" So I'm leaving for my mission . See you at launch ! "

" OK then . See you "

When she left , the silver haired man took his phone and dialed his friend's number .

" Hey Dragan . I hope you're doing alright . I just want to ask how is Dina today . " he said .

" Umm… Harald . I don't know what to say , but I didn't found your daughter in bed . Beth even told me she never found her in bed yesterday's night . "

Chapter 04

The silver haired man is shocked. He never knew what to say . He stayed silent for almost 2 minutes . And then said back :

" Have you asked her friends where could she be ? "

" I am not sure about that . " The dark and blond haired man responded confidently.

" Please check the garage and if you find my duel runner please tell me . "

Dragan left and checked out the garage . He never found any trace of the duel runner or the deck . He was a little afraid to tell his best friend about the bad news .

" Listen , just don't get mad . First of all , your runner isn't here no more. Second , I think she took it to get to you . You sent me a letter about the good news of coming back . She read it first , she knew about it first. She found your address, so I think she went out to you. "

The yellow eyed man could never believe what he heard . I was sure that the girl who came here was my daughter . He closed the call and thought :

First , she got my deck and my runner and she has a Rune eye. Second, she had been through the same situation . When I first touched her hand , a warm feeling came up to me . He went then to his room , opened his locker . There was a picture of him holding her in the beach . It was a happy day, wasn't it Little Wolf ? You are here all the time . You became a beautiful young girl . You can't believe my happiness seeing you again . Tears were running over his face . I am so sorry Dina .

A few hours later

Dina came in and saw the mid-thirtied man sleeping with tears on his face. She checked over him , she saw him hugging a picture of him and a baby girl on his arms on the beach .

Wow I think he was happy when he had his baby girl . It's so sad that he left her . I think he'll come back to her when he finish working for the army .

She reached out for a blanket and covered him , wiping his tears over him . I wish you could come back to her . Then before she left , she kissed him on the forehead and said : " You are a great daddy . If I was your daughter , I would be happy to have a father like you . "

She went to her bed and thought back at what people said to her about her father .

"I can't believe he left his daughter and lived here just because he is working for the army "

" Well what can we do ? He deserved what happened to his parents , sister and wife . I'd think you should stay away from him before you going to be next . "

" The guy who you are living with has the same curse . I am pretty sure you are his daughter. Stay away from him or you'll die . "

First , I am 100% sure that this guy or my father aren't like what people said about them . But what trigges me the most is that how did the third person thought that I am the daughter of this man . Maybe because of our looks . I will just go to sleep .

Meanwhile

" DINA DID WHAT ?! " yelled Bethanie histerically .

She didn't expect her best friend and sister to do that : going for 3 days out of town to find her father in the West Coast without telling anybody about her plan .

" So what are we going to do Dad ? " said Alayna .

" Nothing " both men and their wives responded .

" What do you mean by ' nothing ' mom ? both girls answered .

" Nothing means we will let her . After all maybe she can convince him to come back and live with her . "

The two girls had nothing to say but nodded to what their parents said.

They left to the garden, wondering what let their best friend do that ?

" Hey Alayna you still think she's okay ? I don't know like, it's been a long time since Dina and I have hid something like that on each other. " Beth said , with a worried tone.

" Maybe because it's personal and nobody is going to have the courage to tell her where uncle Harald live . So she found out herself and left without telling anybody. So basically don't worry about her . I think she's doing the right thing . " The redhead girl reassured her .

Back in the West Coast ,

The young girl was still in bed thinking . It was 3 am . She was wondering every minute and every second about finding her daddy .

Maybe it's a clue , maybe that man is my father. Who knows ? I will have a try tomorrow to know about him . But there's already another clue : my father is a Rune eyed heretic so I need to find him in the city first again .

Later at night ,

Harald woke up in the middle of the night . He found his daughter , his one and only sleepimg after overthinking . He reached for a blanket , he covered her , kissed her on thd cheek and caressed her hair . He hugged her before he goes back to bed and told her :

I will always love you unconditionnally Littlest Wolf .

He then left the room and cried himself to sleep .
