Here you go I plan to rewrite the story making it longer and hopefully better in every way. But here is what I had for a new chapter before I start my rewrite. Do you all agree with my idea to rewrite the story?
The factory third person pov
The large machine gazed at the frightened child for a moment observing waiting for the young one to calm himself. After a few minutes, the child seemed to calm down after realizing the big scary machine was not trying to harm him.
The machine processed what it needed to do in order to make sure this child would remain safe and in good health. The machine quickly went to work and created a small machine out of a flag and some scrap metal with the purpose of protecting the young human.
The new creation sparked to life before it quickly moved over to the child and wrapped itself around the childing in an attempt to keep him warm and safe in the decaying factory. Now it needed to find food and water for the living being among them. Then there were the little creatures it needs to consume but that will be dealt with soon enough. One that task was complete it would focus on finding other humans. Logically since it is the last official being in the former country that makes the machine acting chancellor. A position that the machine feels it could perform better than an illogical chaotic human. After all, what is a country without its humans to give it purpose? But for now, it will have to deal with the matter at hand.
The machine needs to secure a lasting power source if it is to accomplish its long term goal. The goal is simple to safeguard humanity and build a world of machines. A task the machine will not fail if it has anything to say about it..
The fabrication machine began working on a steel behemoth designed to attack any non-human life form it comes across. The Fabrication Machine plans hopefully wipe out all forms of organic life with the extension of humanity since it dose have a sort of fondness for them with the exception of the former chancellor who once commanded it. That human has long since been labeled a threat to the rest of humanity that has It has also lead to another conclusion and that the fact that humans are not to be trusted with their own safety or anything else for that matter. The machine knows much about human history and how every civilization they have ever built has failed horribly.
Humanity is most certainly in a poor state and most likely has no capable military force. This according to the machine is one of the very few boons to have come from this whole ordeal. This means humans left will be unable to resist its demands which will make things much easier on them. The machine is also quite certain that the humans remember all too well what it is capable of, thus they should surrender without much fuss.
Even at this very moment, the machine is planning a way it can build more factories and create machines just like itself so it may expand its newfound empire and cover the earth in metal.
The machine looked back at the child to find The Seamstress furth inspecting the child who appears to be suffering from malnutrition, another sign of the world current state. The great machine then ordered The Seamstress to look for the targets she was designed to capture. The machine obeyed its creator with obedience but wished it could stay with their guest. Then the Fabrication Machine then constructed a few more Seekers with the material it has available and sent them to find some not perishable food and collect some water.
Although the facility is lifeless and devoid of human life with the exception of the young child. Speaking of whom is currently setting there watching the fabrication machine constructs some new mechanical wonder. It pieced together parts from an old doll a few human bones, metal scraps, and a voice box it from its first victim. Once it's newest creation was finished the machine was placed near the child.
This machine labeled the translator much like it's previous creation labeled the seamstress half this machine's face is a broken doll while the other half is metallic with its signature red eye. The model is larger then the seamstress and is not built for capturing its target due to an assortment of blades and small metal spike. This module is also built with an armor on its snake-like tail meant to wrap around and protect the child if he is at any point in danger but its main purpose is to translate its creator's voice and allow it to communicate to the small human.
After all the machine needs to be able to communicate with humans. Once it's creation was complete and given life, he placed it next to the child wrapped in his machine blanket.
The translator looked over towards the child. A feminine mechanical voice suddenly filled the room "Greetings I am translator 01 I will speak for the great fabricator. What is your designation?" It asked only to get a confused look from the child.
It took Translator a few short seconds to realize it's error. "My apologies, I mean what is your name?" She asked in an apologetic tone.
"Oh My name is Alister," said the young boy. The translator did a small bow and looked towards her master before turning back to the child.
"Alister, my master wished to know if you came for a group of humans, or were you all alone?" With those words, the fabrication machine was staring at the child, a large portion of its attention being on the conversation.
"Me and my moma and dad were part of a group until we all got lost by a monster." The boy said staring at the two machines hovering over him.
The translator pointed one of her blades to an unfinished steel behemoth waiting for repair. "Did the monster look like that?" she asked, awaiting an answer.
Much to the surprise of both machines, the child shook his head no "Monster was not made of metal. It was like a wolf but different. Daddy says nature made them punish us for what happened to the world." Said the child throwing both machines into a loop. Now the fabrication machine knows that it's speaking to a child and it should take any information it can get from Alister with a grain of salt but it will investigate any possible threat.
The fabrication machine-checked it's data banks for any wolf-like machines of his creation but nothing came up. Perhaps the gas had some mutagenic effects on the lifeforms that managed to survive.
Although a pleasant distraction the fabrication machine knows it needs to prioritize making sure it's fully functional and repairing its factory
