazing speed with his dark-lightning sword. He slashed at the roof of where Dante once stood, resulting in the whole building being sliced in half.
Dante landed on a building to the right as he requipped a Devil Arm. "Agni! Rudra!" Both blades appeared in each hand as Dante leaped at Nelo Angelo. While in the air, Dante spun around as each blade lit with their respective element. Soon a twister of fire and wind formed around Dante as it soared to Nelo Angelo.
The Black Angel lifted his dark lightning blade to block the relentless slashes of wind and fire. This clash wasn't as evenly matched, as Nelo Angelo would like as he was being pushed back by the twister and across the amusement park.
Meanwhile, Natsu and Modeus continued to leap and avoid the relentless Hell-Coasters coming their way. One was able to catch Natsu with extended hands and trap him inside the car, much to his irritation.
"When I get out of this thing you'll be sorry!" Natsu yelled.
Hughes had a smile on his face. "We take the safety of our victims seriously so please keep your head and hands in the car at all times till your life has come to a complete stop."
"Natsu!" Modeus attempted to run towards him.
"Worry about yourself, pretty boy." Hughes told him as he directed at least twelve Hell-Coasters all directly towards Modeus. "Try and avoid all these!"
Modeus saw all the Hell-Coasters barring down towards them, but he didn't move. Instead he pulled back both his blades in an x-formation. The swords began to glow as he swung them forward.
"Demon Sword: Phantom Moon!" As Modeus sliced, he sent a series of crescent-moon-shaped phantom projectiles at the Hell-Coasters. All the projectiles sliced through each of the Hell-Coasters like tissue paper, much to Hughes' surprise.
"Now that that's done. I can get Natsu…" Modeus looked in surprise to find Natsu's cheeks puffed as though he we're about to puke.
"It hasn't even been a full minute! How the hell can you survive this long if the joy ride is making you hurl?!" Hughes questioned as he laughed.
Modeus looked in surprise for a bit before regaining his composure and began to run on the track to catch up to Natsu.
Meanwhile; Grey, Lucy, and Lisanna we're both sinking in the liquid floor. "We're still sinking and I can't get out!" Lisanna exclaimed.
Grey noticed Natsu's motion sickness. "Natsu isn't looking so hot either."
"What about Dante?" Lucy asked.
"I think Dante can handle himself, but we gotta get out of here!" Grey replied.
"Lucy; you and I are going to get Natsu out of the coaster." Lisanna told her as she turned to the ice-wizard. "Grey, can you handle the other guy on your own?"
Grey had a cocky smirk. "Just watch me."
"How the heck are we gonna get out of this though?" Lucy questioned.
"Leave that to me. Take Over: Animal Soul: Wings!" Lisanna's arms transformed into bird wings again. "Lucy, grab a hold of me."
Lucy nodded as she wrapped her arms around Lisanna who flapped her wings and was able to pull them both out.
Meanwhile; Modeus had leaped from the track he was running on and was able to land on the car Natsu was trapped on. "I thought you only get carsick, do all vehicles give you vertigo?"
"Just get me… outta here!" Natsu gurgled as Modeus attempted to pry the arms off.
"Oh no, we won't be having any of that!" Hughes said as he increased the Hell-Coaster's speed; forcing Modeus down as he could only hold onto the car without falling off.
"Why don't you two hold onto that death-ride as I direct it to the other bastard into the room!" Hughes pointed his wand to the other clash that was going on.
Dante thrusted Agni and Rudra forward; creating an x-shaped arc of fire and wind that shot towards Nelo Angelo, who mimicked his action with an arch of dark lighting from his sword as both arcs clashed in a flashy explosion.
Lisanna still carried Lucy with her bird-wings and they both saw the Hell-Coaster heading towards their friend. "Dante look out!" Lucy called.
Dante heard Lucy call his name and saw the incoming Hell-Coaster. He was able to jump and avoid it, but it was actually aimed directly at Nelo Angelo. Both demon swordsmen landed on a track as Hughes turned the Hell-Coaster that contained both Natsu and Modeus and had it aim towards them.
Nelo Angelo chuckled. "Is this the best you can do Hughes?" He was about to slice at the ride, but Dante tackled Nelo Angelo out of the way before he could. Dante's dual swords lit with fire and wind again as he thrusted downward on his face with an x-slice. The attack blasted Nelo Angelo all the way on the ground as Dante landed back on the track.
"Hang on Lucy! I'm going to fly us after them!" Lisanna told her.
"Yeah, okay!" Lucy agreed as they soared after the ride.
"Don't worry ladies, you're ride is up next." Hughes chuckled as a Hell-Coaster appeared behind them. It extended its hands as it grabbed both girls and trapped them before zooming off at fast speeds; resulting in them screaming.
Grey was meanwhile still stuck in his trap. "Alright, my turn. Ice Make: Grappling Hook!" In each of his hands launched ice-construct grappling hooks that we're able to latch onto some solid matter, pulling Grey out of the trap he was stuck in.
Sugarboy noticed. "Hmm, if you could have pulled off something like that on your own, couldn't you have helped free the Dragon Slayer or help your other friend take on that traitor Nelo Angelo?"
"I could, but then nobody would be left to rearrange your ugly mug." Grey shot back.
"You certainly are confident aren't you?" Sugarboy said with a chuckle.
Grey was in the air above Sugarboy as he prepared another spell. "Ice Make: Death Scythe!" With a scythe made of ice, Grey slashed down on Sugarboy, who blocked it with his sword. Grey however looked in surprise to see that his ice-scythe appeared to have melted into water once it made contact with Sugarboy's sword.
Sugarboy then took a stylish pose with the water attached to his sword and roses in the background. "So its all ice. Hmm yes, most impressive. Yes, Earthland magic is quite versatile."
Grey landed on the ground with frustration. "How did he warp my attack?"
"Hmmm. Behold the power of my glorious magic weapon, the Rosa Espada!" Sugarboy pointed his sword and the liquid began to movie in the direction he was pointing. "It doesn't matter what you throw at me, this sword's magic will make it as soft as the fur on an Exceed's backside."
Grey glared at the ever-confident Sugarboy
Meanwhile, Hughes continued to laugh as he spun the two Hell-Coasters containing his victims. "This is the most fun I've ever had!" His smile vanished when he saw a flash of red landing in front of him.
Dante was right in front of the surprised Hughes, who punched the latter, sending him to the wall of the building, and leaving an impression. Hughes held his chest as Dante really packed a punch. He then grabbed Hughes and lifted him up by the collar before pinning him to the wall.
"Your ride's over pal. Shut it down." Dante told him.
Hughes glared at him. "Or what?" But his glare turned into a look of fear as Dante pointed Ebony at his face.
"Or I'll blow you're brains out. How does that sound?"
A dark flash caught both their attention as they turned to the side and saw a flash of dark lighting surging right towards them. Nelo Angelo suddenly appeared in between the two, surprising them both.
He grabbed Hughes with one hand and attempted to throw him at Dante, only for him to duck as Hughes was sent flying and screaming. Hughes flew quite a distance until he came to a water dock attraction and bounced across the water before crashing into the docks.
Nelo Angelo then went on the offensive with Dante and slashed and hacked his sword at him. Dante was forced to jump back as he pulled out both his guns and opened fire. Nelo Angelo was quick to avoid the demonic-energized bullets from the guns as he swiped and sent a dark lightning arc at Dante; which he swerved to avoid.
Both Dante and Nelo Angelo ran towards the water dock attraction at equal speeds, parallel to each other, while Dante shot with both Ivory and Ebony, but Nelo Angelo was able to block each bullet with his sword.
All this time; Modeus was still pinned to the Hell-Coaster by the centripetal force, he could still see the sick Natsu trapped in it. Grunting and using his own demonic strength, he was able to pull his sword up and cut one of the arms off that pinned Natsu to the ride. As Modeus reached to pull Natsu off, he looked behind him to the sounds of two girls screaming.
Both Lisanna and Lucy we're still pinned to their ride and appeared to be on a direct collision course with him and Natsu.
"Natsu, hold on!" Modeus grabbed him and leaped off with incredible speed towards the incoming Hell-Coaster and was able to quickly slice and grab both girls and leaped down into the water below them just as the two rides collided.
The water softened their impact as they all came out. "Is everyone alright?" Modeus asked as Natsu groaned a bit due to his motion sickness began to wear off.
"I think so." Lucy grunted. "Thanks for the save."
"I never… want to ride another… roller coaster… as long as I live!" Lisanna shook as she still felt the bumps.
They both diverted their attention towards a large explosion of dark lightning from the other side of the attraction. When the light settled they looked in surprise to see it was Dante being blown back from the explosion and right towards them.
Dante was able to land on his feet but skidded a bit across the water as he used Rebellion to stabilize himself, landing right in front of them. They saw the bleeding gash on Dante's chest as he held it a bit.
Lucy immediately ran to him. "Dante, are you okay?!"
Dante was still able to give a confident smile. "I've had worse. But this freak is no push over, I'll give him that much."
"Glad to see I met your expectations."
Modeus, Dante, Lucy, and Lisanna looked to see Nelo Angelo falling and landing on the track that was directly over them as he looked down on them.
"Now this is the fight I had been looking for." He began. "The thrill, the power, oh how I've longed for something like this! Those one-sided hunts I've done all these years have been so dreadfully boring."
As they glared they heard some ruble shifting; looking behind they saw Hughes, covered in a few bruises and scratches as he got up. "You piece of…" He glared at Nelo Angelo. "I always knew you we're an asshole. But a traitor?! Just who the hell do you think you are betraying us?!"
"I wouldn't say I'm a traitor." Nelo Angelo explained. "The word 'traitor' implies I was ever on your side to begin with. My true master has his eyes set on this world, and it will fall to him. You humans and the Exceeds will all fall by our feet."
"And just what makes you think we're going to let you?!" Lucy exclaimed.
Nelo Angelo looked down as the Fairy Tail members glared at him. "You think you can toy with lives so easily, and still be expected to get away with it all?!" Modeus questioned.
"We're not going to rest until we stop you!" Lisanna declared as well.
"I'm surprised." Nelo Angelo replied. "This is not your world. If you think about, you really should be thanking me."
"'Thanking you'!?" Lucy questioned.
"Yes. The Edolas Kingdom has done nothing but cause harm to all of you, and the same is said for the Exceeds. My master will wipe them both out; so why defend Edolas? Even you yourself Dante called it a 'shit-hole'."
"Yeah I did." Dante replied, as he stood straight up. "But this world has got some good people here to." He was reminded of the Edolas versions of Lucy as well as his mother. "And I'd prefer to save them, than just to watch everyone die, not to mention you've got all my friends trapped in a giant rock. Plus I'll be damned as hell if I let Mundus win."
"You're just like your father, Dante. So righteous and mighty, but it will all be for nothing."
"Says who?!" All of them shifted their attention as Natsu stood up, his nausea having worn off. "That's the reason you took our friends away?" Natsu slowly began to walk towards the Black Angel. "To help your precious master? You're going to sacrifice all our friends and kill all the Exceeds just so you can help your boss?!"
"That is correct." Nelo Angelo confirmed. "I've wanted to bring those arrogant Exceeds down since…"
"Shut the hell up!" Natsu interrupted, much to Nelo Angelo's surprise. Natsu's hands lit on fire. "All of my friends are still alive in there." Modeus, Lisanna, and Lucy looked towards Natsu, as did Dante with a serious look. "You and these Edolas bastards have no right to take them! I don't give a crap what that freak Mundus says! You're gonna kill innocent people to get what you want?! We're talking about lives here!"
Dante had an understanding smile when he heard that. He looked towards Nelo Angelo as well. "What he said. And if we kill you right here, Mundus' plan is out the window."
Nelo Angelo had a serious expression underneath his helmet. "You're going to kill me? Well you're welcome to try, but I won't make it easy for you."
Lucy then looked down and realized that they we're standing in water. She had a confident smirk on her face. "Oh you want a fight, you monster? I'll give you a fight!" Lucy pulled out a certain key. "Everyone get out of the way!"
"Open! Gate of the Waterbearer! Aquarius!"
With a doorbell sound, the celestial spirit Aquarius appeared out of the water. Hughes and Nelo Angelo both looked in surprise.
"Now that's one hot spirit." Dante muttered to himself with a smirk.
"Do you're thing!" Lucy ordered her spirit as Aquarius prepared her urn for an attack.
"Yeah I know!" She began to draw as much water as she could into her urn, but Hughes pulled out his Command Baton again and what came next came as a surprise for most of the group.
All the water in the area began to bend and turn as multiple water sprouts began to surround the entire group, including Nelo Angelo.
"What the…?!" Dante questioned as the Fairy Tail wizards looked in surprise, even Aquarius.
"The water?"
"What in the world are you stalling for?!" Lucy questioned.
Aquarius' expression was one of uncharacteristic shock. "The water, I can't control it!"
"What?!" Modeus questioned.
Hughes began to chuckle evilly. "Haven't you all been listening? There's nothing in this amusement park I can't use as a weapon to utterly destroy you all!" He looked up at Nelo Angelo. "You think you're so high and mighty don't you, Mr. Black Angel?! I don't care who this Mundus-guy is, but one thing I do care about is killing you right now!"
Nelo Angelo chuckled again. "How foolish. One thing that amuses me of Edolas wizards is their arrogance. You get even a tiny bit of magic and all of a sudden you think the world bows to your whim. That right is reserved solely for the Demon King!"
As they continued to banter; Modeus looked towards the son of Sparda. "Dante, you must defeat Nelo Angelo. As you said before, if we defeat him right here, we will end Mundus' threat to Edolas."
"What about you guys?" Dante asked.
"Do not worry, we can handle Hughes." Modeus assured. "But Nelo Angelo must be stopped now!"
"Consider it done." Dante replied.
Hughes thrusted his Command Baton forward; sending all the waterspouts right towards the group.
"Lucy you idiot! Get out of the way!" Aquarius exclaimed; right as Dante jumped in the air with Rebellion in his hands and he clashed with Nelo Angelo once more.
Elsewhere
Meanwhile, on a balcony of the castle stood King Faust as he looked up towards the sky. His subordinate Byro gave a laugh as he reported to the King.
"You're majesty, I bring you the happiest of reports. Just give the word and Code: ETD will enter its final stage."
Faust looked up towards the floating island of Extalia with a mad look as he opened up his arms. "Meet your end, you false gods."
Inside the Castle
Byro laughed as he explained everything to Faust. "The magic power I extracted from the Dragon Slayers was more than we hoped. With it, you should be able to latch onto and control any floating island as you see fit."
Byro reported to this to Faust as the two faced a massive invention that Byro had finished completing. "I'd dare say its obvious which island we should choose: the one where our glorious lacrima is perched. Just imagine it crashing into that wretched hive of feline scum. The collision will vaporize them both and the essence of the Earthlanders will fuse with that of the Exceeds. Everlasting magic power will rain down upon us!" Byro finished it with another creepy laugh.
Both King Faust and Byro we're facing a massive creation. It was a giant brown-stone-like device with the image of a dragon carved onto it; along with the stone-heads of King Faust on both sides of it. This is the Dragon Chain Cannon. It is a device designed for focusing and releasing the power of dragons, though it is currently inactive at the moment.
"Here, my Lord." Byro presented Faust with a large black key and the image of a dragon on it as well. "Take the key that will end the false gods!" This key would activate the Dragon Chain Cannon and let Faust complete his plan.
Suddenly a certain young girl quickly ran in. "You're majesty! Please wait! Don't use it yet!"
They both diverted their attention to the young girl. "Now Coco, how many times have I told you not to scamper around like a toddler when you're in the presence of our king?!" Byro exclaimed.
"Don't activate it!" Coco exclaimed. "Lily's on the Lacrima Island fighting the Earthland wizards!"
Faust's mad look hasn't vanished.
Lacrima Island
Multiple explosions ran around the island as Gajeel and Lady continued their battle against Panther-Lily.
Lady fired both her pistols towards Panther-Lily who blocked them all with his massive sword. He then slashed down at the ground she was standing on, but she was able to jump and avoid it. Lady landed on the sword itself and quickly ran on top of it right towards Panther-Lily.
Right when she got to the end she jumped and tried to deliver an axe-kick right to his head, but Lily blocked it with his arm before forcing her off and back on the island. Just as he was about to strike her again, Gajeel came in and blocked it with his right arm in the form of an iron pillar. Happy flew the Iron Dragon Slayer so he could keep up with the flying Panther-Lily.
"Big cat's got some moves, huh?" Lady guessed with an amused smile.
"Yeah impressive, for a giant fur ball." Gajeel added when facing Lily.
"So this is the type of magic Earthlanders use. Interesting." Lily observed.
"Figures I'd have to come to another world to find a challenge. Lets kick it up a notch and see who can draw the first blood." Gajeel challenged.
However it would appear that Happy was looking a bit tired. "I don't think I'll be able to carry you for very long. You're a lot heavier than Natsu, then again I haven't dropped big old Lucy yet."
"Hey Cat, you sure you should be saying that out loud, what if she heard ya?" Lady called to Happy in a joking sense.
"Sorry Lucy! Just kidding!" Happy called out with wide eyes, thinking if Lucy did hear him.
"Let me down." Gajeel said to Happy as Lily's sword began to shrink.
"Doesn't feel right having Salamander's cat haul me around." Gajeel said as Happy began to lower him. "Till I can find my own flying cat I'll skip on the areal brawl and work my magic on good old dirt."
"Whatever you say." Happy said as he lowered Gajeel towards Lady.
"This overgrown hairball with wings certainly isn't playing around, is he?" Lady mused with a cocky smirk. "Its about time I'm given a real challenge."
Lily's sword began to glow. "Magic power transmission complete. Bustermarm Redeploy!" Lily's sword grew to where it was about four times his own size.
"Did that thing just get bigger?" Lady questioned.
Gajeel still had a smirk on his face. "Yeah you gotta give the guy props for carrying that giant thing everywhere. It's even bigger than Dante's."
"No kidding." Happy agreed. Suddenly it seemed Happy was wearing a professor's suit as he compared the sizes of Rebellion and Bustermarm on a chalkboard. "If my calculations are correct; than Bustermarm is four Rebellions long."
"No one cares about that they just want to see a fight!" Gajeel comically yelled while simultaneously breaking the fourth wall.
Lily slashed his sword on the ground forcing the three to scatter to avoid getting demolished.
"You must be quite confident to start playing games in the middle of a battle!" Lily stated with an amused smile.
Happy saw a massive chunk of the island fall off from the slice. "He did that with one clean strike!"
"So not only is that thing freakishly huge but the guy behind it knows what he's doing with it." Gajeel observed with a tone that indicated he was actually impressed.
"I'd like to see him handle this!" Lady took out her rocket launcher and launched three rockets right at him.
Lily glared down at this as he actually flew towards them with his sword pointing outward and the bladed-end facing the incoming rockets. He flew past all three as they we're sliced in half horizontally. They fell a bit before they exploded. Lady raised an eyebrow.
"Okay… not bad." She observed
"When Bustermarm and I are through with both of you, you'll be nothing but stains of rust on its gleaming cross guard!" Lily declared.
"Stain of rust? Come on, I've been called way worse than that." Lady stated.
"Well I'm cool with it." Gajeel said with a cocky grin. "A stain of rust is like a badge of honor to me."
"If you wanna talk battle, Gajeel and Lady are definitely the right guys for the job!" Happy commented.
They glared for a few seconds before Lily spoke. "Ready?"
"Whenever you are." Lady challenged.
"Come on!" Gajeel challenged as well.
Lily yelled as he flew forward while Lady and Gajeel both smirked as they clashed an Iron-Club and her bladed-rocket-launcher with his massive sword.
Dragon Chain Cannon Chamber
Coco still faced King Faust and Byro hopping they'll listen to her. "If you execute Code: ETD's Final Stage right now, you'll execute Lily to!" Coco however gasped when she saw the dark look on the King's face.
"Why should that mater to me?"
Coco could not believe the words that came out of his mouth. "But… he's one of our comrades."
Byro was with the King on this one. "Come now, sacrifices for the greater good are to be expected in times of war."
"It's not fair!" Coco exclaimed. "I don't want Lily to be a sacrifice because he's my friend!"
"We cannot afford to risk our entire kingdom for the sake of some hasbeen Exceed wretch!" Byro argued.
"Why are you being so mean?!" Coco took the key out of Byro's hands and immediately began to run away with it. "I wont let you do this!"
Byro's eyes almost comically popped out of their sockets. "Wait! Come back here now!"
Faust's face was evident with rage as his staff surged with lightning. "COCO!" He thrusted his staff forward and shot a bolt of lightning at her feet, causing her to stop and fall to the ground.
"You've loved to run since the first moment you could stand, haven't you child?" Faust began as he looked towards Coco as she was in pain. "And much like a father, I've always enjoyed watched you sprint about with care-free enthusiasm." His staff surged with lightning again as he zapped her feet once more.
Coco cried out in pain as her feet we're electrocuted. Even Byro had to wince at this, but Faust's mad look was ever present. "But if you don't hand over that key…!"
Coco pushed herself up and looked in complete and utter shock at her King who had just caused her a great deal of pain, both physically and in the heart. She whimpered as she pushed herself up and continued to run with the large key in her hand.
"COCO!" Faust turned to his subordinate. "Byro, capture her! Do whatever it takes!"
"Yes! Right away!"
Coco ran through the hallways with the key, but every step that she took caused her a great deal of pain in her feet.
"It hurts… so much!" Coco thought as tears streamed down her eyes. "Running has never brought me pain before! Why you're majesty!? I want everlasting magic power just like you do! But I don't want Lily to die just so I can have it! What do I do?!"
Coco thought all this as she continued to run down the halls.
E-Land; Monster Academy
Modeus and Natsu both woke up in an odd room. It had the appearance of a large classroom with gothic elements to it. There we're large statues of various monsters wearing school uniforms; vampires, werewolves, Cyclopes, snakes, a medusa, and other various monsters.
The Fire Dragon Slayer and black swordsman woke up in the open palms of a Frankenstein monster statue. Modeus helped Natsu who coughed up the water.
"What the… where are we?" Natsu asked. "Where's Dante?"
"Dante went to face Nelo Angelo." Modeus answered as he looked around the room. "As for where we are, it appears to be some form of class room. This is possibly one of the attractions of the amusement park."
"A real messed up park." Natsu said before he realized something in a comic panic. "Lisanna! Lucy! Where are they!?"
Modeus looked around. "I don't know! They're not with us!"
"Come on guys! You're not dead are you!? Yell if you're dead!" Natsu exclaimed in comic panic.
They both heard a pounding and looked down to see a large coffin. "Natsu!? Modeus!? Is that you!?" Lucy's voice was heard.
"Help us! We're trapped in this thing!" Lisanna also called as she was trapped inside to.
Both leaped onto the ground facing the coffin. "How'd you two end up in there?" Natsu questioned.
"How should we know?! We woke up in here!" Lucy angrily yelled from inside.
"It's so dark and I can't breath! Open up!"" Lisanna yelled from inside as well.
"Okay, both of you calm down, we're getting you out." Modeus eased as he found the latch and opened up the coffin.
Once it opened however; Modeus could only look with wide eyes and his jaw left open while Natsu's look couldn't be described with words except for his blushing cheeks.
"What's with the freak show expressions?" Lucy questioned.
"Well it's… you… you're clothes…. How did… why…?" Modeus attempted to answer but couldn't find the words to say it.
"Why are you guys wearing genie outfits?!" Natsu questioned.
Lucy and Lisanna we're both in fact wearing the same outfits that resembled that of female genies. They we're practically half-naked with red clothes covering their more private areas with see-through purple coats and purple hats. Both girls looked down; Lucy gasped with wide eyes while Lisanna also gasped but tried to cover her body as her face turned red.
"Who put us in these?!" Lisanna questioned.
Modeus found a label on the side of the coffin and began to read it aloud for the whole group. "'The Complete Actor's Transformation Box. Come with us and enjoy the land of fairy tales with fun and exciting transformations that everyone will enjoy.'"
"Fun and exciting huh?" Lucy questioned, clearly not having any fun at all.
"Anything there on how to change us back into our normal clothes?" Lisanna questioned as well.
Natsu spotted a tiny nob on the side. "I think this dial on the side controls the costume changes."
"I don't think we have time for this though." Modeus advised.
"Well I am not fighting in this!" Lucy angrily stated.
"I don't feel comfortable like this either." Lisanna agreed.
"Well ladies go on in." Natsu said as both girls got into the coffin. Natsu turned back to Modeus. "I'm only turning one little nob, this won't even take a minute."
"I have a bad feeling about this." Modeus said as Natsu turned the dial. The coffin began to glow.
While it did change the outfits for the two girls, it wasn't what either one was looking for. With each dial turn they ended up wearing bunny girl suits, skin-tight devil suits, Chinese dresses, even bathing suits with pool rings. Both we're starting to get really annoyed with this.
Modeus could only look in surprise while Natsu was laughing. "I fail to see the humor in any of this." Modeus commented.
"NATSU!" Lucy and Lisanna angrily yelled to Natsu with red eyes and sharp teeth, causing him to stop laughing instantly.
"Come out, come out wherever you are! Earthland trash!" Hughes' voice was heard from the other side of the door.
Natsu got serious and turned to the door. "He found us."
"So what now?" Modeus questioned. "That weapon of his lets him control everything in the amusement park. This attraction could be death-trap just waiting to happen."
"Okay, so anything that can help us!?" Lucy questioned.
Natsu began to think and looked slowly towards Lucy and Lisanna, still with bathing suits and pool-rings. Modeus was confused on what Natsu was thinking while the girls looked a bit more nervous, though Lisanna was also blushing with Natsu looking at her.
"Uh Natsu… why are you looking at us like that?" She asked.
A light bulb popped up over Natsu's head as he had a mischievous grin. "I just figured out how we're gonna beat this guy."
Five minutes later
Hughes walked into the classroom and looked around for a bit. "They must be weaker than I thought if I made them fly this far away, or they're setting up some lame ambush. Either way I'm not wasting another second looking for…"
"Hey…" a seductive voice called out. Hughes looked up to the large teacher's desk and on top of it where two very attractive girls in very attractive outfits.
Lucy and Lisanna both sat wearing similar outfits. Lucy's was like an aqua green two-piece swim suit with a green dress; while Lisanna had a similar one that was light blue. They both sat back-to-back in seductive poses and hung out their long legs.
"What's up stud muffin?" Lucy giggled. "You look tired."
"How about you come up here and we help you to relax a bit, tough guy." Lisanna proposed with a finger wave to come up.
Both giggled and winked with smiles as Hughes looked at them for a few seconds. He raised his command baton again. All the monster's eyes glowed red before they suddenly sprung to life and roared at the girls.
"THAT WAS SO NOT WHAT WE WE'RE GOING FOR!" Lucy comically yelled.
"I KNEW THIS WAS A BAD IDEA!" Lisanna comically screamed as well.
Natsu and Modeus came out of their hiding spots with surprised expressions. "I had my doubts, but was not expecting this reaction."
"MAN! I THOUGHT AT LEAST THE MONSTERS WOULD THINK YOU TWO WE'RE CUTE!" Natsu exclaimed in frustration.
All the monsters then began to chase Lucy and Lisanna. "I CAN'T BELEVIE YOU TALKED US INTO THIS!" Lucy screamed.
"WHAT'S WITH THE MONSTERS IN SCHOOL UNIFORMS ANYWAY!?" Lisanna screamed as well as the monsters began to comically chase them.
Hughes had a smile of enjoyment on his face. "These are the students of the Monster Academy. In this attraction you get a peek into the school life of every demon, goblin, and blood-sucker that's ever lived."
The monsters still continued to chase the two girls. "WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!" Lucy screamed.
"YOU COULD AT LEAST LET US CHANGE BACK INTO OUR NORMAL CLOTHES!" Lisanna screamed as well.
"What are you two doing?!" Natsu questioned.
"RUNNING FOR OUR LIVES! HELP US!" Lisanna scrammed.
Natsu hung his head down as he grabbed it with his hands. "No, no that is the complete opposite of cuteness!"
"Well excuse us!" Lucy angrily exclaimed with an anger anime mark as the monsters chased the girls through the halls.
"How in the world did you ever think this would be a good idea?!" Modeus questioned towards Natsu.
"Dante told me the monsters always go for the damsel-in-distress-gig!" Natsu frustratingly said.
A chuckle from Hughes caught both their attention. "Well, we have no choice but to fight I suppose." Modeus stated.
"Yeah, gotta settle this the old fashioned way." Natsu agreed as they faced Hughes.
"You two wanna throw down with me inside my monster academy?!" Hughes questioned in sadistic jubilee. "If you idiots are that eager to take your final breath I'll be happy to oblige."
"I warn you not to underestimate us." Modeus advised.
"Underestimating Fairy Tail is a huge mistake pal!" Natsu said with a cocky grin.
Hughes raised his baton again. "Mummy Bandage!" A mummy-monster came to life as it sent its bandages outward and they ensnared both Natsu and Modeus.
"Every monster in this academy is like a perfect soldier that will follow any order I give me. Pretty sweet huh?" Hughes said.
"You attack us with puppets? That is a mistake!" Modeus' right hand shot open as his black sword burst from the ground and he cut the bandages from him. Natsu followed similarly as he roared and fire erupted from his body, burning off the bandages and setting the mummy on fire as well.
"What?" Hughes questioned. "His entire body is… on fire?!"
Natsu nailed him with a flaming kick to the face. "That's right bub! Fire Dragon Talon!"
As Hughes was sent flying he aimed his baton at the biggest monster in his arsenal. "Frankein-Knuckle!"
The massive Frankenstein monster punched Natsu into the ground and began to punch him repeatedly into the ground further.
"Natsu!" Modeus exclaimed and attempted to rush to his aid, but Hughes stepped in front of him.
"Worry about yourself!" Hughes aimed his baton again. "Werewolf Slash!"
Modeus turned around and avoided a slash from a large werewolf monster in a school uniform. Modeus slid back before he rushed forward and clashed his sword against the werewolf's claws. The werewolf slashed relentlessly at Modeus, but he quickly grew tired of this.
Modeus jumped back as his sword began to glow white. He rushed at the werewolf in blinding speed. "Demon Sword: Residual Moon!"
The black demon swordsman slid past the werewolf monster. A brief second and a white crescent moon-shaped cut appeared on the monster's chest as it was cut in half; much to Hughes' shock. The shock became even greater when he saw the Frankenstein's monster's punch blocked by Natsu.
Despite the monster being much larger than Natsu, the Dragon Slayer's strength was far superior as he pushed it up into the air and it toppled down on what was left of the werewolf.
Hughes couldn't believe what he just saw. "They took down Frank and my werewolf?!"
Modeus and Natsu both stood together. The latter's face covered in shadows with glowing yellow eyes. Modeus pointed his sword towards Hughes. "This will be you're only warning: Surrender!"
"Never!" Hughes exclaimed as he wielded his wand again. "Come to me now monster army! Defend you're master with your lives!"
Monster Academy Hallways
Lisanna and Lucy we're still being chased by the monsters, with Lucy screaming the whole way. Lisanna looked behind a bit and saw the monsters stopped chasing them and began to turn around and walk the other way.
"That's weird." Lisanna observed. "Hey Lucy they're not…" She looked a bit in surprise to see that Lucy was still running and screaming down the hall, causing Lisanna to sweatdrop.
Monster Academy Classroom
All the monsters stood behind Hughes as he confidentially laughed; facing both Modeus and Natsu. Modeus held his sword with a determined look while Natsu's face was still covered in shadows.
Hughes pointed his wand to them. "Lets see how you two fair when the entire student body wants you in a coffin!" The monsters then slowly began to approach the duo.
Modeus wouldn't back down, but he wouldn't have to either. "My turn." Natsu said in a tone that caught Modeus' attention and sent a chill down Hughes' spine.
Natsu's entire body suddenly lit on fire. Modeus was slightly taken aback by this. The monsters quickly backed up as well while Hughes could only look in wide-eyed disbelief.
As the fires raged around Natsu, Modeus could tell there was something eerily familiar about them. He didn't know what, but he knew he'd felt the heat of these flames before. Natsu's breathing began to slightly change as it sounded more animal-like.
Hughes looked to his monsters. "Why are you standing around!? Destroy them! Right now!" He ordered. The monsters however only backed up even more; they could only look in fear at the Dragon Slayer as his flames began to increase. Hughes saw this as well and became even more shocked. "What?"
Modeus backed away slightly and looked into the flames as he heard a familiar growl. "No… it couldn't be."
The growl was even heard by Hughes as he saw a pair of eyes in the flames. Hughes' pupils shrunk and began to shake as a certain emotion began to fill his body: fear.
"It is… Igneel!" Modeus thought as he saw the Fire Dragon King's image appear above Natsu. Hughes saw this as well and terror instantly filled his body.
"I'M FREAKING OUT HERE!" Hughes screamed as he dropped his wand and it looked as though he we're about to piss his pants. Natsu looked at him with a fierce glare that could break the spirit of even a wild wolf. "A REAL MONSTER!"
Modeus however could only smile as he decided to simply step back and let Natsu handle this.
Outside in E-Land
Lucy continued to run out of the monster academy, screaming, thinking the monsters we're still behind her. "NO! STUPID MONSTER STUDENTS LEAVE ME ALONE AND GO BACK TO YOUR AWKARD LIFE OF HOMEWORK AND BOYFRIENDS!"
Lisanna managed to catch up to Lucy and put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. "Lucy! Stop! It's okay, they stopped chasing us!"
Lucy turned around and saw there was no one behind them, Lisanna was right. "That's weird, where did they go?"
Lisanna smiled. "Maybe we just got lucky."
Lucy breathed a sigh of relief. "Finally, I can catch a break."
Not even a full second after she said that; both we're accidentally knocked over as a certain young girl ran into both of them and all three fell to the ground.
"Man that hurt." Lucy rubbed her head.
Lisanna looked to the girl, Coco, and saw her burnt feet. "Hey, are you okay? What happened?" she asked with concern.
"Help me, I can't run anymore." Coco said in pain with closed eyes as she continued to hold the black key.
"Coco! Come back here!" Lucy and Lisanna both say Byro running towards them.
"You have to help me, please!" Coco begged on the floor, getting the girls' attention. "Take this." She tried to hand them the black key, but looked in shock at seeing their faces.
"Wait a minute, they're some of the Earthland wizards that we captured." Coco held the key close to her. "This is bad. I can't give it to them, what should I do?"
Byro caught up to them. "I should warn you just one more time. Hand over the key or you'll regret it!"
"Key?" Lisanna questioned as she looked down at what the girl was holding. "It looks like a key, but it's pretty big." She gasped when she saw the dragon symbol on it. "A dragon? Could it be part of the King's plan with the lacrima?!"
"What's going on?!" Lucy questioned.
Lisanna stood up. "Lucy, I think this key is connected to the King's plan." She looked to the old man. "And I think he might be in on it."
Byro looked towards the two girls in mild confusion. Lucy stepped in front of the downed Coco. "I'm not sure what's going on, but you're not gonna lay a finger on this girl!"
Coco looked confused. "Wait, they're going to help me?"
Lisanna stood with Lucy in front of Coco, taking combat stances as they faced Byro. "Don't worry, I promise we won't let him hurt you." Lisanna declared as they faced their new enemy.
Elsewhere in E-Land; the massive volcano attraction erupted with a series of clashes and booms all around it. Dante and Nelo Angelo continued to slash and hack at each other with their swords as they ascended up the artificial mountain.
A red blur and a dark electric blur continuously slashed passed each other before they finally met at the top of the artificial volcano and faced each other. Nelo Angelo's armor was covered in cracks and scratches with his cape being torn. Dante was also cut up a bit as he was bleeding across his chest, a bit on his arms, and even a trickle down his face.
Nelo Angelo still continued to laugh. "Of all the opponents I have faced, you Dante are the strongest I have ever encountered. You are indeed the Son of Sparda!"
Dante grinned as well. "You seem pretty cocky for a freak that's about to die."
Nelo Angelo chuckled again. "Did you forget of where I came from and how I came to be? Our continuous fight has not shown any sign of stopping; we can go on for years if we could. You and I are the same. We are just too evenly matched!"
This time, it was Dante's turn to laugh slightly; confusing Nelo Angelo. "You and me? The same? That's a joke." Dante turned serious. "I know what you are: you're just a cheap knock off. You may have been created from me, my bro, and my old man; but you don't know how to fight like us."
Nelo Angelo glared from inside his helmet.
"You think you're just like me?" Dante questioned. "No, you are nothing like me. You say we're evenly matched? Let me show you just how wrong you are."
Dante's eyes closed as a red aura formed around him. A red wind picked up around his body, forcing Nelo Angelo to shield his face slightly as he could feel the air stinging. The red wind and aura completely engulfed Dante as the red glow began to glow even brighter until a large red flash was seen from on top of the volcano. When it was cleared, Nelo Angelo could only look in disbelief at what he saw.
Dante's entire bod was red and black with his silver head, red eyes, and black wings. Rebellion was also completely black as well. Dante had transformed into his Devil Trigger.

Wow that was fun. I enjoyed writing this chapter, and I hope you all enjoy reading it. Once again, thank you for your patience. I'm sure you noticed that I have given Modeus some of my own original abilities, only because we saw him in one episode in the cannon DMC anime and we didn't really see him fight. So anyway, I made up a few moves for him and they're all based on the moon: he just really seems like a moon-type-of-guy.
The Battle continues as Natsu and Modeus deal with Hughes; Lisanna and Lucy defend Coco and the key from Byro; Grey faces off with Sugarboy; Lady, Gajeel, and Happy fight Panther-Lily on the Lacrima Island; Trish, Wendy, and Carla have gone to Extalia to warn the Exceeds; Erza Scarlet continues to clash against her counterpart Erza Knightwalker; and now Dante has unleashed his Devil Trigger and is ready to put Nelo Angelo in his place once and for all.
