Hi so this story is going to stop going with the canon timeline after season seven because I have not seen seasons nine or ten and certainly not 11 yet so from this chapter onward no conflicts are canon, my Ninjago stuff will only be updated when I feel like it but nothing will be deleted.
The whole debacle with the Time twins was now over and the ninja were working on the quilt again. Kai and Nya were stitching the battle that took place back in time.
"Hey Kai, who's that woman with the blonde hair?" Asked Loyd
"Well from what I heard she was the fiance of Cliff Gordon, she had lighting powers," said Kai
"Did you say, Cliff Gordon? As in THE Cliff Gordon? The actor who plays Fritz Donagan?" Asked Lloyd bouncing up and down. Jay looked at the ground, so he got his powers from his biological mom.
"Jay I think it's time you talk to your father," said Nya softly. Jay nodded and that afternoon went to his parents' house to get the key and address. He sighed as he rang the doorbell to the Gordon Mansion. A security guard opened the door.
"Oh, it's you, Mr. Gordon has been waiting for you young Jason," said the guard leading Jay to the parlor.
"Mr. Gordon, he is here," said the guard to the man in the room before leaving Jay in the room with the man who stood up and approached Jay.
"Hello Jay," said the old actor
"so, you're my biological father," said Jay
"Yes, please sit, I know you have questions," said Cliff solemnly. Jay sat on the couch and Cliff sat in the armchair across the table
"I guess my first question is why did you give me up? Didn't you want me?" asked Jay
"Yes, I wanted you more than anything but your mother was worried about your powers, you were hardly a week old when you gave the dog quite a shock, both literally and figuratively, we felt it was best to keep you out of the spotlight with, with all the cameras surrounding your mother and me, we didn't want childhood fame to corrupt you, especially with how you seemed destined to carry on your mother's legacy, we gave you to the Walkers because Ed is my cousin and I had known him for years but him and his wife went off the grid so we felt it was best for them to raise you away from the cameras and paparazzi, especially because we had to hide the fact that you even existed considering how you were born before we got married, your mother and I loved you but needed to keep you safe, it broke our hearts to leave you on Ed and Edna's doorstep, but keeping you safe had to be our main goal," said Cliff sadly
"So where is my mom?" asked Jay
"Oh she's out of town on a charity trip to bring electricity to a remote town, she'll be back in a few days," said Cliff fondly, it was clear that he loved his wife very much.
"How did you find out I was a ninja?" asked Jay
"Well when a blue-clad boy spouting lighting from his hands turns up on the news it tends to turn one's head, your mother was so proud when we found out," said Cliff
"What's mom's name?" asked Jay
"Amaya, her and I met when a serpentine fell onto the set of the movie I was filming, she ran in looking like a goddess of thunder, she zapped that snake to a crisp, as well as my heart" chuckled Cliff
"Why didn't either of you try to take me back?" asked Jay
"You were So happy, whenever there was a family reunion, Ed and Edna would bring you and you were such a happy little thing and they were so happy to have you we didn't want to take that away," said Cliff sadly " you really inherited your mother's ability to talk someone's ear off, I recall when the first master of Ice stayed over for a while and told me that your mother once got a whole group of serpentine to reveal secrets just because they wanted her to stop talking" cliff laughed
"We heard that story from Mya and Ray, the only master we know very little about is the master of Ice, we've heard stories about the master of earth being a dork sometimes," said Jay
"Oh, Jack was the only one of that group able to listen to your mother ramble on and on and pacify her need to talk, he was a very kind man, he was a good friend and very dependable, of course, your mother told me that Jack and Onyx had a bit of a thing for each other" chuckled Cliff
"I believe that, Cole and Zane recently started dating, they've had to keep their relationship on the down low though," said Jay. Suddenly the door opened and a woman with blonde hair that was slightly gray came in, tossing a hard hat into the corner
"Cliff dear I'm home," said Amaya
"I'm in the living room dear," said Cliff, Amaya walked in and saw Jay sitting there
"Jay? My baby is that you?" asked Amaya, shocked. Jay smiled sheepishly at her. He stood up and hugged her.
"Amaya dear I thought you wouldn't be back till thursday," said Cliff
"Got done sooner than expected," said Amaya, not letting go of Jay. The three of them spent the next few hours talking and catching up.
"Jay honey, we know you've grown up calling Ed and Edna your parents and we understand if you want it to stay that way, we'd be happy if you'd at least visit us once a month, and if you and your friends ever need someplace safe to hide, our door is open," said Amaya. Jay smiled
"Can I ask a favor ?" Asked Jay
"Sure son," said Cliff
"My friend Lloyd, the green ninja, is a massive Fritz Donagan fan, could you autograph something for him?" Asked Jay
"I'll do you one better, why don't you bring him over here for dinner tomorrow night" smiled cliff
"He'll be ecstatic" chuckled Jay
"Here, let me show you your room for when you stay over, we've kinda been hoping you'd stop by for years," said Amaya. The large room was painted with blues and purples, lightning bolts, a whole desk of blueprint paper, a shelf of inventing books, a closet full of technology and a four poster bed with satin sheets and down pillows
"We know how much you like inventing and comics, It's not hard to miss how much Ed and Edna brag about how brilliant of an inventor you are," said Amaya
"There's a training room down the Hall where I practice my stunt work and your mother practices her fighting," said Cliff, Jay was amazed at his room, everything he had ever wanted was right there.
"Also we know that Mya and Ray are back if you could tell them that I'd like to catch up a bit," said Amaya. Jay smiled and nodded before running into his parent's arms.
