"Hey, August, it's time to wake up little guy." Rainbow told him and lightly rubbed him with a hoof.
August started to slowly open his eyes and look at his surroundings. He noticed that he was still being held by Rainbow Dash.
"H-hi Ms. Rainbow." August told them with his small voice.
Rainbow smiled at the tiny child, "You don't have to call me miss, little guy, just call me Rainbow." She told him with a wink, "We're almost at Sugarcube Corner, where Pinkie Pie lives. We're gonna re introduce you to her."
August nodded and snuggled back into her. Everyone, including Rainbow, awed at that. Despite being so different from them, he somehow found a way to be absolutely adorable to them. His size didn't really help him be any less adorable.
"He may be the cutest lil critter I've ever seen." Applejack whispered to Fluttershy.
Fluttershy lightly smiled and nodded. She did think that all of her other animals were cute as well, but there was a special place in her heart for him, "We may have to keep him away from my animals, because most of them are bigger than him, even Angel Bunny."
"He may not even be as big as a parasprite," Twilight added.
They looked forward and saw the building that was know as Sugarcube Corner. They started walking towards the main entrance to find her.
"Hi girls, what are you all up to?"
They all turned around to see the pink pony herself. Pinkie Pie. She was bouncing like her usual self, and she had her saddle bags.
"Oh, there you are Pinkie," Rarity said, "We were just going to find you."
"I was just attending a party that I planned." Pinkie Pie said with her usual happy smile, "So, what are you all doing?"
"Well, we wanted to find you to tell ya somethin' important," Applejack started, "Remember that lil critter that we saw earlier today?"
Pinkie Pie nodded vigorously, ''Yep I do, did you manage the catch it?"
"Well, Rainbow did, since it somehow managed to escape," Applejack said, "but we caught it a while ago."
"Well, where is it? Can I see it? Pretty please?" Pinkie said and gave them puppy dog eyes.
"Well, okay Pinkie, but please don't scare it." Applejack replied.
Pinkie Pie nodded and did the mantra, "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!"
Applejack nodded to Rainbow, and she nodded back, "Pinkie, we would like for you to meet August, " Rainbow said as she uncovered him.
Pinkies eyes went wide and her grin grew wider when she saw the small child in Rainbows hoof, "Oh my gosh, Rainbow, it's so tiny and adorable!"
However, her smiled turned into a small frown when she saw the tiny child shaking in Rainbows hoof, "Aww, what is wrong with him? Is he okay"
Applejack frowned and said, "Well, he's afraid that you'll be angry at him for trying to take that cake from your cart." She looked sadly at the little child curled up on Rainbows hoof.
Pinkies frown grew bigger as she looked at the trembling child, "Aww, it's ok little guy. Hey, can I hold him?"
Rainbow was hesitant at first, as she grew to care for August. But then she saw the light smiles on her friends faces, "Well, okay. But please be careful with him Pinkie. He is very fragile and shy."
Pinkie nodded and gently grabbed August out of Rainbows hoof.
Augusts shaking grew due to being transferred to Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie noticed this, and brought August up and hugged him against her cheek, "Aww, it's okay, little guy. I know you didn't mean it."
"I'm s-sorry for trying to take the c-cake from the cart, M-miss Pinkie Pie. C-can you forgive m-me?" August asked her, shaking.
Pinkie lightly smiled and brought him down to her chest, "Well of course I can, sweetie. I forgave you a while ago." She rubbed at him to reassure him.
The others watched the scene with smiles on their faces, including Rainbow.
Rainbow looked down at August, and asked, "Hey Pinkie, do you think that I can have him back?"
Pinkie nodded, "Okie dokie lokie, here you go!" She handed him back to Rainbow.
His light shaking actually ceased when he was back with Rainbow Dash, and he snuggled into her chest fur and hoof.
"Awwwww." Everyone said in unison at his cuteness.
"Hey girls, would you like to have a sleepover at my library?" Twilight suggested with a large smile.
Everyone smiled brightly, and yelled, "Yeah!" in unison.
"R-Rainbow D-Dash, what's a sleepover?" They barely heard August ask.
Everyone's mouths went completely agape, "You don't know what a sleepover is, little one?" Rarity politely asked. He slowly shook his head.
Twilight walked up in front of Rainbow Dash in bent on her forelegs to talk to August, "Well, sweetie, a sleepover is a night where a group of friends meet somewhere, stay up late, and play games. We do sleepovers all the time."
August nodded and lowered his head.
"August, little buddy what's wrong?" Rainbow asked him.
He looked back up with a single tear dropping down his face, "A-Are you sure you want m-me to come to the sleepover? I-I don't wanna be a burden..."
Fluttershy quickly came up and quietly said, "Sweetheart, you won't be a burden, I promise. You are a kind, sweet, and may I say adorable little one." She gave him a small smile.
"Yes, darling, please don't think that. We would never ever believe that you are a burden." Rarity told him.
August raised his head and asked, "Promise?"
Everyone looked at him and grinned, "I promise, sweetheart." Rarity responded.
"Yeah, and sleepovers are really fun. You'll like it, I know you will little guy." Rainbow Dash said.
August nodded, and laid his head against her chest. Then everyone started walking towards Golden Oaks Library.
When they finally made it to the library, they all went indide and started to set up. They set up the sleeping bags, the snacks and drinks, and the games.
"This looks divine, girls. Excellent work." Rarity said and looked around at the decorations.
While the girls admired their work, August looked around at Twilights house, since he didn't reqlly get a chance to last time. It was inside a tree, or was a tree. There were lots of books, since it was a library.
"Hold on, we're missing one thing. Spike! Could you bring down Slumber 101?!" Twilight yelled.
"Sure thing, Twilight!" Said a new voice coming from upstairs.
A few seconds later, footsteps were coming down the stairs, and when the person that was creating the footsteps reached the bottom of the stairs, it was shown to be a purple and green dragon. August yelped and hid in Rainbows hoof.
"Here you go Twilight." Said Spike handing her the book.
"Thanks, number one assistant." Twilight replied and ruffled his spikes.
''I heard something weird coming from over there." Spike said and pointed to near Rainbow Dash.
"Oh, I forgot! Rainbow, can you show Spike?" Twilight asked.
Rainbow nodded and leaned into her hoof which was on her chest, "Hey, little buddy, it's okay. Spike is a nice dragon. He won't hurt you."
"I won't hurt who? Guys, you're seriously freaking me out."Spike said with a confused face.
Everyone have a light smile at Rainbow Dash and she smiled back, "Spike, I would like for you to meet August." She said and held her hoof out.
In her hoof, Spike saw a very tiny creature. It didn't have any fur besides on its head. It wore clothes on its hind legs, and on its face was a small pair of eyes glasses. He noticed that he was shaking.
Spike stared at August for the longest time, "W-what is it?"
Twilight walked up to Spike and put a hoof on his shoulder, "Spike, this small creature is a human."
Spikes eyes grew wide open, "B-but that's not possible. Humans aren't tiny like he is."
"I don't think he's from the same world as them, Spike." Twilight responded.
Spike nodded but was still utterly shocked at seeing a human, much less a tiny one that is smaller than a parasprite.
"He is very shy, which is normal seeing as he is only five years old." Said Twilight, and Spike almost gasped.
"Five?! He's only five years old?! Where are his..." Spike started but couldn't finish, as Rainbow shut him up with her free hoof.
"We don't know what happened, but he gets really upset when anyone brings them up" She told him.
Rainbow wrapped her hoof around August and brought him close to her, so he wouldn't be scared.
"Well, what are we gonna do with the little guy?" Spike asked all of them.
None of them knew exactly what to do with August, as none of them got that far.
"I don't know, but I don't think that we should think about that yet. Let's just enjoy tonight." Twilight said.
Rainbow nodded and looked down at August. She saw that he had fallen asleep in her hoof.
She smiled and very carefully tucked him under her wing, so he didn't get hurt. He snuggled into her, and that made the girls giggle. Then everyone started the sleepover.
