(Phew. I breathe a sigh of relief whenever school comes into my stories. I guess that's why kids go to school. It's so that they're not forced to lie about their homes all the time. That's where all the dumbest stuff happens, after all. Well, at least that was the case for me.)

"Oh my goodness!" Honest said to herself in the mirror as she combed her hair that morning. "Today's my birthday!"

The first person she told was Rouge. "Good morning! Guess what today is?"

"Wednesday?" she asked.

"No, silly! Today's my birthday!"

"Oh! Happy birthday, Honest!"

As Honest walked away, she got a huge smile on her face. Today was going to be the best birthday ever.

Second period her name was announced on the intercom. A girl sitting at her table said, "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you!" Honest replied, acting as if she totally appreciated the congrats from one person. However, that wasn't enough for Honest.

The whole class sung happy birthday to her and, fourth period, Scourge even told her happy birthday! Fiona sat in front of Honest, so she turned around and said, "What the heck, Scourge? You were the one who asked the coach if we could sing happy birthday to her, and now you say you almost forgot?"

Honest smiled. "Really?" She laughed.

Seventh period the class, the teacher, and another teacher sang to her. She felt so special. When she walked into eighth, she ran up to Shadow and hugged him tight. "Today's my birthday!"

"Uh, happy birthday...?" he said uncomfortably.

"Really? I thought I'd have to beat it out of you!"

(Okay, so what happened next was Honest counted her Sonic plushies and found that one was missing because Mephiles borrowed it. For some reason, that's important to the plot. Then Shadow and Honest went to Rouge's Cafe's rival cafe. Snow took them there in a missing chapter. It has a red theme to it, and it's a place that they visit very, very infrequently in my stories. I think they visit it in {Gender-bent Edition}, and maybe one other time. I've made some drawings of it, too. Anyway, those two things are the only things important to the overall plot of my stories. The reason I didn't include the rest was that I did some weird, experimental cross-over thing that isn't canon.)
