Chapter One
Sonic and Tails were racing each other when five Egg Fighters jumped toward them. "I'll take two, you take the rest." Sonic said. The Egg Fighters tried to punch Sonic but the blue hedgehog dodged out of the way before he kicked one of the Egg Fighters into another, causing them to explode. Tails blew through the rest of the Egg Fighters with a Dash Boost, knocking down the Botniks. "We did it!" Tails said. "This can only mean one thing. Robotnik is back." Sonic said. "What does he want to do this time?" Tails asked. "I don't know, but we'll be ready." Sonic said.
Chapter Two
On the Death Egg, Dr Robotnik was not having a good time. "AAAARGHHH! I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!" Robotnik screamed. He immediately traced Sonic and Tails' footprints to where they went. The tracker showed that the two annoying animals were back in their house. "Let's see if I can't draw them out again." Robotnik said. He pulled up his Botnik interface. "Iny, meene, mini, Sandworm." The Sandworm was deployed from the Death Egg and the pod flew it down to Earth below. Robotnik would have that Chaos Emerald Sonic stole from him no matter what.
Chapter Three
Sonic and Tails were in Tom and Maddie's house. Suddenly, the floor broke open and the Sandworm appeared. "What is that?!" Tails asked. "It's another one of those Badniks." Sonic said. The Sandworm tried to ram Sonic and Tails with its spikes but they dodged the robot's attacks. Then the Sandworm shot it's lasers at them. Sonic flipped through the air, curled into a ball, before he struck the Sandworm in the head, taking out the Botnik. "Yeah, take that, Ro-Butt-Nik." Sonic said. On the Death Egg, Dr Robotnik screamed in fury. "AAARGHHH! THAT WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITES!" Robotnik slammed his fists down on his desk. Then he had an idea. "Yes, that is it. Sonic will face his own evil reflection. Ha ha ha!" Robotnik said.
Chapter Four
The next day, Sonic and Tails were in their bed when a Ring portal opened and an Echidna came out. "Tails, stay back, I'll handle him." Sonic said. "Wait-" But Sonic had had enough of those rotten animals. They had killed Longclaw and now they were probably coming for him. Sonic charged at the echidna and pounced on him but the echidna used his surprisingly superhuman strength to wrestle Sonic off of him. Sonic jumped at the echidna, knocking him to the ground, but he got back up and tried to pin Sonic to the wall but Sonic sent the echidna flying with a roundhouse kick. "Stop!" someone said. A pink hedgehog came out of the portal. "I am Amy the Hedgehog and this is Knuckles the Echidna. We came to you to help us defeat Robotnik." Amy said. "Oh, well, I'm sorry I beat you up." Sonic said. "It's just that there was a tribe of echidnas that attacked me before I came to Earth. That's why I became so defensive." "It's okay." Knuckles said. "All of us look the same, so you probably wouldn't know I wasn't part of the tribe attacking you." "I guess so." Sonic said. "What's Robotnik's evil plan this time?" Tails asked. "Robotnik has a massive space station orbiting Earth. It's the Death Egg." Amy said. "We need you to help us destroy it." "So Robotnik has a space station now, like the Death Star? Then why is he coming to Earth?" Sonic asked. "He came because he needs the Chaos Emerald you stole from him for more power." Amy said. "Okay, here we go again." Sonic said. "Guess it's time to kick Ro-Butt-Nik's butt a third time."
Chapter Five
They had snuck on the Death Egg with their Rings and split up for two missions. Sonic and Amy would go and destroy the Death Egg's power core and Tails and Knuckles would go and capture Robotnik. Sonic and Amy snuck in through the air vents. "Why didn't you try to do it yourselves?" Sonic asked. "Because the Death Egg has too many Botniks. Me and Knuckles would have been captured." Amy said. "Besides, you have a power unlike anything I've ever seen before. You can go fast and you have Chaos Energy. That's why we needed you. Also, I've never seen another hedgehog before." "Yeah, neither have I. I thought I was the only one." Sonic said. He tried hard not to blush as they dropped into the power core chamber. "Wait, did you only come here because of this?" "Yeah, why else would we be coming to your planet?" Amy asked. "Doesn't matter." Sonic said. "Just thought that maybe-" Suddenly, something jumped behind them. They turned around to see a Botnik. But this one was different. It looked just like Sonic. "Who are you?" Sonic said. "I am Metal Sonic." the Botnik said. "Surrender or die." Metal Sonic shot plasma beams from his fingertips. Sonic pushed Amy out of the way and they both ducked as the plasma beams cut into the wall. "Organics are weak. A bunch of fragile bones and blood." Metal Sonic said as he blasted at Sonic and Amy, but they dodged. Sonic tried to punch Metal Sonic but Metal Sonic countered every blow and punched Sonic twice in the face before kicking him down. Sonic got back up and kicked Metal Sonic in the thigh but it didn't do much. Metal Sonic grabbed Sonic by the neck before he punched him in the face, smashed him against the wall, before he kicked Sonic away. "Robots are superior. Metal plates fused together so strong only a nuke can damage it." Sonic tried to Spin Dash Metal Sonic but the evil robot Spin Dashed him, too. Sonic and Metal Sonic kept trying to Spin Dash each other until Metal Sonic grabbed Sonic's arm and threw him away. "Whoa! You're a lot stronger than I thought you were." Sonic said. "I was created for the sole purpose for destroying you." Metal Sonic said. "Now you and your friend will die." Amy tried to whack Metal Sonic with her hammer but Metal Sonic wrenched the hammer away before kicking Amy into the wall. "No!" Sonic said. Sonic glowed with Chaos Energy and zapped Metal Sonic with the stuff. Metal Sonic used a forcefield to protect himself before he dropped the forcefield to fire at Sonic. Sonic dodged the plasma beams and then he had an idea. The forcefield needs to go down whenever he fires at me. That's my opening. Sonic thought. "We don't feel pain. Blood does not flow through thin tubes in our bodies." Metal Sonic said before he dropped down his forcefield and that's when Sonic rushed in, and ripped off his arm. "Even for someone who doesn't feel pain, this is gonna hurt." Sonic said. He plunged the arm into Metal Sonic's power core. Metal Sonic shuddered and sparked before he collapsed and exploded. Suddenly, hordes of Botniks came in and one of them had Tails and Knuckles in a cage. "You there, hands up, now!" an Egg Fighter said. Sonic and Amy reluctantly surrendered. Then Robotnik came in and grinned. "Sonic. So good to see you again."
Chapter Six
Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles were taken to the command bridge. "Give me the Chaos Emerald and I'll let you go." Robotnik said. "Why the hell would I ever do that?" Sonic asked. "I don't care about this stupid green blue planet. I'd just as soon never live there again but I know how important Tom and Maddie must be to you, so, give me the Chaos Emerald or your home goes boom." Robotnik said, his hand on the Death Ray button. "Don't give it to him!" Tails said. "Your choice, Sonic, your choice." Robotnik said. "I'm gonna count to 3. 1, 2,-" Suddenly, a ring portal appeared and Tom came in. "Get away from my friends." Tom said. Then he punched Robotnik in the face. There was also Crazy Carl and a bunch of other people. They threw everything they had at Robotnik, hats, wallets, dishes, knives, etc. The five Moto Bugs flew around and tried to catch Sonic in their claws but Sonic easily dodged them before he took them out with a few punches. Sonic grabbed a fallen Moto Bug and used it's claws to unlock the cage that held Tails and Knuckles. Amy sent Robotnik sprawling with her hammer. Unfortunately, Robotnik landed next to the control console. Sonic tackled Robotnik and got him off but Robotnik recovered and fired his pistol. Sonic dodged the bullets before he kicked Robotnik into the wall. "What are you gonna do now, Ro-Butt-Nik?" Sonic said. "You got no Badniks to come to your rescue." "You think you can take me on?! Me?! I am the smartest person in the world!" Robotnik tried to punch Sonic but he dodged and kicked Robotnik in the thigh. Robotnik grabbed Sonic before he threw him to the ground and battered him with punches. "That was supposed to hurt?" Sonic asked. "Cute." Sonic kicked Robotnik in the chest two times before he punched Robotnik in the face and zapped him with a blast of Chaos Energy. Then Sonic threw a Ring up in the air before he kicked it at Robotnik. The Ring swallowed him up screaming before the portal closed. "Great job, Sonic." Tom said. "Thanks." Sonic said. "So, I guess Ro-Butt-Nik's gone now." Knuckles said. "Yep, and that means no more headaches for us." Tails said. "Yep, life's gonna be great from now on." Sonic said.
Chapter Seven
Back at Tom and Maddie's house, Sonic opened his bag and took out a ring. "You don't have to go." Tom said. "You could stay here with us." "I can't. As long as Robotnik keeps coming back, I'll put you in danger." "Well, that there is a fair point." Tom said. Tails and Knuckles shook hands with Sonic. "Thanks, Sonic. Thanks for being our friend." Tails said. "Yeah, stay safe." Knuckles said. "I will." Sonic said. Surprisingly, Amy kissed Sonic. "Sonic, I love you." Amy said. "Wow. Okay. Did not see that coming." Sonic said. "I kinda did have a crush on you, though." Sonic and Amy both blushed. "Okay, well, I guess this is goodbye." Sonic said. "Bye, Sonic." Tom said. He wiped his eyes with a napkin. "Are you crying?" Sonic asked. "No, dust got in." Tom said quickly before he grinned. Sonic grinned back before he threw the ring and went into the mushroom planet.
One year later
Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Tom, Maddie, and their son Robert, were in their house when a Ring portal opened and Sonic stepped out. "Hey, Sonic, how's life been?" Tom asked. "Pretty good." Sonic said. "But I know I couldn't have made it without you guys." "Don't mention it." Knuckles said. "So, what are we gonna watch?" A few minutes later, they all sat on the sofa, eating popcorn and watching Vin Diesel.
Epilogue
On a forest planet, Robotnik was hacking his way through the trees with his knife and he came upon a black and red hedgehog. "Who are you?" the hedgehog asked. "I am Dr Robotnik." Robotnik said. "I am Shadow the Hedgehog." Shadow said. "Why are you here?" Robotnik grinned. He had a new ally here. "I am here to warn you about a dangerous person named Sonic..."
