Hey everyone. Sorry for the wait, I had a small case of writer's block that I an now over. So now we continue the battle in E-Land over the fate of the Fairy Tail guild in Earthland and the entire Edolas world. What will happen in this battle? Let us find out.

Clash in E-Land Part 2

The massive cat-shaped Lacrima created from the Exceeds when Edolas Royal Army soldiers initiated Code: ETD was being strung up and guarded by several dozen soldiers in the royal courtyard.

One individual, the Edolas Gajeel, hid behind a pillar in the corner as he began to observe and take note of the situation, literally writing in his note pad.

"The Exceed's Total Destruction, Code: ETD for short; a plan to liberate themselves from these so-called angels. I was afraid that it would come to this someday. For now, I'll try to pass the word along."

E-Land

"Great people of Edolas, hello and welcome to E-Land!" A female voice recording began to announce. "We hope you'll have the time of your lives here today! Whether you've dared to ride the death-defying Hell-Coaster or brave enough to enter the Monster Academy, we know you're stay here will be an unforgettable experience! King Faust designed this park to thrill you and to showcase what unlimited magic can do."

In the middle of this so-called amusement park, Lucy and Lisanna stood protectively in front of the injured Coco who still held the black key to the Dragon Chain Cannon, while facing a less than pleased Byro.

"You're some of those meddling wizards from Earthland aren't you?" Byro assumed. "What is the meaning of this, and what happened to Hughes, Sugarboy, and Nelo Angelo?!"

Lucy and Lisanna meanwhile we're whispering few things to themselves. "I know Dante, Natsu, and the others can handle themselves, but this girl needs our help." Lucy said.

"You're right, she looks hurt." Lisanna agreed. "But what's with that giant key? I'm guessing from the dragon on it, it may have something to do with the King's plan for the lacrima."

"Yeah, but what exactly?" Lucy wondered.

Byro glared at the two girls. "I demand that you hand over the key immediately." He finished with a snicker.

This snicker somehow caused Lucy's spine to shiver. "Oh man I've met a lot of creeps in my day but this guy takes the cake."

Lisanna stood protectively in front of Coco. "You want this girl creep, you go through us first!"

"Got that right!" Lucy exclaimed as she took out one of her keys and Lisanna assumed a battle stance.

Coco just looked confused at the older girls. "Why? Why are they helping me?"

Meanwhile, on top of the massive volcano attraction in the amusement park, Dante had assumed his Devil Trigger and faced Nelo Angelo on the other side of the mouth of the artificial volcano.

Nelo Angelo backed away slightly at the eerie red aura around Dante. "Oh, don't me you're getting cold feet." Dante spoke in his demonic voice. "Come on, this party is really getting ramped up."

Before Nelo Angelo could even respond Dante had already zoomed in front of him, in the form of a red blur, and landed a punch in the armored demon's gut; causing him to yell in pain. With Dante's strength greatly enhanced, that one punch sent the Black Angel flying high into the air.

Dante extended his wings before zooming at incredible speeds to meet his enemy in the air. Dante appeared behind the soaring Black Angel and struck down with his black Rebellion. Nelo Angelo was able to block it, but Dante pushed down to let both gravity and his own power soar down like a red meteor right into the volcano attraction causing an explosion at the top as Dante continued to push Nelo Angelo down deeper.

While inside the artificial volcano the Devil Trigger Dante grabbed Nelo Angelo's face with one claw and he flew along the inside, dragging his enemy all across the inner surface of the attraction, leaving a long crater as he went. Outside one could see a horizontal line of dust and destruction form around the volcano, forming a complete circle. Inside, Dante pulled Nelo Angelo out before kicking him and sending him to the other side.

Nelo Angelo blew through the volcano as he flew and crashed into a few attractions in E-Land before finally crashing in one carnival game.

The Black Angel struggled to get up as he climbed out. He felt along his mask, as there was a large crack. It cracked to the point where it completely shattered and revealed his dark face, strongly resembling that of Dante and Vergil and his glowing red eyes.

Dante suddenly appeared directly in front of Nelo Angelo. "I'm not going to lie, that felt good." For the first time, a look of anger appeared on the Black Angel's face. This caused the demonic Dante to smirk even more. "What's the mater? Don't tell me you're done already."

"Not even close!" Nelo Angelo exclaimed as he held his sword up high and channeled a large surge of dark lightning, which began to surge all throughout his body. It tore through what was left of the stand he was in as dust picked up and a wind blew past the unfazed Dante.

"Nice fireworks, Angelo." Dante made a 'come here' gesture with is right claw. "Come on, let's rock!"

Lacrima Island

Panther-Lily yelled as he flew downward with his massive sword. "Take this!" He swung Bustermarm hard on the island; Lady rolled out of the way to avoid it as Gajeel jumped and pulled Happy with him.

Lady was the first to stand up as she once again fired rockets at Lily, which he flew around at quick speeds to avoid. He flew quickly down towards her with a horizontal swing, which Lady limboed under to avoid. Once the swing was done she quickly ran to try and impale him with her blade at the end of her rocket, but he quickly pulled back his massive sword to block it.

Lily was able to give a roundhouse kick to knock her back to the lacrima. Gajeel ran in front of Lady, while still carrying a screaming Happy in his right hand.

"Iron Dragon Spear: Demon Wall!" Gajeel's left hand turned into a spear as he shot out multiple green energy lances at machine-gun pace. Lily responded by placing his sword in front of him to block the attack like a shield.

"He's good, I'll give him that much." Lady admitted as she stood up.

"This guy's definitely got us on the ropes!" Happy exclaimed. "I hope you guys have a plan to turn this around!"

Gajeel smirked. "Yeah; he, he. I'm just having a little fun with him first."

Lily suddenly appeared above them with Bustermarm at the ready. "You'd be wise to take this seriously."

Gajeel got serious as he turned his arm into an iron-pillar to block Lily's sword strike and throwing Happy back, causing him to slam flat against the lacrima surface. As Gajeel held the sword back, Lady came up next to him with a pistol and opened fire.

A few bullets grazed Lily's face a bit forcing him to fly up. "Not bad." Lily told Lady. "But I warn you, take me lightly and it'll be your last mistake."

"Whoever said we we're taking you lightly?" Lady questioned amusingly.

"Yeah we're taking this seriously, just enjoying fighting a real opponent for once." Gajeel added.

Happy was comically angry at being thrown. "Did you really have to throw me like that?! I'm just not some ragdoll that you can toss around you know!"

Gajeel glanced back with a pair of scary eyes. "I just saved your lousy hide and you're gonna complain about it?! Don't test me cat! I make have to take you out before the big guy here, so watch you're mouth!"

Happy was comically scared. "Man I swear, I have the scariest friends sometimes."

Lady still smirked towards Lily. "What do you say we cut all the games, lets kick this into overdrive."

Lily accepted the challenge. "Give me everything you got filthy Earthlanders!"

"Careful what you wish for." Lady teasingly warned as she spun her rocket launcher with one hand before showing off the shiny blade at the end.

Happy still looked worried. "After seeing what we've run into, not to mention Nelo Angelo, I'm way more worried about everybody else."

E-Land

Speaking of Nelo Angelo, he was having a much more difficult time facing the newly transformed Dante has his Devil Trigger form increased both his speed and strength exponentially.

Dante slashed his black rebellion relentlessly at Nelo Angelo, who was able to block a few of the attacks with his own sword, but several did end up hitting the Nelo Angelo causing multiple cracks and chips to appear across his armor. Dante pulled his sword back like a baseball bat before swinging it forward, sending a massive wave of red demonic energy to hit Nelo Angelo and send him flying multiple yards, through a few attractions, and crashing into another one before stopping in a cloud of dust.

"And he's outta here!" Dante cracked like he hit a home run. "That's Dante's twentieth home run this season!"

"Dante!"

He heard Nelo Angelo's growling and anger-filled voice causing Dante to look disappointed. "May have to call it a ground-rule-double."

Nelo Angelo flew out right towards Dante, leaving a surge of dark lighting behind him as he pulled back his sword, surging more with dark lightning as he brought it at Dante, who blocked it with his black rebellion, surging with red energy. As the two locked their blades, Dante was surrounded in a backlash of red demonic energy while Nelo Angelo was similarly surrounded in a backlash of his dark lightning. The two glared daggers at each other as they each continued to struggle against the other.

Elsewhere in E-Land.

Lucy had taken out one of her keys. "Open! Gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus!"

Byro looked in absolute shock at the golden light as the celestial spirit Taurus emerged from the ground. The humanoid cow turned around to face Lucy and Lisanna with hearts in his eyes.

"You and your friend got nice outfits Ms. Lucy, I gotta say I approve!" Taurus complemented upon seeing the girls' outfits.

Lucy and Lisanna both sweat dropped as lines appeared on their heads. "What the… does he always say that stuff to you?!" Lisanna questioned.

"Yeah he does, and I don't like it." Lucy replied.

"What in blazes is that?!" Byro questioned. "A magic cow!?"

Coco meanwhile looked in amazement. "The magic from Earthland is incredible! But… he seems a little naughty."

Taurus turned to face the enemy. "If I do this for you will you finally give me that smooch?"

"Make him see stars and I promise to at least think about it. Now move!" Lucy ordered.

Taurus leaped in the air with his axe. "Stars coming right up!" As he brought his axe down on the ground, it caused a tremor that knocked Byro down.

"Nice one Taurus!" Lucy congratulated.

"Well this ain't my first rodeo!" Taurus responded.

"My turn!" Lisanna ran towards Byro as she began to glow. "Take Over: Animal Soul: Cat!" Byro looked in further shock as Lisanna's appearance had changed; she wore a two-piece blue and black-striped bikini with tiger-like claws and feet, and cat-like ears on her head.

Lisanna slashed multiple times at Byro forcing him to jump back as he held a claw on his face.

"Nice, you go girl!" Lucy cheered.

"Thanks, I try my best." Lisanna replied with a smile.

Byro's face was one of frustration and confusion. "So the blonde girl can make this creature appear out of thin air, while the other one can change her appearance to resemble animals. How is this possible?!"

Taurus leaped in the air at Byro. "Now, lights out!"

"Lights on!" Byro threw a vile of orange liquid out. "Flame Liquid!" The orange liquid hit Taurus and instantly lit ablaze, causing him to moo in pain.

"What the….!?" Lisanna questioned as she jumped back towards Lucy.

"No Taurus!" Lucy exclaimed. "That fire, where did it come from?!"

"Be careful, he's dangerous!" Coco warned Lucy and Lisanna. The burnt Taurus meanwhile disappeared in golden sparks to head back to the Spirit World.

"I've had enough of this guy." Lisanna leapt at him again with her claws.

"Don't get too cocky, girl!" Byro took out another vile of dark blue liquid. "Storm Liquid!" This liquid created a hurricane of winds that hit Lisanna dead on and blew her hard into a wall.

"Okay, that's it!" Lucy was angry now as she took out another key. "Open! Gate of the Maiden: Virgo!"

With the sound of a doorbell, the celestial spirit Virgo burst out of the ground under Byro and nailed him with an upper-cut.

"Another creature out of nowhere?!" Byro questioned as he was in the air. "Could she be using a spell similar to Anima?!"

Virgo pulled her arms back, which began to glow. "Punishment time!"

"Saywha?" Byro questioned in confusion.

"Spica Hole!" She threw her arms out at Byro, a hole formed underneath him as he was sent falling into the hole, screaming the whole way.

"Oh yeah!" Lisanna and Lucy both cheered as they high-fived each other.

Coco looked more in amazement. "Wow, they're so cool."

Virgo suddenly appeared by their sides. "Will you punish me now princess?" She asked Lucy.

"You are too weird!" Lucy angrily stated.

"Huh? Punish?" Lisanna questioned with a question mark above her head.

Coco's eyes had stars in them. "Wow, she's a princess to?" She then continued to think. "Maybe I should give them the key after all. I mean, I'd love to have all that magic power, but I know that if the King gets it, he's gonna hurt Lily. This is hard."

Before anything else could happen there was a loud explosion as a certain dark individual burst from the wall and slid hard across the ground, leaving a crater as he slid.

"What was that?!" Lisanna questioned.

"It would appear someone has crashed in front of us."

"Way to state the obvious Virgo." Lucy sweat dropped.

A dark voice grunted as the dust cleared, revealing to be Nelo Angelo, much to everyone's shock, especially Coco.

"Nelo Angelo!? What's he doing here?!" The frightened little girl questioned.

"A demon here in Edolas." Virgo observed. "This is a surprise."

Lucy was able to get a good look at his face. "Wait… his face… it looks just like…"

Less than a second later Dante, still in his Devil Trigger, suddenly appeared facing Nelo Angelo. While Lisanna and Coco both looked frightened as they both gave yelps at his appearance, Lucy knew who it was.

"Dante!" She cheered.

"That's Dante?!" Lisanna questioned.

"What is that?!" Coco screamed, never seeing anything like that.

Dante turned his head slightly back. "You guys doing okay?"

"Yeah, we're fine. What about you?" Lucy asked.

Dante's demonic face smirked. "Never better, it feels good to put this wannabe in his place right here."

Lisanna still looked surprised. "What is…?!" She questioned to Lucy. "Is that some kind of Take Over Magic?!"

Lucy laughed nervously. "Not exactly, long story."

Nelo Angelo used his sword to support himself as he was in a great deal of pain. As he glared in anger towards Dante and the females behind him, his eyes took notice of a certain girl. "Coco?" He thought. "What is she doing…." He then noticed what she had in her hands. "The Key!"

Nelo Angelo leaped and zoomed quickly in a dark flash past Dante, Lucy, Lisanna, and Virgo. The next thing they heard was Coco's scream as Nelo Angelo had picked her up by the throat and pinned her to the wall, while she still held the key.

The Black Angel laughed. "Oh my dear Coco, you've saved me the trouble of coming to find that key. Hand it over."

Coco looked more terrified than she had ever been in her life as tears fell down from her eyes. She clung to the key harder, despite still being terrified of the being that held her throat. "No… I won't."

"I wasn't asking!" Nelo Angelo stated angrily, as he squeezed her throat, causing her to cry out in pain. "You will…"

Before he could finish, a red blur sped past him. The next thing he knew, his right arm had been completely severed. This caused him to yell in complete and total agony. He dropped his sword and held his wound, no blood poured out of it, just more dark lightning.

Dante, still in his Devil Trigger stood in front of Coco. "Pick on someone your own size."

Nelo Angelo stopped his yelling as he grunted and glared, he soon found himself surrounded by Virgo, Lucy, and Lisanna, still in her Take Over: Cat form.

"You stay away from that girl you monster!" Lisanna yelled at him as she readied her claws.

"What she said!" Lucy added.

Coco, who was greatly relieved, looked up at the red demon standing in front of her. "This, monster protected me? And he seems to know them." She looked to the girls. "Are they friends or something?"

Suddenly the ground underneath them, and throughout the entire amusement park began to shake, as though an earthquake was going off. The group, Nelo Angelo included, looked around in confusion.

"What's all that noise?" Lucy wondered.

"It's probably just your tummy, hungry?" Virgo suggested to Lucy.

"I doubt that's it." Lisanna sweat dropped.

A certain raspy chuckle was heard from the hole that Virgo made recently. Nelo Angelo knew who it was. "Byro."

Without warning, a large tentacle burst from the ground and grabbed Coco along with the key she carried. She screamed as she was grabbed. Dante, Lisanna, Virgo, and Lucy looked in surprise as a tentacle-mass resembling that of an octopus emerged from the ground. Nelo Angelo meanwhile used this to leap on top of a building to get some distance.

"You can't run now Coco!" Byro's voice exclaimed in sadistic joy.

"What the Hell?!" the Devil Trigger Dante questioned.

"It appears to be a giant octopus." Virgo observed.

"Yeah, we can see that, thanks." Lucy responded.

It would appear that Byro has transformed into a massive humanoid octopus-like creature. "You are correct, I've ingested Octopus-Liquid!" He still carried the screaming Coco in one tentacle. "Yes! Go on and scream all you like!" He looked down at the group of Fairy Tail members. "No amount of that strange other-worldly magic can save you now!"

Lucy and Lisanna both looked freaked out while Virgo's expression remained stoic, Dante's devil face glared at the creature.

"Any of you ladies wanna tell me what's going on?" Dante guessed.

"We're not sure, but that girl up there has a big key and it may be connected to the King's plan for the giant lacrima." Lucy responded.

Dante's look became serious. "Alright then, I'll get it. You guys take Nelo Angelo."

"Wait what?!" Lucy frightenedly questioned.

"You want us to fight him?!" Lisanna questioned in a similar tone.

"I already softened him up for all of you, plus I'd say he's been disarmed at this point. Pun entirely intended." Dante chuckled at his own joke.

"Yes that would be a wise course of action." Virgo agreed. "Compared to fighting an injured demon and a massive octopus-like creature, I'd say we have a greater advantage in facing this Nelo Angelo character."

Byro slammed one tentacle on the ground where they we're. Dante flew in his Devil Trigger form in the sky while Virgo carried the screaming Lucy as Lisanna relied on her cat-transformation's agility to climb a wall and join up with Lucy and Virgo.

Dante decided to conserve his energy as the red glow around him appeared and he dropped his demonic appearance, assuming his human form again. He landed on the top of a ferris wheel facing Byro. The reason why he chose to loose his Devil Trigger was because he hadn't fully mastered it yet and he didn't want to take the chance of hurting the girl that Byro held.

Dante whistled, getting Byro's attention. "Hey, calamari boy, over here!" Byro turned with a glare at Dante who had just disrespected him. "I normally don't like sea-food, but I think I can make an exception. How about you put the kid down and walk away like a good little squid? Otherwise I'll make sushi out of you."

Byro growled. "You dare make light of me?! Do you know who I am?!"

"Don't know, don't care." Dante replied with a cocky smirk. "I'll say it one more time. Put the kid down, or you're dead."

Byro growled as he quickly slapped his tentacle at Dante, which sent him crashing into the roof of a castle-like attraction, where several sharp-points on the roof had impaled Dante. Coco could only look in horror as Byro chuckled again.

"Who's dead now, boy?" Byro laughed.

However, Byro's laugh was cut off by another laugh, this one from Dante. Byro looked confused a bit, but confusion turned into shock when he saw the smirking face of Dante.

"Child's play like this is all you got? You're such a disappointment, you freak show." Dante broke out the sharp-ends that impaled him as he stood up not even phased. Byro's eyes could only widen as his jaw dropped. Coco's eyes shook as well, she could not believe what she just saw.

"How… How is this possible!? Just what are you!?"

Dante still smirked. "I'm the company chef. And today's dish is sushi." He leapt at Byro with Rebellion in his hands.

Meanwhile, Nelo Angelo, on the roof of an attraction, still grunted in pain, still feeling from when his arm was severed. He picked up his dark blade with his only remaining hand and looked to where Dante was facing Byro. He saw Coco still holding the key and was about to go for it.

"Hold it!"

Nelo Angelo turned around to see Lucy pointing a finger at him with Virgo on her left and the she-cat Lisanna on her right. "You're not going anywhere!" Lucy told him.

Nelo Angelo glared at her. "Don't be so overconfident child, do you really think you can defeat me?"

"In case you haven't noticed, you're missing an arm, and you're pretty beat up." Lisanna reminded.

"Yes, I surmise that surrendering right now may be you're best option." Virgo advised.

The Black Angel's quite angry at the humiliation that had just been inflicted upon him by Dante and now he knew who to take it out on. "I won't even need both my arms to kill all of you!"

He surged forward with his blade; but all three moved out of the way quickly. Lisanna was the first to leap at him as she slashed her claws rapidly at his face.

"This is for all the pain you caused the Edolas Fairy Tail you monster!" She exclaimed as she gave a fierce kick that hit and clawed at Nelo Angelo's face, knocking him back a bit.

"Virgo, take him down hard!" Lucy ordered her spirit.

"As you wish princess." Virgo obeyed before running quickly at the Black Angel. As she ran, it sounded like a jackhammer was going off.

Virgo clocked Nelo Angelo across the face to send him in the air. As he was in the air, Virgo slammed her glowing hands together to perform an attack. "Spica Lock!"

Several rocks and boulders emerged from the ground and completely surrounded to encase Nelo Angelo. The large rock-encase fell to the ground.

"Ah yeah! We rule!" Lucy cheered.

"Don't celebrate just yet Lucy." Lisanna told her. "I don't think he's done yet."

"Yes she is correct, demons are not so easily disposed of." Virgo stated as Nelo Angelo's blade pierced out of the stone. Dark lightning surged as the stone encase exploded forcing the group back. As the dust cleared, Nelo Angelo was very angry. He flashed a 'death-glare' at Lucy, causing her to shudder.

"You're mine!" Nelo Angelo surged at her but Lisanna was quick to move.

"Take Over: Animal Soul: Bull!" Lisanna transformed yet again. Her appearance was roughly the same as she was now wearing a brown two-piece bikini, with brown and black gloves and boots resembling bull-hooves, as well as large bullhorns on her head. She surged with speed and head-butted Nelo Angelo in the side, causing him to slide and fall off the building, crashing into the ground below.

"That's not going to stop him for long." Lisanna stated.

"Geese how much punishment can this freak take?!" Lucy comically exclaimed.

"Perhaps this may help." Virgo tossed Lucy a red rod.

"What the heck is this?" She questioned.

"It's an extendable whip from the Celestial Spirit World." Virgo answered. "The Fleuve D'etoiles"

"The River of Stars?" Lucy questioned.

"Look out!" Lisanna warned as Nelo Angelo suddenly appeared and used his blade to stab Virgo through her body.

"Virgo!" Lucy exclaimed in horror as Lisanna jumped with her bull-transformation's strength, carrying Lucy away.

"I'm sorry princess… I can't be any help to you… farewell for now." Virgo's body faded into golden sparkles as she went back to the Spirit World.

"Pathetic." Nelo Angelo spat. He turned to face the two girls as they landed a distance away. "You're next!"

"Oh he is gonna pay for that!" Lucy exclaimed in anger as she extender her whip which revealed itself to be almost made from glowing blue water and golden sparkles around it.

"Wait, Lucy do you even know how to use it?" Lisanna questioned as Nelo Angelo leapt to them.

"Well we got no choice. Hold him down!" Lucy told her.

"Right." Lisanna nodded as she ran to meet Nelo Angelo as he landed. "Take Over: Animal Soul: Snake Arms!" Lisanna transformed, her clothes we're the blue one she had before when she fought Byro with Lucy, but her arms had transformed into green and pink snakes. They lashed out and wrapped around Nelo Angelo and tightened their strength around him like boa constrictors.

"I got him!" Lisanna yelled.

"Hold him still!" Lucy flailed her whip and whipped it repeatedly across Nelo Angelo's body. Though Lucy was smiling at first, her smile vanished when she saw Nelo Angelo's own face smile.

"Was that supposed to hurt?" Lucy and Lisanna's faces became shocked as their eyes became white circles. He used his own strength to break out of Lisanna's hold, he then gave a round-house to Lisanna and send her into Lucy.

Both girls screamed as they tumbled over each other and fell off the building, landing hard on the ground.

Meanwhile, Byro was chasing Dante, still in his octopus-form as he held Coco. Byro's giant appearance tore apart most of the amusement park that he walked through. Dante jumped back as he faced the giant Octopus-Byro.

Byro roared. "You pest! I'll squash you like the vermin that you are!"

Dante's smirk never vanished from his face. "Alright, bring it on."

Byro lashed out multiple tentacle strikes, but Dante jumped and ran to avoid each one that slammed on the ground. Three large tentacles all tried to shoot straight down at Dante like missiles but he not only jumped and avoided when they smashed into the ground, but he actually landed on the tentacles and began to run on top of them.

"Stop running all over me!" Byro exclaimed as Dante ran up the tentacles and up Byro's body. He pulled out Ebony and began to shoot at the head, forcing Byro's head to fall back to avoid getting hit. This gave Dante the opening he needed.

From where he was, he leaped off Byro's chest and straight towards the tentacle that still held Coco, and the key. He quickly used his sword to slice the tentacle off, and set Coco free. Byro screamed in agony at the tentacle being sliced off as Dante caught Coco, still holding the key, in the air and landed on top of a tall castle attraction.

"You okay kid?" Dante asked, looking down at Coco as she could only look at him in complete and utter amazement. All she could do was nod slightly.

"Filthy Earthlander!" Byro's exclamation caught their attention as they turned to see him approaching them with deadly intent. "How dare you challenge us! You dare challenge our King?! Everlasting magic is our right!"

"That's total bullshit." Dante said. "You guys didn't just steal our magic, you stole my friends, my family." This caught Coco's attention. "If you wanted magic, you could have just knocked and we might even have offered you some. But you went and took something that didn't belong to you. That is something I don't tolerate."

Coco looked at Dante in surprise. "Wait… the magic the King took… is his friends?"

"Anyone who hurts my friends is in for a world of pain!" Dante stated as he held Coco close to him in his right arm and Rebellion in his left hand.

"You claim to stand against Edolas, yet you have someone from Edolas in your arms." Byro stated. "Isn't she one of your enemies?" A sadistic smile formed on his face. "I would have thought you would approve of her suffering."

"She's just a kid." Dante said. "And if there's one thing I hate more than anything, its big guys like you picking on people smaller than them. If you want her, you'll go through me first."

Byro growled. "Just who the hell do you think you are?!"

He had a serious expression on his face. "My name is Dante. I'm the son of the Dark Knight Sparda, and a member of Fairy Tail!"

He leaped straight at Byro.

Lucy and Lisanna we're both struggling against Nelo Angelo. Lisanna had transformed into her Take Over: Animal Soul: Harpy form and flew her claws at Nelo Angelo but he blocked her attack with his blade before surging dark lightning from it and causing an explosion to send her back at Lucy.

They both got up as they glared at Nelo Angelo. "I question Dante's decision in having you face me. You would have better luck facing that idiot Byro, but even with one arm the two of you cannot defeat me."

"We'll see about that." Lisanna stated. "You've caused the people in Edolas so much pain. How many people in this world have you killed?! How many innocent lives have you taken?! And for what?!"

"You're lecturing me?" Nelo Angelo questioned.

Lucy stood up defiantly at Nelo Angelo. "No. We're stopping you! I don't care who you are or who you work for! There is no way I'm letting you get away with any of this! Using our friends, hurting all the people in Edolas, the Exceeds! What gives you the right to take toy with all their lives?!"

Nelo Angelo glared before he ran forward with his blade, but before it could make contact, another blade blocked his attack, and this one was a black sword held by a certain swordsman.

"You will not harm another innocent ever again." Modeus declared as his sword began to glow. "Demon Sword: Phantom Moon!"

Modeus swung his sword to unleash a series of phantom-crescent-moon blades at Nelo Angelo all close-range. This attack hurt the Black Angel immensely as he was sent flying close to the Monster Academy.

"Modeus!" Lucy exclaimed happily.

"Are you two alright?" He asked with concern.

"Yeah, but where's Natsu?" Lisanna asked.

Modeus only smiled. "You'll see in just a minute."

A large shadow soon loomed over the entire group and they could see it was the large octopus-Byro.

"Is that a…. giant octopus?" A confused Modeus questioned

"Yep." Lisanna and Lucy both answered in a deadpan tone with lowered eyelids and sweat drops.

They all jumped back a bit for safety as they saw Dante in the air, still holding Coco close to him, as he used Rebellion to perform his Million-Stab-Technique, sending multiple red energy projectiles at Byro; each one of them making direct contact and causing large explosions all over his body and making him scream in agony.

"AH! It HURTS! IT HURTS!" Byro screamed.

"Of course it does." Dante said as he landed on Byro's head. "That's how you know it's working." Dante used his own demonic strength to jump up from Byro's head, pushing him down a bit. While in the air, Dante swung Rebellion to send a red energy wave right at Byro, who screamed as it hit him. As it hit him, he began to fell.

Nelo Angelo barley recovered in time to see the falling form of the Octopus-Byro falling on top of him. He couldn't avoid it as he looked with wide-eyed shock as he crashed down on him, and onto the Monster Academy.

Dante landed on a rooftop. "Stay down calamari-boy." Dante teased.

This angered the pretty-much-beaten-Byro even further. "You… You… insolent little…!" Byro never got the chance to finish as large flames erupted from the Monster Academy building and began to engulf and burn him. "What's happening?! Why am I…!?"

Dante smirked as he knew exactly who's fire that was. Natsu yelled as he punched Hughes out of the flames across the face. The impact also hurt Byro as he felt this force at the back of his head, knocking him out quickly. Even Nelo Angelo was caught in the flames as well.

"SO YOU THINK I'M A MONSTER HUH!? WELL YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET PAL!"

"Natsu!" Lucy and Lisanna both happily exclaimed at the same time, while Modeus had knowing smile.

As Natsu flew out of the explosion with a flaming fist; the rest of the group saw the flames engulf and take down Byro, Hughes, and even Nelo Angelo.

Dante jumped down to join Lucy, Lisanna, and Modeus. He sat Coco down gently on the ground before he turned to face the very weak Nelo Angelo who stumbled out with smoking and cracked armor.

He stumbled on the ground before coming face-to-face with the glaring Dante, Lucy, Modeus, and Lisanna. He heard a crash on the ground behind him and looked to see Natsu land, leaving a crater. He glared darkly at Nelo Angelo and growled like an animal.

Nelo Angelo growled himself slightly. He knew in his present condition he could not win, not against these many enemies. "This is not over!"

He swung his blade on the ground, creating a flash of dark lightning causing the group to look away. When the flash subsided they looked only to find the Black Angel had vanished.

"He's gone!" Lucy stated.

"Natsu can you track his scent?" Modeus asked.

Natsu sniffed for a bit. "Ugh. No good." He said with a scowl. "Must have found a way to hide his scent."

Dante glared. "Damn coward."

"We'll find him, don't worry." Lisanna assured. "He can't hide forever."

Coco meanwhile could only look in complete shock and amazement as she saw the fallen giant octopus and a pair of human legs twitching from under it.

"They took down Hughes and Byro?! And even forced Nelo Angelo to retreat?! That's… they're… amazing!"

Natsu meanwhile caught sight of the Octopus Byro. "Whoa! What the heck is this huge blob!?" He questioned with his eyes popping out.

"Don't ask." Lucy, Lisanna, and Dante replied at the same time.

Modeus caught sight of Coco who was sitting on the ground, still holding the large black key. "Who is this girl?"

"Not sure, but that octopus-thing here and Nelo Angelo we're dead-set on getting her." Dante answered.

The group gathered around her. Lisanna kneeled to her level. "Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"

"How do you guys know her?" Natsu asked.

"We bumped into her, literally." Lucy answered.

Coco stuttered for a few seconds before looking at Dante. "Thank you. You saved me. Thank you so much!"

Dante smiled. "No problem. But why we're those guys after you anyway?"

"This key is what they wanted." Coco began to explain, showing them the large key. "It'll turn on a machine that'll kill all of your friends."

That got their attention. "What?!" Modeus questioned.

"What'd you say?!" Natsu questioned as well.

"Are you talking about that thing that's going to make the huge lacrima crash into Extalia?" Lucy asked.

"So that key is part of the King's plan." Lisanna realized.

"And subsequently, Nelo Angelo's plan as well." Modeus added.

"So why are you trying to keep it away from them?" Dante asked.

Coco's head hung down. "They said we could have ever-lasting power. But I decided I wanted ever-lasting peace instead. So please…" She looked at them with a desperate look on her face and tears in her eyes. "Please help me destroy it for good! I'm begging you!"

No further convincing was needed. "So you're saying all we have to do is stop them from smashing that lacrima is destroy this key?! That's amazing!"

"We'll stop both the King and Nelo Angelo's plans right here!" Modeus stated.

"Sounds easy enough." Dante said.

"Come on let's do it!" Lisanna happily said.

"Alright!" Natsu exclaimed as he reached for the key that Coco was handing to him. "I got this!"

*SWIPE!*

All of a sudden, Natsu had a pink lizard in his hand. Causing his eyes to morph into white circles as his jaw dropped; along with Modeus, Lisanna, even Dante.

"WHAT THE?!" Lucy exclaimed with the same expression as well.

"Hmm, mmm." The key was in the hands of Sugarboy, as it appeared he was sliding on the ground on his chest-armor away from them. "Stop right there, Coco! Even you have better sense than to hand something this important to an enemy of the kingdom. This key belongs to his majesty. Hmm mmm." He slid away.

"Sugarboy!" Coco exclaimed

"Bastard!" Dante exclaimed towards Sugarboy as he pulled out Ebony and Ivory and shot towards him. Sugarboy however was able to slid and avoid the energy-bullets shot at him.

"He took it!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Oh no." Lisanna gasped while Lucy covered her mouth.

"Give it back!" Coco exclaimed, reaching out in that direction.

"Stop right there!" Suddenly appearing above the fallen form of the Octopus-Byro was Grey riding a blue motorcycle. "You hear me!?"

"Of course I hear you." Sugarboy called back. "I just don't care."

"You're only gonna make this worse for yourself!" Grey told him.

"Grey!" Natsu, Dante, Lisanna, and Lucy all exclaimed at the same time.

Modeus jumped from the ground and was able to grab a hand on the end of the motorcycle, he flipped and landed on the back behind Grey.

"What the… Modeus?!" Grey questioned.

"Perhaps you could use some help." Modeus offered with a smile. Grey gave a grin back, accepting it.

"Alright." Grey turned to the others as the motorcycle landed. "You guys handle the rest, Modeus and I can take this guy!"

Sugarboy slid out of the main gates of E-Land while Grey and Modeus rode on the motorcycle after him.

"Hmm, you Earthlanders are like a persistent rash, you just keep coming back." Sugarboy stated.

"Why don't you say that to my face man?!" Grey challenged.

"Hand that key over now and no harm will come to you." Modeus told him

"Thanks for the offer pal, but I'll pass." Sugarboy said. He took out his sword the Rosa Espada and slid it along the ground next to him. Grey however was able to swerve the motorcycle to avoid the liquid ground.

Natsu, Dante, Lisanna, and Lucy began to run to try and catch up with them.

"Come on guys, we gotta go!" Natsu stated as the group ran.

"Whatever it takes to get that key back!" Lucy agreed, however the group stepped in something and began to sink.

They all looked down to see their feet was stuck in liquid ground. "What the… what the hell is this crap?!" Dante questioned.

"Oh not this again!" Lisanna grimaced. "Someone get us out of here!"

Dante saw a shadow looming over them. He had a deadpanned expression on his face as he saw it. "Aw shit"

The unconscious Octopus-Byro had fallen on top of them and got them stuck even further. "This huge Ocotups guy is crushing us! He's super icky!"

While Natsu, Lisanna, and Lucy comically screamed, and Dante looking quite annoyed, the entire park began to shut down as all the lights of what was left of E-Land in the battle began to turn off.

"Attention guests, all of E-Land's attractions are now closed. Thank you for coming and we'll hope to see you again soon."

Grey and Modeus meanwhile rode their motorcycle and continued to chase the sliding Sugarboy into a long hallway of the castle. Sugarboy was laughing the whole way as he held the key.

"How the heck are you even able to keep sliding across the floor like that?!" Grey questioned.

"Yes, friction should have stopped you're body long ago." Modeus added, perplexed that Sugarboy could somehow disobey the laws of physics.

Sugarboy winked to the two of them with a sparkle appearing next to him. "I just do it man."

"That makes no sense at all." Modeus said with an annoyed sweatdrop on his head.

"So tell me what that key is for instead!" Grey demanded.

"It activates the Dragon Chain Cannon." Sugarboy answered.

"What is that?" Grey asked.

"It's the weapon that the King of Edolas intends to use to crash the lacrima containing our friends into Extalia." Modeus answered.

Sugarboy looked impressed. "You have a sharp intuition there pal, impressive."

Modeus looked to Grey. "What can this man do? What is his weapon?"

"Some fancy sword that can soften anything it touches." Grey answered.

"So his sword can turn solids into liquids just from physical contact?" Modeus assumed. He looked to the ground where Sugarboy was sliding. "I have an idea. Grey, freeze the floor!"

Grey looked surprised. "But he can just…" His eyes widened as he realized what Modeus was planning. "Oh I get it now." Grey said with a smirk.

Grey leaned the motorcycle close to the ground as he placed his right hand close to it and a blue-magic circle appeared. "Ice Make: Floor!"

A trail of ice appeared on the ground and shot directly towards Sugarboy. "Is an icy-floor truly the best you can come up with?" Sugarboy challenged. "I can make anything softer, with my Rosa Espada"

Sugarboy touched the ice with his sword and it appeared to melt into water. Modeus smirked. "That's the idea." He told him.

Sugarboy quickly realized what their plan was, and it was too late. The water caused him to loose traction, resulting in him spinning out of control.

"You can make it as soft as you want, it'll still be too slippery for you to control yourself." Grey said as Sugarboy crashed face-first into a pillar on the side of the hall.

"We both have to come in and destroy the key simultaneously!" Modeus told Grey. "You go left, I'll go right."

"Got it!" Grey answered as he purposely spun the motorcycle on the icy floor. He and Modeus jumped off and sent it hurtling towards Sugarboy as he recovered.

"I'll show you again!" Sugarboy lunged his sword at the motorcycle, causing it to turn completely liquid. Once again he fell for Grey and Modeus' trap. Grey came in from behind on the left side, with Modeus on the right side with a sword in his hand.

"The key!" Sugarboy realized what they we're doing.

Modeus' sword began to glow white, channeling his demonic energy into it, as he swung at it. At the same time, Grey was preparing a spell as he reached for it. "Freeze! Now shatter!"

Modeus' blade clashed with the key just as Grey froze it with his hand. This resulted in Grey's and Sugarboy's hands getting frozen together with the key, as well as Modeus' blade still clashed against the key with white energy frozen around it. It was a standoff for a second, but Modeus quickly realized the key was still in one piece.

"It didn't break!" Modeus exclaimed.

"What gives?" Grey questioned.

"Hmmm." Sugarboy began with confidence. "Clever, you'd hoped both of your powers combined might shatter the key. I certainly felt the power from that sword, and I'll admit this is cold. Nice try Ice Boy, you two Pretty Boy."

"I hate it when people call me that!" Grey comically exclaimed, not like being called 'Ice Boy'.

"How come this key is still intact?" Modeus questioned.

"Get real chump. This isn't some flimsy piece of junk, you know. But it is very cold." Sugarboy answered. He took note of how his and Grey's hands we're touching, and that Modeus' blade was stuck to the key. "Now I'm not particularly fold of holding hands with other men at length so would you mind letting go?"

"Speaking of hands, haven't you realize that we got the upper one right now?" Grey asked with a smirk.

"Hmmm, what do you mean by that Ice Boy?" Sugarboy confidently asked, while purposely calling him that to goad Grey.

"Would you stop calling me that already!?" Grey comically yelled again.

"Well to answer your question, you may need this key, but my friends and I do not." Modeus told Sugarboy. "And no matter how strong a solid object is, even diamonds have a breaking point, when placed under enough pressure." Modeus looked towards Grey as he finished that, the Ice-Make Wizard seemed to get the message as he smirked.

"Go!" Modeus exclaimed as he poured his own demonic energy into the sword and into the key it was clashed against.

"Freeze!" Grey did the same as he poured his ice-magic into the key, with pressure building up from the two separate powers being poured into the spot.

Sugarboy looked surprise before his confident smirk returned. "Once again, clever; pouring all your energy into that one spot could find some sort of breaking point, but don't forget my Rose Espada can soften anything it touches; like your ice and sword there."

Grey and Modeus still looked confident themselves. "I would be careful if I we're you." Modeus advised with a smirk.

"Yeah, one wrong move and you'll turn your key into a pretzel." Grey added with a smirk as well.

Sugarboy growled a bit before becoming cocky. "Well, finely-tuned is my middle name."

Modeus looked questionably. "What do you mean by that?"

Sugarboy readied his Rosa Espada. "Precision. I shall simply have to cut you both away."

With that Sugarboy began to relentlessly slash his sword against the ice like a maniac, thus causing the ice around him to turn liquid. He was cutting his way to the key.

"YOU'RE ICE AND POWERS WON'T HELP YOU NOW!" Sugarboy maniacally yelled.

Modeus glared as did Grey. "So you wanna fight huh?!" Grey poured his power into key, freezing it again. "I'll just freeze you instead!"

Modeus was in agreement "Keep trying you're best, but we will never let it go!" Modeus began to pour in his power into the sword and into the key along with Grey. This seemed to anger Sugarboy as he placed his sword at his end, causing the ice to turn into water and surge around him.

"Not if I cut off your arms punks!" Sugarboy exclaimed angrily.

Grey and Modeus continued to pour all their power into the key, while Sugarboy poured his sword's power to melt the ice. This power struggle went back and forth a few times.

"Let it go now!" Sugarboy ordered.

"Never!" Modeus exclaimed.

"Come on Freeze!" Grey continued to pour in power.

A bright white light shined throughout the entire hallway as all three struggled for the key. Grey and Modeus poured in raw energy right into the key as Sugarboy tried to cut down the ever-increasing ice by forcing his sword against it, subsequently pouring more power into the struggle. A white and cyan light from their respective powers shined over both Grey and Modeus while water surged around Sugarboy as he continued to try and melt the ice.

Sugarboy yelled as he did this, Grey and Modeus both grunted as they struggled as well. This struggle continued for a while as they all did their best to try to do what they wanted to do. This kept going for a while until finally….

*Crack!*

A large crack formed on the end of the key, and a few more formed as well. Modeus and Grey smiled while Sugarboy looked completely shocked.

"What the…!?" Sugarboy questioned with white circles for eyes. "No way! You cracked the key!"

"We cracked the key." Modeus said.

"What?!" A still shocked Sugarboy questioned.

"As I said, everything has a breaking point." Modeus began to explain. "Grey and I poured our energy into that one single spot, but you added some energy as well. As you tried to use you're swords power, it too concentrated on that spot where the key was. Three powers converging onto one spot, and it's bound to give to pressure. So thank you for your help."

"Now watch it shatter into a million pieces!" Grey stated with a victorious smirk.

Sugarboy began to comically panic. "STOP IT! YOU'RE REALLY GONNA BREAK IT!"

"That's our intention!" Modeus stated.

"We'll do whatever it takes to save our friends lives! Modeus!" Grey exclaimed.

"Right!" Modeus and Grey poured their energy into the key in an effort to shatter it, and it was working. Cracks formed all over the key, as it couldn't take the pressure from all their energy.

"Wait! You don't understand what you're doing!" Sugarboy exclaimed. "You and you're men need it! You need it as much as we do!"

"What?" Modeus questioned, this caught him off guard.

"Let's just call a quick truce for now! Before its too late!" Sugarboy quickly proposed.

Modeus looked concerned while Grey looked frustrated. He, and subsequently Modeus, pulled the ice-mass containing the key, and Sugarboy, and pinned him to the wall behind them.

"Why would we do that?!" Grey angrily questioned.

"Why? Because you need it to!" Sugarboy told them. "It's the only way you'll be able to turn your friends back to normal!"

This caught Modeus by surprise, but Grey looked unconvinced. "Oh is that so, you're full of crap."

"Grey wait." Modeus stopped him as they ceased pouring energy into the key for now. He turned to Sugarboy. "Explain. How is this 'Dragon Chain Cannon' as you say going to help us?"

"The Dragon Chain Cannon fires condense Dragon Slayer Magic!" Sugarboy revealed. "If you knew what that kind of magic could do in our world, you'd see why you needed that key!"

Grey and Modeus' eyes both widened in realization as they each remembered something. Grey remembered how Gajeel used his own Iron Dragon Slayer Magic to free him, Erza, and Lady from the lacrima they we're turned into; while Modeus remembered how Natsu and Wendy weren't absorbed by the Anima in Earthland because of their respective Dragon Slayer Magics.

"So what you're saying…" Modeus realized.

Sugarboy smirked. "Blast that lacrima with the Dragon Chain Cannon and you'll turn all your little friends back to how they we're."

"I don't think he's bluffing." Modeus told Grey. "Natsu, Wendy, and Gajeel we're able to avoid being turned into a lacrima because they we're Dragon Slayers."

"So you finally get it." Sugarboy continued. "That's why neither of us can afford to let this key break, you all may need it more than I do."

Grey seemed to understand, but wouldn't go for it. "You don't know anything!" Grey spoke to Sugarboy. "We have three Dragon Slayers in our guild. Why would we need to use some stupid cannon, when we got the real thing?!"

"So, explain to us why would we need your cannon when the Dragon Slayers we have can just turn everyone back themselves?" Modeus questioned to Sugarboy. "We wouldn't need this key if that we're the case."

"By the time it would take for them to shatter that lacrima, it would be too late." Sugarboy began. "As early as tomorrow, it will begin transforming into pure magic power. Our plan was to drive into Extalia before that happened."

As they talked, Lady and Gajeel, along with Happy continued to face Panther-Lily on the Lacrima Island.

Sugarboy continued to explain to both Grey and Modeus. "Yeah, with three Dragon Slayers you could probably save a few more of your friends, but there's no way you can save all of them. In fact, most of them will not survive the transformation. And what's more, neither will those scores of innocent civilians the Anima absorbed with your precious guild mates. What about them? Hmm?"

As Sugarboy smirked, Grey and Modeus both glared. Grey turned to Modeus. "What about you? You, Dante, and Trish survived the Anima right? Can't you guys do something about it?"

"Grey, you know that the power the three of us have is very different from that of the Dragon Slayers." Modeus told him. "While there is a possibility our power can save our friends, there is an even greater chance it may end up killing them instead, or cause some other unforeseen side effect. I can't leave that to chance."

As Grey was told all this, Sugarboy smirked even more. "So you finally get it. Now, let. It. Go."

Modeus looked unsure as they still held onto the severely cracked key. He looked towards Grey. The Ice-Make Wizard looked towards Modeus, while he didn't say anything his eyes told Modeus a message, which the black swordsman seemed to understand. He nodded.

"Do it."

Grey continued to pour his energy into the key, much to Sugarboy's shock. "You just told us all we needed to know!"

As Grey began to shatter the ice around the key, Modeus himself poured more power into the sword. With his own demonic strength he swung the sword against the key, freeing it from the ice and shattering the key into many tiny pieces.

Sugarboy's jaw dropped as he saw the pieces fall to the ground. "You… you… BROKE THE KEY!" He comically screamed.

Grey nodded to Modeus who understood and the two began to walk away. As they did, Sugarboy desperately tried to pull the pieces back together.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!? I WASN'T BLUFFING YOU KNOW!" Grey and Modeus continued to walk away. But Sugarboy got up in a furious rage with his Rosa Espada.

"DO YOU REALIZE YOU'VE JUST DOOMED YOUR FRIENDS TO BE DESTROYED!"

Modeus ducked underneath Sugarboy's sword strike and delivered an elbow that knocked Sugarboy back.

"You're wrong! We've saved them!" Modeus exclaimed as he surged forward with a glowing sword. "Demon Sword: Residual Moon!"

Modeus slid past Sugarboy, but the later looked to his own blade and saw a vertical white line, shaped like a crescent moon form on his Rosa Espada, it shattered soon after much to his shock.

"WHAT?! HE DESTROYED MY WEAPON!?" Sugarboy questioned.

"You're next!" Grey ran forward to Sugarboy, throwing away his jacket. He placed a hand on his elbow as an ice-blade formed on his right hand and left elbow.

"Ice Blade: Seven Strike Dance!" With several twirls, seven slashes from the blades struck the defenseless Sugarboy. It shattered what was left of Sugarboy's pink armor as it sent him flying before crashing hard on the ground, finishing the fight.

"Nice job taking care of that annoying sword." Grey congratulated Modeus as they stood together.

"Thank you." Modeus replied with a small smile. "While surrounded by energy his weapon could not effect on my sword, allowing me to eliminate it, thus enabling you to finish him."

"Got that right." Grey smirked.

The defeated Sugarboy looked at them from the ground and weakly spoke. "You idiots just made a horrible mistake… one you'll surely regret forever…. That was the only think that could have saved them… and like the fools you are…. You demolished it anyways."

Oddly though Modeus and Grey we're both smiling. "You are mistaken." Modeus said. "Earlier you called Grey an 'Ice Boy', do you wish to know why he hates that name?"

Grey smirked as he created a certain ice-construct in his hands, causing Sugarboy's pupils to shrink.

"Because I'm an Ice-Make Wizard." Grey finished as he showed an exact ice-replica of the key he and Modeus both just destroyed.

Elsewhere

Nelo Angelo weakly stumbled into the dark chamber that was his own personal quarters. He dropped his blade as he held the gash that his right arm used to be. He felt that along with several cuts and bruises across his armored body, plus a few broken bones as well.

He fell on his knees before the black mirror as he placed his only hand on it to support himself.

"Master!" Nelo Angelo called to speak, as dark smoke began to form inside the mirror. "I need more power! Dante, and the Dragon Slayers, as well as their allies, have their magic back! I cannot continue as I am now, and time is running out! My Dark Lord, I beg of you! Grant me more power! The power to slay my enemies and bring this world to its knees for you!"

Within the smoke of the mirror, that was actually a window, three red orbs appeared in a small surge of red lightning within the window, the avatar of the Demon Emperor himself.

"Master…. Mundus…"

"Nelo Angelo." Mundus began. "Do not worry, my faithful servant. You shall have the power you require, now!"

The red eyes began to glow as red lightning surged through the window and onto Nelo Angelo. As they surged throughout his body, the artificial demon screamed as he felt his own body change.

From the stub of where his right arm was, a black mass formed and began to grow outward. Fingers formed which extended into large claws. The armor around Nelo Angelo shattered, revealing the dark grey skin as black spikes came out of his shoulders, elbows, and across his chest. His left hand sprouted longer claws like his newly formed right arm. Large talons appeared out of his feet as well. The white hair grew much longer to the point it reached his waist-area. Large black bat-like wings sprouted from his back, his teeth turned into fangs, and spikes formed around his mouth and curved almost like mandibles. Three spikes appeared on his forehead as well.

Finally his sword to changed, it transformed into something else. No longer a large sword, but rather a twisted double-bladed scythe.

The red lightning stopped as the newly transformed Nelo Angelo fell to his hands and knees.

"It is done." Mundus spoke. "Rise Nelo Angelo, for you are no longer the Black Angel, now you are the Onyx Reaper!"

Nelo Angelo felt his new power and gave and let loose a demonic laugh as his red eyes began to glow an even darker red.

Oh boy, so there's good news and bad news.

The good news is, the members of Fairy Tail now have a way to save their friends as well as Edolas.

The bad news is that Nelo Angelo just got an upgrade. He's even stronger now; he is the Onyx Reaper (Onyx is the name of a black gemstone).

Oh, you may have noticed I gave Lisanna a few additional powers. She's going to have more of a major role in my series so she'll likely have additional magical powers as well, just letting you know.

So yeah, things are about to get REALLY hard-core very soon as the final battle of the Edolas arc draws near. I hope you all enjoy this chapter and are looking forward to what I have planned next. Get ready
