O Ball: Huh..I think he's dead. Oh well. I suppose..

SOM: Who said I was dead?

O Ball: Oooh...great..you're alive..

SOM: Of course I fucking am!

O Ball: I honestly thought this story was going belly-up..

SOM- For a moment I thought so too, then I realized I simply cannot start a story and NOT finish it! So here's Chapter Seven, y'all! ENJOY!

Class 1A turned out to be easy to find, despite UA being absolutely gargantuan. One of the benefits of being nearly omnipotent that Izuki had learnt to appreciate. As such, when she entered the class, only three others were present.

Shouto Todoroki, son of the Number Two Hero, Endeavor, was one of those. Midoriya Izuki..quirk, temperature control. He thought, narrowing his eyes at the greenette. Her powers are similar to my own. She will be a definite obstacle.

The second person present was Momo Yaoyorozu. And she immediately identified the greenette as the one who had topped the UA Entrance Exam. Just looking at her, Momo could tell something was off about Izuki. Both her eyes and skin glowed unnaturally. It wasn't bright enough to be noticeable to any but the sharpest observers.

And lastly, within the class, was the younger brother of the pro hero Ingenium, Iida Tenya.

Seeing her, Tenya remembered how he had gotten his own acceptance letter, in which it was revealed that there was indeed a secret marking system based around truly heroic actions like saving other examinees, even if it seemed impossible and pointless, like the Zero Pointer.

I must apologize! He thought to himself, getting up and walking over to Izuki. Her eyes almost immediately shifted to him, as if she had known he was going to be coming.

"Ah..Iida-san." Izuki said, sounding none too pleased to see him in the same class. Understandable, after last week. He thought, as he bowed rigidly, causing Izuki's eyes to widen.

"Please forgive my words during the Entrance Examination!" he pleaded. "I judged you unfairly, when you were the one to figure out the true purpose of the exam! I am ashamed to admit this, but clearly, you are the superior candidate!" He took a deep breath after that. He had said what he wanted to say.

"Uh..dude." Izuki tapped his shoulder, making him straighten back up. The greenette was smiling widely. "That was last week! Water under the bridge!" she stuck her hand out in greeting. "Name's Izuki Midoriya. Call me Izuki!"

"I-I see.." Iida was a bit stunned at how easily she had forgiven his harsh words, but he was glad that she had done so. "Then please call me Tenya!"

Izuki could already tell that she was going to be having some heavy competition in this class, as far as her 'quirk' was concerned.

Todoroki Shouto, with his ridiculously overpowered quirk, Half Hot Half Cold, was already ahead of her in that respect. Momo Yaoyorozu, sitting just three desks to her right, also had an insanely versatile quirk. Having the ability to create whatever she needs from the lipids in her body...she made a mental note to try to replicate this quirk later, to try and achieve a similar result. No wonder they had been the only two students from Class 1A to enter through recommendations.

Tenya had a moderately powerful quirk. Combined with his well maintained muscles, and the incredible speeds to which he could push himself, he'd be an excellent pro hero when he graduated. Throughout the next hour, Izuki continued her observation of every one of her classmates, noting the interesting quirks to see whether she could do the same, and telepathically rifling through their heads to glean useful information about strengths and weaknesses.

Many seemed to consider her as a serious competitor for them. Seeing as she had the highest score out of anyone in the Entrance Exam, she figured that made sense.

Now one of the latter was walking upto her desk, a big grin on her face, and wide black eyes. She pulled behind her a boy with spiky red hair.

"Hello! I'm Mina Ashido! Pleased to meet ya!" she held out her hand.

"Izuki Midoriya." replied the Half Q. "Pleased to meet ya too! And who's the loving husband?"

Mina gasped and blushed a unique shade of lilac. The boy was right behind her, his cheeks becoming almost as red as his hair. "Oh uh..Ejiro Kirishima!" he managed to say.

Izuki laughed at the awkwardness. "Just teasing guys. Chill!"

Mina pouted, but laughed good naturedly a second later.

Katsuki Bakugo entering the classroom with a scowl on his face was not surprising at all. Upon seeing her, however, his scowl deepened, and he began to emanate killing intent and bloodlust, causing everyone in the class to turn towards him uncomfortably.

Izuki merely waved.

The next one to enter the class was a face considerably more welcome than the one that had entered a minute ago. Uraraka Ochako. She saw Izuki waving at Katsuki, and brightened, thinking Izuki was waving at her. "Hi!"

Izuki's eyes turned to her, and the Half Q smiled. "Oh hi! You made it!"

"Yeah! Amazing isn't it?! UA is so~ big..." Ochako breathed in awe, stretching her 'so' for about ten seconds. "Congratulations by the way, Izuki! Getting first place..man that must have been awesome, right?"

"Yeah. But hey, you did good too! Getting fourth isn't bad either! Managing to get more than Mr. Manly Red Head over there," she shook her head at the redhead in question, who was currently attempting to make conversation with Bakugo, and failing hard. "is quite the feat. His quirk, objectively speaking, is stronger than yours."

Uraraka frowned. "How so?"

"Literally. His quirk is Hardening. Meaning he can quite literally turn himself into a rock that can take punishment for hour after hour."

"O-oh.."

"But you managed to get more points than even that living, walking tank! That's something to be proud of, Uraraka!"

The anti gravity girl nodded happily at the praise.

The last student to enter the class seemed to be nothing special. At least compared to every other student Izuki had seen. But upon telepathically scanning her, Izuki couldn't help but bury her head in her desk, and laugh silently into the crook of her arms.

The student in question was a tall, well built girl with jet black eyes and pale white skin. The feature that stood out most, however, was her very long and very luscious hair. All green, and incredibly thick, they looked like vines. As it turned out, that was exactly what they were.

Izuki had learned from her telepathy that this girl was Ibara Shiozaki, sixteen years old. Her quirk was Vines, which was exactly what it sounded like. Her hair could grow thick and large, penetrating into the ground and easily capable of capturing and restraining villains.

And she was religious. Very religious.

Which meant she believed in God.

And that had Izuki in tears. If you ignored the fact that O Ball hadn't exactly outright admitted it, the blunette was technically God.

And Ibara believed in an all seeing, all knowing, all powerful, benevolent God. As opposed to the childishly selfish O Ball.

"If you're here to socialize, then leave." said a tired voice from just outside the door. Izuki stopped laughing, and instantly snapped her head upwards, extending her cosmic awareness to try and identify who was talking.

The culprit it appeared, was a man in a yellow, caterpillar like sleeping bag. He looked like a hobo, to be honest, with stringy black hair, tired eyes with bags under them, and some kind of scarf wrapped around his neck and shoulders.

"It took you nearly ten minutes to settle down." he said in a weary tone, as he raised a juice packet to his mouth, and sucked it dry in a single gulp. "You kids are completely irrational." he commented, as he opened up the zipper of his sleeping bag, and stepped out.

"Good Morning. I am Shouta Aizawa, your homeroom teacher." he declared. "This might be sudden,..but put on your PE dresses and meet me in the ground within the next ten minutes. You'll find the dresses in your respective locker rooms. Bye." So saying, he headed out, not allowing the students to say even a single word to him.

Izuki quickly got up, and began to leave the room. Unlike everyone else, who seemed to be frozen in shock, Izuki knew whom she was dealing with.

Shouta Aizawa, also known as the underground pro hero Eraserhead. His quirk, Erasure, allowed him to erase the quirks of all those he has in his direct line of sight. Only mutant type quirks were immune to it.

He had expelled last year's entire class for lacking any potential or drive to be heroes.

The greenette shivered slightly. Definitely not someone to be fucked with.

She entered the locker room, and, quietly glancing around to make sure no one else was there, snapped her fingers, instantly switching her school uniform with the PE uniform. She then proceeded to turn herself (and her clothes) intangible, dropping down into the first floor, whereupon she erased the minds of all who had seen her drop down through the ceiling, and inserting new memories, in which she was speed walking down the stairs.

Having accomplished this deception, she walked out onto the P.E ground, having taken all of thirteen seconds to get from her classroom to Aizawa.

The teacher looked impressed by her speed. "Good." He commented. "I might not expel you today."

"Hey, where is Izuki?" asked Mina, as she changed alongside the other female students of Class 1A.

"I'm wondering that too, ribbit." croaked Tsuyu Asui.

"I think I saw her down at the field when I left the class." said Jiro, whose seat in class had been next to the windows. "That's not possible." retorted Momo. "She left the class just a minute before you. To change and be down to the field, she'd have to have reached here, put on her PE dress, and ran down to the ground floor, and out to the ground in just ten or so seconds."

"Weeell, we don't know what quirk she has.." Mina reasoned.

"Temperature control." Ochako replied from the back of the room, getting everyone's attention. "Izuki's quirk lets her control the air temperature around her." the brunette explained, "She can freeze and heat up the air ahead of her, or in a straight line towards her target, freezing them or burning them."

"That certainly sounds powerful.." Jiro mused.

"I disagree." Momo replied. "It sounds like a toned down version of Todoroki-san's quirk."

"Oh yeah, what's his deal, anyway? He seemed so...cold."

"Todoroki-san's quirk is Half Hot, Half Cold. He can produce ice from his right side, and fire from his left." Momo explained, causing many students to gasp. "Holy shit that's OP!" Jiro exclaimed. "Cold indeed!" Mina chuckled.

"A toned down version of Todoroki's quirk?" Ochako suddenly burst out laughing, causing everyone to look at her weirdly. "Sorry, but that's just wrong." she said. "Izuki's quirk is insanely powerful."

Momo frowned. "Can she create a mountain sized glacier?"

Ochako's eyes widened, along with everyone else's. "S-seriously? Todoroki can do that?"

The Yaoyorozu heiress nodded. "Indeed. He froze half the battle center during our recommendation exam."

"Crazy.." commented Toru Hagakure.

"Ok lesson learnt, never mess with Todoroki." Jiro noted.

"Well,..Izuki made it snow in our battle center." Ochako said.

"EH?!" the entire locker room cried. Momo looked starstruck. "And she isn't a recommended student?!" Jiro cried. "What the hell?!"

That explains her high score. Thought Mina and Momo simultaneously.

Unknown to the girls, the same conversation had also been taking place in the boy's locker room.

"For real?" Kirishima breathed.

"Indeed, Kirishima-kun. Izuki Midoriya is certainly no joke. She is incredibly powerful, and will make an amazing hero!" Tenya confirmed, his hands moving robotically.

"Tch, What the hell are you talking about!" Katsuki roared. "That bitch is quirkless!"

"She most certainly is not! And why are you using such vulgar language in such a respectable institution!"

"I do whatever the fuck I fucking please!"

"She changed the weather? Is that even possible?!" Sero asked, disbelieving.

"I can attest to it's possibility." Tokoyami declared. "I was in the same battle center as Midoriya, and she did indeed create a blizzard that brought down the Zero Pointer robot."

Kaminari gasped. "Damn, that's some power! D'you think I can score with her?"

"That is impossible." Tokoyami said in a dark tone. "You are simple minded and straight forward. Midoriya is a complex enigma, one that even I have trouble with solving. You would be lucky to have her as an acquaintance at the least."

"What did you even say?" Kaminari asked, his head cocked in confusion.

Tokoyami simply shook his head. "Simple minded..."

"A very shiny enigma!" Aoyama added his two cents to the conversation.

"Whatever the case, we must get back down to the PE Ground!" declared Iida, motioning everyone out of the door. "We must not keep Aizawa-sensei waiting!"

"A Quirk Apprehension Test?!" cried the class, with the exception of Izuki, Todoroki, and Bakugo.

"Yes. If you have done any physical tests in middle school, you'll know what I am talking about. But back then, you were not allowed to use your quirks, due to the government's irrational policies." Aizawa explained, looking each student in the eye. "At UA, there are no such restrictions. Here, we test quirks to their limit, and beyond. Midoriya Izuki." called Aizawa, taking out a ball from...somewhere.

The greenette stepped forward, hands in the pockets of her PE uniform. "Yes, sensei."

"How far was your softball throw in middle school?"

"About a hundred metres." Izuki replied.

"Try it using your quirk." The underground hero threw the ball to Izuki, and gestured at the ground, where there was a circle of white, with range markers going out from around it. "As long as you stay inside the circle, anything goes."

Izuki stepped into the ring, and smiled. The first challenge, is it? She thought wryly. Aizawa is quite an observant teacher, and he will notice if I hold back.

She took a deep breath. The air around her cooled. Aizawa's eyes widened by a tiny margin.

"All right, here I goo~!"

Izuki launched the ball upward. It shot forward, flying far across the PE ground, but staying at a low altitude, instead of up into the clouds. Aizawa stared at his screen, before turning it about face to show the rest of the class her score.

785.8 m

"Know your limits first. It shall form a rational basis for further development."

Everyone's jaw had dropped. And Aizawa began to have doubts about just what quirk Izuki possessed. Her application said her quirk was temperature control..was that a lie?

His thoughts on Izuki were interrupted by his students, who had begun talking excitedly. "Ooh, this is so exciting!" Ochako cried, jumping up and down in joy. "We can use our quirks! Hell yeah, this is going to be fun!" Mina declared.

Oh is it? Thought Aizawa, now grinning madly. Time to burst their bubble.

But before he could speak, a certain spiky blonde had jumped forward, his eyes blank and his face contorted in rage. "DEKU! WHAT THE FU-"

Before he could move any farther, and before Aizawa could even activate his quirk and capture the boy, Izuki had moved forward, calmly sidestepped the raging boy, and kneed him brutally in the stomach, causing him to drop to the ground, spitting and clutching his abdomen, while Izuki watched him squirm without the slightest change in her calm expression. She then turned and bowed to Aizawa, who was looking at her in askance.

"Forgive me, Aizawa sensei. He's a childhood rival of mine." she said.

Aizawa said nothing, simply nodding, and walking over to the blonde, who was hunched over on the ground. "Don't do that again. You hear me?"

Bakugo grimaced, but nodded.

"Good. Now," turning his attention to the rest of the students. "If you think you can enjoy and have fun for the rest of your study here at UA, then please get your bag and leave." He said. No one moved a muscle.

His grin returned.

"So all of you wish to stay, huh? Very well. But the one who comes last in these tests, will be judged to have no potential, and will be expelled on the spot."

Everyone went pale, and Aizawa was once again reminded of just why he loved this job, despite it being downright tiring, and even frustrating sometimes.

The tests began in earnest after that, with every student resolving to do their absolute best, and better.

First was the grip strength test.

Mezo Shoji seemed to be on the top in this test, as he gripped with all eight of his hands, with a ridiculously high strength of 540 kg. It seemed unbeatable. Until Momo created an industrial hydraulic clamp, and gained a grip strength of over 1000 kg.

Izuki managed to get an impressive 450 kg on the dot. Definitely more than any other student, but much less than Shoji and Yaoyorozu.

Aizawa got a wierd feeling, but he couldn't quite identify it then.

The next test was Long Jump. Tsuyu excelled at this test thanks to her quirk, 'Frog', which gave her most, if not all, the qualities of a frog, including powerful hind legs that could propel her upward and forward to an incredible height. She cleared the sand box. Momo created a jet pack, based on one of her family company's support item of the same type. Using it, she too cleared the box.

Izuki again managed to get an impressive score, relative to her quirk, anyway, which provided no physical augmentation whatsoever. Yet she showcased speed and strength not many students in the class had, save for Sato and Shoji.

The feeling increased once more for Aizawa. The feeling that something just wasn't right.

Izuki honestly couldn't deny that she was enjoying it. Seeing Aizawa's mind squirm at the wrongness of something he couldn't quite identify, and knowing that it was her. Watching her classmates try to puzzle out how she was so fast and strong. It was exhilarating. Like playing a game, knowing that you're going to win no matter what anyone does, because you're cheating.

It was actually fun, and Izuki could understand why O Ball liked to play such games.

So, knowing all this, she decided to push the limits on just how far she could go, before they began suspecting that she was more than they thought she was.

And the perfect opportunity would come soon enough.

Aizawa had finally identified it. And in hindsight, it seemed pretty damn obvious. The feeling that he had, was the feeling that one of his students was not giving it their all. That one of them was holding back. And that student's name? Izuki Midoriya. He was surprised he hadn't noticed it earlier. The way she surpassed the majority of her class, but always stayed well behind those whose quirks gave them a natural advantage for a particular test, the calm look on her face when Aizawa announced the consequences for not performing up to his expectations. And of course, the fact that she had reached the PE Ground in less than a minute.

All of this pointed to one, inescapable conclusion. Izuki was hiding the true nature of her quirk. It was registered as Temperature Control, and indeed, the chill that he had felt when she launched the ball into the sky during his demonstration test proved it. But..that feeling niggled in the back of his head again. She didn't look like she was using her full power. Hell, she didn't even look tense. Her face was dead calm, not a single line of effort.

So he resolved to change the pairing for the 50 metre dash. Rather than have her going against the resident hothead Katsuki Bakugo, he'd put her up against someone whose quirk, like hers, didn't give any advantage in physical activity. Make it as hard as possible for her to hide her unnatural speed.

"Izuki Midoriya, and Toru Hagakure."

"Oh no.." Toru moaned dejectedly, and cupped her face in her hands. As she did, she was reminded of her 'lucky' birthmark, one that, alongside the rest of her body, had faded into invisibility. A small, dark circle on the palm of her hand. It had puzzled her parents when they first noticed it, as neither of them had the same, and for a brief time, Toru had thought that it might be her Quirk.

It was only after her body turned invisible for everyone else observing her, that she realized that it was no quirk. Just a birthmark. But for some reason, it didn't make her sad. It did the exact opposite, cheering her up instead. She felt, for lack of a better word, 'lucky' because of it.

Well today, it seemed, that luck had ran out. Because not only had Aizawa sensei threatened to expel the person with the last place, who, from all the tests Toru had done so far, might just prove to be her, but now, she was being forced to directly compete, with the student who was probably the strongest and fastest in the class, without a quirk augmenting said characteristics. Izuki..why oh why today?

Toru took her place with no energy whatsoever. She had given up, and knew that when the tests ended, she'd be at the very bottom and expelled. She wondered what her parents would say. What her friends from school would say.

"Hey."

Toru snapped her head up at Izuki. And gasped, staggering back slightly.

The greenette's eyes were locked on hers. Then, just as quickly, they slid away to look at her cheeks.

"Let's give it our all! And don't give up, eh?" Izuki smiled warmly, and slapped her back.

Toru, for her part, was downright shaken. For that brief moment, before Izuki's eyes had left her own, those emerald orbs had stared directly at Toru's own brown ones. And the way they had fallen away, it was almost intentional.

Did..did she just see me?

"Go!" cried the robot, standing at the end of the track.

Izuki immediately took off, and a fraction of a second later, a stunned Toru followed.

Knew it. Aizawa almost grinned wolfishly. It was slight. Very slight. But visible to his trained eyes. Izuki was indeed running at just over the pace a normal person could maintain. But the way she did it, it was forced. Like she was intentionally keeping herself moving at a constant pace, instead of accelerating or decelerating.

"5.6 seconds." The robot droned as Izuki passed it, and slowed down, not a drop of sweat on her.

"8.5 seconds." said the robot as Toru passed it just a few seconds later. Izuki smiled and headed over, congratulating her and whispering to her about something, while the rest of the class looked on, stunned at her speed.

A few more tests later- all of which Izuki excelled at as they were endurance tests- the entire class stood in front of Aizawa as they waited with bated breath for the results.

Mina wasn't too concerned with her own performance. Per the class genius, Yaomomo herself, the pinkette's performance was good enough that she wouldn't come anywhere near last place.

But she was concerned about one of her newest friends.

Toru was very much like her. Bubbly, fun loving, socially outgoing, and of course, shipper extraordinaire. But her quirk, Invisibility, gave no advantage to her for the mostly physical tests they had taken today. It was a miracle that she even passed the Entrance Exam, seeing as it was against robots. Toru had explained that every robot had an off switch just near the back of their heads, and this was what had allowed her to pass the exam with a score as high as hers.

So Mina stood as close as she could to Toru, to provide her some support, in case she got expelled, on the first day.

The points chart popped up as a holographic presentation, from Aizawa's personal pad. And it was no surprise to the class who were the top four.

1. Momo Yaoyorozu

2. Shouto Todoroki

3. Izuki Midoriya

4. Katsuki Bakugo

Momo simply smiled, knowing her result before it was even displayed. Her versatile quirk basically guaranteed her position. She gazed at the second position holder, Shouto Todoroki. His face was like a statue, perfectly neutral, betraying nothing. But he did ocassionally glance at the Number Three, Izuki, who, like her was smiling calmly. The same could not be said of Bakugo. He was practically seething, sparks of nitroglycerin going off dangerously in his palms.

Mina groaned as she came to the last position.

20. Toru Hagakure.

Beside her, the invisible girl shook, and it tears began to fall from nowhere.

"By the way, I was lying about the expulsion."

...

"WHAT?!" The entire class erupted. Toru gasped, and Mina swore she heard some kind of electric buzz! as her friend's brain short circuited.

"I...I..sh..she.." Toru mumbled, too stunned to speak coherently. Mina simply hugged her. "Yay!" she cried.

This seemed to bring Toru out of her stupor. "She was right..." the invisible girl muttered. "She was right!"

"Who?" Mina asked confusedly, before suddenly stumbling, as Toru pulled away from her, and ran over to Izuki, glomping her.

"Woah!" Izuki stumbled, but managed to catch herself. Mina stared, not understanding. "You were right.." the girl muttered, as Mina moved in closer to hear. "He was lying..."

"Of course he was." Izuki chuckled. "I thought it was obvious."

Mina gasped. She knew?!

"Now, all of you, go back to class. You'll find the curriculum and other things on your desks. Izuki, stay back." Aizawa spoke tiredly.

Everyone obeyed, and threw worried glances in Izuki's direction. The latter merely smiled and tapped her foot continuously against the ground, her arms crossed against her chest.

When everyone left, Aizawa turned to her with a calculating gaze.

"What is it, Aizawa sensei?" asked Izuki, smiling warmly at her teacher's cold countenance.

The words that came next were not what she was expecting at all.

"You're expelled."
