Hey guys, How has everything been since the last update? I know, it's been forever since I last updated, but I am in my senior year of high school and I have seriously been writing forty minutes to an hour EVERY SINGLE DAY in school! So, when I got home, the thought of writing actually nauseated me. So I stopped writing for a while. I'm not writing so much now as my classes changed, so I thought I would update for my eighteenth birthday, as an official goodbye to my childhood…:(
Disclaimer: I don't own the percy jackson series!
Song I'm listening to right now: 'Come Unto Christ' mutual theme song(I'm singing this for my church on wednesday so I'm listening to it repeatedly. Update: Yeah, this was a note from last year, so quite a while ago...).

Chapter 11
Narrator's(my) P.O.V.

Deep under the Amazon Headquarters the girls ran around, training, eating, or ordering their slaves about. The only male in the whole basement that was not chained and being ordered about, was a teenage boy alone in a training room. The usually kind Seventh Guardian was anything but that. Swinging viciously at the training dummies, an expression of controlled anger and frustration plastered on his face, as he quickly stabbed a dummy through the heart and thought back on the events from this morning.

~~~~~~Flashback starts~~~~~~
As Kiani made his way into the cafeteria, he mentally sighed as the room fell silent, all eyes falling to him, all holding glares of disgust in them. After a while of being here, he's come to learn how to ignore the looks, but really. He knew he was a male, something they all really hated; but did it have to be every time he walked into a room? He wasn't causing any problems or situations, in fact, he was actually helping them repair, but that seemed to count for nothing here, the fact of his gender overriding anything he did. Yes, he knew men on this world were pretty horrible, but he wasn't from this world; he was from the planet of Soraya which is a planet consisting of many royal kingdoms and families; there, men and women were taught to be honorable, honest, and kind; but, unlike the victorian times on Earth, woman were always seen as powerful and equal, able to rule aside men, both alone and united. It was a sin to be so disrespectful to a woman or a man just because of their gender.
Because of that, Kiani was raised to be respectful to women; men and women that weren't respectable to the other gender, were exiled from the land as to keep distrust and contention out of the kingdoms on Soraya and promote equality and progressiveness even more. To be on a planet with genders so separated was incredibly foreign to Kiani; when he first heard of Earth's past history and the fact that, even now, women were fighting for their rights to be equal to men's he was shocked. But, seeing how groups like the hunters and the Amazons treated men were just as worse. Relationships between the genders were just climbing in the mortal world and being brought closer; but to see such distrust in the mythological world, Kiani idly wondered if perhaps, maybe for once, the mortals of the world were being smarter than the world of myth. He wondered how each side would react if they had to spend a day on his planet.
He remembered when he had first told Corina and Percy what his planet was like and how shocked they had been as relationships were so different between Earth and Soraya, despite the various similarities. Honestly, he was growing tired of the Amazonians attitude; they spoke of how their goal was to make men and women equal, yet they despised the male gender and looked down on them. How was this going to help them achieve their goal of equality? Sighing deeply, Kiani went to the counter leading to his food. It wasn't really a counter honestly. It was a small, shabby table with a rusty and broken chair pushed up next to it. On the wrecked and uneven table sat a small tray and cup. In the cup was some water, warm presumably because the girls seem to think he loved drinking warm water(A/N: I really hate drinking warm water so I couldn't help but put that in here…), as well as a plate of watery mashed potatoes, slimy green beans, a dry and flaky turkey slice, and a moldy piece of bread. Joy, my favorite meal, prepared in my favorite way...He thought sarcastically. Walking over, staring straight ahead to ignore the stares, he held his head high.
Sitting down, he took a deep breath before starting to eat his dinner, determined not to let them see an ounce of weakness in him. The urge to throw up is a constant push from the back of his mind, but he exercises his control and finishes all his food, in case they claim leftover food as him being ungrateful for the 'services' they provide for him. Standing up with his empty cup and plate, he walked towards the kitchen. Knocking and waiting a few seconds, he pushed the door open, only for a container of soapy dishwater to get splashed all over his face and his clothes. The room was filled with laughter, taunting and teasing him. Prepared though as he had felt the pride of the Amazonian holding the bucket swell beyond the door right before he opened it, he looked up, meeting her look of anger.
"Watch where you are going slave!" She growled. It obviously wasn't his fault, but Kiani knew that fact wouldn't be accounted in this. Meeting her eyes, he smiled apologetically.
"I apologize for opening the door too soon, I should have waited longer or knocked again to make sure my knock would be heard." He apologized. The room fell silent at that, the expression of the girl in front of him darkening in frustration, "If it is alright with you, I wish to make up for my mistake by cleaning up the floor here." He proposed. Shock appeared on the girl's face at his request. Recovering though, her glare returned.
"It's the least you can do boy for being such an idiot!" She exclaimed, shoving against his shoulder as she walked past him. Walking through the kitchen doors, knocking twice this time to show the girls that he meant his words, before walking in. Quickly washing and drying his own plate and cup as he did every day, he put it in a separate cupboard from the girls' cupboards. Grabbing the mop and bucket, he walked to the doors and held them open with door stoppers as to clean up all the water. For the next twenty minutes, amidst laughs and muttered insults, Kiani cleaned up the floor, quickly putting back the mop and bucket. Sighing in relief when he is done, he hurries out of the cafeteria, trying as much as he could to ignore the jests and taunts of the Amazon's around him.
Closing the door behind him, he swiftly looks down both ways of the hallways and, seeing no one coming, turns right and bolts down it, intent on reaching his destination. Finally getting to the room, he rushes in and closes the door, locking it behind him. Leaning against it, he breathes heavily, leaning his head against the door behind him as he clenches his eyes shut. Turning so fast that it was just a blur to any eyes that saw, he punches the wall, easily puncturing it as if it was made of water. Leaning against the wall, face meeting white, he shakes as he stands there.
After a second, he pushes off from it and strides towards the middle of the room, pulling out his sword swiftly as he went. Stopping at the middle, he lifts his sword and immediately swings through the wooden figure, causing it to splinter into shards of wood. Quickly using the basic powers given to all Chaos' warriors, he conjures up fifty more wooden figures and goes to work. Slash after slash, stab after stab, he was determined to release the emotions surging through him right now.
~~~~~~End of Flashback~~~~~~

And that brought him to now. After thirty minutes of constant destruction and magicking up more dummy's, Kiani stopped, dropping his sword to the ground as his arm went limp. His knees soon followed after as they fell to the floor, Kiani bending his head to rest it on his knees. Mentally reprimanding himself for what he had just done, Kiani took a deep breath before sitting up on his calves, eyes still closed.

Reaching his hands down to the ground, he slowed his breathing, focusing on only that as, each breath out, he let little by little of the emotions consuming him out.

Being a Guardian of the Seven Deadly Sins was quite the toll at times; because of his domain's, he could feel the certain sins that affected each person and, though he had much practice to controlling them through the centuries in the army, the constant build up from the Amazon's caused Kiani to fight against it every second and, sometimes, he couldn't hold them back anymore and they surged into him just like they did. That was why he bolted to this room; he was going to explode, he knew he was, and he wouldn't let the Amazon's see that as their hatred for him would just go as would the emotions that affected him so much.

Sometimes, though, he wished they could feel their own cruelty and prejudice towards one another. His head snapped up as his thoughts paused at that idea. Could I..? He wondered to himself before shaking his head furiously. Of course not, that would not be the right way to use my powers! Sighing he started to brush the thought away when a new voice came unannounced into his mind, Is it really Kiani? Freezing, Kiani easily recognized the voice. Lord Chaos? Kiani, I know you feel that such use of your powers would be selfish, but you were given these powers for a reason. Do you remember what you swore to me when I first asked you to join this army? At Chaos' words, Kiani's mind immediately went back to the memory that had resurfaced after so long.

~~~~~~Flashback starts~~~~~~
2,342 years ago on the planet of Soraya
It was midday in the town of Renul, known as the marketplace of Soraya. Despite it's reputation, the streets were empty, not a soul in sight. Each house was silent as the streets were. But out of the town, a few miles away, was where everyone was gathered. Row upon row of seats were filled with every person that had disappeared from the city. The open field was filled to the brim, all heads bowed down in silence. At the front of the arrangement of seats, stood the queen, whose soothing voice echoed across the field.
"Citizens of Renul...We are gathered here today to mourn the passing of our beloved Kimodo's." Her voice was full of grief as she looked out at the crowd, eyes watering, "They have protected us, been our soldiers, for centuries through each generation of their families. As we all know, last week they were suddenly and brutally mu-" She choked up here, a tear falling. Composing herself, she took a deep breath and continued, "Brutally murdered by an unknown group. The murder was uncalled for and unprovoked. The Kimodo's were a peaceful group, training only to protect us when danger came. They had given no offense as to provide them the cost of being killed."
"We will miss them dearly and will always feel their loss. But, we will not forget them. They have sacrificed so much to protect our country and we will not let their deaths go in vain. We plan to create another Kimodo group soon, but for now we will respect the lost by leaving their group untouched. Rest in peace, soldiers of the Kimodo- you can finally rest, you are finally free and we will always be grateful for the prices you paid to keep our country alive." With that, the queen bowed her head and stepped back from the podium. Turning to look at the crowd, her eyes met the heartbroken eyes of the last surviving Kimodo warrior. The seventeen year old boy sat in the front row and had stared at the ground throughout the ceremony, holding back tears as much as he could. As the Queen nodded her head, the boy stood and walked to the front row of the seventy three coffins.
Out in the front, away from the main group, lay two coffins, side by side. In those wooden beds, lay the two bodies of the Kimodo leaders. Stopping in front of the two coffins, the boy stared silently, glancing slowly from one to the other. He blinked repeatedly as if he couldn't believe his eyes. This couldn't be; he couldn't be the last one. He was supposed to learn from them, his eighteenth birthday was when he was to become an official Kimodo warrior. He had waited all his life for that moment and now, in one moment, it was snatched away from him. Stepping closer to the two resting places, he rested one hand on each. A single tear fell against his will as he couldn't hold back the grief and pain he felt. Staring at one, he whispered:
"...Mom…" Looking to the other, he spoke again, "...Dad…" A child left all alone, a child who had never for a moment in his life had the thought cross his mind that he could become an orphan. His parents were the best fighters he had ever come across- that was why they were the leaders of the Kimodo. It was tradition for the Kimodo that, when the two leaders passed, the group would do a vote to choose the top competitors. The competitors would go into an arena and fight to win the top spot. One spot was for a man and the other was for a woman. Usually they would get married- that had happened with his parents. The former two leaders had passed when they were in their twenties and, after the men battled and the women battled, the winner from each group became the female or male leader. From what he had heard, his parents had easily beaten their opponents; they were known as some of the best warriors in all of Kimodo history. So how could they so quickly and so easily be killed? Why couldn't he have been there? He knew, deep down, he couldn't help much- if all those warriors were killed, what could he have done?
But he had been in the city and while his family and friends were being slaughtered, he was visiting a friend in the city. Did it save his life, or did it keep him from saying goodbye to the people who had raised him? Clearing his thoughts of all the questions, he took a deep breath and stood up straight. Looking out at the coffins that held the people who had taught and raised him, he composed himself before turning and walking back, refusing to meet anyone's gaze. He did not want pity. Sitting back in his seat, he remained there as everyone took his actions as the signal to stand and walk down each row of coffins, saying their last goodbyes to the people they had known personally in the Kimodo.
After two hours, the field was cleared of citizens, only the graveyard workers and volunteers who would lower every coffin into the ground stayed. He stayed, looking out as the coffins were lowered into the ground and shovel by shovel, covered by the dirt as prayers were sent to Chaos for them to rest and be happy in the afterlife. His eyes were on his parents coffin as the last bit of the dirt pile was placed on each grave. He was pulled from that as someone sat next to him. Turning to look, he bowed his head.
"Your Majesty…" He politely stated as was custom, but his tone was distant; his mind somewhere else.
"Please Kiani, there is no need for formality." Her voice was soft, her eyebrows furrowed as her eyes shined with understanding. Kiani looked back at the ground at that, "I know you probably don't want pity right now, but I am so sorry for your loss. You never expected this to happen; none of us did." She leaned forward, trying to meet his gaze as he was still staring at the ground, "I want you to know that I am here for you, Kiani. The whole city, the whole country is here to help you move on. If you ever need help, come to me and I will never hesitate to help you. Ok?" After a second, Kiani slowly nodded, "I'll leave you alone to think now." Standing up, she rested her hand on his shoulder before turning and leaving the field.
A few minutes after the queen left, Kiani stood and started down the first aisle of the newly buried graves, reading every gravestone he passed and remembering every memory he had with each person, saying goodbye to each. He has known each of these people his whole life. They were his friends, 'aunts', 'uncles', 'little siblings'; you name it. And, now, they were all gone and he was all alone. Only he would live on, fully knowing the lifestyle of the Kimodo's- no one else had lived with them like he had. He couldn't imagine a life without living at the camp with them; without hearing the pranks, laughter, voices, and love of the people who knew him more than anyone. But, now they were all gone, in a blink of an eye- and for no reason! Kiani suddenly stopped mid step at that thought. No, he wouldn't let it! The person who killed his family, would pay for their actions! Spinning in place, he marched out of the graveyard, a new goal in mind. He will track them down and make them pay for destroying his family like that. They missed one Kimodo, and they will learn to regret that mistake: He would make sure of it…
~~~~~~Six months later~~~~~~

Kiani rubbed his arms quickly, shivering from the breeze that blew down the alley he hid in. Now seventeen and a half, Kiani had spent the last half year searching every second he could for the people who killed his family. The night after the funeral, he had snuck away with a bag full of clothes, necessities, survival items just in case he couldn't find a hotel or something, and the possessions he couldn't bare to part with. He had lived in the woods most of his life, being trained as a hunter for his future with the Kimodo. Now, that training would come in handy for finding the people who murdered his family. Since then, he had hitchhiked and snuck into every town surrounding the capital of Renul. He snuck around the less popular places of each town, eavesdropping on any conversation he could get close enough to hear without being found.

He was confident in his abilities; the wise Greela of the Kimodo's used to say that he had inherited his stealth from his father's side of the family who were always the best spies and assassins. As for his strategy and mind, she said he had gained that from his mother's side- they were always the strategist and planners of the group(and could defeat any person who figured that it meant they weren't as good at fighting as the others). But no matter what city he searched in his kingdom of Hithia, he found no rebel groups that wished to take control of the government by eliminating the Kimodo group, effectively sending the country into chaos(the word, not the god).

Adding to that, was the fact that the country was finally recovered from the blindside that was the death of the brave Kimodo warriors and, while they were blinded, no such enemy came to take the throne from the queen. So Kiani turned his sights to that other kingdoms on the planet. There were many different kingdoms located on Soraya, but only about five of them had the power to take control of Hithia. So he quickly ran(sometimes hiding in the back of a cart as well) to the nearest Kingdom to Hithia: Murthor. Murthor had never been enemies with Hithia. They were allies, but distant as Murthor was more focused on fishing and trading with the other kingdom nearest them, Kuyian. Hithia was more on travel then fishing so, other than trading food with one another, they never came to heads with one another as they were both pretty peaceful kingdom's.

But Kiani needed to search all his options as sometimes the most unlikely people were the actual enemies. After scouring around the darkest places of Murthor, he became frustrated as, once again, he came up with nothing. No rebel forces, no secret armies orchestrated by the king or not, no jokes about the Kimodo's dying. Strangely enough, it was as if the Kimodo's dying was not news. Becoming suspicious, he decided to forego the secretive nature in what he had been doing the past few months and get direct answers to his new suspicions. Three days after these suspicions came to him, he dressed in the clothes that would make him less noticeable. It was midday when he had went into a store that sold anything made of glass-vases, chess boards, figurines, etc. Looking around casually as if he was browsing(though he was actually waiting for the store to clear out so he and the store clerk would be alone). He stopped suddenly though, recognizing one glass figurine. His blood stilled as he stared at the precious glass structure in the display case. He was so focused on it, that he didn't even notice that the store had finally emptied and that the store clerk had noticed him and came to stand by him.

"A beautiful peace is it not?" A deep voice questioned, startling Kiani. Kiani didn't tear his eyes from the figurine. Etched into the glass piece were two figures, standing in fighting stances. There was a man and a woman; the man was leaning on his right side, holding a sword in his right hand, staring intently to the right. The woman was standing slightly in front of the man leaning to her left, a knife in each hand. They were so in tune with one another, ready to fight whichever enemy they were facing and easily defeat them. The detail in each centimeter of the glass was astonishing and must have taken hours and lots of care and patience to finish. After all, his parents were not the easiest people to etch a sculpture of, especially together. Taking a deep breath and swallowing, he nodded.

"Yes, it is." His voice was but a whisper, catching the store owner's attention. He glanced at the obvious teen in front of him- though the boy had a cloak and hood on and he couldn't see the boy's face, he could see it in the way he stood and the way he spoke.

"Have you ever met them?" Kiani chuckled softly and nodded.

"One or twice." He smirked, a hint of an inside joke to his voice. Catching the tone, the store clerk analyzed him even more. Filing it in his mind, he continued.

"I only saw them twice, but both times are etched into my mind. One was during the battle of Dreana where they alone took on half the army and one." Oh yes the battle of Dreana; it was just after they had become the leaders of the Kimodo and, though Kiani was not born at the time, he had heard the tales of it his whole life, "That battle was the inspiration for this piece. As for the second memory, it was about ten years later and I was visiting Renul. I was trading some of my figurines with a brother of mine that lives there as we both own similar business and, before I left, he asked if I wanted to accompany him to the Kimodo's camp for him to do a glass figuring of the wise women Greela," A pang hit Kiani's heart at that name; he had never known either of his grandparent's as they had passed before he was born, but Greela had always been like a grandmother to him. Now she was gone…

"I, of course, agreed as I couldn't wait to see the legendary leaders again and maybe do another piece." He added, grinning at the memory, "You can imagine how surprised I was when I arrived and, upon meeting the two leaders, realized that they had married and had a son." Kiani stilled at that, not expecting himself to be brought into the story, "As my brother went to draw a picture of Greela for the figurine, I stayed back and watched the two parents play with their three year old son. The nature they held was so different from the nature I saw in the battle just a few years before, but it was just as powerful." He voice was soft here. Kiani looked away from the figurine for a second and noticed from the corner of his eyes that the store clerk was staring at the wall across from them, eyes lost in the memory as he spoke.

"I was so touched by the beautiful scene- I had never married and so I never had the chance of having a child, but in that moment, I regretted it more than I ever had. Because the love I saw in those two parents eyes, was something that I will always desire to feel myself. I was so impressed with such a scene, that I quickly sat down and started to draw the scene that I was watching act out in front of me." He laughed softly here, a soft smile on his lips, "I don't think I had ever drawn as quickly and as good as I had then. When I was done, my brother came back and said that he was finished and that it was time to go. I couldn't get the idea of that drawing out of my mind though, so I gathered the courage to go up to the two leaders." He chuckled here, rolling his eyes.

"I stuttered through my whole question of making a figurine of the drawing, but I eventually got it out. When I showed them the drawing, they smiled at me with some of the brightest smiles I had ever seen and quickly agreed. After that, I went home and…" He walked a little farther down the display case before stopping, "Made this." Following where he was pointing, a breath escaped Kiani at the sight. Right in front of his gaze were his two parents, sitting side by side, and right in their laps was a three year old Kiani, grinning and squirming about.

His parents smiles were soft as they stared down at him, watching fondly as he struggled to get out of their grasp and run around. A slight breeze blew at Kiani as he slightly noticed that a customer had entered sending a breeze towards him. His face was cold for some reason and, as he looked down at the glass display case, he saw that he had started crying while listening to the store clerk's story. He didn't move to wipe them away, too busy staring at the precious scene in front of him.

"They were quite the family to watch. You could see the love they had for their son. Out of the two figurines this is my favorite as I was, somehow, able to capture some of that love in this figurine." The store clerk commented, not noticing the effect his story had on Kiani.

"Yeah...they were great parents-the best." His voice was hoarse as he tried to speak around the lump in his throat, eyes shifting from his mother's, to his dad's, to his own. They had never changed much in the past fourteen years since he was three. He hadn't changed much in the face either; he used to complain about it when he was younger and still had the same face while his friends were changing a lot more. But now, he was grateful for that fact.

"I always hope that I can go back one day and carve another figurine of them. Maybe one of their son during his Kimodo ceremony when he turns eighteen. I'm pretty sure that's soon…" The store clerk trailed off, thinking back over the years to see how old the boy would be now. Kiani smiled sadly, chuckling a little.

"I'm guessing you didn't hear the news then…" Despite his smile, his voice was full of pain and sorrow, which immediately caught the store clerk's interest, "Not surprised Hithians were never much into informing the other kingdom's when something happened."

"So you are from Hithia? Wait, what news?" He wondered. Kiani didn't want to say it, but it was about time he spoke of it out loud.

"Six months ago, an enemy came into the kingdom of Hithia. We don't know who it was or why they were there as it was so sudden. But they-" His voice cracked here. Taking a deep breath, he continued, "They attacked the Kimodo's. In the battle, the enemies were too strong and had the advantage; every Kimodo was killed." He voice broke on the last word, tears falling in streams. The store clerk froze at what he just heard, shaking his head.

"No, it can't be...T-They are all dead?" The store clerk asked, voice full of grief. Kiani took a deep breath, before shaking his head, confusing the clerk.

"No...one more lives on…" He voice was but a whisper, but the store was quiet now as the customer who had come in with the breeze had left quickly after just browsing.

"W-Who?" The store clerk inquired, staring at the ground. Kiani sighed, before reaching up and pulling off his hood, looking over at the store owner, hoping he would make the connection. The store clerk looked confused. Scrutinizing Kiani's face, he tried to figure out what was so familiar about it before he suddenly stilled. Turning to look at the figurine of the three part family, his gaze rested on the three year old son.

"You're Kiani…" His whisper was one of complete shock. Kiani nodded, "So everyone…" He trailed off, looking at Kiani in pity. Usually Kiani hated pity, but right now he was too lost in his thoughts and emotions to mind.

"Yes, everyone. Greela, Hyther, Jormain, Frela, Leoni, Gruti- every single one of the Kimodo's are deceased and buried." He stated. Taking a breath, he looked at the store clerk, "You were close with the soon though, I was to turn eighteen and join the Kimodo in six months. Guess that ceremony won't happen though, huh?" He stated in a joking tone, but it was half-hearted; an attempt to ignore the grief and pain he felt.

"What brings you here to this kingdom?" The store clerk wondered in concern.

"To be honest, I am looking through every kingdom for any rumors that point to finding the murderer of my family. I won't stop until they face justice." Kiani stood up straight for a second, pulling his hood back up, "I should go." And with that, he strode towards the door.

"Wait!" The store clerk called out, making Kiani freeze. Kiani turned to face him and froze at what he saw the store clerk was carrying: the two figurines with his parents and him, "Here. Take them." He laced them on a display case and pulled out a bag, filled with blankets as to not break the figurines. Kiani shook his head.

"No, I couldn't." He stated.

"Please; you deserve to have them." The store clerk pleaded, handing the bag with the figurines to Kiani. Kiani was hesitant, but he knew he wanted them desperately to remember his parents. So, nodding, he looped the bag over his shoulder.

"Thank you…" He whispered to the clerk and, with a nod form him, he left the store.

After that, Kiani went to every single kingdom he saw as having the power to kill the Kimodo to take over Hithia. But time and time again, he came up with nothing: there were no rebel groups. He wasn't even sure now that the people who murdered his family were even on the planet! So now, he was back in Hithia and had taken refuge in an alleyway, not having the courage to visit the queen and apologize for being gone for so long. But he didn't want to face the future; he didn't want to realize that he may never find the people who killed his family.

"Maybe you can Kiani…" Kiani froze at the voice that sounded near him. Jumping up, pulling out his mother's knives that he couldn't bear to part with when he left on his quest, he got into a fighting stance, glaring that the figure that had spoke. The figure smiled and Kiani stilled, recognizing him from the many statues they had built all around Hithia and the other kingdoms: This was Lord Chaos. Dropping his arms from their fighting stance, he sheathed the knives before bowing down in respect. Chaos smiled, "Please Kiani, there is no need to bow to me. I am here to ask something of you." Kiani stood up, looking at Chaos in disbelief and awe.

"Anything, my lord." He quickly stated.

"I started an army about two millennium ago, but I have yet to successfully get it off the ground, so to speak. I chose a leader that I am confident is perfect for the job, but I need a second leader. I have seven groups to the army, and my leader Juliana is in charge of one group, but over time I will choose leaders for the other six groups. I believe you would be the best leader for one of my groups. But I must warn you, you will have to leave this planet. You will become immortal and, as your friends pass on, you will stay alive, guiding my army." He warned, "But, if you leave, I will bring this planet under the protection of my army and watch over it. You can visit anytime you want and be the main delegate of my army to it. Do you accept?" Chaos held his hand out to Kiani. Kiani thought back; what did he have going for him in the future? The Kimodo was gone and he didn't think he couldn't ever start it back up. But, maybe he can help another group, another army, grow. So, with a smile, he grasped Chaos' hand.

"I accept."

~~~~~~On the planet Moaverra- after Kiani's induction~~~~~~
Kiani stood there, staring at his new clothes and feeling his newly acquired powers swirling through his body.
"It's a strange feelings isn't it?" Hearing Chaos' voice, Kiani looked up, nodding. Looking outside the open doors, seeing all the army members walking around Kiani took a deep shaky breath, "Kiani?" Turning his head, Kiani tried to ignore the new responsibility that rested on his shoulders.
"Yeah?"
"I know this is a lot to take in and I know you are still in a lot of pain from the loss you have went through. But, can I ask you something? Something that I hope you can promise to listen to?" Chaos questioned seriously. Kiani turned to completely face Chaos here- the leader having his full attention.
"Of course Chaos." Kiani quickly agreed. Chaos reached over at that, resting his hands on his new guardian's shoulder.
"I want you to see this army as your new family; as your second chance. If you ever feel yourself getting caught up in the past, or find yourself seemingly alone and lost, I need you to press on- to look that new challenge in the eyes and, no matter how different it may seem or impossible, I want you to change it. Never get caught up in something that others may say about you- I need for you to summon your courage and show the people of this universe that there is still one Original Kimodo warrior alive who, even though his life is different now, will always remember his culture and stand up to anyone who doubts him." Chaos instructed. Kiani was silent for a while before he squared his shoulders and nodded his head.
"I will, Lord Chaos."
~~~~~~End of Flashback~~~~~~

After that, I went into the Army and met Juliana. I visited Soraya frequently after that, to inform the Queen of who was protecting the planet now, where I had been since the funeral, and that I would always be there to help. Over the next few decades, the people I had known passed away while I stayed the same. A few years after the funeral, a new Kimodo group was created- I occasionally went to help or teach then, but mostly stayed with the army. It was sad to never change or get too close to them if they would soon die, but I made a family with the army. Over the next few centuries, it grew and grew as more soldiers joined and, slowly, the seven guardians were formed. Thinking back on his past, Kiani figured that the reason he was so affected by the Amazon's was that they reminded him of his family. When he blended into the background or at lunch when he looked around, he saw the friendships and camaraderie between them-they were their own family. It was such a flashback to his childhood; the army was great, but he miss the small group that acted like a family. He just wished that they would let go of their prejudice and accept him in. Sighing, Kiani stood, snapping his fingers to clean the room, before leaving room, he had promised Sophie he would talk to her today.

Song I'm listening to right now: 'Lead Me Home' by Philip Wesley(I've been listening to him for the whole Kiani flashback scene and it definitely helped me feel and write the right emotions).

Yes; I am finally done with this chapter after so long! I have only had up to the cafeteria scene for months, but I sat down today and was determined to finish it as a birthday gift from me to you so here it is. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and getting to know Kiani more; I had a completely different direction for this chapter- well, not completely different, but different way to go about things, but I kept getting little thoughts of what to do and I followed those, making this chapter. Hopefully I will update again soon, but you never know what will happen in senior year! Well, bye!
