(Background information! Shadow sold the home early {w/Sonic} features to a family of rats. Eggman had a spare room with bunk beds on his ship, but when Honest and Shadow went rogue, they had to find somewhere else to live. Luckily Shadow knew Snow from work and knew that her parents had left her a house with rooms she struggled to take care of. There's an alternate version of this chapter with a little more information that I'm going to try to find and paraphrase.)

(The original chapter was called "Guests of... Honor?"

Honest and Shadow stood in front of two ornate double doors.

Honest whispered to Shadow, "Wh-Who is this?"

"Snow," Shadow said, ringing the doorbell.

"That's not helping. I don't know a Snow," Honest said, crossing her arms.

Shadow crossed his arms as well. "You'll see soon enough."

Eventually the doors opened to reveal a bunny girl with red hair, golden fur, and dark purple ears that hung to her waist. Her eyes matched her ears and she wore a purple dress, dark tights, and tall, grey boots.

And then...)

"Wowee! This is a mega, uber, huge house you've got here, Snow!" Sonic exclaimed, rushing past her and into the room, throwing his hands into the air dramatically.

Snow beamed. "Thank you." Honest took one step into her house, only to have every hair on her body stand on end, sending her reeling backwards into Shadow's arms, whom had a face comparing to Mephiles's, showing he didn't feel much different after stepping into the room. "It's cold, and quiet, and empty! And it smells like dust and asbestos!"

Shadow stifled a laugh. Honest smiled hopefully, and attempted to stand on her own.

"I'll show you to Honest's room first," Snow said, turning to walk away.

"'Honest's room'?" Sonic said, mimicking what Snow had said. "As in, we get our own rooms?"

"Of course," Snow said. "I'm not sure what your house is like, Sonic, but my house has plenty of bed rooms." She then sighed. "A ridiculous amount, actually."

When Honest and Shadow had finished exchanging stunned faces, Snow said, "Anyway, so yeah. Follow me."

Honest broke into song, Sonic following quickly after as they went up the stairs. "Follow me inside, outside, through the stratosphere- !"

Shadow rolled his eyes, and Snow just ignored them as they reached the top of the stairs and turned right then left, ending at a door.

Honest turned and pulled the knob, imagining what could be behind it. She was surprised to see what was behind it wasn't all that neat.

The room was empty except for the tiny bed and dresser in one corner. At least there was a large, bay window overlooking- trees.

"I hope you like it," Snow said to Honest. "Let's go see Shadow's room."

They crossed the hallway and turned right. Shadow's room was huge compared to Honest's with a matching bay window, a large bed, and an even larger bookshelf that took up one wall. Every inch of the room was filled up with shelves, pictures, and other assorted things, making Honest's room seem unfairly inferior and boring.

Honest was mad. "You gave me the smallest room on purpose!"

"Don't worry, Honest," Shadow stood in front of her. "You're welcome to hang in my room any time."

Shadow wasn't one to flirt, so Honest took that as him being generous. "Thank you, Shadow."

Suddenly Shadow got red in the face. Honest sweat-dropped. "Y-You aren't-"

Shadow's face grew even redder. "That's not what I meant!" His fist glowed green and Honest sweated profusely.

Sonic rested his hands on Shadow's shoulders. "Calm down, Faker."

Shadow shrugged Sonic's hands off of him and crossed his arms. "Whatever."

"And Sonic's room is identical to Shadow's minus the furniture and on the other side of the hallway," Snow mentioned.

Sonic's ears perked up when he heard that. "Oh no, Faker. I better not find you peeking through my door at night."

"You never said anything about windows," Sonic pointed out.

Shadow just rolled his eyes and looked the other way. Sonic closed his eyes tight as if he was having a nice daydream. Snow stood there with narrowed eyes, looking back and forth between the two hedgehogs, utterly confused.

(Actual notes I wrote at the end of this in the past)

(That's a note I made when I took what I had written on paper over Summer 2015 and typed it to put on Wattpad originally.)

And that's it for this chapter! Hope you like my new story, and I'll see you when I upload the next part.

(Oh, gosh. Apparently I wanted this story to be a rom-com originally. I can't wait until we get to the more modern chapters. This is just embarrassing. D;)
