It was October 20th, Friday, and Honest the Cat was trying uber hard to keep calm. Or, really, she was trying to calm down. There was nothing wrong. Everything was okay. The due date for her homework was moved to Monday. She was no longer going to the fair with that fan character that shan't be named because she had come up with an excuse, it being "because I need to work out your personality before I use you in another chapter". She had accidentally left her laptop at home, but she had worked out a plan of how she wouldn't be needing to use it all day anyway. Despite everything completely working out in Honest's favor, she still was worried for no reason. A better phrase for how she was feeling was "worked up". She felt worked up over... nothing?

Doctor Eggman would be gone for who knows how long, thankfully. He was called out to go work on Sonic Forces, which was already done for the most part by the way, and he said he would be gone for two weeks max. Vanilla taught them every other day. On the days that they didn't have Vanilla, the students would have a substitute and a healthy stack of worksheets.

The bell schedule was, in outdated terms, "out of whack" since clubs met every Friday. Honest didn't think she was part of the art club since she hadn't paid her dues, but maybe she was wrong. Honest was only 3,000 views away from 10,000 views, the minimum she could have in order to earn money from HedgeTube according to a new rule HedgeTube had. Once that happened, maybe she could afford to pay them. Even if she couldn't, she could always be in art club next year. Imagine having money to spend? That would be amazing! Honest thought about all the things she would do.

For sure, Honest would save up for a PS4. And a PS Vita. And a Wii. That much was obvious. She needed Sonic Forces. She needed SatBK. She needed Sonic Colors! DX Also, she would buy food and drinks so she wouldn't starve at school. She would pay off all of those debts she owed to cranky fan characters. She would donate to a charity to help Nintendo fans see the light! Honest fell asleep on her keyboard, thinking of all this.

When Honest woke up, the bell was ringing! She turned off her computer so quick that even Sonic would've had trouble keeping up. Honest grabbed her bag and ran out into the hallway and down the stairs, diving into the restroom.

Before Honest could even sit down, ookey ook started dripping from the ceiling, and she immediately knew who it was.

"Mephiles?" She looked up and liquid darkness fell in her eye. "Ouch! Ew, watch where you're dripping!" Honest exclaimed.

"Sorry." Mephiles dropped to the ground in front of her in the form of Shadow. There wasn't much space in the tiny bathroom cell with both of them in there.

"Hey! You can't just pop into the girl's bathroom whenever you want to, you know," Honest told him.

"There's.. something wrong with it?" the Embodiment of Darkness asked her.

"Yes!" Honest shouted. "Get out!" Mephiles shrugged and melted into a puddle, flowing underneath the door and out into the hallway. Honest sighed.

Fifth period, Honest was supposed to be finishing up her drawing of a building block structure she had made yesterday, but she had already finished it. Instead, she just sat there stupidly. She would work on her vocab, but she didn't have her laptop like she had typed earlier. So, instead, she just sat there silently for 45 minutes.

You're probably wondering: "How are you typing this if you don't have your computer?" Well, I'm typing all of this 4th period. This is what's going to happen... I guess. Leave your theory in (a review). xD (Actually don't because that was years ago, and I have long since forgotten what ended up happening.)

Honest had a class meeting that activity period, so she headed straight there as soon as the bell had rung. Shadow was sitting at a table all by himself. Honest went to go sit by him.

It was now Monday, October 23rd, 2017, and Honest accidentally got a glass of tea as well as a carton of milk for lunch. "Hey, I- I mean- fan character that is not to be named! Do you want a glass of tea?"

Of course they refused. Honest sighed. Shadow sat down beside her with his tray.

"Do you want tea?" Honest asked him. He shook his head "no".

"Dang it! I got a tea, but I don't want it, and nobody will take it!" Shadow just made a noise like he laughed and took a gulp of his own tea.

Honest, Shadow, and the fan character not to be named were the only ones at the table. The fan character's owner, Shadris0719 on DeviantArt, had told Honest the other day that she didn't want her character to be in her fan fiction. This was terrible because Honest had already used this character a... whole lot. O.O The good thing to come out of all this, however, was that now Honest knew never to ask for permission to use a fan character ever again! xD Okay, maybe not, but still- she was going to hold out on asking danny9582 for permission to use Daniela. (Please forgive me...!)

To change the subject, Honest made the mistake of drinking all of her milk to make up for the lack of food she had, and ended up feeling like she wanted to fall asleep during class. They were supposed to have chicken sandwiches, but when Honest finally made it to the kitchen, they ran out. How does a school cafeteria run out of food and it still be totally okay? Honest thought that there must be a law or something saying that a school had to feed them, but why didn't that law matter to them? Honest ended up having to drink milk as a placeholder for the food that she didn't get.

Just like the last time she had guzzled a whole carton of milk instead of eating food for lunch, Honest ended up feeling starved again in no time at all. But, since her belly had already been growling before lunch, she was especially hungry this time around.

"Shadow... Please tell me you have a dollar. I will pay you back 10 fold once I'm a billionaire..." Honest pleaded, tugging on Shadow's arm. It was seventh period, and they were supposed to be working on speeches they were writing. It was incredibly hard to type when you had a starving cat attached to your right arm.

"If I had a dollar, I would give it to you. But I don't. So let go of me already!" He waved his arm, and Honest just moved with it.

"I will buy the biggest chocolate chip cookie they have... or maybe I will buy a package of those cheesy crackers. I love those. ^w^ Or maybe I will buy a toaster pastry and put it out in the sun to toast between classes..."

Shadow was going to remind her that the sun wasn't actually warm enough to work as an industrial-sized toaster oven, but Honest had then finally decided to let go of him just long enough to turn and ask Akane for a dollar.

"Do you have any money?" The orange cat shook her head.

"I wouldn't think I'd have money. I'm your fan character after all. Maybe you should ask someone else." Honest shook her hand thankfully and latched onto Shadow's arm yet again.

"You're back," he commented, sounding annoyed. Except, well, he always sounded annoyed.

Honest nodded.

"M-hm! I'm going to ask Sonic next period if he has any money," she told him.

"He won't. I would ask Vector. He has that TV show, remember?"

Honest puffed out her lip in thought. "Hm... Yeah, but, isn't he greedy or something?"

"Greedy?" Shadow repeated her as if he were making sure he didn't hear her wrong. "Sure he likes money, but he also likes helping others. It'll be worth a try at least."

"Okay," Honest told him, smiling. It took her no time to go back into a good mood despite how hungry she was at the moment. "I hope the snack cabinet is still selling after the final bell." Shadow shrugged. That would be the unknown in this whole operation, they guessed.

Eighth period, Vector, along with several other characters like Silver and Knuckles, showed up a whole thirty minutes late because they suddenly had to go record some extra voiced lines for Sonic Forces, even though it didn't make much sense to Honest. After all, didn't their voice actors have to go record lines, not them? Maybe they were partially connected to their actors somehow? I really don't know, but anyway, what you need to know is that Honest wasn't able to ask Vector for money because he just wasn't there. Honest decided against it. There was really no point. It was near the end of the day, and Honest would be able to snag something from somebody's tray at the cafe later.

Sixth period the next day, there was a random fire drill that required Honest abandon the wedding toast she had been typing and run out of the building with the rest of the people in her class. Luckily they were able to return to the building in time for Honest to finish her toast and print it out for her next class, where she would be presenting it to her classmates. The wedding Honest wrote a toast for was a theoretical wedding between Vector and another student. He requested that his bride be Vanilla, the teacher. It would be easier since she knew the teacher a little better than some of the fan characters that were made regularly on DeviantArt and made up a good portion of this class. Of course, none of them shipped themselves or had their owners ship them with Vector. That poor croc.

Sonic had fun with his toast because he happened to draw Shadow's name from the hat. Shadow would be the bride, Sonic his Maid of Honor, and Espio the groom. Remind me to draw a picture of the wedding some time. :3

Blaze had to give a toast to Manic and Scourge's wedding. "Can I say that you look beautiful in that dress, Manic? I can't help but smile when I see you two together."

"Me, too..." Honest whispered, smiling at the idea of Manourge. At first she preferred Fleetourge, but Manourge had been growing on her lately, and she had read a fan fiction or two about it, too, so that had really influenced her to change her mind about it.

Honest spent the rest of the day trying to avoid... somebody who couldn't be named (I'm still really bummed out about that), but it was extremely hard when she shared two classes with her.

REMOVED DUE TO BEING OFF-TOPIC

The teacher moved their test to Monday, and instead they would play a game to review for the test. Honest lost, getting third place. She had been first place for the majority of the game until the last two questions under the screen name ":3". Anyway, Honest left thirty minutes later to head to her next class, where all she did was sit there and work on her fan fiction since she got all of her work for Spanish finished yesterday. Eventually she reached that point in her story where the events she described in words on-screen became what was happening then, in the present. Honest hated it when that happened. :( Honest thought it might be good time to end the chapter...

Thanks for reading! Please (leave a review if you enjoyed)! I really appreciate any and all feedback. There will be a new chapter out shortly. You guys are great. :)
