Worried

Marine sat on a cardboard box. Keith slithered up towards him. "Wow, Parts Collectors. I thought they were a myth." Keith was a Shark Cordless vacuum.

Marine put his cord around him. "We didn't deal with them at the aquarium."

Keith laughed. "The security cameras screamed at anything that made a slight movement. Except for the fish."

"Will we get to see them again?" Marine asked.

Keith signaled a smart phone that was on the table. Droid managed to safely drop to the floor. He brought up an image of the aquarium. "Sea Lion couple is expecting new baby."

Marine's eyes widened.

"Well, I'm fixed, so they'll be packing us back up in a few days."

Marine couldn't wait to get back home.

Lief only had eyes for a Luxley Dragon. She wasn't the appliance in need of repair; he was.

Thankfully, their owners who owned a cabin in Montana had a spare vacuum. Evie was a Kirby Avalir and was more than willing to take over until they returned.

Scylla looked around. "I don't think it's very fitting of my model to be worried," she said. "But from all the rumors I've heard... well... I can't help but to worry."

Lief hopped forward. "Defend the castle!" He paused. "Or, maybe I should stop reading fantasy novels."

Scylla embraced him. "That's what I love about you. You're so weird."

"But still," Lief said.

Candy found an old shipping box and refused to leave. A very anxious Canister vacuum wheeled up to her.

"Candy, it's not you they're after," she said.

"I know, I'm just sharing the worry," Candy replied. She opened the box a bit.

Emily was a Eureka Canister Vacuum. "We'll figure out a plan. At least they announced their arrival."

Papaya hopped towards a tall stick vacuum. "Oh, Samael, looks like the collectors are comin'."

Samael laughed. His voice was deep and gravelly. "If they ever come to this place, let's have a plan. This is a place to heal, not to hurt."

Papaya looked at the others. "I'll figure out a way to calm my siblings."
