What's this? Another chapter of one of my Ninjago stories so soon? I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and have a bit of extra time lately so I'm using it to the benefit of my fans. Two little OC's arrive in this chapter and they will play a bigger role down the line. I own nothing in this story.

Zane was burnt out. He was constantly taking care of the ninja and getting hurt in battle trying to protect his increasingly lazy brothers. Nya turned out to not be the motherly type and Jay had zero ideas on how to raise a kid so the task of raising the twin balls of energy that were Jay and Nya's sons fell to Zane. Cole got out of bed one night, Zane had been up for the whole week straight and Cole was worried. He went to Zane's old room that had been turned into the twins' room and found his boyfriend rocking the little boys trying to get them to stop crying.

"Zane? Baby, you really need to make Nya and Jay do this" said Cole

"That's the thing, they realized they weren't up to raising them and legally passed custody to me," said Zane. His shoulders were slumped in exhaustion, bandages hung loosely around his arms, head, torso, and legs and he had lost a lot of weight.

"You can ask me for help, you know that right? I'm worried about you" said Cole

"I don't want to burden you with my problems and pain, I was built to protect, not to be taken care of," said Zane. Cole frowned and gently pulled Zane close to him

"Zane, baby, how can you protect others if you aren't in good condition, please honey, I'm worried about you. You are burning yourself out taking care of us and the twins, you can't keep going like this and not shut down, you need to rest, I don't want to lose you" said Cole softly

"I'll be fine, I'm a robot, you are human and so are the twins, and our friends, you all matter more than I do," said Zane

"Zane, look at me," said Cole firmly

"You matter more to me than anyone else in the world, get the twins to sleep and then come to bed, you need to rest, tomorrow you are staying in bed and I'll deal with the twins and the chores, I love you too much to let you do this to yourself," said Cole

" but Lloyd broke his wrist and Jay needs to be put in line and Kai has a cold and Nya is already mad at me because I haven't been able to help her on her new mech weapon. I just can't go to bed yet, I have so much I have to do and the others will be angry at me if one thing isn't done" whimpered Zane

"They can get over themselves, you need sleep," said Cole

"I thought I meant something to them before, but everything they said while stitching the quilt was a lie, they only need me for chores and to save their butts in battle." Whimpered Zane

"Come to bed baby, you need to rest" soothed Cole but Zane shook his head

"I want to but I can't, Lloyd is already mad at me for something and if I don't get everything done he'll pile more chores onto me," said Zane as he set little Andrew and Noah into their crib

" Zane, if you don't come to bed right now I'm withholding snuggles for a week," said Cole. That made Zane sigh

"You play dirty, but I'll have to take that consequence as much as I need those snuggles to get me through the day, I really can't make Lloyd mad again". Cole was shocked, he had been bluffing.

"Zane, if you don't get to bed right now I'm carrying you there and holding you so you don't escape," said Cole firmly before carrying Zane's marriage style into their room and setting him on the bed. Zane gave up trying, he was too tired to argue with Cole.

"I'll take care of the twins if they cry again" soothed Cole as he ran his hand through Zane's hair.

"Fine," said Zane, finally giving into sleep. Cole sighed and pulled Zane close

"Things will get better, I promise" whispered Cole kissing Zane's head. Cole fell asleep with Zane in his arms. They both woke up to an angry Lloyd complaining that breakfast wasn't ready. Zane groaned before trying to get up

"Make your own breakfast, Zane deserves to rest for once, do your own chores for once" snapped Cole before cuddling Zane closer to him. Suddenly the twins began to cry.

"He has to get up to deal with them, then he needs to cook us food," said Lloyd smugly, Cole smacked Lloyd across the face.

"Get out," said Cole lowly before pushing Lloyd out the door and going to take care of the crying twins. As soon as the babies were settled down he brought them into his and Zane's room so he could look after them while Zane slept. Then the mail came, there was a letter for Zane indicating that he was no longer considered one of the ninjas by the city and banned from all areas his father had resided, including the cemetery. When Zane read the letter he just sighed, he knew this would happen, the prejudice against robots had been growing and it had finally reached the city council who agreed on the restrictions. Zane rolled over, trying to hide the fact that he was crying. Cole got into the bed and pulled Zane close

"It's going to be okay baby, we'll figure this out," Cole tried to soothe his sobbing boyfriend

"No, it won't be," whimpered Zane

"I think we are going to have to go live with my dad, we'll bring the twins and raise them away from the city and the ninja life," said Cole

"But what if the town your dad lives in passes similar laws?" whimpered Zane

"Then we go live with the serpentine, we will figure this out baby," said Cole. Zane buried his face in Cole's chest. Cole gave his dad a call to make sure that the town had no laws against nindroids. Then he packed up all their stuff and the stuff for the twins.

"My dad will be here soon to pick us up," said Cole. Zane looked at all the suitcases

" How did you pack everything so quickly?" asked Zane

"I'm the packing master," smiled Cole. Zane gave a light chuckle. The twins were strapped into car seats so that getting them into the car would be a snap. Cole sat on the bed and pulled Zane close,

"No matter what, we are in this together," said Cole. Soon they all got into Lou's car with all their stuff. Zane was in the back with the twins. Eventually, they arrived at Lou's house. Cole got all the stuff into the house and set up the crib for the twins so that they could put the little ones down for a nap.

"So mind explaining the sudden move and why in the world were you wondering if this town had any anti nindroid laws?" asked Lou

"The city passed a whole bunch of new laws basically meaning that Zane can't go or do certain things just because he's a nindroid. And our friends have been treating him like a servant, I couldn't take how they were treating him anymore so that's why we're here," said Cole

"And what's with the two baby boys?" asked Lou

"Nya and Jay decided they weren't up for the task of parenting and so Zane has legal custody of Andrew and Noah," said Cole

"I see," said Lou. He was going to have to make some calls and adjust his schedule. Cole made sure Zane was asleep before checking the angry messages the other ninja kept blowing up his phone with.

Cole: NOT COMING BACK UNTIL YOU ALL AGREE TO TREAT ZANE BETTER AND NOT UNTIL THE CITY GETS RID OF THOSE STUPID ANTI ROBOT LAWS! Responded Cole before he turned off his phone and turned his attention to Zane, making sure his boyfriend was resting.

"Don't worry baby, I promise this will be fixed." soothed Cole.
