Too Easy

"So, what are we going to do to Twilight?" Diana asked.

"If she puts up a struggle, I could always do what I did with that white Rainbow," Maia replied.

There was a Rainbow switch on order. Tempest said he needed a new one.

Maia was always ready to help out a friend and from what she heard, there was a compatible donor somewhere in the suburbs.

Damon parked in front of a small house.

Bianca hopped off the night stand. Master was on vacation and that gave her and Max (a yellow Eureka vacuum) time to explore.

The back door to the house was unlocked. Something had pushed a couple boxes out of the way.

An intruder? Bianca hoped it was just a raccoon.

The two turned to face a tall figure: a floor fan stood in the kitchen. She had a list in her plug.

"Hmm, Rainbow... I came to the right place," she said.

Bianca clutched onto Max. "You... you're not supposed to be here!" she finally spat out.

"Really?" the fan asked. "Our client needs your switch. And I'll take it... even if I have to shatter you."

Bianca felt her white surface turn red. Anger.

"Stay away!" she growled. She launched herself at Maia.

Maia hopped away. A skilled assassin such as herself knew not to fall for tricks like this.

The fight raged for awhile. Bianca attempted to grab the screwdriver from Maia's grasp.

Max hid behind a pile of towels.

That's when it happened.

Maia swiped at Bianca, sending her tumbling to the tile floor.

Max's motor fell. The sound of cracking.

Maia paused to unscrew Bianca's switch.

"Sorry," Maia said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. She left the house.
