Mint paused. "Hey, I know a place where you can hide!"
Twilight smiled faintly. "Uh, I don't think hiding is the best thing to do around Parts Collectors."
Mint beckoned to another area of the warehouse. He pushed a stool towards a shelf.
Four other Rainbows sat in a row: Marine, Lief, Candy and Papaya.
"If they come knocking, hide here!" Mint said.
"And where'd Mistress get these from?" Twilight asked.
"Some people who sell their old vacuums to be refurbished sometimes pack them with the vacuums," Mint said. "Maybe as a companion on the long journey?"
Marine and Lief laughed.
"Honey," Papaya said. "I think my owner knew something was goin' on between me and that hunky stick vacuum." She looked at Twilight. "We can make space. When those ruffians come knockin', just hop on the shelf."
Twilight paused. It did sound like an idea.
Damon had to stop for fuel. Diana had "borrowed" a debit card from someone's wallet to pay for gas.
Haley looked out the window. The clerk was busy ringing up someone buying cigarettes.
After refueling, and paying for the gas, Damon pulled out of the parking lot.
Vito and Pippa were starting to get bored. "Are we there yet?" Vito asked.
"We have a while to go," Damon replied once he finally made it onto the highway.
