Author Note

Hello there and welcome to another chapter. Yeah, I did tell that I would focus on my Naruto stories for a while, but what do you know…there has been a long time since I stopped writing about it. As it happened three or four years ago, when it comes to Naruto, I simply do not find the drive to write about it anymore, which is unfortunate, since I don't like to leave things unfinished. There are only three stories left to finish, but I just cannot find the same drive as I am having for the Fate series. Hell, I even have another story of Fate in the works, but I will not start it until I finish this one. Or will…I don't know…when I started scribbling some ideas in Evernote, an hour later, I realized that I had already worked on the overall plot, the relationships, the skills, even did some research on it. So, yes, for now, I will focus on this one. Perhaps, when this one is about to finish, I can start the next one.

Or I can go crazy and start writing it right now, who knows.

Now, let us answer the reviews.

JustANormalGuyyyyyy - Yes, thanks for the tip. While the Fate series does not exactly match in terms of plots, I found that some theory that is in Fate Aprocrypha does not exist in Fate and Fate Stay Night, which was quite odd. But hey...who am I to judge...there will be some changes I will make to the overall plot. I trust that it will be worth it in the end.

Old Steamer - That was one hell of a theory, though it would be quite troublesome to explain the theory behind it. About Arturia's description, there is a link in my profile where you can see how she looks like now. It is indeed like Lancer Artoria, but without the oversized chest area that people seemed to draw on occasion. Also, what Ayako was jealous of was not her looks, but rather how Shirou looked when he looks at his wife. She was jealous of Arturia for having a husband that would look at her like Shirou does.

Gan315 - I hope I will not dissapoint you with a couple of changes I have made to the Aprocrypha.

BravoSiex1311 - You have actually supplied me with an interesting little scene for this chapter. Even if yes, Gray can be linked to FSN, I nevertheless remained with my choice of giving the lance to Arturia.

tl34lt12 - No, Arturia has no job. She is just free to roam about her day to day life with her friends and her husband. About Fate Aprocrypha, I have made some changes o the plot, but I will reveal in the following chapters.

Radioaktive999 - Yes and no...his realty marble is actually where his swords are. He can summon all of his swords at will, without the need to use a realty marble.

Alberto Garcia - I apologize about Sakura. But in neither Fate or Fate Stay Night, she plays a signitifcant row. Only in Heaven's Feel. I appreciate that you enjoy my story.

Now, on to the chapter as we begin the events of Fate Aprocrypha. In this chapter, I had already made one specific change that some may enjoy, but other may not. I just hope it will be to your liking.

Fate: Sword and Arrow

Part II – Fate Aprocrypha

Chapter 12 – Unwanted Situation

It already became routine for Shirou and Arturia to come home at night in her bike.

Tonight, however, Arturia could see her husband's downed face and it worried her greatly. Two idiots were drinking in a bar and then got behind a wheel. The one driving was speeding way more than the speed limit and lost control of the car. However, by doing so, the idiot ended up causing a major roadblock, hitting close to ten cars before smashing in the rail, dying instantly. Shirou's staff got the ER call as many ambulances rushed in the hospital with fifteen total victims, many of them with third degree burns and some even had lost a limb or two. The hospital thus had to call every available doctor on staff, even from other shifts in order to supply the demand.

Shirou's team had to take care of three…a family…a father, a mother, and a three year-old daughter. The father had lost an arm because of the crash and his face had third degree burns, but Shirou was able to cauterize the wound and stitch, while his assistant worked with the internal bleeding. The child, thankfully, was the least bit injured. She was wearing a seat belt and thus only had injures because of the belt hurting her shoulder.

The mother, however, was simply unsalvageable.

And it so happened to be on her husband's watch no less. Internal bleeding, punctured lung, her body was almost 80% burned.

Her husband was considered by the hospital to be a hard-worker and had the stamina to work for hours on end if needed. Shirou's coworker Akira had explained to Arturia when she appeared to pick him up that they had to stop him, because there was nothing more he could do to save her. Arturia's heart was on her throat the minute she saw the downtrodden look on his face. She was the first one that died on his surgery table. They knew that this would eventually happen. Hell, even if Africa, Shirou had tried to save some malnourished infants but failed. But that time was different. The Red Cross could only do so much because of the lack of equipment and supplies to properly attend to the patients.

She could see his eyes and realized that her husband had been crying, just before leaving the hospital.

When they got off the bike, Arturia was surprised when Shirou hugged her for dear life. She embraced him and they stood there for a while, neither saying anything. After a couple of minutes, they broke the hug as Arturia caressed her husband's face wiping the tears from his eyes with a smile on her face. Shirou simply nodded in thanks at her and smiled as well. He would get through this and he was glad that she had understood and gave him strength to put the situation behind in time. After all, there was no life that he feared losing more than his wife's. It could be a selfish thought, but to him, she was his everything.

"Thank you…"

"You don't need to thank me Shirou…I will always be with you, no matter what."

They were on the verge of walking to their home when both stiffened immediately at the sudden feeling of dread.

Magus…

When the couple sensed the bounded field acting up, they saw three shadows looking at them a couple of meters away from their position. The bounded field provided Shirou with plenty of information. One of them felt familiar to him, which helped him lower his guard somewhat, but the other two had enough mana to be considered at least proficient. And that was enough to warrant caution. For months now, none of the families tried attacking them, hence why this sudden presence disturbed him. The couple looked at one another and nodded. Shirou's problems were forgotten for the moment as this took precedence. When thy walked further, Arturia was able to see Rin's shadow less blurry, before said person waved at them.

"Hi there, Arturia, Emiya…once again we could not step further and knock at your house. Could you let us in. It's important."

The couple waved at Rin, but Shirou looked at the other two briefly. The first one was male, long black hair, wearing a dark blazer and red scarf. The second one was female, though from stature, it looked more like a teenager. She was wearing black boots, followed by black legging up to her thighs. Gray skirt and dark sweater. Her gray hair was covered by a dark hood. Though to both Arturia and Shirou's opinion, her face just bore too many resemblances to Arturia herself when she was a Saber servant. Showing no outward response, inside their heads, it was a different manner entirely.

Shirou was able to find a book regarding a spell that allowed the sharing of perception, similar to the link they had as master and servant.

It was simply too convenient a tool to have.

It allowed them to converse without the need to open their mouths in case of someone trying to eavesdrop. Also, Arturia had shared to him that she remembered the tall dark-haired guy from somewhere, though she could not be certain.

"Sure Rin, but how about introducing your friends here first. Please forgive me, but I would refrain from inviting magus I have not met before into my house."

"Well, at least you have brains…wouldn't want to bother coming here in person if you were to simply take her word and release your bounded field, though I quite applaud such craft Emiya Shirou…you are indeed the son of the magus killer Emiya Kiritsugu and a competent magus." Arturia snorted at that. If Shirou ever hated anything was to be called a magus. She also found that she did not particularly enjoy being addressed as such, even though both used mage craft in battle. As evidence of the man's dislike of the word, Shirou had narrowed his forehead at the man.

"That's nice and all, but I am still waiting for you two to identity yourself."

Rin released a sigh at seeing that look of distrust. It reminded her of their time in the war when Shirou would question her motives.

"Very well, my name is Lord El-Melloi II, formerly known as Waver Velvet, one of the masters of the Fourth Grail War."

Shirou heard Arturia's surprise in his mind as she told him about the small teenager that was Rider's master.

"This is my assistant Gray, we are from the Magus Association and we have urgent matters to discuss with you, Emiya Shirou." When Gray's name was mentioned, she briefly looked up and crossed eyes with Shirou. He could see that this girl, whoever she was, while not only similar to a younger version of his wife, had considerable mana as well, though nowhere near Arturia's level. And Shirou knew about the man's identity, even though this was the first time they met face to face. Just his presence here in Fuyuki raised important questions, since normally an aristocrat such as himself would not bother leaving the clock tower much less leave Europe for that manner.

Right now, his trauma at the hospital was completely forgotten as Shirou could sense a dark omen coming.

"Okay then, please follow me. Though it is fair to warn that I had just altered the bounded field inside the house. The moment each of you tries anything, you will regret it."

Waver and Gray nodded, already used to this sort of treatment of hostility. It was common treatment from magus who had met for the first time. Rin, though, rarely saw it. Arturia had told her one occasion that Shirou did not trust the Magus Association because of what happened to his father. The woman in question betrayed nothing, just briefly nodded in assurance at Rin's direction, easing her worry somewhat. Shirou somehow was even scarier than before. His eyes were calculative and showed that his threat to them was real, even if it was not, no one would dare call out his bluff.

===Emiya's Household===

Once inside the house, however, the atmosphere was ten times more relaxing as Shirou was transformed from threatening to kill them to offering them dinner.

Arturia had found their befuddled expression too much and laughed at their expense. Her husband could be quite scary when he wished to be, but no one can argue that he took the job of dinner host quite seriously. Also, Shirou was used to venting out stress by cooking. Only she could tell by the slight drop of his shoulders while cooking that her husband, was taking his due time processing it all. Meanwhile, playing the part of host herself, she served their guests some tea and pastries to go along with it. Eventually, then, the food was served, and dinner was eaten in peace and quiet, before the time for talking commenced.

"I would say that this kind of welcoming into your home makes me doubt the level of threat from before, Emiya Shirou."

Waver was just trying to see Kiritsugu in him right now but failing.

"Well, this is the first time I had members of the Association in my house, so forgive my rudeness. I just had a rough day that's all."

"Fair enough…as I said before, there are urgent matters I must discuss with you and specifically you considering you being the winner of the last grail war that happened here in Fuyuki." Shirou sit straight at that, now concluding why Rin was here together with them. "Ever since the end of the war seven years ago, we have been monitoring the grail's whereabouts, but much about the last war still remains a mystery. Normally, the amount of mana residue of the Grail could be sensed once in this city, even if it's dormant, collecting mana for the next war. We had people look into it, trying to find its location, but we had found nothing. At first, I had decided to come here in person and question you about what you know, but that would not have served its purpose of its location or its whereabouts…but could I ask what happened once you won?"

Shirou and Arturia exchanged brief thoughts, quickly coming up with a cover story.

"Once the last remaining servant was dealt with, the grail manifested itself to me through a peculiarly disturbing voice, both to me and to my Saber servant, though I can't tell you about what happened to Saber, as she vanished after the war was over."

Velvet nodded, allowing Shirou to continue. The truth was that it appeared before Arturia, but they did not need to know that.

"It asked me about my wish, though I had no wish to ask." All three members of the Association frowned immediately at that. Any magus worth anything would not dare to pass such opportunity. "You seem surprised…but the only reason I had ever entered in this war was to prevent others from using the Grail for misguided purposes. It became my mission to stop others from acquiring the Grail and Tohsaka Rin can attest to that. After all, I was one of the victims of the fourth grail war's fire, seventeen years ago. I had only survived that day because Emiya Kiritsugu rescued me in time, otherwise I would not be standing before you now." Waver did remember the end result of the war as he was present in his grandfather's house when it happened. It was quite a terrifying sight indeed.

"When the grail saw that I had no request, it vanished. I do not know what my servant requested, all I can tell was that the grail vanished soon after I was done talking." Waver snorted with his eyes closed.

"Well, what you wished or not matters not. Moving on, a couple years ago, our branch in Romania had found traces of the Grail manifesting there, but every time we sent agents to check, only their limbs returned. Tell me, what dou you know about the magus family called Yggdmillenia?" Shirou admitted being rather lacking in terms of magic history. Nowadays, he tended to perfect his craft and even form his own magic crest in his spare time, but as far as his father's books on the families, he had not opened it in quite a while, though that name was not familiar at all.

"Never heard of them..." This time, Rin took the initiative and explained.

"Based in Romania, they were once a proud member of the Magus Association, though neither member of the family, with a couple exceptions, had provided powerful magus, at least not to the level of the three royal families. As such, in time, due to the poor quality of their magic circuits, the family had been estranged from the Association in the past. Though they abandoned the Association, they had decided to oppose the Clock Tower ever since, attempting to bring back glory to the family." Shirou nodded, though not quite sure what this had to do with the Grail. Also, he was not a fan of any magus family at the moment, with the exception of the Tohsaka, but that simply because Rin was the only living descendant.

"Before, we would monitor their movements, but they were never considered a threat to us in the past. However, the main patriarch of the family, a man named Darnic Prestore Yggdmillenia was someone who partook in the third great war here in Fuyuki and yes, before you ask, he must have won and thus requested for eternal life, because the third grail war happened close to seventy years ago. He is obviously the most dangerous in the family and possesses knowledge of the Grail system. Anyway, a couple of weeks ago, this very man openly declared to be in possession of the one called Greater Grail, an artifact even stronger than the original Grail here in Fuyuki."

Shirou and Arturia flinched at that, wondering if they could ever destroy it this time.

Waver, then, continued after taking a zip of his tea.

"After his declaration of war, the Association sent an army of fifty magus to retrieve the Grail. To this day, we do not know who it was, but all of them were slaughtered. Only one remained and was able to activate the Greater Grail, thus starting the Sixth Great Grail War." The atmosphere in the room lowered immediately as the couple exchanged looks of apprehension. Not only another war started, but also this time is a much stronger Grail, capable of even more carnage. Still, Shirou was not a master of this war, so he wondered why they were having this conversation.

"Well, I bet that the Association will participate in this war, perhaps Rin will. Why are you here, then, if I may? Only a master can participate in this war."

Waver was busy analyzing the young man before him and nodded.

"No, Tohsaka Rin would certainly receive the invitation, but as stated last night, she has no interest in it, even though it was her obligation as member of the Tohsaka Family."

Rin crossed her arms in indignation at the accusation.

"As I explained before, I have projects in the Association that requires my attention. If you wish, then you are free to talk to Zelretch."

Waver snorted, but then turned to Shirou.

"As you were the winner of the last grail war, I hereby extend the invitation to you to participate as a master, Emiya Shirou." Shirou frowned immediately at that. "This war will be different than the one you are used to. Since the Grail is stronger this time, there will be fourteen servants, seven for each faction. The Yggdmillenia will compose the Black Faction and the Association together with a member of the Church will compose the Red Faction. If you accept, then you shall integrate the Red Faction." Shirou turned pensive about that, but Waver cleared his throat now for the real reason he was here in Fuyuki. "Though I will state right now that saying it is a request is a mere formality. Considering the favor I have provided to you and your wife in convincing the other families to not openly attack you, I am truly here to now call in this retribution from you Emiya Shirou."

The fact that the man said this with the most tranquility Shirou had ever seen, made him even more angry.

Certainly, Arturia was not fairing any better. Gray was already preparing for the worst and Rin was dreading the outcome.

"What are you talking about…just how is this my problem? The families see me as a threat because of my father and because I won the last war. I did not ask for any of this."

A comment failed with naivety as far as Waver was concerned.

"I won't bother explaining how politics and silent warfare is inside the Clocktower. While there is a silent acceptance amongst them on the surface, below the story is entirely different. Each and every family is only interested in two things, either power or prestige. Now, you believed that asking for a favor from me would require no retribution. Yes, this is indeed the Association's problem, but now it became your problem as well for as you will be a member of this war…unless you wish to antagonize us as well. Then I can tell you that no matter how strong you are, you will be alone against dozens of magus families…" Right now, Shirou was furious, but a quick message inside his head allowed him to cool off as he heard the rather direct threat upon his life if he did not comply.

Even if he and Arturia had vouched to stop the resurgence of the Grail it did not mean that Shirou enjoyed being coerced into like he was at the moment.

Waver, Gray and Rin were then waiting for his response. Certainly, if he could release the defenses in the bounded field against them, they would have to retaliate. If rumors were true that Shirou had stood his ground against servants in the past, then they would be hard pressed to escape with their lives. Not to mention the man's wife who was looking at them with barely restrained fury that the members of the Association wondered just who amongst the couple was the more dangerous.

Arturia did not take kindly to them threatening her family.

And despite the couple already deciding to go, she would be damned if she just let this man come and coerce them like this.

"Lord El-Melloi II…Waver Velvet" The tone was so calm and collected, but they all could feel the power behind it. "I can answer for my husband that he will participate in this war and I shall accompany him. But do not think for a second that you can simply come in here, abuse of my husband's hospitality and then demand it from him. Please trust me when I say that the only reason my husband is not at your throats right now is because of me and even I am barely restraining myself here, so…I will give you a small piece of advice…" Arturia then showed them a tiny fraction of her mana burst, sending a small gush of wind at them. "Do not abuse your luck…" Rin shrudded at Arturia's golden eyes, which promised nothing but pain to them. She was just glad that she was her friend, though she wondered if that would be enough.

Waver took some time to compose himself but nodded.

"Gray, if you would…" The man's assistant placed a file on the table followed by a small artifact.

"In this file, it's your itinerary and every information you will require in your trip. The hospital you work for has already received your request for a one-month vacation and it was approved. Now, regarding this artifact, it will be your catalyst to summon the servant, rejoice for as you will once more be working with a Saber class servant, though you will only be able to summon once you land in Bucharest, Romania." Shirou grabbed the artifact and looked for a while, before giving it to Arturia. Her memory was immediately jolted, but she managed to compose herself without alerting attention. This could not be happening…not right now as she was able to move on from her troubled past.

"What is the Association's interest in the Grail?"

Waver nodded, seeing as this question would rise eventually. He was just glad that these two returned to politics, as he was not good at handling aggressive negotiations.

"Our main interest is to control, conceal and develop magecraft. As such, we always went against those who expose our world or even attempted to overrule our organization. The Grail is of no interest to us, but our goal is to stop others from using it in a way that could tamper with our way of life." Shirou then snorted at that, wondering why then that he was a target against the families. To this day, not once did he threatened the Assocation or even performed magic in public.

"You say that, but I gather that you do not speak on behalf of the families." Waver nodded, already enjoying this conversation.

"Indeed…but you would be representing the Association. After this war, any attack on you or your wife will be considered an attack against the Association."

"I am truly glad to hear that at least officially any attack on us will be considered an attack on the organization. However, these families rarely send their own for the dirty deed, so neither will ever attest to officially attacking us." Waver heard Arturia's statement and Shirou snorting in derision and could only nod at them as well with a knowing smile. They truly were a fun couple to be around…well, when neither of them tried to kill him that is.

"What can I say…politics, miss Arturia. You have 72 hours to summon your servant Emiya Shirou…the rest you can figure out on your own."

Shirou nodded, before the three of the Association got up to leave the house. As soon as Shirou closed the door and activated the bounded field outside once more, he turned to see the downtrodden look on his wife's face as she held the catalyst artifact. Arturia had that look many times when she was his servant in the last war and only because she believed at the time that she was not fit to be the king. The artifact she was holding then must have something to do with her history. So Shirou simply rested his hand on her shoulder before he saw her saddened golden eyes looking back at him.

"This shard belonged to the round table where me and my knights would gather in our meetings." Shirou released a sigh in dismay at that.

"So, the Saber servant will be one of the knights…" Arturia nodded, earning a calming hug from her husband.

"Shirou, what if you end up summoning her…" Shirou squeezed the hug tighter. He knew who his wife was afraid of. Summoning Mordred right now would be a slap in her face. Just when she made amends with her past and was finally able to move on, this comes knocking at her door. It was a nasty joke, indeed. However, he would be by her side all the time and even if they summon the Knight of Treachery, the Knight of Treachery would not recognize the grownup Arturia. Still, just by seeing her would be enough.

"Turia, I have no idea who am I going to summon. But whoever it is, I will be by your side the entire time."

The woman nodded and returned the kind embrace. They have their assignment to prepare for and right now is not the time to mellow with her past. Shirou and Arturia took the next day to arrange a couple of things. Their plane would leave the next morning, so Shirou needed to tell their friends and his sister about their so-called holiday. Of course, Taiga would gladly take care of their house while they were away. Shirou had then talked to Issei and even his chief of staff at the hospital. Arturia communicated Ayako that she and Shirou would travel around Europe, which earned a look of joy from her best friend. The former servant had to show happiness at being able to get back to her continent, so that Ayako would not see the pain in her eyes. Thankfully, all the girl said to her was to bring her a souvenir from the trip.

===Flight day===

According to the information on Waver's folder, Shirou and Arturia would take a private jet towards Bucharest.

They would have everything taken care of, including a car-rent and even a credit card for expenses throughout their trip abroad. It was the least he expected since he was doing the Association's work for them. Once they arrived, he would have to summon the servant and then meet with the other masters in a church. One thing that made Shirou surprised was the involvement of the Church in this mess. Normally, the church would only act in this war as overseer, but not as a master directly. His father told him bits and pieces of them and Shirou could not help but remember Kirei Kotomine.

Arturia later told him that in the fourth war, Kotomine was far from a simple priest, working his way around the war, threatening his father's wife Irisviel.

To believe that the Church would allow a man such as Kotomine to roam free like that told much about the workings of said organization.

In the end, they were no better than the Mage's Association.

The taxi picked them up and took them to Fuyuki's private airport where their jet was there waiting for them. From that point on, the flight to Bucharest served for the couple to gather their strategies for the war. Arturia had brought both her weapons for this, considering that they would be facing thirteen servants. Even if technically they would be allied with the red faction, there was no telling which side mission the members of the Association had. As such, they had to be prepared for anything. Shirou was making some adjustments to the magic crest he already placed on his right shoulder. While it was not complete, he was already able to store mana inside and was making good progress on it. He had all of his weapons inside the magic crest just waiting to be summoned with a call of its name.

Upon arriving in the city and renting their car, Shirou was surprised upon looking at his hand and seeing the command seals already in place.

He could also feel the powerful leyline that passed beneath this city, perhaps even stronger than the one in Fuyuki.

Which meant that the servants will be stronger this time around. But then again, so would he and his wife.

The road from the airport was devoid of any civilization, so they could choose a suitable spot close to the road for the summoning, at least a proper one this time. When he summoned Saber back then, it was an accident or at least he thought it was, because he did not even know what a servant was and was not even aware of the sealing array inside his shed. They had taken a small exit from the road and parked the car close to a deep forest. The crescent moon was up in the sky, failing to provide them with much light.

Shirou had quickly worked a bounded field around them as well as the artifact so that no one would try to tamper with the summoning.

Arturia was now dressed to fight, with Shirou's projected armor around her glistening long blue dress with yellow stripes. Both her weapons were on her, Excalibur strapped on her waist and Rhongomyniad sytrapped on her back. Both weapons were hidden by an air current, Arturia's element. Shirou's outfit was composed of black tight and sleeveless shirt with silver accents which outlined his trained muscles. He also wore black pants that had two black straps on his thighs and another two straps strapped around his shins separate from each other. Shirou's magic crest located on his right shoulder glistened in the dark. His outfit completed by dark red boots and a black longbow strapped on his back.

To Arturia, her husband looked now exactly like Archer but without the red overcoat. Aside from the resemblance, though, her husband was taking this seriously.

He placed the artifact in the middle of a sealing array of his own making. Looking at his wife behind him, he could see her nodding at him to go forward with the summoning.

Her resolve in this triumphed over her fear of whoever would emerge from the sealing array.

If indeed Mordred appeared before them, then Arturia would have to work with her so that both of them could protect her husband and also win this war, not for the sake of winning, but to be able to destroy the Grail once more. Shirou, for his chance, took a step forward and extended his hand, initiating the enchantment. Focusing his mana on the artifact was paramount to make the connection with his future servant. And just like Shirou was doing this, the members of the Black Faction, Yggdmillienia, were doing the same in their own castle.

For the elements, silver and iron.

For the foundation, stone and archduke of pacts.

The color I bestow is red

Raise a wall for the wind that shall fail

Close the gate of the four directions

Come forth from the crown and follow the forked road leading to the Kingdom.

Heed my words. My will creates your body and your sword creates my destiny.

If you heed the Grail's call and obey and my will and reason, then answer me

I hereby swear that I shall be all the good in the world…That I shall defeat evil in the world.

Thou Seventh Heaven clad in three great words of power, come forth from the circle of binding, Guardian of the Scales.

As Shirou proceeded with the enchantment, the sealing array glowed in red and the energy surrounding the summon caused ripples of wind around them. When he finished the enchantment, a dark red beam climbed towards the sky, before a knight appeared kneeling at him. Arturia looked at the kneeling knight in front of them and chocked. She was expecting to see a person wearing a silvery glistening armor with a helmet composed of two dark horns. But instead, she saw a man wearing a glistening white armor with six blue tassels attached to the back of his armor and golden cross-shaped pendants. This man had light purple eyes and spiked hair of the same color. While she remembered his hair to be longer, his appearance was unmistakable as Lancelot looked up from his kneeling position.

The man's sword Arondight firmly strapped inside its scabbard on his waist.

Right now, a part of her silently wished that Mordred appeared instead of him as she remembered the parting words of the Berserker servant in the Forth Grail War.

'I could not stop myself from loving Guinevere, so I was never able to forgive myself. However, King Arthur, you have never questioned me for my crimes. You never sought recompense. You simply continued to stand before us in your righteousness. But…I desired judgement at your hands. Had your anger judged me, I might not have fallen onto the path of madness in my search for atonement. But I can say this much with certainty King Arthur. You were the greatest among all kings. All who served you…felt the same way.'

She remembered herself back then going back to the hill in the battle of Camlann and screamed to the heavens in tears, asking him for forgiveness.

Servants normally were heroic spirits and thus do not possess memory of the events in the war. She was the exception to the rule since she offered her service as a servant before actually being killed. Despite everything, she knew that Shirou could not have a stronger knight as his servant. The man in question looked up and spoke with a deep and commanding voice, befitting of a knight of the round table.

"I am Lancelot, one of the knights in service of the great King Arthur. I thus ask…are you my master?"

Shirou for his part bowed in respect at the man, much to his own confusion and Arturia's smile at her husband for his noble treatment to a fellow knight.

"My name is Emiya Shirou and it is an honor to fight alongside a legend such as yourself Sir Lancelot. May I be a master worthy of your respect."

Author Note: Well, I do know that some of my readers were keen of seeing Mordred and how her relationship would be like. However, after seeing Mordred in Fate Aprocrypha (Netflix version), while I saw some nice aspects of her character, It failed to show me the same feeling I had with Lancelot from Fate Zero. In my opinion and based on the research, Lancelot's story had more meaning to Arturia's downfall than Mordred. After all, it was Lancelot's secret affair with Guinevere that began the kingdom's downfall.

Mordred was the one who finished, but it all began with Lancelot.

So, I had decided to replaced him as Shirou's Saber of Red. Plus, I also enjoy a good fighting sequence and Mordred's fighting style is quite unappeling for someone in the Saber class. Though some will argue that Lancelot was best as Berserker, fell free to watch the scene in Fate Zero when Gilgamesh attempted to strike Lancelot, but failed. The knight of the lake then used his own skill to skilfully dodge the incoming strikes using Gilgamesh's own swords agaisnt him. Now, about Arturia and Shirou's clothes, I have placed in my profile a path for the readers to see how she looked now and with her armor. Shirou's clothings is like Archer but without the red overcoat.

Fell free to tell me your thoughts, including what you think about me starting another story. Should I finish this one first or start the other right away.

I could write a chapter per week, then updating each story twice a month. So, I will decide depending on the amount of reviews about this question.
