Chapter 02

Dragan opened the door just to see his 'niece' asleep with tears on her pale face . He found too an opened letter who was sent to him . Did she read the letter? He said to himself. It was his turn to feel chocked about what his friend wrote . But that made him happy so he decided to write back to him .

2 days later

It's the weekend so the gang planned what to do . The silver haired girl didn't want to tell anybody about her secret plan of finding her dad so she avoided the talk but she liked their plans too and cheered them up .

"And you Dina ? What is your plan for tonight ?" Destiny asked her .

" I really don't know . I think I will just go watch some series since Beth is going to Jake's house . "

" I think I will just invite you to come over with me . Dad and mom will appreciate if I brought some of my friends to home and especially you "

"OK then . I'll be there at 8:00 but I will go an hour later . "

"See you soon ."

Hours later

Our young hero prepared herself and went to Destiny's house . As she knocks on the door , a redhead woman with cat shaped amber eyes opened and welcomed her .

"Nice to see you again aunt Akiza !" she said joyfully

"Nice to see you too Dina dear . Come in ! "

And so by , the young girl talked and had fun with her friend . Only when they heard the door opening :

" I'm home ! " said a man in his mid thirties .

Destiny rushed to the door to hug her father coming home . Dina saw how much they really share bonds between each other. She wished she would have to do that with her father if she ever meet up with him . She knows well too that Yusei might help her with her research by telling her some stories about her dad.

After a long time spent together , the two young girls headed to the living room to watch a movie with the rest of the family . It was the silver haired girl's chance to ask her friend's father about the topic .

"Umm.. uncle Yusei? " she said .

" Yes dear ? Is there something you'd like to talk about with me ?" the cobalt eyed man told her .

"Actually I would like to ask about how you and dad got along after your duel . I am a little curious about it . "

" Of course if you would. After all you need to know everything about him ." He answered her . " Harald and I have never really been that friends when we first met . And after our duel , we seemed to have starting to understand each other . And this is how our friendship started . We started hanging out together and telling each other our deepest secrets . We had been happy for each other's lives . The day he had you , I didn't know if he laughed because he had you or cried because he lost his wife . The days went after your mom passed away, he took a very good care of you for 10 months , he had been really happy to have you , but only when… the army airbase had called him to come back and he will get double paid if he accepts . He didn't know what to do , he never wanted to leave you alone just to stay away from danger . So he left all of us that day , he had cut all contacts with all of us even with me . I wanted to know also how was he doing. And so , that's it my dear . "

The young yellow eyed girl felt numb . Tears were running from her eyes . She deeply wanted to know why did he do that . Soon after watching a movie , she headed home saying goodbye to her friend and her welcoming family .

" Why did you tell her ? Didn't Harald tell you to not tell her anything ? " Akiza asked the Head signer .

" She have to know . It's time already for her to know why did her dad left her alone " Yusei answered her .

It was 9:30 pm . The young Rune-eyed heretic is supposed to be asleep but instead she is packing her important stuffs to leave to find her father in the West Coast. She headed to the garage and found her father's duel runner that he left there along with his deck . She headed off and decided to never come back only if she found him .

4 hours later

Our young hero arrived there and she found many houses . The West Coast is a town all boarded by the sea , many houses look as if they were near the sea . On her way riding , a gang came up to her and glanced at her .

" So , wanna pass ? Try hard . " Their leader said .

" I''ll never try hard because you are stupid enough to never know who I am . " she said back

" Oh well , guys beat her up ! "

She went to her duel runner , removed and turned her duel disk on and said : " Trap Card open : Glepnier , The Fetters of Fenrir . " . A huge green blueish fire circled around the gang , screaming in help .

Meanwhile , a silver haired man with yellow eyes and a very pale skin watched the whole process and thought :

Fenrir ? This is my card . How can she use it successfully ?Or should I ask how have she got my deck and my runner ? Wait… she has something on her yellow eye : A Rune eye ? I need to talk to her . She might need also a refugee.

After the gang left , the mid thirtied man came up to her and asked her : " Need a refugee young girl ? "

She turned around to face him . The silver haired man smirked at her and gave her a hand , she held his hand and transported her runner with her along with her stuffs to go to his house .

I felt some warmth holding his hand . He seems kind . Well , I don't have where to stay so I have to accept his offer . She thought to herself .
