Rainbow got back to the castle to see that everypony was sitting around the cutie map in their own thrones/seats, talking to Starlight, most likely about August.
Rainbow flew in with him, and everyone greeted her.
Rainbow quickly sat on the haunches on her throne, and began explaining what happened, "Girls, you'll never believe what happened when we stopped at my cloud house!"
Everyone so slightly leaned their heads in to listen, "August sat on a cloud!"
Everyone have a shocked expression, Twilight said, "That's impossible. Only pegasi are able to walk on clouds, it's common knowledge."
Rainbow shook her head, "I swear Twilight. He really did sit on a cloud. I was there."
Twilight gave in realizing that she was right, she wasn't there, "Well alright I'll take your word for it, but how?"
Rainbow replied, "That's literally what I came back here to ask you." She facehoofed herself.
Twilight shrugged, "Well, I've never really deeply studied the human anatomy, or really anything that has to do with humans. The only other time I've seen a human was when I went to get my crown back from that alternate dimension," Twilight paused and looked at August, "But we'll figure it out later."
Rainbow realized her face expression had something to do with telling August he couldn't go home, "You wanna tell him? Right now?" She whispered in her ear.
Twilight shook her head, "Of course not. We're waiting until tonight to tell him."
Rainbow nodded and rubbed August, "So what do you guys wanna do?" Rainbow triee changing the subject quickly to avoid August catching on.
"Well it is about lunch time," Applejack said, "I'd be more than happy to make y'all some pancakes if ya want."
Everyones stomach grumbled after she said that and they chuckled.
"I'll take that as a yes." She said and trotted towards the kitchen.
Pinkie Pie hopped up to Rainbow and August, "Hey little wittle cutie, did they have pancakes back in your world? Ooh, how bout cupcakes?"
August giggled at her jolly mood and softly replied, "Y-yes, there were pancakes back in my world. M-Mommy and D-Daddy always made the best ones." Augusts mood quickly went back down after he brought up his mother and father.
Pinkies hair slightly deflated, "Aww, I hate seeing little wittle cutie wutie August all sad."
Rainbow cuddled him to her fur, whispering soft comforting words to him. Trying to get him to calm down.
Everyone watched the scene with sadness in their eyes, and Pinkie felt bad for even bringing up his world.
Not only did he lost his parents, but he would soon find out he wont be able to return to his world.
A few minutes later, Applejack came in with a cart of pancakes, "Hope you're hungry y'all. I made a bunch."
Everyone looked towards her direction and they almost drooled seeing the delicious looking pancakes.
Applejack set a plate in front of all of them and went back to sit down with her own dish.
Rainbow looked down at August and quietly asked him, "Hey, little guy, are you hungry?"
August looked down, feeling guilty that he actually was, and nodded.
Rainbow frowned as his nervousness and nuzzled him. She gently set him down on the table, "August, you don't have to be guilty about being hungry. I don't mind sharing my food."
August nodded and looked at the pancakes, which were the size of a house for him. He slowly took a big piece, which was just a little crumb to everyone else.
Rainbow smiled, "See? It's okay."
August slowly began to chew on the pancake crumb, "M-Mm, this is g-good Applejack."
She smiled, "Well thank ya very much, little one. That means a lot to me."
August slowly continued to chew on the crumb until it was all gone. Everyone else then began to eat their dishes of pancakes.
They all finished their food within minutes.
"Hey girls?" They all heard Twilight ask, "I have an idea of what we could do next."
"Well, what is it Twilight?" Rainbow asked.
"We should go show August to the Princesses." She told them
Everyone looked at her with wide eyes.
"Darling, don't you think that we should keep the little one a secret? I mean, we don't want them to take him away from us." Rarity asked.
Twilight shook her head, "Princess Celestia and Luna would never do that to anyone as small and adorable as August. Plus, it would be inpolite to keep him a secret from the Princesses."
They nodded their heads in understanding.
"Alright. Spike, take a letter please."
Spike came barreling from the library with a scroll qnd quill, "Ready Twilight."
Dear Princess Celestia,
I apologise for writing this letter later than I should have, but yesterday afternoon, my friends Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie all encountered a creature that has only been seen by me in an alternate dimension.
This creature is called a human, which is a creature similar in intelligence with that of a pony.
Except this human is very different from the ones I encountered at Canterlot High, this human is small. Very small.
When my friends first saw it, or him, they mistook him for some kind of rodent.
It wasn't until he spoke that they figured out that he definitely was not a rodent.
They asked him questions, including asking for his name , age, and where is parents were.
August, which his name, did not take the last question very well, and became rather distraught. It wasn't until later that August told Rainbow that he had lost his parents in some accident that killed them, to which later she told all of us privately, as August doesn't like his parents being brought up.
We wanted to take August to Canterlot to meet you tommorrow at 10 AM as long as you are okay with it.
Oh, and keep in mind, August is very sensitive and shy.Please write back whenever you have the time to do so.

When Spike was done writing, he sent the letter away.
Rainbow picked August back up off the table, and cradled him close, "Hey little guy, do you wanna have another sleepover, this time in the castle? Do you think we could do that Twilight?'
She nodded, "Of course we can. After all, we are all going to Canterlot tommorow."
Everyone cheered, happy that they finally had something to do before they had to tell August the bad news.
Later that night...
Everyone was sitting in a circle. Playing games just like last time. Except this time was different.
August was participating.
"August, did you have any pets at home?" Fluttershy asked him.
He nodded, "U-U huh. We had a p-puppy. His name was Murray."
She smiled, satisfied with the answer.
It was Twilights turn to ask him a question, "August, what was your favorite thing to do at home by yourself?"
He thought for a second, "I like to listen to music."
Everyone asked him simple questions, not wanting to get him to say something personal.
After every one asked him a question, they moved on to a different game.
"Hey little cutie wutie, do you wanna play hide and seek?" Pinkie Pie asked him.
He gulped, a little nervous, but nodded.
Rainbow rubbed him, "Hey don't be nervous, it'll be fun, especially in this huge castle."
"Ok! I'll count to 371! 1..2..3..4.." Pinkie started.
Everyone jumped and ran off laughing. Rainbow flew with August.
"Don't worry, I've got the best hiding place." She told him.
She flew into the library. There was a big gap between books on a shelf, and she flew in. There was some space behind the books.
She laid down on the ground carefully with August held in one hoof.
"They have never found me here They always have to ask me to come out." Rainbow said and giggled, "Have you ever played hide and seek?"
He nodded, "Yes. I have lots of friends at home that I always play with."
Rainbow bit her lip. If he had a lot of friends at home, it was gonna be even harder to tell him that he couldn't go home.
They sat there for almost 45 minutes talking about their lives.
"Alright, Rainbow Dash, August, come out! We couldn't find you!" They heard Pinkie say.
They both giggled and Rainbow made her way out with him.
All of them were waiting in the cutie map room.
"Seriously Dash, how do you always win? That has to be some hiding place. And now you showed August where it is?" Twilight asked.
Rainbow chuckled, "Yep."
They all then looked at each other sadly, and Rainbow knew what was going on by tge looks on all their faces, "Rainbow, could you sit down with August? It's time."
She nodded and went to sit down in her seat.
August looked around at everyones sad faces, "W-What's wrong?"
Twilight sighed, "Little one, we have something rather important to tell you, but just know that we are all here okay?"
Everyone else nodded in agreement.
She breathed in and out, "I sm so, so sorry August, but... you can't go home.
