No Need For Dreaming

SIXTEEN YEARS LATER

I stared out at the rugby field in front of me, watching my boys, James and Jude. Jude had just tackled the opposing player. His team mates rucked around him. A scuffled ensued. The ball was thrown out and a boy from Jude's team and James took it sprinting across the pitch to the goal post. He darted in and around the other players. A boy tackled James in to the goal line. James scrambled to keep hold of the ball setting it firmly on the ground. With that the game was won. The official declared the boys team had indeed won and the stands erupted in riotous cheers from the parents. I stretched and beamed the tourney was finally over. The boys came over to me with the biggest grins I had seen yet. "Wonderful! WONDERFUL! OUTSTANDING!" I cried hugging them both.

"Great way to end the season, yeah, Ma?" James asked smiling down on me. He was sixteen and more than a head taller than me as was Jude. "Yes, James." I smiled lovingly up at him. "Yeah, just in time for sevens to start, yeah?" Jude elbowed James who laughed. Both looked to me and I shook my head. "Aye, you two will be the death of me." They beamed. We headed to the car and my phone started to ring. "Go start the car. No horsing around, yeah?" I called to them. Both looked back to me with mischievous smiles. I shook my head again and answered my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby"

"Momma?"

"Just calling to see how the twins match went today."

"Oh, ma, they did brilliantly! Both scored multiple tries! Their team won, and won the tourney! Ended the season in the most outstanding fashion! It was amazing mamma, I wish you and daddy could have been here. Oh I am so proud! You both would have been so proud!"

"Well your wish might be coming true baby girl"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, Jackson and the club are coming to Ireland for club business."

"Are you messing with me mamma? I said we would be there in time for daddies birthday. if This is a ploy mom so help me..."

"Peanut, shut up. Its not a ploy. I cant say much more. They should be there soon. "

"What about Happy mom?"

"What about him?"

"Is he... will he be along too?"

"Yes. I gotta go love you."

"Love you too ma."

The line went dead and I blew out a breath. Panic was already starting to over take me. I walked to the car and saw my giant boys rocking the small car back and forth. I smiled in spite of how I was feeling. These boys were my world. I thought back on how I had come to be here. Newly marri and heartbroken. Finding Happy in my bed with my roommate Tavianna.

It was only after I got settled in Belfast that I found out I was pregnant with twins. I called Donna scared outta my god damn mind. At barely 23 years old, working on my Masters in a foreign county. I didn't know what to do. I waited forever to tell anyone back home I was pregnant. I waited two months before my mentor Maeve coerced me into calling Donna. Even then I made her promise not to say anything to anybody. I wanted to come home so bad.

However, I was in no shape to fly back. Being as small as I am I was already at risk of losing the babies. The added stress of flying was completely out of the picture. When I had the boys, Jackson and both of my parents made it clear it was not safe to come back due to club business. How would I be able to travel with two infants? It was always the wrong time to come home. I know they told Happy. Donna, called me after it happened a total mess. I wasn't mad though, why would I be? I tried to contact him. Never heard anything back. me being the bitch that I am i sent him fathers day card every year.

But that was it. I called his mother frequently though, giving her updates on the boys. Sending pictures and letters. Once they were talking the boys would call her all the time. They did the same with my parents and Donna since she and Opie were their god parents. I pretty much kept everyone updated about the boys. Once I told momma and Daddy, they got in touch with the Belfast charter and they helped out. lately I've been keeping my distance from the charter. i didn't like the direction they were going and didn't want the boys to be around them.

I got to the car and glowered at the boys in front of me. They were standing on either side of the my little geo metro pushing it from side to side. I was convinced if they really wanted to these boys could carry the car home with me in it. "What's going to happen when you break my car?" I asked hands on hips glowering at my boys. "Guess you'll have to ride your bike. oh no what a tragedy that would be." James said grinning at his twin. "Who was on the phone?" Jude asked holding open the passenger side door for me.

"Your Gram, she wanted to know how the match went." The boys smiled even more. "AH what did you tell 'er ma? you shudda let us talk to 'er, you never get any of the details right." James exploded getting in on the drivers side. "We make it epic, ma. 'ere let us call 'er back an we can tell 'er ourselves." Jude goaded reaching for the phone as James pulled away from the curb and made his way down the street.

I dropped the phone back in my bag so he wouldn't get it. "No. She's busy right now." I said curtly. The car exploded with No's and aw come on's. "She always has time for us, MA!" Jude nudged my shoulder. "She's said it from the beginning. Give Jude the phone Ma, let him call." James elbowed me again. "It can wait." The boys looked at me. "The club is coming to Belfast." I said, finally looking out the windows. "That means we're gonna meet our Da?" Jude asked quietly. I looked at both my boys. They looked exactly like Happy. To a Tee.

I nodded and the boys looked to each other. no one said anything for the rest of the ride. We finally got home and I sighed. Our house wasn't grand but it was home. We walked in and the boys darted away. My guess was to get showers, I sincerely hoped so in any case. I noticed the answering machine was blinking. I walked over and pressed play. It was Maureen asking if for me to come over. I called her back, saying that I would be over in half an hour.

Half and hour later the boys walked into Ashby's and the boys sauntered over to Trinity; Maureen's daughter who was about twenty-three now. "Where's your ma?" Trinity smiled at the boys before answering me. "In the back. she'll be right out." I nodded and looked around. I noticed how the boys flirted unmercifully with Trinni, even if she didn't reciprocate it. They knew they looked good. they would flaunt it.

Showing off their muscles. They had finally grown out grown of their weird lanky stage. the one thing they got from me, and filled out just like their father. They would act like idiots just to get her to smile. Thank Christ she didn't egg them on. Jesus, the were brick houses with muscles upon muscles and the school girls loved them. As much as I hated it. If I could I would keep them young forever. I rolled my eyes at them as Maureen came out of the back with her shop girl Cherry.

I nodded to Cherry and made my way to Maureen. "So, have you heard your brothers comin' over?" She whispered walking outside the store. I nodded and followed her. "Yeah, Ma called right before I checked the machine." She lit a cigarette and I did the same. "D'Ya know why?" She asked blowing a cloud of smoke up to the sky. I shook my head. "All she said was club business. They don't keep me in the loop." Mo nodded. "Why? D'ya know something Mo?" I could tell there was something bothering her. She shook her head unwilling to speak of it.

"D'ya know when they'll be here?" I asked apprehensively. I looked to the boys then back at her. "Tomorrow night. Gunna be a heck of a party in their honor at the clubhouse." she replied. i nodded and bit my lip as i looked back to the boys. all i keptthinking about was how they would react when they saw their father for the first time. "Guessing they don't know their Da?" I shook my head. "Well then, Love, we have that in common." I looked to her confused. "Well, I guess we should get ready then, yeah?" she said folding her cigarette away from her and stepping away from the wall. still confused, i nodded then stubbed out my cigarette. walked back in the store. "BOYS, we're going." I commanded turning to leave. "Thanks for the talk Mo." I said waiting for the boys to hurry up. She nodded to me, I waved to Trinni as I left.

We got back to the apartment and I immediately started cleaning. I told the boys to tidy up their rooms and do their laundry. I was a ball of nervous energy. It had been a while since saw the family. Well, probably three years. It had become habit, every three years we would make the trip to Charming. Every time we visited, Happy would disappear completely. Which, to be honest was fine by me. We would spend half our time in Charming and the other half at Happy's moms place. I would never ask about Happy and the boys didn't either.

I finished cleaning around midnight. Not that my house was that dirty but I kept finding things to do. After a long shower I finally laid down and closed my eyes.

*THE NEXT NIGHT*

It was about nine thirty at night and I stared at the clothes in front of me in mild hate. Any other time I would have been dressed and ready to go. "MA COME ON!' The boys shouted impatiently. I sighed tugging on my jeans. I pulled on a cream colored long sleeved top. I stared at it and hard stomping up the steps. the twins burst into the room. "NOW MA!" I glowered at them. "ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, GET OUT!" The shut the door and I knew they were waiting outside it. I took off the top I had just put on and grabbed a black v-neck tee shirt, the back was a fine mesh and exposed just enough cleavage. Thank christ for kids, my tits had grown twice their size. I tucked the reaper ring and chain that I carried everywhere with me in my back pocket. I grabbed my leather Jacket and headed out with the boys in hot pursuit. The boys hopped on their bikes.

Yes, that's right I allowed them to have their own motorcycles. I had one as well. Judge me I don't care. I didn't allow them to hang around the club as often as they would have liked. Which was barely at all but I digress. I got situated on James's bike. I was planning on getting shitty so I wasn't going to bring my bike. "ya ready, Ma?" I laughed and nodded. "As I will ever be, my dear James." I patted him on the back. He turned to look at me and Jude came up beside us. "We just wanted ta let ya know. we're 're for ya. We're goin' to protect you ma. Don ya worry." I stared at both of them. I felt myself smile in response. "What did I ever do to deserve both of you?" They shook their heads. "We figured you had been through enough." Well shoot me. If that doesn't make you proud I don't know what will.

*AT THE CLUBHOUSE*

Gemma watched with bated breath as two motor cycles pulled into the club house lot. She wasn't the only one to notice. Everyone else did as well. She saw just about everyone pull their guns out. She knew instantly who the bikers were as soon as they got off their bikes. "MY BOYS!" She shouted making her way through the crowd. She might have actually pushed Juice out of the way to get to her grandsons.

"Jesus christ what is your ma feeding you? How the fuck did you get so big?!" "The hearts of unfortunate suitors." The twins said at the same time. Gemma chuckled kissing the boys on their cheeks. "I missed you both so much." She marveled at her grandsons. Well, there's no denying who their father was now. The twins were a perfect combination of Happy and Lillie. They were built like Happy, had his complexion, and hair Gemma guessed at the hair part. She'd never seen Happy with any hair, excluding facial hair. They took after Lillie in their facial features and ears.

Gemma noted smirking a bit. Lillie had little elf ears as Jackson had called them. The boys bent a little bit and kissed each of her cheeks. Clay stood behind Gemma as did Jax and the rest of the Redwood Charter, with an exception for one who was in the club house caught about in his own thoughts. "Gram! We missed you! Wait til we tell you about the match." James said. his deep bass voice resonating with her. "Maybe another time, yeah Ian?" Jude said quietly. His voice was more musical and light.

He had noticed how tense it was when they pulled up on the lot. There was something serious happening that their mom had either chose not to tell them about or didn't know about. He was already on high alert on the off chance he would meet his father, this just made him more on guard. He stood protectively in front of his mother. On the look out for who ever his Da might be. "Maybe you're right, Andrew. Now doesn't seem like the time." James had caught on to what his twin had meant and was immediately looking around to find "him". The term they had coined in reference to their father. Gemma heard a sigh from behind the young giants. "They call each other by their middle names. Now If ya boys are done I think I'd like to see my family."

Lillie pushed her way through her sons and smiled at her mother. "You dirty fucking bitch bitch." Gemma said in awe of her daughter. "How is it that you're this fucking gorgeous? You look younger than when you left!" Gemma exclaimed taking her daughter in. Her youngest smiled up at her enjoying the compliment. They held each other for a while, enjoying the moment. The twins had moved to greet their granddad and uncle. The twins nodded to their grand dad who smiled and pulled them in for a huge hug.

"Better genes I suppose." Lillie laughed hugging her mother again. Gemma smiled relishing the the light brogue Lillie had picked up. Gemma hated that her daughter lived so far away from her. She hated not being able to be in the twins life more. But, at this moment in time she was glad Lillie had been away. With so much happening in the club it was too much for Gemma to worry about. They didn't need anymore shit.

Like her sons Lillie had noticed how tense it was. She saw it in her mothers eyes. "What's wrong, ma?" She whispered in her mothers ear. Gemma shook her head. "Now isn't the time, Peanut." Gemma whispered back kissing the top of Lillie's head. Lillie turned and hugged Jackson, who was assessing the twins. "Jesus Christ Lillie." He muttered hugging his little sister. She smiled and shrugged. He didn't need to say it. "When do I get to meet my nephew, Jackson?" She looked at him expectantly, as though Jax was just supposed to produce him right then and there. He saw the love in her eyes as the boys chatted animatedly to Clay. Who laughed and clapped both boys on their shoulders. Jax acted like he hadn't heard her and moved to greet his nephews.

He noticed how the boys would look over to Lillie then around them from time to time. It dawned on him that they were looking out for their father. He hoped to god that they weren't looking for a fight. The boys came over and shook Jackson's hand as Chibbs and the rest of the club converged on Lillie. Lillie couldn't help but smile at the men around her. Her family was finally back. "Baby Girl!" Tig shouted picking her up in a warm embrace. She hugged him back tighter "TIG!" Lillie squealed as he swung her around. Tigg set Lillie back on her feet looking down on her his arm around her shoulders. She stood on her tip toes to kiss Tig's cheek. James and Jude stood beside her, their arms crossed. "Lighten up boys!" She patted their arms. Tig marveled how she gave birth two the teens in front of him.

"I have to say, you did a damn fine job raising those boys." Chibbs remarked kissing the side of her head. Lillie beamed. "I know I did. I can't be prouder. God they are such good boys. Good hearted." She looked up at Chibbs and leaned in to him. "Missed ya lass. Have you talked to him?" Chibbs asked quietly looking around for Happy. "Sent him a fathers day card. haven't spoke to him since I left though." Chibbs looked disapprovingly at her. She pulled herself away from him so that she could look him full on. "Don' ya start wit me Filip." She warned. He couldn't help but smile at her brogue. He held his hands up in surrender.

She danced away grabbing a bottle of whiskey, taking a long swig. Lillie capped the whiskey unable to not smile. "What the hell do you feed them lil? They weren't that big the last time you were stateside." Bobby commented leaning against the wall with her. She uncapped the whiskey drank a good bit and passed it to Bobby. "I feed 'em the souls of disappointing suitors." Lilly said lighting her cigarette taking a long drag from it. Bobby snorted and shook his head. "That many eh?" she shrugged "Guess so." He pulled her into a one armed embrace. Lillie knew something was seriously wrong. Just by the way these men were acting. "We missed you." Bobby said handing the bottle back to her.

She nodded and glanced at Opie who joined them. He pulled her into a one armed hug. "How's Donna and the babies?" Lillie asked Exhaling some smoke she gave the bottle to Opie. He smiled fishing out his wallet. He showed Lillie the pictures of his family. She had been there for the wedding and both births of his kids. She was the kids god mother after all. But it had been three years since she had seen them. Opie had been in lock up the last time she was state side. Lillie's heart melted seeing the pictures of her god babies. "OPIE" she gasped punching his arm. "THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! my god LOOK AT DONNA! Opie, LOOK AT HER!" Lillie pushed Opie around unable to contain her excitement.

Opie beamed at the excitement Lillie was showing. Truth be told Opie was indebted to Lillie. She was really supportive when Opie went away, even came back and stayed with Donna for a couple months to help with the kids. His own mother didn't even do that. He was pretty sure Lillie called more than his mom and dad. Lillie had convinced Donna to go to the club while she was away. Even though her mother wasn't the warmest person; she and the club for that matter would make sure Donna had everything she needed for the kids. Opie honestly thought that Lillie was the one person on this earth Donna would listen to and vise versa. So when Opie got out and went right back to the club Donna was okay with it because of Lillie who had told Donna that it wasn't the clubs fault Ope went away.

She gaped at the photos. She missed her best friend. Seeing them made her realize she needed to go home. That made her feel better about the decision she had made a couple weeks ago. "Ya did good Ope." She said finally handing his wallet back to him. She looked around her making sure the twins weren't around. "Can I tell you something Opie?" He gave me a side ways glance. I motioned for him to lean closer to me. He leaned towards me, " We're moving back to Charming. I can't have the boys here much longer. Not with Jimmy and Father Ashby colliding as much as they have. I'm pretty sure Jimmy has McGee under his wing. The twins want to prospect." Lillie said looking up to Opie. He was quiet trying to process all the information. He knew she was moving to the states. Donna couldn't keep a secret for shit. He didn't know what to say about what in response to the Jimmy O stuff. How would she know? From what McGee told He and his brothers, Lillie for the most part steered clear of the club.

It was a couple hours later and Lillie watched with the boys as two men from the Belfast chapter fought each other. She walked away and tried to lit a cigarette in one hand with a beer in the other. The boys had been more than overly protective of her tonight. Neither one letting her out of their sight for more than a few minutes. She stumbled a bit and bumped in to someone. "Fuck me. Sorry." She muttered not looking at who she had bumped into, to focused on the task at hand to really care. "How about you try one thing at a time?" The man rasped a little coldly. His deep voice didn't register with her. She scoffed. "How about ya mind your own fuckin business an not be so fucking rude. Ya cunt." She retorted walking away. The man grabbed her arm causing her to drop her beer.

"Ah fuck it all. Look what ya done, wasted a perfectly good beer." She looked up at the man and stopped. "Happy." She said quietly her eyes had widened to the size of saucers. Her mouth opened but no words came out. She spun on her heel and quickly walked away down the dark side of the clubhouse in the opposite direction of him. Thanking whatever gods were up there that the Twins hadn't seen her. She made it to the back of club house when Happy stopped her. "What the fuck, Lillie?!" It had been sixteen years since they had been this close to each other and her body reacted the same way it did then. A warm fire started in her belly and her toes curled. She leaned her back against the wall, keeping one hand behind her. She was still holding the cigarette from before.

He placed his hands on either side of her and sighed leaning in close to her. She watched her reflection in his eyes waiting for him to make a move. There was no emotion on his face. "How's Tavianna?" Lillie asked. His eyes narrowed. "Hows Mac?" Happy snarled. Lillie smirked. "Just fine, comes over every Sunday for dinner. At least he returns my calls." He glared. "Must be nice." She stared on. "It is. How was your fathers day?" Happy snarled and punched the wall. "Stop being a fucking bitch." Lillie crossed her arms over her chest."You know its so funny. I heard from your mom the other day. She hadn't heard from you in a while." His eyes flashed dangerously. "Shut the fuck up, Lillie." She scoffed and rolled her eyes. "What are you going to do? Fuck my roommate in my bed again? Maybe you could knock her up so my boys can have siblings."

He roared. Turning around and walking away from her. Lillie couldn't help but smirk. It must have been so frustrating for him. He sat down against the wall beside her with his head in his hands. She slid down the wall and took her jacket off. "Do you hate me?" Happy asked quietly. "Do you want me to?" She looked over at him. As fucked up as it was she still held a god damn torch for this man. He shook his head. "You really fucked me up. You know that right?" She said looking over at him as she lit another cigarette.

"I can't be with anyone else. Even after all this fucking shit.." She stopped and shook her head. "Youra rat bastard. Happy. You knew" She was getting angry and she wasn't about to cry. Not in front of him. "You're a coward and you took the cowards way out." He glowered at her. "You could have came back." She scoffed and got up. "TO WHAT? FOR WHO? YOU?!" She seethed He shot to his feet in a second. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?" He yelled down at her. "You are a god damn idiot." She walked away from him. He stood there watching her. "You were supposed to fucking man up and call so we could have moved past it. Like I said, youra god damn coward." I took the ring on the chain that I had carried around with me for the last sixteen years out of my pocket and threw it at Happy. Breaking my heart all over again.

Happy sat on the ground his heads in his hands. He heard her parting words and it fucking killed him to hear her say what he had been thinking these past sixteen years. Something hit his shoulder he looked for what it was, seeing his reaper ring beside him. What the fuck? He remembered Lillie taking if off and throwing it out the window with his clothes. He and Kozik searched for hours for it. She kept it this whole time?

I walked quickly off the lot only to be stopped by Father Kellen Ashby. "Evenin' Lillie." He inclined his head to me. I looked up from where he had descended, coming from Maureen's place. I gave him a small smile in greeting. "Kel. How's Mo' gettin' along? She was right upset the last time we talked." I nodded behind him. Father Ashby gave me a gentle smile. "She'll be fine." I nodded sticking my hands into my jacket pockets. "Heard you, just now." He said softly nodding behind me, indicating where I had been and with who.

I looked down at my beat up chucks. "He'll come around." I shook my head. "I respect ya father, but its still a bit ta fresh talk abou'." Kellen chuckled and stepped closer to me. "I'll be stopping by in a couple days. Need ya ta do somethin' for tha cause." He whispered. I pulled out a cigarette and lit it. "I won't be able to do much more ya know." He nodded "aye I know." I looked up at the big man. "Has it been enough, though? Will my boys be safe or me? I know how it goes, Kel." He gave me a true smile and clapped me on the back. "More than enough Lillie." I let out a breath. "Good night Lillie." I nodded to the Priest and made my way to my home.

Twenty minutes later I was on the roof of my house with a bottle of whiskey and some joints I found in James's room. I had my head in my hands. I heard someone climb out of the window behind me. I took a long pull from the whiskey bottle noticing there wasn't much left. I set it down and lit a joint. Unable to hold it all in anymore I started bawling my eyes out. Here I was thinking that maybe everything would be okay.

What kind of fucked up thinking is that? That, Happy and I would get back together and live happily ever after like we were supposed to. Fucking idiot. Someone I guess it was James or Jude pulled me to them and rubbed my back as I cried into whose ever it was shirt. I cried harder, they shouldn't have to do this. I sniffled trying to calm myself down. Then it hit me boys didn't smell like this. I pushed away from Happy.

"And what do you want?" I picked up the whiskey bottle and took a long sip from it. "I love you Lillie and I want you back." I scoffed. "You think after all this time." "just fucking listen to me for once." I hiccuped. "I thought you were turning down the spot to come here. I got it into my head you were fucking around with that kid. I thought you were just fucking with me." Donna cornered me a couple days after it happened and told me everything. I search high and low for you. I bugged the fuck out of that Mac kid. He finally told me you had spent a couple days there but it was only til you had to leave for Ireland. Then you really disappeared." He choked up. "I was a miserable fucking prick, then Donna started running her mouth and she told me you were pregnant with my kids." He sighed and shook his head. "I honestly wanted to fucking die, Lil. I had become the worst person I knew. Worse than my own dad. Fuck, I was convinced Jax and Clay had put a hit out on me." He laughed a little at that. "As time went on and the pictures and the letters came in I thought you and the boys were better off with out me."

Lillie didn't know what to say to him. She just stared. He felt her gaze on him and her hand on his shoulder, he looked up. She went to say something but closed her mouth thinking better of it. She wanted to say that she wanted him She wanted him to know her boys the works but at this point she was just to hurt. "What do you want me to say, Hap?" I looked at Happy and he shrugged. "You want me." Lillie scoffed unable to hold back a smile. Happy caught the smile out of the corner of his eye. It gave him hope. "I'm going in now." Lillie said grabbing the whisky and the joints and crawled back in the window. She kicked off her shoes and turned the radio on. I finished the whiskey and put the joints on my bed side table.

I pulled off my shirt and tried to unbutton my jeans but my fingers weren't working. Thank you so much dad for the arthritis. I fiddled with the button some more then gave up. I let out a frustrated groan and flopped on my back on the bed. I tried pulling them off but that wasn't working either. "God damn me for keeping up with these fucking trends. Why couldn't they make jeans with velcro." I said to myself. Happy chuckled.

No doubt watching me the entire time fucking creep. "Fucking creep." He walked over hands in his pockets. His eyes traveled down my body appreciatively. I had pretty much kept my form. From the last time he had seen this much of me. "Do you need help?" This fucking asshole. "Does it look like I need help?" I shot back. "It does." I rolled my eyes. He stood over me and I stared at him for what felt like ever in my book.

"Just pop the fucking button I can do the rest. PLEASE." Happy popped the button and stood back I got off the bed and rubbing my hands together. To my displeasure I couldn't grip the damn zipper. Happy watched more curious now. Earlier he thought I was just to drunk but now, seeing my difficulty he realized there was something more going on. He unzipped my jeans and god help me I sucked in a breath. He smirked pulling me against him as He took my hands in his, examining them. His thumbs rubbing over my swollen knuckles. "You're a mess." I rolled my eyes giving him a lopsided grin. "The fuck outta here, Lowman." I sat down on the bed rubbing my hands. We sat in silence for a good while. Probably thinking about each other.

I kept rubbing my hands, for some reason they ached more today than they had in a long while. Happy noticed and took my hands in his, rubbing them with his thumbs. I stared at him thoughtfully. Honestly, what he was doing felt wonderful. He stopped for a moment and stared at me. "I have to say something." He stated. I nodded waiting for him to continue. "I love you Marcy Elizabeth Morrow. I've loved you from the first day we hung out I love you now. You have haunted for the last sixteen years. I don't want to go another day without you being at my side. I want to spend the rest of my days with you, if you'll have me."

I stared at him for a while. I gave him a simple kiss on the lips. "Are you going to push me away when things get bad?" He shook his head. "No." Lillie stretched and shrugged. Happy pulled out the ring she had thrown at him earlier and placed it back on her finger where the H he tattooed was. She wiggled and kicked out of the jeans. She grunted when they finally came off.

Happy looked over and saw that not only was her back covered in tattoos, so was the rest of her. besides her neck and face. God, She made him wild. He wanted to examine each and everyone of those tattoos. He licked his lips watching her as she stretched and got off the bed. She walked to the bathroom and turned to look at him. He had this salt and pepper goatee now, that was beyond any realm of sexiness she could imagine. He was always clean shaven when they were together. She felt her cheeks redden as she thought about all the things she wanted to do to him. He looked so good in the black t-shirt he was wearing. God he looked bigger. Like fucking built. He looked like he worked out religiously. He could probably bench press a million of her.

Happy felt her looking at him. He opened an eye, Lillie was leaning against the door jam, arms crossed over her chest staring at him. She was in dark red bustier bra and dark red lace pantie and god damn he'd take her right there if she let him. Her stomach was tight as ever. Her hipbones poking out over her pantie line. Her hair was just as long if not longer. It looked like it reached just to her waist if not a little bit higher.

She was deep in thought but occasionally, she would bite her lower lip and her face would redden. She caught herself staring at him and shook her head smiling slightly. "See something you like little girl." he asked catching her off guard. Her face blanched and she slid off the door jam. He smiled getting up off the bed going to her. He stood over her Leaning on the door jam. "Hmph you think your so hot pfft." She said stepping back.

Unfortunately it was into the still closed bathroom door. He leaned in more, his arms propped on the door frame above him. "No, but you do." He whispered his face inches from hers. She surprised him by pulling him against her. Her lips on his. He wrapped his arms around her and picked her up. He moaned slightly and Lillie smiled in response. Her legs hooked around his waist. Happy's hands cupped her ass.

He sucked and bit at her neck and collar bone. He walked backwards to the bed and sat down. Lillie settled in his lap and kissed his neck. Her hands traveled down to the hem of his shirt and pulled it off of him. She threw it across the hands explored his chest and pushing him back into the bed. She nipped at his ear and he hissed. "I want you." She whispered sucking hard on his neck. He unhooked her bra and laughed. She still had nipple rings. He sucked on her nipple as she held him tightly to her. She sat back and looked down on him. She kissed his neck, licking a vein that throbbed there. His hands kneaded her breasts and tugged on her piercings.

She kissed, licked and bit her way down his stomach to where his boxer poked out. Big Poppa by The Notorious B.I.G came on She undid his belt she smiled a bit and slowly undid the button to his jeans then slowly pulled the zipper down. Happy stared at her. She stared back with no emotion on her face. She kissed his stomach and biting him, all the while never breaking eye contact. Happy flipped them over so he was on top.

He pinned her arms above her with one hand holding her wrists together. He slid her panties off and kissed her stomach. He stared at the collection of hearts on her hip. He wiggled out of his jeans and laid beside her. "You okay?" He asked. She nodded rolling to her side to look at him. "What's wrong?" she scooted to him. "I've had this dream a million times. I say the say things I said we fuck and then I wake up." I frowned. "You meant the everything you said to me?" I asked brushing my nose against his.

His brushed up and down my hip and he nodded. "Every word."

Lillie smiled at Happy. "I'll be here when you wake up. Stop being weird. I'm here." She kissed him. "We don't have to if you aren't ready to." She said the thought just coming to her. He grumbled about he was fine and didn't need to wait on anything. "Prove it." She countered biting the inside of her cheek. He growled and pulled her panties off in a single motion. He hovered over Lillie, whispering all the dirty things he wanted to do to her. She turned beet red and Happy chuckled nibbling on her ear. He slid into her causing her to let out a low moan.

He sat back so she was straddling him. She was losing herself. Lillie bit his shoulder as he quickened his pace. She kissed the spot where she bit. "Happy." She gasped. He held her hips bucking his into hers. He laid her down and kissed her neck. "I love you." She said looking up at him. She kissed him. "You were joking about Mac, right?" He asked looking down at her suddenly very serious. She saw the hurt in his eyes. "Oh Hap, of course, baby." He growled and finished. She hugged Happy and he kissed the top of her head. "Happy," she pressed her forehead to his. "I married you. I haven't been with anyone else." Happy stared at her. His hand in hers their fingers laced together. "You're too good for me." He said quietly. Lillie laughed her chin resting on his chest. "That I am Lowman."

I heard the front door slam and the radio being turned on and I jumped. I looked at Happy and half smiled, "This is going to be fun." I pushed off of Happy and got dressed. Finding panties and a bra I pulled on an t shirt that had the arms cut out a I had worn it so much that it looked liked the sides had been torn out of it. I pulled on a ratty pair of old denim cutoffs. I put the chain around my neck that had Happy's reaper ring on it around my neck.

I made my way to Happy and pulled him out of the bed. Kissing him was like the best thing ever besides being behind him on his bike. "best get up before they find you like that." He smirked I found his clothes and handed them to him. I watched him get dressed admiring his muscles contracting as he moved. "You keep looking at me like that, Little girl and we won't leave this room." I gave him my best smile. I grabbed his hand and made my way down the steps to see the twins leaning on each other just a tad bit drunk.

I got water from the tap and started making sandwiches. "AY MA ye don hav ta do tha". Jude called out to me as he kicked his booted feet up on to the coffee table; I watched as James did the same thing. "Don listen ta him ma. I'd like a samwich." James said letting his head fall back on couch. "make one ya self." Jude said his eyes closed smacking James in the stomach.

I finished making the sandwiches and tea and brought them over to the twins. I had made and extra sandwich for Happy just in case he was hungry and left it on the counter. I turned on the radio and looked up the stairs at Happy He was sitting on the top step looking so uncertain. I motioned for him to come to me. He got up and closed the distance between us.I held his hand and lead him into the living room.

He watched Lillie dote on the boys. He saw the unconditional love she had for both of them. She had made sandwiches and tea for the boys, he realized she made one for him as well. It hit him that this was the life he could have had if he hadn't pushed her away.

Jude tilting his head back, so that he was looking at Happy upside down. "stop being fucking weird." " Its creeping us out." James added but he didn't look back at Happy. Happy grabbed the sandwich and the beer Lillie had set out for him and sat in a chair against the wall. All three of them turned their heads to look at him.

It was fucking creepy how in sync they were. Happy had a million questions and he was sure they probably did as well. Already, Happy could tell that Jude took after Lillie. He was open and inquisitive he seemed more easy going. "What I want to know, is how could you know and still not come around?" James asked. It was like he was looking right through him.

Happy knew no matter what answer he gave it wouldn't be a good enough one. "Wasn't ready. Wanted Lillie to be safe." James shot up off of the couch quivering, his hands balled into fists at his sides. "d'ya think she was ready to have twins in a new country where she didn't know anyone?" Happy stood up and jesus christ if the boy wasn't an inch or two taller than he was. "I didn't know what to do." Happy said flatly. James nodded. "Tha much is clear." He said still eyeing Happy up and down. "Jamie, sit down please." Lillie was between them the instant Happy stood up. Happy had a hand on her hip.

"How can you defend him, Ma?" James asked quietly glaring over her head at Happy. Jude snapped his fingers at Happy and nodded for them to go outside. Happy let go of Lillie's hip and made his way to Jude. When he reached his son he turned to watch mother and son. James had his forehead against Lillie's she was looking up at him holding his face in her hands.

"No matter what he's done Jame Ian, he's your da. You have his last name. You respect him. Ya hear me?" Her voice which started out soft and loving turned cold and hard. He nodded knowing that she'd beat the hell out of him if started any more shit. She stood on tip toe and kissed his forehead. "I love ya jam." He smiled hugging his mother. "AY recon I know tha by now ma." She turned to face Jude and Happy her eyes narrowing. "As for you, young man, don't think I don't know that you went behind my back and talked to McGee after I asked you not to." She said her eyes flashing at her youngest. She climbed over the couch pointing at Jude.

If looks could kill he would have been dead. Happy stepped away from Jude. "MA." He backed up as she stalked towards Jude. "We've talked about this." He said as his back it the wall, forcing him to stand his ground. She stood on the coffee table so that they were nose to nose. "God damn it boy, I will kill you myself." They stared each other down, Lillie's fist wrapped in Jude's shirt. Jude stared down at his mother unrelenting.

Happy stepped forward to disengage the stand-off but James caught his arm. "Ya don't want to do tha." James said nodding forward to his mother. He had come to learn that when Jude and Lillie butted heads its was best to stay in the background. And told his father so.

"We want to keep you safe!" Jude exclaimed throwing his hands up in the air. He pulled away from his mother frustrated. She sighed. They have had this conversation before, she wasn't going to have it again. "That isn't your job, my boy." Jude glowered. Lillie glowered back. Not backing down. She spoiled these boys giving in to almost everything they've wanted, she wanted the best for them she let them get away with murder up until now. She called them out on their shit. She had been a pain in the ass these last couple months. "We aren't babes." Jude said after a beat. Lillie scoffed breaking eye contact with him.

"You're my babes." He smiled. it was fucking annoying how she could get him so mad then break him of that anger. Lillie sighed, the twins knew she had been keeping something from them. "You're gunna hate me but We're moving to Charming after I finish this job. I figured that your graduating at the end of the month why not try for a change. Sides, Jimmy has McGee in his pocket this place is too dangerous for us."

The twins looked from each other to their mother. James hopped over the couch and picked his mother up. "About time!" James near shouted in Lillie's ear. Jude stood beaming. They had been trying to convince Lillie to move for a while. Secretly the boys wanted to prospect for the Redwood charter. They were bored with Ireland, America on the other hand had so much more promise. "Happy and I, well we're getting back together."

Lillie said looking at the twins. "We figured that." James said smirking at his mom then looking at Jude who had starting snickering. "You left the window open." James said laughing. Lillie turned bright red. "We could hear you." James said laughing. Lillie looked like she was going to cry and be sick. She had always been very private about her life in the bedroom. And having it thrown back into her face was too much for her.

"That's enough." Happy said coming to Lillie's rescue. She went to the kitchen and started washing dishes. Jude got up looking at Happy. "You might be fucking her and getting her to call you Daddy; but you sure as hell aren't ours, not in my eyes. You don't get to come in here and play that role." Jude said his face inches away from Happy's. James was in his brother's face as soon as the words left his mouth.

"Keep your fucking mouth." James said shoving Jude. Jude got back in James's face. "You're okay with this? YOU? okay with THAT, Him?!" Jude was dragged away from his brother and Happy by his mother who had the back of his shirt balled in her hand. They were outside in the garden in seconds. Happy followed as did James.

They watched from the bay window as Lillie got in Jude's face. He said something to her and she slapped him. The pair inside could hear it. Jude started screaming gesticulating wildly she stood under him pointing in his face she walked away and turned back to him. Lillie started gesturing as wildly as her son was. It was at that point that James started laughing. He was doubled over. The pair outside turned at the same time looking at the house.

James laughed for a good two minutes straight. Happy watched James carefully. "Tell me you see it?" James said waving to his mother and brother. Happy looked at the pair outside again. At this point they were making the same gestures and walking away from each other. Happy smiled and looked over at James. "They're exactly the same and neither of them see it." James said smiling. He glanced at Happy then back at his mom.

"Sorry about earlier, he's not taking this well." Happy chuckled. "I can see that. What about you?" Happy glanced over at James. "She's talked about you since before I can remember. She wouldn't have even mentioned you if she didn't love you or want you in our lives. If she thinks your worth it then you must be." James said shrugging. James lit a cigarette offering one to Happy nodded accepting the cigarette.

They smoked in silence for a while. The door slammed open and Lillie stormed in. "Put that fucking shit out." She growled stomping up stairs they heard a door slam and and the shower turn on. Jude came in "Fucking mad." He hissed "She's fucking mad." Happy leaned against the wall. Watching his youngest son. Jude took the cigarette from his brother and inhaled some of it. Happy pushed off the wall and looked around the room.

He stopped at a particular one of Lillie holding two infants. God she was tiny. The next one was her with the boys in Paris in front of the Eiffel Tower. The one beside it was a recent one: Lillie sat on a bike with the twins beside her the twins were standing beside bikes as well. All three were smiling wildly. Happy touched the photo. "Our first bikes." Jude commented behind him.
