The immortal was the first human born on earth.

Atlantis, the city floating in the Atlantic Ocean. Or so it had been, if not one of the days extra warding went wrong and the city collapsed, refusing to let anyone in or out.

Camelot, legendary place to have King Arthur reigning in the 5th century. Once he had reigned there and faked his death. In the future, his descendants would re-establish the castle as Hogwarts.

Olympus, a city which he leaved behind a council of even members. They too had once been given a long life, but insanity was an unfortunate side effect. Olympus had been long gone, as the council members broke out in a fight.

Tenochtitlan, a magical city long before the Aztec empire. But as soon as he left, the remaining members grew more and more fiercely political, and soon there was an empire hunting other tribes down.

Chang'an, the Babel Tower, Hawaiki, Mount Penglai, etcetera…

All of his great works, constructs seemed to crumble down as soon as he left.

But there was so much to do, and he couldn't stay in one place on the globe for too long. Or did he?

He was now planning to open an international magical school for all magical children.

Now that the whole world new of each other, he could make them understand.

He was planning for quite a while, and the amount of books that he had to rewrite was ridiculous.

But he had done it all, and it was now time to open the magical school.

Britain had an unusually high percentage of wizardkind, as many wars, conflict between muggles, witchhunts around the world had left the population linearly increasing.

Magicals could not exponentially increase as the muggles. It was their nature.

And yet, there were 2947 outwardly magical children and 7890 inwardly magical children (also called squibs) between the age of 11 and 17 worldwide.

He did not know how many were going to attend this newly established school, but he made sure to have room for them all.

The immortal, when he did have a goal, he did it perfectly.

So he made a daycare/pre-school, elementary school, primary school, college, research facilities, an extensive library, and a magical creature sanctuary.

Daycare was for those of age 4 to 7. They will spend most of their time socializing and playing.

Elementary school was for those of age 8 to 10. They will learn with fixed classmates the mandatory stuff.

Primary School was the real deal. They had electives in each semester such as:

Non-magical Britain history, Magical Britain history, World history, Mayan History, European history, Runes, Ancient Runes, Rune arrays, Runic rituals, Herbology, British native Herbology, Science, Mathematics, Arithmancy, Spell crafting, Physics, Chemistry, Potions, Potions ingredients, Industrial Potions, Healing Potions, Healing, Medicine, Alchemy, Magical Creatures, Care of Magical creatures, Defense, Dueling, European Spells, European Charms, European Curses, American Totems, American Rituals, African Totems, African Rituals, African Spells, Animagus transformation, Soul Magic, European Dark Arts, Practical Spells, Art, Magical Art, Design, Music, Magical Music, Quidditch, British Etiquette, ….

There were mandatory classes and electives, but hey, you get the idea.

The classes all smoothly flowed into the college curriculum. There was no clear line either. Primary school students could enroll in college subject if they took all the required subjects.

College had all types of obscure majors. One could do a double major, or just listen to the general classes and graduate. Grown wizards could also enroll in college.

But that wasn't all. The muggles were becoming more united. They had scientific journals published worldwide. The magicals, however, refused to share knowledge. They were more segregated, and with threats like the atomic bomb, they really needed to know how to work together.

If magicals had research institutes and were sharing research knowledge, they would learn more. Also, the probability that an unknown threat would appear would be much smaller. People would start to think logically, rationally and not emotionally.

The black and white elves, the dwarves, and the elder dragons were all following this practice since decades ago. They were species that hid themselves from others with the help of the immortal. He also stopped a war between elves and dwarves, and white elves against dark elves. Now they understood each other better, and their population slowly increased over the millennia.

So, college. It was needed badly, and the immortal had the right bait.

Students of the schools and graduates of their schools were the only ones that could use the library.

Long lost information of Atlantis, the books of the Olympus Wizards, new and explained theories from research.

Who wouldn't want it?

Surely everybody would want the knowledge.

Even Ollivander.

Even Dumbledore.

Even Tom Riddle.

And every unspeakable in the British Isles.

They would all take the bait.

The teachers would be the elves and some elder dragons. The elves lived up to 500 years, and the dragons lived nearly two millennia.

The teachers and students would have to wear translation charmed objects, as their language would all differ.

It would be well worth the 7 years he spent time on.

In year 1968, the letters were sent for the 1969 – 1970 school year.

Severus Snape, Lily Evans, Petunia Evans (as an inwardly magical squib), James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin (not knowing that he could go to Hogwarts yet), Sirius Black, Regulus Black got letters for International Magical Elementary School(IMES).

Bertha Jorkins had a Hogwarts Acceptance Letter with a IMPS (Primary School) Acceptance Letter.

Albus Dumbledore, Tom Riddle, Gerrick Ollivander, Unspeakable Pandora Lovegood, Marius Black (also known as Mad Marius, inwardly magical squib), Minerva McGonogall, and many more had a college notice, that they could enroll, with some book of their interest.

We are pleased to inform you that your son/daughter has been accepted at the International Magical Elementary School.

All necessary means of books, equipment, robes, and transport will be provided if you sign in.

Students may bring pets. If dangerous, precautious measures will be made.

Parents may watch the classes in the first week.
